I had been going to Bridgeview animal hospital since 2017 and because my financial situation changed I was shopping around for another veterinarian and I told them I was changing vets, however I made an appointment on a Monday for the upcoming Thursday. They decided to phone me Thursday morning at approximately 9:30 a.m., the day of my appointment and told me they no longer will accept me as a patient because I was contemplating switching vets. I know that this decision wasn't made by the front office staff but rather it was made by Dr Paul the vet. He is very unprofessional. I have recommended friends go there, and now I'm sorry I have. I know at least one other person that is leaving bridgeview animal hospital. Dr Paul is very unprofessional and at times has been very rude. To the front office staff you've always been great with me thank you so much.

My wife and I brought our Basset hound Marley to Dr. Paul from the time she was a puppy up to her passing this May from cancer. Throughout her fight with Cancer Dr. Paul was attentive, compassionate, and we couldn't have asked for a better Doctor for Marley. Dr. Paul genuinely cares about his patients, and when the time is right for us to have another dog we won't think twice about trusting him and his staff again!

Yet another vet who charges an arm and a leg and provides misleading prices. A poop test that took one minute cost $30 ??? Same drugs from Amazon are 3 times the price.

We have recently had our 8 year old lab Molly in to have a very large lipoma removed from her belly. The operation was successful however due to the unexpected size of the tumour her recovery was a bit more than expected. The staff at Bridgeview have been very attentive and helpful with Molly’s recovery. We cannot express how grateful we are for Dr. Paul. He has gone out of his way to be so helpful and compassionate with Molly’s care before and after surgery. He’s extremely knowledgeable and caring, even calling a couple days after her surgery to make sure she was ok, saying he was thinking of her all weekend. We would recommend Bridgeview to anyone looking for someone to take great care of their dogs or cats. Again a huge thank you to Dr. Paul and all the caring staff at Bridgeview.

We brought our dog in for a dental surgery/cleaning. She had a broken tooth that split all the way down. The quote they gave us was very reasonable, it included the sedation, cleaning, extraction, pain meds, and antibiotics. The drop off in the morning went very smoothly. The doctor was on time to take us in for the pre-op consultation. Dr. Paul is very soft spoken, kind and very knowledgeable. He was very gentle with our sweet girl. After we left, everything went according to the timeframe he gave us. They sedated her first, did the cleaning and surgery started at 12pm. Our baby was already awake from sedation at 2pm. We went at 4:30pm to pick her up. When we went to pay for everything, it was exactly what they quoted us, no hidden fees or anything. Met up with Dr. Paul again to go over post-op care. Again, he was very thorough with everything. Aside from being drowsy, our dog did not show any signs of distress even though she just went through surgery. The Bridgeview team is amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of our sweet girl!

They truly care about the health of you animals than they do anything else and always go above and beyond.

I bring my dog here and the staff are amazing. My dog started with Dr. Paul and was with him for a long time. He was always knowledgeable and gave lots of options without making me feel pressured one way or another. Dr. Jordan started getting scheduled with me for the past while and she is fantastic as well. I feel confident in her decisions and she's a very friendly and sociable person. Unfortunately, Dr. Jordan left the clinic, but I was really appreciative of the honesty that she always gave me. Since Dr. Jordan left, I am back with Dr. Paul and I'm still as happy to be at this vet. Dr. Paul is great at answering questions with honesty and with the pet's best interest in mind. He doesn't beat around the bush with his answers, and will tell you upfront what he expects any issues will be and the potential treatment options. I now have a second dog, and he always asks about my first dog as well and how they're both doing and how they are together. He and Dr. Jordan were great when I got the new puppy and gave me information about what they thought of introducing a puppy to a senior dog. The support staff have always been nothing but friendly and are always so excited to see my dog. I'm not good at names (I'm so sorry!!) but I haven't had a bad experience with a single one of them. They really seem to hire well. They have always offered to bring my dog's giant bag of food out and have been sociable, outgoing, and humourous. They go out of their way for you and are great at their jobs. I always recommend Bridgeview when customers at my job tell me they are thinking of switching vets, or that they need one. Haven't heard negative things from anyone.

My go to animal needs location, they have great knowledge and can give sound advice with regards to animal diet and healthcare. They even offer bags of various kinds of kibble for cats and dogs. Lovely service!

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but I feel like it is necessary in this case since the lives of pets could be at stake, and I have strong adverse feelings about this clinic. I felt like the attending vet (Dr. Paul) would not fully listen to my concerns and would cut me off. He kept making conclusions without really knowing me nor my pet. I agree with the other reviews saying that he just kept selling services and medication, and it appears that his main priority is to get money for his business. He kept misdiagnosing and prescribing medicine and procedures my pet does not need. I felt coerced to buy from him, and when I refused to purchase prescription food once my pet was better, he threatened me saying that now, he could blame me if anything happened to my pet. I can’t believe he had the audacity to say that as I obviously have my pet’s best interest in mind. It’s sad that I have to transfer clinics, because I really loved the previous vet attending to us (Dr. Laura), but unfortunately, she is not around at the moment. Please avoid this vet; it’s rated lower than the other vets in the area for a reason.

We have been seeing Dr. Paul and his staff for nearly 4 years. From the very first few visits it was apparent just how much he truly cares for each animal in his care (and their owners). We went to Dr. Paul with our puppy who had a variety of issues that our first vet was unable to solve. Dr. Paul quickly came up with a course of action for diagnosing and treating our new family member. Over the years he has continually shown his expertise and love of animals at every visit. I really can't begin to convey how amazing he and the staff at Bridgeview are and the appreciation we have for each of them. A++

Bridgeview is like family to us. The staff is amazing with their love and devotion to their clients. They cared for my little chihuahua for several years through some very challenging times and they never wavered from giving him patience, love and excellent care. My little guy thought of himself as king of the kingdom and behaved accordingly. The wonderful staff just took it all in stride. Dr Paul is the best. He truly loves friends and is so gentle with them. With Ricki's passing, the staff was so kind. When I opened the box containing Ricki, I was so touched by a lasting imprint ornament of his little paw. Thank you all at Bridgeview. .

We met Dr Paul and staff this week and we have had 2 visits so far. We look forward to a long relationship with this Vet! He looked after our 12 week old puppy at the beginning of the week. Excellent service and extremely informative and kind. We went for another dog our pregnant female today. Dr Paul called us the last 2 days to see how our dog was doing! That was so unexpected and immediately I knew we found a great Vet! She had to have csection. The incision is so small, hardly noticeable and the surgery was quick. The after care was perfection! We have been bringing our animals to bridgeview for over 20 years, I’ll never be bringing any of my animals back here again !! Dr wrongly diagnosed my cat with mild upper respiratory infection never even check his heart when we went in. We ended up taking him to an emerg vet where that vet said the cats lungs were fine he had something trapped in his stomach. We spent so much $$$$ trying to save him :(

Wanted to have my cat weighed and givin some worm meds. Told me they don't sell it over the counter. And that he needed to be tested. The people at another vet did what I asked and now my cats worm free. I'm assuming they wanted me to come in so they could hustle me services I don't need. Never heard good things about this location.
