Wonderful caring place. I took my little dog here in the middle of the night after he swallowed a foreign body that was causing him distress. Everybody there was amazing and caring with him. They treated him, got the foreign body out, and sent us home with instructions and follow up medication. The price was more than fair, infact it was way less than I expected for a 1am vet visit. I highly recomend them!!

We realized late on Saturday night that our cat wasn't urinating and was in discomfort. After research, we recognized this issue can be fatal if we waited for our regular vet to open on Monday morning. We decided to visit the Fallsview Veterinary Emergency Clinic after comparing their reviews with the other local emergency vet, and we are SO glad we did! The staff was courteous and friendly, and Dr. Adel was very informative and obviously loves what he does. The treatment was surprisingly affordable, especially considering we brought our cat in at 2 a.m. on a weekend! If anyone is in need of emergency care for their animals, please take them here! It is affordable and they do an absolutely fantastic job!

We want to thank Dr Adel and his assistant for the amazing care of our injured cat Opie April 2nd. They were so caring and compassionate and very thorough. Emergency care always costs more that your actual 8 to 5 vet. For the exam, xrays and medication it was comparable to our own vet during regular hours. The facility is amazing. Everything from xrays to lab to a quarantine room. Dr. Adel has obviously put a lot of time, money and love into his practice. I would highly recommend taking your pet in any emergency to the Fallsview Veterinary Emergency Hospital. Thank you.

I brought my daughter's 5 year old male cat in on boxing day because he wouldn't eat, drink, urinate or deficate for 24 hours. The Dr. took an xray and explained that the cat's bladder was fine but he was constipated and needed an anema. He was sent home. Two days later the cat had only got worse. Our vet looked at the xrays taken by this emerg clinic and noticed right away that the bladder was not fine, but was actually far larger than it should be due to crystal blockages and didn't look any better on this emerg clinic's followup xrays. It's so unfortunate that the doctor missed such a critical detail, a detail my regular vet saw within 20 seconds of looking at the xrays. We just put our daughter's 5 year old cat down yesterday at 10:15AM because he refused to eat and drink for over 10 days. The emerg clinic did give me half my bill back but I owe over $1000 to my vet for days of hospitalization. The cat was never the same after leaving the clinic. I completley regret taking him here and I wish he could have received the help he needed when he needed it.

we brought our cat to dr adel on recommendation of a friend. our poor cat had horrible care elsewhere after previous exam and xray and bloodwork. previous vet couldnt even read an xray. dr adel took 10 seconds to read xrays from previous vet hospital and told us our cat had cancer in lungs and could not be saved. we unfortunately had to put her down. dr adel and staff were very compasionate and honest and we'll be recommending fallsview animal hospital to everyone.

To Dr. Adel and the Lovely staff at Fallsview Veterinary Emergency Clinic, I am writing on behalf of myself and Haley to express our gratitude for all that was done for our French bulldog “Stitch.” Our dog Stitch had suddenly become severely ill with no apparent cause. Our poor little man was extremely lethargic, vomiting profusely and was trembling. We, of course, thought the worse and were extremely worried and saddened by this sudden sickness. We rushed Stitch to another local vet as Dr.Adel was in surgery saving another animal’s life and I felt I couldn’t wait. This other clinic left me with a huge bill of over $700, no medication for my pet, no treatment, only x-rays and my dog still vomiting up blood while they asked me for my credit card. It was awful. When they asked me for another huge sum to run another test FVEC called to inform me I could come in. I asked them about the price of the test they were about to perform at the other clinic and it was half with Dr. Adel. After feeling I had not been getting the best treatment for my dog I left that clinic and came to Dr.Adel. Upon arriving at the clinic I was greeted by the kind, smiling faces of Dr. Adel’s assistants. The ladies that work at this office are beyond wonderful. They are compassionate towards both the patients and their human’s. They treated Stitch so lovingly and made him feel calm and comfortable. Dr. Adel came to his aid as soon as he possibly could as he was in surgery just before we had arrived. He quickly diagnosed stitch and provided reassurance that he was going be ok. I felt so much relief after Dr. Adel diagnosed and treated Stitch. Poor little Stitch was still not feeling himself the next morning so all 3 of us ended up back at the clinic. Once again, the ladies greeted us with smiles and compassion, even when they had been working all night long. Dr. Adel once again checked up on Stitch and performed blood tests and analysis which led him to prescribing Stitch some medications. Upon arriving home we saw an immediate difference in Stitch. He was not sick to his stomach after receiving treatment and was starting to act like himself. Stitch is now back on track to being himself and it is all thanks to Dr. Adel and the staff at FVEC. As an aside this was not our first time at this clinic. Not too long ago we rushed our kitten “Digit” to this emergency clinic when he had a terrible experience at a neutering clinic which left his wound open and his little polydactyl paws bleeding. Once again Dr Adel and his staff helped our pet and made us feel sure he was going to be ok and he is a happy cat today. There is no vet with fairer prices or more love for what they do than this man and his staff that I have ever found. If at all possible, bring your pet to this Doctor if you ever need an ER vet.

