I've been coming here with my puppy Milo???? since I got him end of January and I gotta say the people here are all friendly, professional, knowledgeable and give off a good vibe. The veterinarians answered any questions I have with detail and advise me on how I should proceed in the future with my concerns. Plus Milo seems to love everyone here as he gets super excited when he sees anyone. If your looking for a vet and staff that cares about your furry friend than look no further this is the place too go????

I came here because my older dog had back pain and I wanted to assessment and laser therapy. Although the vet was smart and answered my questions, the laser therapy provided was for 1/2 of the time quoted, the pain meds were priced 400% of their online price, and the secretary wouldn't submit my claim online, meaning I had to spend 42 minutes after to do it myself. The dosage given is also significantly below the recommended amount, and my dog has is still seemingly in pain.

Cornell Animal hospital has been great to us and our fur babies from the get go. We have taken our cats there for 3 years now, and always have a good experience there. The vets are always informative, the staff on the reception desk are always pleasant and helpful, and despite our one cat's dislike of vets in general they are always patient with her and manage to work around her intolerance. With COVID happening as well, they have a good system in place with the curbside pick-up and drop-off of animals. Thank you Cornell staff for always making our visits pleasurable! Highly recommend this vet to anyone.

Today we had our first visit to Cornell with our puppy. The practice came highly recommended from friends. Nicole our first line of contact, was so nice and professional. Her love of dogs was obvious. Dr Terra was so thorough about our puppy's health physical. This is not our first dog as we lost our boy last year. We are extremely happy with our experience at Cornell Animal Hospital. We walked in with an emergency problem with our black lab (Faith) and they were able to see us right away. The entire staff is professional, caring and accommodating. The staff worked with us to deal with our dog's health problems and gave us a number of options. The prices are extremely fair especially when compared with previous experiences at other clinics. We are very happy to be clients of Cornell Animal Hospital.

Couldn't ask for a better vet office. We are so glad we lucked out finding Cornell. We always see Dr. Friske, and she's great with all of our dogs (and their unique problems). Some of our dogs are nervous, overly excitable, or just cautious, and Dr Friske, the vet techs and the people at the front desk cater to all of them. Our dogs absolutely love going there, but most of that might be all the liver treats.

I took my dog for his ear affection. I told them debris things deep in the ear. They did not clean them out and only roughly clean the ear’s appearance and charge me a lot! After I got home checking my dog’s ear find about the deep dirty things which I cannot clean them myself, I called them, but they closed. It is just 4:07 on Monday! Made me very uncomfortable about not cleaning the things deep in the ear. Why should I go to your hospital if I can clean them out myself?

For anyone considering a new vet, I personally have found the vets at this clinic to offer difference advice depending on which vet I see, and some of the advice given can be very forward and ‘to the point’ – to the extent that I have felt uncomfortable. I had a miscommunication with one of the vets regarding my cat/his necessary diet when he got sick with urinary crystals. I didn’t feel like my questions about urinary food from the pet store vs the vet store was properly heard and I didn’t feel properly educated in a positive way about the necessity of the veterinary urinary diet. I let this stew for several years and when I received my medical records was upset to see personal judgements made about me, assuming that I would not listen to medical advice and that they would wait to see if my cat died. I did however listen to all advice and my cat has been happy and healthy on veterinary food for the last several years. With that being said, the vet in question has called me and offered to talk. We had a very good conversation where both sides were heard and I can now understand that his abrasive tone was fueled by passion for the welfare of my pet. I think if there’s anything to take away from my experience its that as people, we will get along better with some vets more than others and I am happy to say I can part ways with Cornell on better terms than I originally thought. I also want to note to anyone reading to please take vets advice when it comes to an essential diet for problems like urinary crystals, diabetes and kidney disease. Vets know best and my experience would have likely been better when asking questions/trying to learn, if more people listened to his advice.

The whole team at Cornell has consistently been amazing. They are so supportive and clear, whether we were attending in person appointments or distance appointments during COVID. After experiencing care through them for a whole 'life cycle' of our cats (losing one- after amazing support from Cornell for a chronic illness- to adopting two more) I cannot imagine taking them anywhere else.

My zebra finch had a thin thread tangled to his foot caused him to has infection. I tried to clean it myself but could not do it well, then I brought him to the hospital. The vet said he could not see the thread and he just gave me antibiotics for him. 4 days later all his toes got gangrene, he suffered so much from the pain and died. I paid $180 for this service.

I just went and paid bill for my daughters cat to be put down for a 90 minute visit just over 1000.00 dollars.My young daughter was told about 1000.00 to save cat that she loved.You took a blood sample to look under microscope very cheap to do.Gave cat a cathedral also very inexpensive. My daughter was than told worst urinary track infection you had seen and nothing you could do their and could send to Toronto if wanted to spend a lot more.She than said no as told good chance cat would not survive.You should have told her from beginning that cat should be put down. My point is you charge my daughter 1000.00 dollars for a 90 minute visit no surgery and very little cost to Cornell vet.You should have in the least cut her bill in half since you told her their was nothing you could do there.You do the math on what you charged per hour 650.00 a hour with no surgery and little cost to you.I'm sorry but you should be ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of someone when they are upset.Never again will I visit your animal hospital and will make sure to tell everyone I know with a sick animal to go anywhere but here.Russ.

I have very grateful to Cornell vet and the services that they provide for my 4 pets. Recently, I had an extra positive experience there as my daughter's dog needed sudden care, is not a patient , and they took her dog in that day and were welcoming, and put her at ease.
