My dog Charlee had his leg hurting real bad and they took care of everything! This vet gets the job done. Charlee went from limping on one leg and after a few weeks we got him back up and walking regularly! Very kind front receptionist (Ajay) is great at answering all my questions. the woman in charge of the front desk is really rude and mean. she believes she knows it all and makes you feel horrible if u didnt know something. she doesn't like people much at all from the way she acts. they only have one room so ur waiting there forever to see the doctor. there is never any parking available. i do not like that place and i wouldn't recommend it to NO ONE! im glad i took my animals to another place .. they are better off. !!

I’ve been taking my dog here for grooming for a few years and they’re good with the grooming. They always follow our request and it’s an easy process. Had a bit of trouble with my female puppy when she had to get her second shots and microchips. They told me they gave her rabies shots when they didn’t. Also charged ridiculous amount for rabies shot when it’s normally like 25$... they charged me nearly 100$. Theyre always messing up my forms. Writing this review to get a discount on my puppy’s spaying and when I got there they made me sign papers only to call me back saying they forgot to make me sign another. Very unorganized.

Horrible, they NEVER diagnosed my dog properly. All they do is tell me it could be this or could be that make me pay for a bunch of Medicine that "should" work and I never get any results, DO NOT GO HERE. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET GO ELSEWHERE. Dr Bhullar cannot be trusted, he will try to push a product on you for everything and anything. They don't want to help animals, they just want you to pay them and get out. Most of their "examinations" consist of just looking at the dog, then they probably say to themselves. "we can get away with selling em this" disgrace to the whole practice this place is.

I highly recommend Rexdale Animal Hospital. We have a new puppy and this has been our 4th visit there. We were a bit nervous at first because aren’t able to be with our puppy during his appointments (possibly due to Covid) but we trust and believe that the staff and doctor treats him very well there as every time we go there he is always so happy and excited to go inside. The staff and doctors are super professional and friendly with us as well. They are very organized, very helpful over the phone, even the doctor which have not been able to meet - has been extremely helpful over the phone and patiently answer our questions and concerns. For pick ups and drops off - the doors remain locked, so maybe it would be more helpful to have a doorbell to alert the staffs as sometimes when calling the staffs to let them know we are here, the lines are busy or they are currently assisting someone else. Nonetheless they are very great team. We just took our puppy to get neutered and ensure to provide us with detailed pre-operation information and post-operation care. They even trimmed are pups nails for us for free which we are grateful for. Thank you Rexdale Animal Hospital !

Worst Vet I brought my dog to , moved to the area 2 years ago and my old vet was alittle to far to bring my baby so I brought him to here and he only Lasted two months, didn’t bother with moving on treatment, every time I brought him there it was just medication to give him no exam nothing, got him cremated when they received him back they didn’t even called, I had to call to see if he was there and I got the responses of “ of no one called you?”. Worst vet ever, definitely not bringing my future pets there ever. I rather travel the hour down to my old area to get the proper exam and treatment for my pets.

Terrible service, my kitten died after being rushed to the animal hospital spend $420, they never cared to help just wanted my money. I was short on $100 and ask to let my sick cat stay the night and bring the money tomorrow morning and they denied just because I was short on cash. Do NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!! This clinic does not care about the animals well being and will be a waste of your time and money!

I've been visiting this vet for a couple of years now for my Yorkie, Molly. Great and friendly staff along with a very knowledgeable Dr Bhullar. Molly has had several problems over the years from needing surgery to remove a benign tumor to dental work along side with regular vaccinations. The process has always been easy and fast and has always helped Molly herself. I appreciate the care that we received and have and would continue to recommend this clinic to my friends.

We’ve been taking our 9 year old beagle to Rexdale Animal Hospital since she was a puppy. The staff at Rexdale Animal Hospital are so pleasant to talk to and have always taken great care of our dog. Anytime we bring her in, we know she’s in good hands. They are very good at giving us advice and providing us with the information we need in order to make informed decisions when it comes to our dog. An added plus is this animal hospital is reasonably priced considering it’s in Toronto. Overall, I highly recommend Rexdale Animal Hospital for all your pet care needs. My experience with the business located on Albion Rd. is from Covid era, so I never been inside. My interaction with them was at their door or by phone, but they made a good impresion. I've been there with my kitten for regular vaccination, but also when it was sick. The doctor and the staff were nice, friendly, and took good care of my kitten. I appreciated when I saw the staff taking their time to explain different things to me or to answer my questions even when it was cold, raining or snowing. They had to come outside for picking up or returning the cat, for colecting the payment, or bringing the medicins. They always been nice and atentive. The doctor took time to speak to me over the phone when it was needed. It seams to be a nice person and good professional. Overall I had a good experience with the staff. I could give max score if I would ever been inside to see how the clinic looks like, how clean it is, and how attentive are they with the animals. My kitten did not seeam too stressed after our visits to the clinic. Even when it was necessary to have blood work done, and treatment administrested he was fine and more important he got healty in no time.