Took my pekingese pup in because he was having pain issues. Dr Adel drained his infected anal glands, gave him pain meds and antibiotics all in about an hour at 930pm on a Friday night! He only charged us $180 which is about what I'd have paid at my reg vet during reg hours! He was so pleasant and sweet I even hugged him to thank him!!! I wish I could have him as my reg vet!!! Truly recommend this place, the whole staff was amazing!!!

Over the past 14 years I have cared for 4 dogs. All 4 have had the privilege of being patients of Dr. Adel and his team. They are incredible and have been so kind and patient with all of our dogs (and us)! We met Dr. Adel a few years ago when Fallsview was an after hours clinic. One of my dogs had an emergency and Dr. Adel saved his life. As soon as Fallsview became a daytime vet a few years ago, we transferred. By far, Dr. Adel is the best vet I've ever been to. We are so thankful for everyone at Fallsview. I highly recommend them.

We had to bring our dog to the vet on a Saturday night during the long weekend due an issue with his leg. Fallsview emergency was the only one open and we were hesitant as to whether or not we should go and be charged an arm and a leg, but the experience was just wonderful! The staff is extremely caring and kind. Dr Adel is extremely fair with his pricing $90 which is what most charge anyways for Mon-Fri/9A-5P. He was honest in what would work the best and most cost effective and saved us thousand on a surgery that wasn’t necessary. He also offered up a complimentary follow up appt if needed and said to call if we had any questions - we didn’t! Believe all these 5 star reviews, you won’t regret it. Before us was a family that unfortunately had to put their dog own, he was just so sincere and compassionate. Not once did he rush the family out because he had other patients waiting but allowed them to take their time and have the room to themselves. This clinic has a wall and photobook(s) just filled with “thank you” cards from patients that came in for something small to those who had to put their pet down - if this doesn’t say something about what kind of a business they are running, I’m not sure what does.

Dr.Adel and his tech (sorry I didn't get your name :( ) were super friendly and very accommodating. They took my dog in last minute to fix a split nail and kept the clinic open an extra hour for her. Melly is recovering just fine a few hours after having her little procedure and is snoozing away with her cone on and bandaged paw. I felt welcomed and would definitely bring Melly back here if I needed to as they took the time to explain everything and anything, answered my questions without rushing, and honestly felt like they cared a lot about my dog even though we had just met.

Absolutely lovely staff and such a wonderful veterinarian. Our kitten was refusing to eat and lethargic. The vet diagnosed him right away and started treatment. He didn't do well with pills so we Brought him back for a follow up and after another shot of antibiotics he is starting to feel better. Two more visits for more antibiotics and he should be back to his normal happy self. Dr.Adele has been amazing in explaining everything and keeping spirits high. Pricing is incredibly reasonable as well.

Our cute Moussetache had hip issues. Brought her to our (old) vet and they didn't seem to care. We called the amazing Dr Adel and she was in for surgery in a flash and now recovering. Worst experience you could possibly have with a vet. On Monday I made a 2pm appt to have my dog checked and most likely euthanized. I called 1:59pm Tuesday to say I was arriving. They asked what car I was in and my appt name. I was told covid protocol was to call upon arrival. The parking lot was packed and they were clearly backed up. I sat in the parking lot directly in front of the door for 40 minutes. Finally I was approached and told they had to record of my appt. So I sat with my grieving mother with her dog who should have been put down for 40 minutes and then was told we could not been seen. Never have a had a worse experience with any business, let alone one where such an emotional situation was involved. Blatantly inexcusable.

