Dr. MacGregor and all of her staff were amazing today. They took the time to work with my Cat, explain everything in detail and charged less than what I know it should have been (I worked in a clinic for many years so I'm familiar with the pricing layout). My Cat is usually reactive, unpredictable and a little shady towards people he doesn't know but he was very comfortable with them. Highly recommend Guelph Cat Clinic for all Cat owners. They truly care about the Cats and the owners

This clinic couldn't care more about your cats if they were their own. One of my cats has special needs and they didn't treat him for a second like he was different, they were very affectionate to him and he was super calm around them. I hate vets and I've lived all over Ontario, but I can say they are probably the best clinic I've ever been to. I've even called to ask a question and spoken directly to vet without paying a penny. I wouldn't blink to trust them with any of my cats, they know their stuff and they have the kitties best interest at heart. Fair prices and get staff.

We left with arthritis medication for our cat that we didn’t intend to buy, (we were there about a cyst,) but at a reasonable price. The vet was very friendly to my son and listened to what he had to say about the cat since he spends the most time with her.

Wonderful and caring staff! When my cat was sick they were able to get me in right away so he could be checked out. They gave him great care and followed up with me the next day to ensure my cat was still doing well. I've also boarded my two cats there twice and both times I had no issues. Cats came back happy and healthy! Would recommend this vet clinic to anyone with a cat!

It is expensive and follow-up is lacking. After an invasive procedure my cat was sent home with me with no de-briefing of what symptoms I could expect. They did not phone to follow-up. When I went back it was as if they didn't have a record of what they had done. Treatment options weren't discussed until my cat was very sick. I would not recommend this clinic.

I have been to many animal clinics and vets over the years. I’m absolutely blown away with the care and compassion of this group of people that work at Guelph Cat Clinic. The vets take their time and answer all questions and provide you with the best options. Follow up afterwards is always amazing. Never rushed, and they really make an effort to get to know your cat and it’s personality. It’s evident in everything they do of their pure love of animals. I highly recommend Guelph Cat Clinic.

My cat ate a piece of his toy and had it lodged in his digestive tract and was extremely ill since he couldn't pass it. I was a distraught mess and my cat needed surgery. I called around to a couple of vet offices and the prices varied and they weren't entirely transparent. Cat Clinic made time to meet with me the same day and gave me a couple of quotes based on best and worse case scenarios. The price was good in comparison to other vet clinics and they kept me in the loop about all the fees. My cat was a very difficult patient and despite this they took very good care of him. I also have never met a veterinarian who called when they say they would call and were very informative about the procedure. I just brought my cat home and got a follow-up the next day. I can't say enough good things about this clinic. All cats should come here.

Unbelievable how these people would rather my cat die than me be $15 short for one day, yeh some real animal lovers here. Thanks for nothing, what a level of caring turning away an animal you say "needs to be seen immediately" and then tell me since I'm $15 short on a $90 payment that they won't see him, sounds more like they care for money, and not a day late.. EDIT: My buddy is gone now, at least a decent place was able to keep him comfortable and let me be there for him as he went, if you love your little guys do yourself a favor and take them somewhere that actually cares, not here.

Great cat-centric care in downtown Guelph. Getting appointments and urgent appointments is never an issue. Vets are highly knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Staff seem to genuinely care about their feline patients. Follow up is excellent — we generally get calls after appointments to be sure all is going well with our kitty again. Pricing seems fair, as fair as one finds in veterinary medicine these days, anyway. Highly recommend.

So glad I picked the Guelph cat clinic for my lily . She has just finished her “kitten plan” and spay . She was so well taken care of . Staff are always a pleasure to talk to, they have listened to my concerns and have given me great advice . Prices seem very reasonable . Plus they have birds , which lily loves !!

The staff are all very kind and seem to genuinely care about their clients. Appointments are thorough and not rushed. Communication is fantastic, which is extremely important to me when it comes to caring for my cats and understanding their medical needs. Dr. Maggs was recommended to me by several friends, and she certainly lived up to the high expectations. The clinic is also very clean, and my boys liked the birds in the exam rooms.