This clinic is the best clinic I have ever taken my cats too the team is very helpful and so nice unfortunately my cat had a lump and wasn’t doing too well with old age and we lost her shortly after her procedure and the team wrote me a card in honour of Bella which made me cry. I know this team truly cares about animals they called me to see how Bella was doing and to check on my other cat after a procedure and no other vets did this for me so thank you guys for caring ????

I've been taking my dog here for five years, and Dr. B along with his very capable staff have always treated us like family at the clinic. The going rates for procedures are very reasonable, and the doctors never recommend anything unless they believe it can truly help your pet. Dr. B is an amazing doctor. When he did my German Shepard's neutering, it healed in less than a week! Highly recommend taking your pets here, the staff are friendly and truly care about the animals under their care.

I just recently got a new puppy and she means the world to me, so naturally I was nervous about who I would trust to take care of her health. I looked up a lot of different places and called all of them to learn about how much they would charge and what they would provide on her 2 vet visit ever! I feel like I'm a very doting, dog mom...when I called Rexdale Animal Hospital, the receptionist was so friendly and took her time to explain what shots they would recommend, and any tests and treatments that may be suitable for her as well as the charges. The visit was super efficient and I had a chat with the vet on the phone where he answered all my questions and my puppy was so happy with them that they gave her a baggy of treats to take home. Honestly, as a new dog mom this was the best experience I can ask for and I'm so happy I found such a great vet!

The people here are rude. I took my dog here a few years ago and paid $1200 for her operation. They asked me if I wanted her to have IV after the operation and I said no and that I would take her home. The woman on the phone then said "Oh well, if she dies, it's not our fault" not sure why she would use those exact words, but there's no sympathy at all at this place. My dog was getting her leg stitched and they made it seem like she was going to die. Ridiculous. All they want is your money. My dog ended up recovering just fine without the IV. Take your pets somewhere where the staff actually cares.

Have been attending this vet for my dog Apple since we got her 8 years ago. We then got a 2nd pet Daisy and then a 3rd Molly. Thankfully all 3 of our dogs have been great pets and blessed not to be sick. Apple and Daisy are both Yorkies so they are on the smaller side but Molly is a GSD. This pass week Daisy took ill and we were unsure of what was going on. After a X-ray, blood work the dr said she had an enlarged kidney as well as her uterus had an infection. Obviously this was hard to hear BUT dr B assured us that with meds and leaving her daily for 2 days it could be corrected. I know I make this sound easy but it wasn’t. He worked his Dr magic and I had trust he would do what was beat. After all daisy only weighs a few pounds. Thankfully Friday I picked her up and she has started eating and is becoming her crazy Daisy self again. I Do 100% support and stand with this veterinarian. Amazing staff as well. My advice would be if you ever have an issue SPEAK with Dr. B or his staff. They are there to help you and your pet.

We have been taking our dog to Rexdale Animal Hospital since 2009. Dr. Bhullar saved our dog's life. We rescued our dog from the US and although she was heart worm negative before she crossed into Canada, it developed shortly after. Our dog, sad to say, has the distinction of being the first dog Dr. Bhullar treated for heart worm. Dr. Bhullar went above and beyond and liaised with the Veterinary College in Guelph to make sure our dog received the treatment she needed. I cannot thank him enough. I wouldn't think of taking our dog anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Bhullar. Words do not do justice for how much we appreciate you!

Rexdale Animal Hospital was the only clinic that pick up the phone in time manner, and answer my questions despite I wasn't there client yet. For a first pet owner I feel that I found the vet that will take good care of my lovely dog. I`ve been taking my cats to Rexdale Animal Hospital since 2013, when I moved to the area. The staff are very friendly, and they are kind to my cats. Whenever I take my cat in for a visit, they provide me with all the necessary information, they never try to rush me and are always very patient. When it was time to euthanize my 17 year old cat, they were so kind. They let me stay with her for as long as I needed before and afterwards. I also notice that my cats have never had the usual anxiety with a trip to the Rexdale Animal Hospital, which clearly indicates that they are kind and friendly to my cat behind closed doors, and not only in the reception area. Their prices are fair and they even provide you with contact information for an after hours clinic in case of emergencies after hours. I am very pleased with them and will continue taking all of my pets there.

