I choose the North Peace Vet Clinic for the very first visit of my puppy that was born in Fort St John. As I live in Vancouver, I had to do the majority of the communication and arrangements over the phone and email. They were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The Vet that took care of her made sure that I was aware and agreed on every step they took. The price is just!!! Thank you everyone that work at the Clinic. I really appreciate your work. 10 stars.

They are the best clinic in this region, bar none. I called them at 2am, terrified for my Miner, and they helped me through the wee hours of the morning until they opened to the public. When we had to make the decision for my precious baby, Miner, to be euthanized for deteriorating health and severe kidney failure, the staff were so, so, so kind and compassionate. They kept us in the loop, and let us hold our precious furbaby in his last moments, whereas other clinics had informed us that their last moments would be spent in a separate room, away from us and to be carted away in a box. They even went as far as to send us a card in the mail, wishing us well. This blew me out of the water, as I have never recieved such wonderful care from people I barely knew. Now, I am bringing all my babies to this clinic. The receptionists are so sweet and kind. The vets are informative and let you know exactly what they're doing, and are so interactive with my babies. You can tell that they are doing this because they love animals, and care for them. I don't know where I would be without this clinic, and I am so relieved that I found them.

I've been taking my dogs here for the past 3 years and they have always been super helpful and reasonable priced. It is a bit weird that the vets are on a rotation like doctors so you may not see the same vet regularly, but all the vets I have worked with have been knowledgeable and competent. One of the vets even gave me grooming and training tips.

I am new to town and had a horrible experience with another vet clinic in Fort St John. My cat was very sick and North Peace answered an emergency call late at night - since then I have felt so comfortable with their service. The Doctor I have been dealing with for my sick pet shows genuine care and consideration. Glad I found them or my pet and I would be having to head back to the Lower Mainland for proper vet care.

Is hands down the best Vet Clinic in Fort St. John. They care about all their patients and even have emergency 24/7 vet service for holiday/weekend emergencies (Absolutely Amazing they saved my dogs life at 3:30 am on a long weekend Sunday morning.) As for the select few who are commenting about having problems with the staff sneaking extra costs in, I have been taking my pets here for over a decade and they have never added any services of any kind without first asking me if i want it and secondly they have always been very up front with me as to whether or not the service in question is necessary or not. They provide the information and ask -Not Tell- you what you would like. Very Professional and very honest.

They are all very friendly and understanding! We switched from rivers not long ago. My dog prefers them, she is usually very scared when we go to the vet, but that's not the case here! I would like to add, they saved my dogs live when rivers didn't have the time!

Due to very poor treatment services at another clinic in FSJ, I was left scrambling to find a Vet Clinic and Doctor who could take my very ill Kitty. Lucky for my sick Kitty, I happened upon North Peace. I am convinced that had I not taken my beloved to this clinic, he would certainly have passed away. Dr. Routley and Dr. North are now my go to Doctors for my Cat and I am so pleased with their level of knowledge, service and compassion. The Doctors kept me informed every step of the way to wellness for my Cat. They answered my questions and did not make me feel like I was wasting their time. Further, the front service staff are bar none, the best. Extremely helpful and as compassionate as the Doctors. Reception staff member Courtney B. always asks me how my Cat (and she remembers his name without prompting) is doing, we then chat about her beautiful Rottweiler. These little things really show me that this clinic is driven by a holistic approach (treat All with respect and dignity; animals and their owners). It is evident to me that the North Peace Medical Director takes their business seriously and have implemented a premium service and treatment methodology that heightens everyone's experience for the good. I have had animals for the past 45 years and can say without reservation that North Peace is the best clinic that I have used.

We have spent a lot of time at NPVC this year. My boy needs his eye pressure tested every few months, and he has been through a skin infection and an ear infection. The staff has been amazing. He's an old dog and has never been good at the vets office, but he has always allowed Dr. Routley to examine him as needed (after he barks at her) which includes her poking his eye for his pressure tests. The Dr and RVTs are so patient with him. I'm very thankful for their level of service and care. I have never felt like I was being pushed for unnecessary services or procedures which I have felt at other offices.