Clean, educated, friendly, fairly priced and honest. First off, they have the machine in the clinic so you get your blood work results here within 10ish minutes!! This was easily the best experience I have ever had at a vet clinic. Thank goodness they are open on a Saturday, we brought our cat in after he digested a poisonous plant and Dr. Adel proved himself to be kind, welcoming, educated and practical. He does a fabulous job of taking confusing medical information and explaining it in a way that was easy for us to understand. He gave us a quick tour of the entire clinic so we could see how clean and organized his surgery room and facilities were. The lady working with him today was very intelligent and welcoming. We came in for an emergency but will be using this vet as our regular for both our dog and cat from now on. I cannot recommend them enough!!

Brought one of my pets in last night, after he was having a tough time eating. Wasn't really expecting anything more than a "by the numbers, for profit, in and out" veterinary experience. Boy, was I wrong. The vet tech that greeted us as we walked in the door was friendly, but immediately got to the heart of the matter. While doing the routine paperwork stuff, she was asking about the animal's medical history, brought us into the room and began to interact with him. There was no forced levity, this young woman took great care in her work, doing everything she could to make sure all parties involved were comfortable and content. The routine medical exam, despite mild invasiveness to my cat was quick and calm and his demeanor reflected that. The doctor came in shortly after that, advised me up front what procedures would be done (and the cost) and set about to working. This isn't a vet that's about money, there's a genuine love of animals in his work. All tests were done on site, so rather than a 24-48 hr waiting period, we knew in about 15 minutes, during which the vet or one of his techs was in the room with us. When the results came in, he walked us through potential causes for our kitties ailments and reassured us that while yes there was a health issue, it was treatable and we could get our friend back into tip top shape, in short order. He also walked us through a more efficient way of assisted feeding our cat until he starts eating on his own again. And when we left at the end of the evening after a few hours we all felt better. As for the cost, considering the hour, on a weekend, the blood tests, x-rays and everything else that was run, plus the treatment plan and followup I was expecting to pay upwards of $1000 or more and it was CONSIDERABLY less than that. In fact it was down right reasonable. I almost turned around and asked them if they forgot to charge me for something. This was easily among the best experiences I have ever had with a veterinarian and will always, ALWAYS recommend this place and the wonderful staff to friends, family, strangers, everyone and anyone. Thanks again

Nothing against the staff personally or Dr Adel, but I expected better. My dog was refusing to eat/drink water and was extremely sick, made an appointment to have blood work done so we could get to the bottom of why my dog was on deaths door. We made an appointment, and just 20-30 mins later I was told to bring him somewhere else because another emergency came in and he was no longer available. I was lucky to find somebody who could see him that same afternoon, because he was on deaths door and needed an IV/testing done. He’s a very nice doctor but because his office USED to be an emergency clinic, he’ll drop everything to see an emergency first no matter how sick the others are. Nothing against him, but I wish it was made more clear to me that if I was signing up with him, that I wouldn’t be able to trust him to be there for my baby when he needed care the most. If he survives, we’ll take him to another vet.

I had a recent bad experience with my previous vet and was referred to Fallsview Veterinary Clinic by a friend. The receptionist/vet tech was very kind on the phone and they were able to accommodate the time I requested which was after my working hours quite quickly. I wanted to meet the doctor and team before making any final decisions about switching vets, I made a meet/greet type of appointment with an exam to check a skin issue. Unfortunately my experience with fallsview veterinary clinic was a sad one. Wasn't sure how to review a place that was a God send when I needed it. My dog was in a very bad way and my regular veterinarian was unavailable. The Dr and staff here went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible to help me say goodbye to my companion. Not an experience I want to ever have again but if it is needed they are the place to go. Although cost isnt really a priority when you need this kind of help, I must admit that they were beyond reasonable.

Wonderful Doctor and Staff! This is the second time I have needed to use this emergency clinic for my dogs. My dog is special needs and he is fully blind with cleft lip. So I am very hesitant to leave him anywhere that I am not. From the time I walked through the door I had complete trust in Dr. Adel and his team. They diagnosed an intestinal blockage very quickly. I had to leave him overnight for surgery. They followed up with me promptly with Dr. Adel calling me personally to let me know Ashton made it out of surgery and was doing well. He ended up having a large piece of bone stuck in his intestine. The vet techs were all very lovely and friendly. I could tell everyone who worked there had a real love of animals. The price was also fair probably similar to what I would have paid at my own vet during regular hours. I can tell Dr. Adel is a very compassionate man who really cares about your animals well being. I would not hesitate to use this clinic again if need be. Thank you Dr. Adel and team for saving my pup!

