I walked in with a sick cat and left hours later with no cat and a $750 bill. How can you rack up that much money in 2 hours. It’s incredible.

We adopted two adult Newfoundland dogs within four months of each other - in addition to the two cats we already had. We found the staff and doctors at Douglas Animal Hospital (DAH) to be caring, professional, and genuinely concerned about the welfare of each of our animals. We have worked with both Dr. Bray and Dr. Goodine - both were excellent - and we have heard nothing but glowing reports about Dr. Berry from other pet owners. In particular, our second Newfie - Sampson - had a serious ear infection that required several different meds and multiple return trips to the vet. We were not charged for the follow-up visits, and for this we are truly grateful. DAH also works with the FSPCA to place feline friends in loving homes and offers a variety of pet products for sale. While DAH is not the cheapest place in Fredericton to spay or neuter your animal, the high level of service they provide is well worth your money. I would recommend the Douglas Animal Hospital to anyone who is looking for a veterinarian.

I've never had any issues when i take my animals to the Douglas Animal Hospital, the staff are always warm and welcoming when you walk through the door, and the Doctors know what they're talking about, and are very generous with the treats. With their extended hours on Monday and Thursday, it just goes to show their commitment to not only their patient's, but to the people who have to work later hours and can’t pick up their pets between 9 and 5.

Honestly the best vet I have been too the staff genuinely love animals of all shapes and sizes! They will send you a notification when your appointment is usually the day before it happens just as a reminder. You never have to wait long for your appointment as they have a multitude of rooms available for the care of your pet. They have programs available for puppies and kittens to reduce the overall cost of vaccination.

Another excellent experience at the Douglas Animal Hospital! I was running late because of the construction and such in Fredericton, but they were very accommodating. Dr. Bray was a doll as always and is very honest and caring. You don’t have to worry about this clinic running unnecessary tests just to make money off of naive patients here, which is always a concern for me. Very trustworthy and compassionate. My senior dog, senior cat and my two puppies will be life long patients!
