Great place - always clean, easily accessible, comfortable atmosphere - even my cat isn't too stressed there! Great staff - the staff have always been friendly, explaining things in a compassionate and understandable way, and they always make a point of asking how I am, as well as the other pets, not just focusing on the one that is in the hospital. They really do provide a 'family' feeling. Great care - their exams are thorough, and you are walked through everything that was checked, the good, the bad, and the ugly (when present). They fully explain any recommendations, and provide an estimate up front to help you make fully educated decisions. Their follow-up is amazing, and they use whichever mode is best for you. I have also noticed that I am seldom waiting, nor is there ever any real commotion. I truly respect a location that manages their schedules effectively, as it not only leads to a better experience for the people and pets walking in, but it makes a better environment for the staff. Or maybe they are crazy busy and just really good at hiding it - but either way, I would highly recommend Lakeshore.

Dr. Nabeel Al-Azawi is a caring, compassionate, and extremely thorough vet. He took his time in diagnosing my dog and explained what procedures he was going to perform as well the troubleshooting steps he would take to help my dog. He spoke very highly of his staff and said kind things about their work ethics. He is very affordable and clearly is a person who chose this profession to help people's pets. This vet provides compassionate, high quality animal care at a reasonable cost. A few years ago when he spayed our GSP, she took a longer time to respond as the anesthetic wore off. The vet kept her in his office for the rest of the day so he could continually monitor her status. We also bring our cat to him and his love for animals is very apparent. He never tries to oversell medications but always has the best interest of the pet in mind.

This place is the best, I took my cat to them for the first time but my cat was really sick her kidneys were failing. I communicated with the Dr through text and he let me come in on a saturday and have her put down she is now in a better place. If I ever get another pet this is my vet of choice

Very caring and professional staff! Our dog loves visiting the care team at Lakeshore and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences. They take the time to explain all of our treatment options and make sure we understand the results. We wouldn’t take our girl anywhere else!

Was looking for the perfect vet to see our dieing friend. We want the rest of his time with us to be as comfortable as possible, and am prepared to pay whatever we need to accomplish that. I saw this place had great reviews so I told my husband this is the place I want to go. It is 5 minutes away from where we live. He contacted them with a heartfelt email and they where extremely unsympathetic and unfriendly. It wasn’t about the money for us, we’ll spend anything for our best friend.. but that was certainly their main concern and that makes me sick to my stomach. If you want a vet you can TRUST with your dieing animal, go elsewhere. We couldn’t find one at Lakeshore. Shame on them.

Stay clear of this absolutely awful vet. Incorrect price quotes, poor communication skills, rude and treats you like you're diseased. I'm fully vaccinated and was wearing a mask, and I was forced to sit in a corner and kept being told to stay there and was not allowed to be in the room with my cat. A few years ago he almost killed our dog by over sedating her without weighing her first. I found out later his license was suspended for the exact same reason with another animal. Shame on me for going back with my cat. After I called him out for giving incorrect quotes. He told me to get the F out in front of my 5 year old daughter. I put him in his place and he ran off to the back. Stay far away from this guy. He shouldn't be allowed to practice and I will be contacting the CVO to discuss his ways.

Dr Sarah Saxton and her team are by far the most compassionate people we have ever met. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. The vet is rude and uncooperative. He is lazy and makes his receptionist do EVERYTHING for him while he sits on YouTube. He doesn't have an office that meets the minimum health and safety requirements for vets in Canada. He also has a record. He once had his license suspended for SEDATING AN ANIMAL TO THE POINT OF DEATH. I took my cat for a neuter (easiest damn procedure ever), and he managed to screw it up. (I ONLY took him there because for some damn reason, the SPCA has a deal with him and their adoptees go there for everything they need. (Which I must say, says a lot about the SPCA. I really don't think they should be dealing with him, AND NEITHER SHOULD ANYONE ELSE!!!

Dr. Al-Azawi has been wonderful with my Milo. Milo does not even flinch while examined and immunized. Everything that Dr. has recommended has been effective and completely correct. No complaints. The office, while a work in progress, is, nevertheless, warm and homey and Milo feels comfortable exploring all available nooks and crannies with staff permission. Dr. Nabeel even gave me a ride home (outside of Fort Erie) rather than have me pay for a cab.

We have been taking our dog Hank to Lakeshore Animal hospital for years. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. Sarah is very knowledgeable and kind. She is always willing to take time to explain things, she never speaks in overly medical terms nor does she make you feel unwelcome. She takes time at the beginning of every visit to make sure that Hank is comfortable and that the visit is efficient. It is so important to have a vet that recognizes appointments can be stressful on an animal (and sometimes owner) and that they do everything they can to make things go smoothly. The techs are always welcoming, even when we just stop in for a quick visit for a treat on the way to Lemoine’s Point. It is an owners responsibility to ensure their animals have the best life. Lakeshore Animal hospital and their team are an important part of that for my dog. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. *Not all reviews are made for the benefit of the consumer. Trust the reviews of individuals that are fair and honest. It is easy to leave a bad review, it is easy to be rude to staff, it is easy to blame others or to be a bad pet owner. There are always two sides to every story.

They were totally awesome with my kitten and his first needles and the second time with his rabies shot very kind considerate and gentle. Here's an update on my review since this I have had my one cat neutered and they did a fantastic job no complications after was nice and clean and terrific aftercare highly recommend and they have also taken my second kitten in for an emergency check as we thought he may have gotten into something he shouldn't have and was vomiting and once again they were great understanding caring and was right on top of it because it was an emergency. The Siamese as sassy he's a year-and-a-half and the white one is Angel short for Criss Angel cuz he disappears all the time LOL he's about nine months and also getting ready to go in to be fixed.

Took my dog here for the first 2 years, but after multiple times of them going against our wishes and not listening to our proper care instructions for our pet, we made the choice to leave, and found a much better vet here in town that has a way more friendly and professional environment. When you ask questions, they will talk down to you and belittle your lack of knowledge, and will not actually try to hear what your saying. Glad we only used them for basic tech care so far - our upcoming major surgery for our animal that needed true professionals was booked with a new vet, and made us much more comfortable and treated us with great respect. There's so many vet choices in our area - I suggest finding a business that's more up to date, and has better customer service. The owner "Sarah" is extremely arrogant, demeaning, and lacks the basic skills to care for your animal correctly. When I brought our pet care issue to her attention, she was uncaring, and failed to even hear us out and routinely talked over us to get her point out instead of hearing our concern. After switching to a new vet, we found Lakeshore was overpriced, unconvienient hours, and horrendous customer service.

Our cat Mel was very sick after he swallowed a piece of rubber mat, Dr Nabeel and his staff were excellent throughout this horrible experience. We ended up not having to go through surgery due to Dr Nabeel’s patience and excellent care. He also helped us gain a lot of knowledge with our cat’s dietary issues.

Do not bring your animals here! He lacks compassion and is extremely rude. My 7 month old husky had epilepsy. She had a drastic change in character after have 9 seizures. This idiot said it was a behavioural issue. He threw a blanket over her an pinned her to the ground several time. He snapped his fingers at my partner and told him to pay attention to him and not the dog. We took her to a real vet. As it turns out she was blind and had such sever brain bamage she didn't know where her back legs were. My baby suffered longer than she had to. He also prescribed Valium, which was useless to help any of our issues. And also wanted to prescribe her mood altering drugs. Seriously do not go here.