Took in a stray cat with a runny eye and had one vet tell me it was an overactive tear duct and just keep washing it. After a year it got worse and Dr. Adel found it was an abscessed tooth. AMAZING TEAM !!!! Incredible experience twice !!!!!!! Had my first visit back to June 2018. My dog was attacked by another dog and I was desperate. Dr. Adel was really patient with my dog and explained what he is going to do. I can tell right away, he is compassionate about my feeling at the moment. Second time, My dog was vomiting the day before and we went to our regular vets did blood test and got treatments. Then, they provided two medications for my dog. Late in the day, my dog start to shaking and can't even walk and no appetite at all. With her case, there is no way I can give her any medications. So, I went to Dr. Adel and his team again. They read all the results from my regular vet and diagnosed my dog immediately. Then, provided effective treatment plan right away. Also, Dr. Adel cleanly explained what's wrong and what they are going to try on her (with my dog's existing issues). In addition, the team kept my dog over night just to monitor how she is doing with all her treatments. This morning when I saw my baby ..... I can't stop crying because I can tell she is back, she was eating normal and trying to jump on us. Dr. Adel and his team are extremely patient. Then, Dr. Adel explained what they did and what we should do in next couple weeks. Now, my dog is walking like nothing happened before. Also, I can tell they are so passionate about their career, that is not just a job that's a career to them. The wonderful lady (I am so sorry, I didn't ask your name) spent almost entire night with my dog in the care unit, just to keep her a company because she compassionate care about my dog and they totally understand how scary my dog was to be there alone without us. Our small dog, Charlied, was attacked by Coyotes on January 27th and suffered many life threatening injuries. Dr. Adel and Sylvana stayed long past their normal quitting time to perform the surgery that saved Charlie's life. Daily follow-up visits were required, at no extra cost, for over a week to treat infection. We can't say enough about the expert, compassionate care Charlie received at Fallsview Veterinary Emergency Clinic, and the cost was affordable! Charlie is now well on his way to a full recovery thanks to Dr. Adel and his wonderful staff.

Dr. Adel and his staff are always friendly and compassionate. We had been to several vets in town before we found Fallsview and now we won’t go anywhere else. This is the easiest place to get last minute/Emergency appointments and it has the best prices around. Even with their great prices, Dr. Adel always tries save you money on medications too. My two dogs Dash and Riot are not very well behaved so the fallsview staff are always ready to accommodate us and have lots of treats ready 10/10 service from all the staff, I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their pets

This is a lengthy description of my experience with Dr. Adel. Started positive, ended very negative. First, we had a great relationship. He seemed to be a very honest vet and we had great experiences with him and his staff. Desiree at the front desk was always very polite and a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Adel performed a surgery on my 11 year old male and did a great job. We have taken all 3 of our dogs there, and he knew we were breeding our 2 Presa's. Fast forward 2 months later, I spoke to him about performing a hip X-ray for my female to make sure she has good hips for breeding, I explained to him I need good shots as I will be posting these X-rays on my site, social media and for clients. He performed the X-ray, Upon picking up my female from the X-ray, he explained the hips were good and he had no concerns. However, when I got the X-rays back home I realized the positioning was off, resulting in a X-ray that is not OFA standard, meaning I could not post these or show them as the pelvis was not centered and the knees and legs not fully straight as they should be. I expressed through email my concern with the X-ray in hopes of Dr. Adel redoing them. Instead I was told to pick up my refund and not to return as a client. Now I was very straight forward with Mr. Adel from the beginning. He knew I was breeding and that these X-rays were very important to my program. Instead of mentioning to me that I should go elsewhere for a proper X-ray that he could not perform, he did the X-ray and seemed to be so offended that I called him out on the bad positioning that he dropped me as a client. NOW LET ME BE CLEAR, he admitted the positioning was off, refunded the money and told his staff not to have us return. I sent my breeder in Europe (who is a big show time breeder with world winning champions) he saw the X-ray and said 'wow, your dog was sedated and THAT is the shot they took? Thats horrible get it redone'. NOW WHAT IS WORSE, is my one dog is in the MIDDLE OF A DIAGNOSIS FROM HIM, HE IS ON MEDICATION SO HIS TREATMENT IS NOT YET COMPLETE, and he has dropped us in the middle of treatment!!! when it is hard to even get a vet these days with the covid crisis. To think I was actually going to get him and his staff a gift card to say thank you for how well we have been treated, but DONT EVER CRITIC OR ASK QUESTIONS HE WILL GET OFFENDED AND REFUSE TO COMPLETE SERVICE! Now while my one dog is in the middle of treatment I have to go find another vet as Dr. Adel has dropped us in the middle of a big diagnosis that should be taken seriously. but Dr. Adel is too childish and immature to respond to me directly. He was very short with his staff about not having us return. Overall I am so dissappointed with what could have been a very good relationship. Don't ever point his mistakes or question him, he will drop you, which might I add is a horrible trait for any vet, every person who takes pride and care of their pets, they will ask questions and a PROFESSIONAL VET would be ok with that. Dr Adel is NOT PROFESSIONAL.

