Horrible . Caution . This vet took full avantage of our seniors . 3 of our neighbours (all different families) went in for their pets , yearly check ups , basic routine visit and simple rabies shots and left with 800$ & 600$ bills!!! Please beware. None of them will be returning customers and locals should know how dishonest they are . Horrible that you took advantage of these lovely people ! I never leave bad reviews but that’s inexcusable in this town . Thank you for your follow up remark but : to reply to your response: you sold them 80$ ear wipes . The dog never even had ear problems . Enough said .

(Translated) I brought 2 rats for surgery to remove a tumor. Both are deceased. I'm told it's not always like that, so hey, I was unlucky. It's possible. But that's not exactly what bothers me about my experience with this clinic. Here's why: When I brought in my 2nd rat, it was in the afternoon and we still had no news so I called at 4:00 PM and was told she was still waiting for her surgery. But after talking to my partner, we realized that when he called (before 4:00 p.m.) we told him that she was still asleep and that we were waiting for her to wake up. We called back at 6:00 pm because they close at 7:00 pm and we wanted to know if we were going to pick her up today, and the person on the phone said she wasn't awake and honestly she seemed to be "skating". So in short, we were fooled like that until the Vet called us to tell us "what happened" and tell us that she had died after the surgery. That she tried to revive her but that her heart finally did not return. I had to pay full price for the surgery and even the attempted resuscitation (she "just" charged me $ 50 because "usually it's more than that). And with all the nonsense and lies along the way, I not sure when she actually died, but I do know that I was charged all dressed this time. The 1st time I lost my rat in their hands, they told me it was dead on the table and couldn't finish and they just charged me the deposit I had made. The Vet who called me looked genuinely sorry and even offered to send a card with my rat's fingerprints to my son. But the 2nd time, it was really not the same. I don't know if it was the same Vet, but this time she informs me quite coldly, tells me that all costs will apply including a $ 50 for the resuscitation attempt. The person's words said "sorry" but no real emotion came out of it. I understand that it is their job, but it is our loves that we entrust to them and that we have lost. This time I had to ask her for a card with the fingerprints because she wasn't going to offer it. In short, what I did not appreciate is that we were made fool of and lied ... and that there was no regret / emotion when they told me. Customer service is essential in this type of business especially if the animal dies. The "bedside manner" is very important in this type of situation, which will either convey reality better or create more pain. I have other experiences with my rats at their clinic but hey, it's already long enough like that. You can try them because it seems that there are people who have good experiences with them. But for my part, I found a new exotic animal clinic in the area. I am just unable to go back after my last experience with them. (Original) J'ai apporter 2 rattes pour une chirurgie pour enlever une tumeure. Les 2 sont décédées. On me dit que ce n'est pas toujours comme ça, alors bon, j'ai été malchanceuse. C'est possible. Mais ce n'est pas exactement ça qui me dérange de mon expérience avec cette clinique. Voici pourquoi : Quand j'ai apporter ma 2eme ratte, il était rendu en après midi et on avait toujours pas de nouvelles alors j'ai téléphoné à 16:00 et on m'a dit qu'elle attendait toujours sa chirurgie. Mais en parlant par la suite à mon conjoint, on s'est rendu compte que lorsqu'il avait appelé (avant 16:00) on lui avait dit qu'elle était toujours endormi et qu'on attendait qu'elle se réveille. On a rappelé à 18:00 parcequ'ils ferment à 19:00 et on voulait savoir si nous allions la chercher aujourdhui, et la personne au bout du fil disait qu'elle n'est pas reveillé et honnêtement elle semblait "patiner". Donc bref, on nous a fait niaiser comme ça jusqu'à temps que la Vétérinaire nous appelle pour nous raconter "ce qui est arrivé" et nous annoncer qu'elle avait décédé après la chirurgie. Qu'elle a essayer de la réanimer mais que son coeur finalement n'a pas reparti. J'ai dû payer le plein prix pour la chirurgie et même la tentative de réanimation (elle ma "juste" chargé $50 parceque "habituellement c'est plus que ça). Et avec tout le niaisage et les mensonges en court de route, je ne sais pas quand elle est réellement décédé exactement. Mais je sais qu'on m'a chargé all dressed cette fois. La 1ere fois que j'ai perdu ma ratte dans leurs mains, ils m'ont dit qu'elle etait morte sur la table et n'ont pas pu terminé et ils m'ont juste chargé le dépôt que j'avait fait. La Vet qui m'a appelé semblait vraiment désolé et a même offert d'envoyer une carte avec les empreintes de ma ratte pour mon fils. Mais la 2eme fois, c'était vraiment pas la même chose. J'ignore si c'était la même Vet, mais cette fois, elle m'informe assez froidement, me dit que tous les frais vont s'appliqué incluant un $50 pour la tentative de réanimation. Les mots de la personne disait "désolé" mais aucune vraie émotion en sortait. Je comprends que c'est leur job, mais ce sont nos amours qu'on leur confie et qu'on a perdu. Cette fois j'ai du lui faire la demande d'une carte avec les empreintes parcequ'elle n'allait pas l'offrir. Bref, ce que je n'ai pas apprécié est qu'on nous a fait niaiser et menti...et qu'il n'y avait aucun regret/émotion quand ils me l'ont annoncé. Le service à la clientèle est essentiel dans ce type d'entreprise surtout si l'animal décède. Le "bedside manner" compte beaucoup dans ce type de situation, qui va soit mieux faire passer la réalité ou créer encore plus de douleur. J'ai d'autres experiences avec mes rattes à leur clinique mais bon, c'est déjà assez long comme ça. Vous pouvez les essayer car semblerait-il qu'il y a des gens qui ont de bonnes experiences avec eux. Mais pour ma part, j'ai trouvé une nouvelle clinique pour animaux exotiques dans la région. Je suis juste incapable d'y retourner après ma dernière experience avec eux.

Ajout suite à la réponse de la propriétaire: votre mode de fonctionnement vous appartient, c’est le manque de transparence de celui-ci qui est inacceptable en n’avertissant pas que vu la situation actuelle vous pouvez uniquement faire un service à l’auto. Vos employées sont bien venues me voir afin de savoir la dernière date de mes vaccins. Je m’attendais toutefois de votre part à titre de vétérinaire de prendre quelque minutes pour répondre à mes questions. Je suis sortie de ce rendez-vous confuse et ce n’est pas le service de qualité auquel je m’attendais. Vous aviez mon numéro dans ma fiche si vous aviez voulu me contacter rectifier la situation, ce qui n’a pas été fait.