Do NOT take your pets to this clinic. I have had dogs for as long as I can remember and have never been to a more horrendous clinic than this. Completely unprofessional staff who have no business even being in the veterinary field. They take your dog (alone) to the back for simple blood tests. Refuse to let you accompany your dog-no idea why nor have I experienced this at any other clinic. Staff constantly push products/medication on you--sales seem to be their goal rather than the health/care of animals. Julie Bellino (office manager/vet tech) is absolutely by far, the worst person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She screams at clients, threatens to withhold test results and is all round extremely arrogant, rude & brutish. The sad part is....the clinic owner takes pride in this behaviour. Her profile on the clinic website speaks for itself. How any vet could knowingly allow that to be published is beyond me. A quick google search will show more customer complaints/concerns. I only wish I had read them prior to taking my pet there. Never ever again. Save your pets life and take it to a more caring genuine vet clinic with educated compassionate staff.

I was looking for a new vet clinic in the area for my 10-year old dog and my neighbour had recommended Rexdale Animal Hospital. I took my little Malti-pom for a physical exam, his annual vaccinations, and to also inquire about his dental health. The front staff was super helpful, friendly and answered all my initial questions. I had a good feeling right off the bat! The vet was really thorough and professional. I left feeling informed and not pressured into anything unnecessary and costly for our dog. A huge plus was that the pricing was very fair and reasonable. You cannot say that about most clinics! Very happy to have found Rexdale Animal Hospital and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new vet.

I'm very desapointed with this doctor, first prices are so much and he doesn't even care about the animals, my baby dog that she pass away two weeks ago, she was sick for two years, she had a rough caugh and artitris, this doctor said because she is old they can't do anything about it and every appointment the prices was so high, and my dog live with my mother, I decide to bring a puppy chihuahua from back home, so I decide to change from doctor, I took my puppy to Rexdale and Kipling animals veterinary, the services was great and prices too, I told my mother to take my old baby dog to this doctor maybe he can help her with the caught, so she decide to take her and guess what, Doctor white give her medication and for the artritis too he give her, my baby dog was better walked and her caught was much better even I saw her face how much different big change very happy, and price was very fair and lower, after a year, because my baby dog was too old she decide to leave us, very sad moment, I call Dr. White that I need to put my baby dog down she was suffering, Dr. White was very busy at that moment with surgery, so I call Albion and Islington Dr. And I ask for prices how much for putting her down and get back the ash, he said 487 it was ridiculous then I decide to call back Dr. White and ask for price too, he said 160 so I took baby dog again to doctor white, I'm so great full with doctor White, this Doctor in Albion he is stealing he doesn't even care about the animals.

This place is horrible the receptionist is beyond rude just like the reviews say and it's funny that the same receptionist Julie is the one writing the review saying it's a good hospital! Everything is done in the back (so sketchy) one of the horrific incidents my dog got a nail trim and I noticed she was walking funny as if her paws hurt when I looked my dogs nails were cut all the way to the nerve I seen her quick on almsot all her nails which leads me to believe they cut it with no care and just placed septic powder to stop the bleeding no compassion that was what pushed me over the limit if a simple nail trim was done with no compassion what else do they do! Horrible never again dont bring your pets here! Not to mention completely over priced! They're all about the money.

PLEASE, PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET! I took my dog for spayed and at same time clean her teeth while under the anesthesia and when went to pick her up, I was shocked what this dr. did to my poor dog. He did a full extraction of her teeth without my permission, claiming that her teeth were all bad. Now imagine your dog without a single teeth! From the staff to the dr., everyone is rude, show no love or compassion for the animals. Really this place is a butcher shop!

He won't recommend anything that won't help his patients. For everything he knew would help, his staff has always called and requested my consent. Best vet experience yet! I brought in my new dog Harley in for a check up and i was able to get a timely appointment. None only did i get a clean bit of health but i got the sense the this vet isn’t just trying to overcharge me with unnecessary tests like most vets do. the "mean" receptionist you are all referring to does not work there any longer. That being said, i never once had an issue with her myself. She was passionate about the animals and took her job seriously. I have been coming here for over 8yrs with my dog and they have been nothing but friendly, hospitable, professional and more than happy to help me with my dog. Both doctors are amazing and always go over and beyond to ensure my dog's well being. They even call me from home after hours to check up on my problematic boxer. I have NEVER had a problem with this place once in 8yrs and counting. The vet assistant's AND receptionists are very pleasant and accommodating, i not only respect the work they do, i think they all work really well as a team. These people are a family, and everyone is treated like that. I am happy to call them friends and i guess family too!