I explicitly said not to administer a vaccine and they did without telling me and then when I showed up to get my cat they charged me for it. Extremely unprofessional and unethical I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER. Stay clear

So pleased with the Guelph Cat Clinic! I moved to the area in the summer and needed to get my cat registered at a new vet and they took her in and got her registered. The process was quick and easy! After I got her registered I had to take my cat to this clinic for a couple of visits due to an infection and they have taken amazing care of her, getting her healed up with the right medications and care. The staff is knowledgable, kind, and I feel confident bringing my fur baby here. I fully trust that she is in the right hands. I have a long haired kitty who needs her back end groomed and with past groomers it really hasn't been a pleasant experience for her. The staff here are able to give my girl a great grooming experience and I am relieved and so pleased to have found them! Highly recommend the Guelph Cat Clinc :)

Most amazing vet I have ever been to. The staff are incredibly friendly and inviting. The vets are very knowledgeable and provide excellent care. Being a cat specific vet has proven to be a great experience as all 3 of our cats get a great level of treatment and each visit feels special to them. The birds in each "patient" room are a great distraction for the cats. If you own cats I would highly recommend this vet.

I would highly recommend this vet, they are awesome! I just got two new kittens and they suddenly got sick and they are taking great care of them. The whole staff is very kind, caring, and supportive. They definitely care about your pet. They were very comforting and saw them right away even though they were fully booked. Here is the deal. No one wants to take their cat to the vet during covid, but we do what weve got to do. I moved to guelph and needed a new vet for my small (vet says actually big) guy. I brought him here for his annual wellness check and vaccines. Let's be clear, I'm obsessed with my cat and mostly believe that no one can take care of him as well as I can. The team here made sure I was comfortable and communicated what was going to happen in this appointment. (Grey level lockdown means I had to wait in the car) The appointment was quick and the vet called and took her time discussing the results of the wellness check. I will continue to bring my cat here as I am thrilled with how well they took care of him

Best vet clinic for your cat!! Ever!! I've been to other vet clinic before in Guelph, where charged me rediculouly. I finally decided to take my cat to the cat clinic, and I believe it is the smartest decision I ever made!! The staff, techs and vets are sooooo friendly. They listened to you. When I bring my cat to the welness annual exam, they told me so many things to help me better take care my cat. My cat also seemed enjoying her time at the clinic. Can you believe they have birds for your cat for entertain!!! So considerate!! They also give you good advices before you send your cat to the clinic. There was one time that I found my cat's lips were swollen, called the clinic. They told me what I should do, and said I dont need to be to the clinic. Solved my problem for free!! Amazing!!! I cannot image I would send my cat to another clinic but at theirs.

If I could, I would give 6 stars out of 5. Their expertise is unparalleled, particularly because they don't see only the problem, they see the entire cat, including his/her behaviour. They go to great lengths to reduce the stress of being at the clinic and their communication with clients is beyond excellent. My experiences have been with Dr. Maggs. I don't have the words to adequately express my gratitude to her. I trust her diagnosis and treatment without question. There is no other clinic I would go to, even though I don't live in Guelph.

I drive in from kitchener to take my Khloe to see them for both check ups and when shes not feeling well. Rates are reasonable and are comparable to other non-specialized vets.

The staff here are knowledgeable and helpful. They give honest estimates and will set realistic expectation. They love cats and are great at handling them, but are also very good at communicating with people. They call to follow up on you cat's wellbeing but aren't pushy or trying for sales like some other vet clinics in the area. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone with cats. Pricing is middle range for the area.

I had to take my cat in for bowel issues and Dr. Farley and the team went above and beyond to make sure she was well taken care of and I felt comfortable. Everything was explained to me with good detail and compassion, even when I asked a lot of questions. They followed up more than once and continue to give her the best care.
