Care is decent but since they opened they have suffered big time from bill creep. Our anual check up has increased almost 100% since they opened 4 or so years ago.

Find another clinic. Went there for a simple problem with my cats paw (she was chewing it). They gave her pills that made her start vomiting all the time and not eating. Went for follow up visit they gave her some sort of injection (never told me what it was - didn't even see it given to her). Not even 4 days later her paw was 100 times worse then when I noticed the problem a month ago. Called them back and they wanted to see her again but charge another consultation fee because it is a different vet. They don't care about your animal - only your money. Avoid them for the sake of your animals health. I will never go back to this clinic - Dr.Rheault is no longer there and since he left the vets are sub-par.

We sure miss Dr. Michel Rheault. Animaplus does not make us feel like they are there for our animals. We mentioned the food we are feeding our cats and they did not recommend it without even know the ingredients. Any food with "meal" in it should not be given to any animal. Meat Meal (for example, lamb meal): in this example, all lamb tissues, exclusive of blood, hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, stomach and rum-en contents that are cooked (rendered). After cooking, the dried solids are added as "meal" to pet food. How can they say this is the best food to give to your animals?! Our food we are feeding our animals has NO "meal" or by-products which that alone makes it a better quality food. NATURAL Real meat. No rendered meat or meal from chicken, poultry, lamb, fish or plants. DO NOT USE THIS VET!!! My dog went in for surgery at the end of May/beginning of June this year. The surgery was to remove 'lumps' of fatty deposits on his body. Included in this was a large lump on his back end. This surgery cost me around $1500. After the surgery I was told that the lump on his back end couldn't be removed as it was an 'unknown' mass. Therefore the mass was drained and stitched up like the others. The next day it refilled more than before and became much larger, stretching the stitches. It failed to heal and continued to weep a clear liquid and blood daily. This has been the case since the surgery. I have had to consult with another Veterinarian as the Staff at Anima-Plus say that it is not their problem any longer and want to refer me to a specialist now. The Vet I’ve consulted with saw my dog today and assessed him. The cost was $151 total including necessary anti-biotics. The Vet examined the lump, took samples of the discharge and felt the areas around it. He found that it was a simple mass not attached to anything serious. These were concerns of the person who performed surgery at Anima-Plus. Therefore there is no reason why this was not removed. The mass is now extremely infected and needs to be removed as soon as possible. I am very disappointed that Anima-Plus has put my dog in this state. He’s 13 years old. I am also disappointed that I paid $1500 to not have the surgery I asked for. After consulting with the other Vet today it is clear that this could have been avoided. The Vet I’ve consulted with today, is quoting me another $1500 to remove the mass; a cost that I’ve already paid for at Anima-Plus. The Reception/Check-in staffs have unfortunately also been very unfriendly at Anima-Plus, make us wait long periods of time with no communication. When arriving (on time or early) for an appointment, we are not spoken to or acknowledged for at least 30 minutes. Then once in the medical room waiting, it is the same amount of time. After the appointment, there is another 30 minute wait to get the bill. This has happened three times in the past few months. Staff are constantly taking walk-in requests prior to waiting customers over and over. I have asked that Anima-Plus either cover this cost for another surgery or redo the surgery themselves, with no reply. It is terrible that an elderly dog go through this trama for no reason.

Hello everyone, I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to counterbalance the negative (and only) review for Anima Plus on Montee Paiment. Let me start off by saying that I was never a people person, but I grew to love the different cats that my wife and I have had over the 7 years we've been together. We have only been going to Anima Plus in 2015 but are we ever glad that we did. En commencant, tous les vétérinaires et les assistantes sont parfaitement bilingues. To repeat in English, all of the staff are incredibly bilingual so you don`t have to worry about a language barrier here. First of all, their annual checkups are reasonably priced at between 55-100$ depending on your kind of animal and shots required. All of our cats enjoyed their time with the vet and were brought back home without and trouble. Secondly, the staff and vets are very accomadating and understanding. We have never had a hard time getting an appointment, and they manage their patients, trumping you in an emergency or accepting other patients emergencies (which everyone understands since it may happen to you at some point). Thirdly, my wife and I have always felt that they had all of our pets best iterests at heart. They provide you with options, so they clearly are not just trying to sell you things to make money. In fact, we have found that they do their best to keep your costs down with alternative options if they can. Fourth point is regarding their caring during end of life care (i.e. euthanesia). It is never easy to put down a cat that you love, but let me tell you if you end up having to make this tough decision, this place will treat you and your pet(s) with care, sympathy and dignity. We`ve had the unfortunate fate to use this service twice over the past 4 months, and both times they were supportive. Of course, before getting to that decision, we had gone through several measures to try and save our cats, but when that failed and they were either in pain or overly stressed out, they were supportive of our decision. In both cases, they book our pet into the back to administer the iv for the numbing agent, and then gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes before injecting the final drug. All staff were incredibly respectful and helpful in ensuring that we would be provided with a foot imprint (which we will use for Christmas ornaments, as momentos to our very loved cats Simba and Xena). All of this to say, we have been to a few vets over the years and the reasons we will keep coming back here are: efficient, availability, affordable, knowledgeable. and respectful. Don`t hesitate to give them a call. You won`t regret it!