The groomer is terrible- she was supposed to give my cat a lion cut, so she shaved off all his fur... except she did such a bad job that his fur is now uneven & there's pink marks all over his stomach. She also cut his whiskers. Worst of all, she refused to admit her mistake, claiming that "its not a big deal". the owner of the clinic did not apologize either, and instead offered me cat food to make up for the groomer's lack of qualification. My advice: don't go to this clinic. Waste of time and money.

My father and I have been bringing our dog here for years to get groomed and check ups. I came here a few days ago in a panic because my dog had consumed a small portion of rat poison. My boyfriend and I picked up our little Goldendoodle, Peaches, back in June and were in need of a vet close to home. Rexdale Animal Hospital couldn't be any close and the staff couldn't be any more friendly! We wanted to get her registered and when I called someone was able to answer all of my initial questions on the spot. Peaches seemed underweight when we picked her up so we wanted to do an assessment of her overall health. Dr. Bhullar took the time to meet with my boyfriend and I to go over all of the tests done and her overall results. Dr. Bhullar answered all of our questions and concerns with our new puppy. Every time Peaches has gone to Rexdale Animal Hospital the staff has been professional and friendly and Peaches seems to like them too! In anticipation of an upcoming procedure for Peaches this Rexdale Animal Hospital has sent us pre-operative instructions that outlines everything we need to know to get our puppy ready! I think it is safe to say - we are really happy with our decision to go to Rexdale Animal Hospital!!

I don't understand the poor reviews. Brought my dog in for a check up, was treated well and charged fairly. Brought my dog in for dental surgery, again all staff were very compassionate and professional and was charged fairly. Only vet that doesn't demand a costly x-ray for a tooth that obviously needed to be removed. Also took out 2 other broken teeth, after consulting with me, at no additional charge. Vet's are legally responsible to report any poor treatment or neglect of animals.

I phoned Rexdale Animal Hospital and spoke to someone by the name of A.J. He was absolutely AMAZAING!!! Not only did he answer my questions about my sick dog, he took the time to thoroughly explain all three antibiotics that were given to my dog two nights before ( AT A DIFFERENT ANIMAL HOSPITAL ). He then advised that I should wait 72 hours for the antibiotics to work before bringing her in ( something that the the pervious animal clinic failed to tell me and wanted me to come back in for an additional visit). I am so glad I called and got a second opinion. A.J saved me from an unnecessary vet visit . Most importantly his advice was correct. My dog started eating on her own and had normal bowel movements within the 72 hour time frame. If you need a place to take your dog that is knowledgeable and cares about animals not just financial gain, this is definitely the place to go !!!! Thanks so much A.J I really appreciate your help!

It’s the worst animal hospital I ever visited. My cat was sick so they check everything out gave me some antibiotics for my cat and said “oh, in 2-3 days she’ll be better” My cat died in the same day, 6 hours after we came form this Animal Hospital. They took 477$ to do blood test, so many injections, and promised that she’ll get better. They told me she has weak immune system, less blood cells and no calcium in her body, but she died on my hands form heart attack. This hospital doesn’t have qualified specialists! Attaching the bill.

Rexdale Animal Hospital and staff were the primary vet clinic for our 15 year old Siamese boy Biscuit. He was a family cat who became mostly my cat as the years went on. He was a happy, loving boy and when he started getting unwell Dr. Bhullar and his staff made sure to take good care of him. They gave us the best advice in every tough situation we faced and they helped Biscuit stay healthy and with us as long as they could. Everyone we interacted with was very sweet and they had Biscuit's best interest at heart. Even though I moved from the area a year ago, I trusted them to take care of Biscuit when we didn't know what was going on with his health and through his tail amputation. We happily made the trip everytime he had an appointment because we knew he would be in good hands. Thank you guys for fighting for Biscuit and caring for him.

Was referred to Rexdale when our local Vet was closed. Took my dog there...she was 'foaming at the mouth' after coming in for a walk....The Vet looked at her, checked her vital signs, and found nothing obvious...told me to take her home & watch her...This was at 10:30 a.m... A few short hours later, she went into a major 'seizure'.....The receptionist had told me to take her to an Emergency Clinic on Norseman if anything happened...jumped into the car, took her straight there to be told there was 'No doctor on sight' until 6:00pm!?!?.....WHAT? They had staff there but NO one could help?!...Why are they even Open then?..They then referred me to the KIngsway Vet on Bloor and I raced over....Unfortunately, she had been in 'Seizure' for over 30 min and the damage was done...They stabilised her...we had to put her down..we were crushed I understand it's often difficult to determine a problem right away but I think the 'prudent' call would have been to say 'we should keep her for observation'..no?......I take responsibility but I am no expert.. Then to tell me to take her to Norseman , when it wasn't even open (more correctly open but useless) sealed my dog's fate..
