I have to give a 1 star only, had my cat declawed and had to go back twice as it wasn't done properly. I felt soooo bad for my cat. The 3rd time, I decided to go somewhere else and they got it right, instantly. So, my 1st mistake was to get it declawed, if possible, avoid this operation. My 2nd mistake, go to that clinic because it was cheaper. The good news is there are other clinics near buy that will take the necessary steps in order to get it done, properly the 1st time. Brought my sick dog there. She hadn't been eating for days and was always sleeping. First appointment cost me 270$. The vet didn't know what she had. I had explained to him that she seemed to have a cold, but that she was not spayed and had recently had a heat. He gave her a shot and took her blood to do test. He asked me to come back the day after to have the results. It cost me another 175$ just to hear him says that the blood test was fine and that he didn't know what she had and needed to do more tests. He said my dog could have lots of things (ulcer, blocked intestine) and wanted me to do a 450$ test to check her intestinal track. I was fed up to hear him say ''I don't know, I need to do more test''... and have him rip me off so I went to see another vet. The second vet was anima plus. When I explained my dog's situation, they gave me an appointment right away and they asked me to get the first vet to transfer my dog's file to them by fax or e-mail. I called the first vet and he refused to do so by fax or e-mail; it was paper only and for a 35$ fee. So, I brought my dog to anima plus and the vet's TECHNICIAN, upon hearing the symptoms immediately said that my dog probably had closed pyometra, but that the veterinarian would check to make sure it was really that. The veterinarian examined my dog, said that my dog probably had pyometra. She did an X-ray, and it really was closed pyometra. Moreover, the veterinarian had the blood test from the first vet and said that there was an indication on it that showed a small infection. They did surgery on my dog right away because she could have died from it (her uterus could have ruptured). The surgery cost me 600$, consultation + X ray 175, all medication 75$). It was WAY WAY cheaper than vétérinaire de touraine, they didn't do any USELESS AND PRICY tests and they had an IMMEDIATE diagnosis. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH VÉTÉRINAIRE DE TOURAINE. Right now, my dog is doing great. Ne perdez pas de temps et d'argent avec ce vétérinaire. Il va vous faire faire plein de tests pour vous soutirer de l'argent, sans pour autant diagnostiquer le problème de votre animal.

Alors, il sort un LACET de soulier qu’il enroule autour du musso de mon chien. (C’est supposer être la muselière ça!) Je trouve cela très étrange mais ne dit rien car je me dis qu’il sait ce qu’il fait! Ensuite, il me demande la raison de ma visite, je lui montre les plaies de mon chien et lui explique les différences dans son comportement. Suite à cela, il donne une piqûre a mon chien sans m’expliquer les raisons ni me dire le prix et me dis d’aller porter mon chien dans l’auto. En revenant à l’intérieur, la réceptionniste me regarde et me dit « c’est 115$ ». Moi qui ne comprend rien a ce qui vient de ce passer, demande des explications et elle visiblement stressée appelle le vétérinaire, le vétérinaire reviens et me dit seulement « c’était pour les allergies, revenez dans 6 à 8 semaines. » Bref, laissez moi vous dire que non je ne retournerez jamais à cette endroit.

Never got a call after - three months later, our cat took a turn for the worst and could barely walk so I called them. She said "oh, no one called you? After recommendations from a competent person working for a veterinarian in Sherbrooke (unfortunately far too far from home ..) we asked the veterinarian of the Touraine clinic for an antibiotic treatment based on azithromycin (validated by several scientific studies). This one tells us that there is no treatment for warts, only surgery and when we insist a little he clearly tells us "take your dog and go see another vet". Wouaouh what professionalism! So in summary we waited more than 30 minutes (already late from 8 am), outside (people with cats were allowed inside but we could not come home with our fearful puppy ++ from the vets and that we wanted get used to it in a positive way) and ultimately get kicked out because the vet (who should be retired for a while) does not inquire about current treatments. Just one thing to tell you, save your money for a doctor who loves his job and animals, and AVOID this one. (Original) Cela fait 3 fois que je vais chez ce vétérinaire par défaut car c'est un des seuls dans la région chez qui on peut avoir un rdv rapidement. Je n'étais déjà pas une grande fan les deux premieres fois (communication difficile, peu attentionné envers les animaux, l'argent avant tout +++) mais ce matin sera la dernière fois ou je mettrais les pieds chez ce charlatan! Mon chien de 11 mois a une verrue a papilloma donc très contagieuse pour les autres chiens et nous devions passer un séjour avec d'autres chiens dans quelques semaines. Après recommandations d'une personne compétente travaillant chez un vétérinaire de Sherbrooke (hélas beaucoup trop loin de chez nous..) nous avons demandé au vétérinaire de la clinique Touraine un traitement antibiotique a base d'azithromycine (validé par plusieurs recherches scientifiques). Celui ci nous réponds qu'il n'existe aucun traitement pour les verrues, seulement une chirurgie et lorsque nous insistons un peu ce dernier nous dit clairement "prenez votre chien et allez voir un autre vétérinaire". Wouaouh quel professionnalisme ! Donc en résumé nous avons attendu plus de 30 minutes (déjà du retard dès 8h du matin), dehors (les gens avec chats étaient acceptés à l'intérieur mais nous ne pouvions pas rentrer avec notre chiot peureux ++ des vétérinaires et que nous voulions habituer de manière positive) pour au final se faire jeter dehors car le vétérinaire (qui devrait être a la retraite depuis un petit moment) ne se renseigne pas sur les traitements actuels. Une seule chose a vous dire, gardez votre argent pour un médecin qui aime son métier et les animaux et FUYEZ celui la.