So instead of dealing with the matter he chose to just drop me as a client in the middle of treating my dog. Smh..

My 3 month old puppy hurt his leg on the Sunday of the long weekend and needed veterinary care. I couldn't have been more impressed with the care and compassion we received! Then I got the bill and was totally blown away!!! This is the first emergency veterinary hospital I have been to that keeps their prices affordable not hugely inflated because they are an emergency clinic. Can't recommend a better veterinary emergency clinic in Niagara!!!

We're new to the area and our older cat had an ear infection. Got an appointment and care quickly including a no charge follow up visit. It was recommended to have some dental work done and we had to rebook due to covid finances. Desiree is always wonderful to deal with, rebooked us with no issue and was very thorough on pick up for after surgery care. Cost was reasonable and exactly what we were expecting, no surprises.

I would say the best vet in the region. They actually care about animals. Firstly they diagnosed kennel cough for my k9 and gave priscription which worked magic and she was healthy in less than a week, secondly Dr adel wrote a priscription for a skin rash which is working very well also allowed me to get a heartworm test in the same appointment for the convenience which is greatly appreciated. Then my last visit was for my k9's anal gland irritation which causes scooting, excessive licking etc. Dr Adel did a thorough checkup and I am glad found nothing for which they never charged a $ and assured me by giving some remedies what would make the irritation go. Definitely they care more for animals than ripping customers of like any other big veterinary clinic in the city.

This vet just goes above and beyond. We came in after 10 pm, our corgi was having an allergic reaction (swollen and puffy eyes and snout). The vet tech was amazing with her, and the vet clearly explained everything we needed to know about what happened with her, how to help her next time and gave her a steriod shot, ect. We also got a flea and tic treatment while we were there all for under $200. (VERY good pricing) As were were heading out our truck wouldn't turn over and the vet went out of his way to jump us at 11 pm. We will be returning and transferring our pets to this clinic. Will recommend to everyone. You can tell this vet really cares about his pet patients, as well as their owners. 11/10

Wow! Friendly. Helpful. Dr. Adel spent an hour with us. Very thorough. He isn't pushy and does not make you feel like you are a bad owner if you don't want to do expensive testing. He went out of his way to call pharmacies for us to help us find what we needed. Very reasonable pricing; even more reasonable than our actual vet. Highly recommended. Thank-you!!!

I can't express how amazing this emergency vet clinic is! From the moment you walk in to the time you are leaving, Dr.Adel and staff (Alisha during our visit) were so kind, genuine and knowledgeable! Dr. Adel's "bedside " manners were impeccable! He could have ran a multitude of tests and charged me a small fortune, but was certain that my kitty (Bootsy) would be just fine with the meds he prescribed! Indeed!!! We brought our Standard Poodle Sandy here at 4 am on Aug. 26. The vet tech immediately got Dr. Adele and he recognized the symptoms as a twisted stomach. He immediately prepped her for surgery to fix the issue. If we had not brought her here she would have soon been dead. Dr. Adele was Fantastic and so was Laura. Thanks so much for taking Great Care of Sandy for us. We made it all the way home to Va. USA the following day after her surgery.
