Friendly helpful staff. Defiantly better than many. You don’t get the feeling they are just in it for the money by trying to push every little scammy item, and unnecessary ‘blood work’ on you. They outline the choices and let you choose. The only flaw; they seem to overbook so you are always waiting longer than you should be past your appointment time.

I have been taking my pets to Renforth Veterinary Clinic for 26 years and I have not once left this clinic disappointed, never felt ripped off or uninformed. The veterinarians in this office care about their precious furry patients and always do their best to do what is best for both the pet and the pet parents. I just got a new puppy and even though I live pretty far from the Clinic, I feel their amazing care is worth the drive for my new little fur baby. My previous dog lived to be almost 18 and I believe the great care he got at this clinic was one of the main reasons he lived to such an impressive age. We had many beautiful years together. Thank you Renforth Veterinary Clinic for loving my pets and taking such great care of their health.

My dog is 5 years old and was chasing a laser when he twisted and became lame in one leg. My daughter took Riley in right away & was told to just wait & see how he progressed. I'm glad that she was told to wait & see. After 2 weeks he still was lame & just not himself. We decided to have x rays done and have his teeth cleaned at the same time since he'd been under anesthetic anyway. Riley now has beautiful white clean teeth...the x rays and the vet manipulated Riley's leg manually to feel around. He suggested we wait another week & then if he's still lame he will need surgery to repair. Considering all that was done I thought the bill was very reasonable. I've heard many dog owners say that they pay around $800 just to have their dogs teeth cleaned & our bill was under $700. They are friendly, always call back & are genuinely animal lovers. Highly recommend Renforth for anyone who loves their pets as much as we do.. Dr. Terp called today to ask how Riley was doing...I mentioned that he won't let me exercise his leg so Dr. Terp suggested a different way to do it....Great suggestion...Thanks!

Friendly and polite. When I'm talking to anyone they talk to both me and my cat like it's two people in the appointment or like I'm bringing my small child in for a checkup. I also like that they make sure my cat is really well taken care of suggesting follow-ups if my fur baby isn't doing well with the recommend treatment.

The staff can be a little rude at times, but I guess everyone has bad days and they are normally busy. Dr. Terp is very knowledgeable, but hard to book with (due to availability between 2 seperate vet clinics he owns). There is one vet there, Dr. Pamela White, whom we refuse to let see our dog or cat any longer as I found her extremely unprofessional and very unpleasant as a person... but the prices are cheaper than most... I always recommend others to try a place and see if they like it.. but I caution all about Dr. White. I just personally didn't find her to be very good as a vet was all, but there are different personality types for everyone there as they have a few vets working out of the office there. They do fine you for missed appointments, and yet have no problem expecting you to wait a very long time to see the vet when you have an appt booked (I usually wait for at least 20 - 45 mins after my appt time to see the vet). So all in all, you usually get what you pay for.

PLEASE STAY AWAY BE CAREFUL OF THE PEOPLE YOU LEAVE YOUR BELOVED PETS WITH. Ive been going to this place for a few years now. Recently added a new member to the family so i decided to take my new chihuahua to get vaccines. 3 vaccines later they apparently scheduled me to get booster shots which I was not aware of. They claim they wrote it on a piece of paper. Are we in the 90's? Most professional offices use email, text, or even phone communication to manage customer relations. Even if i missed my appointment, don't you think you guys should have called me? emailed me? anything? Anyways, I call today to schedule a neuter for my puppy and they said, "you missed your booster appointment, you'll have to restart from the beginning your dog is not immune to anything, you wasted your money". Not only was i greeted very rudely by Sandra, but she did nothing but consistently blame me for "missing my appointment" and didnt offer any solutions. So if i understand correctly I pay for vaccines, you guys don't follow up with your paying customers, the vaccine wears off without the booster, So I have to pay all over again? How is this fair or professional? I was then met at the front door by Dr Terp. He said he is aware of the situation & told me "I don't need to get my dog vaccinated if I didn't want to". I asked if him if I got my first set of shots their office he says yes, I follow up by asking if my dog is immune & protected he follows by smirking & saying he's probably not as immune as he could be. I asked them to get my records as I am never coming back and they were not able to produce my records because they're too busy and it takes time. Im absolutely disgusted by the level of poor service at this clinic. levels from the front desk to management please save your money people. These people are crooks. They took my money leaving me with the impression my dog is protected when in reality they couldn't care less. Here's a little backstory. I feed my dog a raw diet you can agree to disagree.I do not like how the reception is telling me Oh the Vets an here won't accept or does not like the raw diet and I told her that's their opinion this is my own opinion and also I understand they're going to push their dog food cuz they make a commission out of those Brands she's arguing with me telling me no and I'm like yes they do.I have a brother that works in the field I know exactly what they do so no I won't be going to this veterinarian. I do not like how the reception is back talking me and telling me otherwise how I should feed my dog food. The market is a billion dollar industry if you look at the ingredients that's in the dog food it is horrible my husband works for a dog food company he sees what goes in and what is made in the dog food.

I was a disappointed to be charged well over the price I was quoted on the phone (quoted $122+ tax, charged over $300). Make sure to ask for a complete comprehensive breakdown of the costing prior to giving the green light for any treatments or services. Otherwise, staff was lovely and helpful!

I took my dog there once and during the examination I ended up talking about 4 issues my dog had. In the process I was getting really concerned about the cost in the end - due to a recent past experience at another clinic. I was surprised to see that they ended up charging very reasonably and this now became my pug's clinic. Staff is friendly and showed competence on top of being reasonably priced. I'm lucky to have found this clinic.

Many times our lives are full of everyday stress. We definitely don't need the added stress when our beautiful pets are not well and need medical attention. With that being said, whenever my little pooch "Angel" needed attention or just a regular check-up, Renforth always, I repeat, ALWAYS, took it upon themselves to ensure Angel was well taken care of - 100% !!!!! I trusted them with all my heart. Angel has now passed but I will definitely not hesitate for one minute to bring my future pooch there. After 20 years of care with them with various animals, I will never deal with them again. Under new management, all they seem to care about it collecting money for their "recommended" service. Our beloved dog went into respiratory failure because of their "recommended" testing. In my opinion, they ought to have known she was in distress from their testing procedures. We then had to spend more than $2,000 at an emergency hospital, traveling in one of the worst snowstorms in the GTA while our dog was struggling to breathe! I paid the bill for Renforth Vets (with the bill caused by, in my opinion, negligence and a lack of due diligence) along with a letter of concern to Dr. Terp (who was not the treating vet but is in charge). They cashed the cheque and I didn't get a response. In it for the money, not for the alleged services.

Might be nice to deal with but at the same time not reliable at all. It seams like doctors are not qualified. Regularly take a cat for a check up. Every time asked about blood work however doctor insisted that cat is not old enough. Last time I insisted that blood work should be done and apparently blood sugar is really high. So by wasting at least a year before treatment could have been started my cat's life expectancy went significantly down. It is hard to find a good clinic and unfortunately this clinic is also not good. Stay away.

The Clinic was great when Dr. Lixfeld owned it. Extremely caring vet. Have been taking my dogs there for over 25 years. Originally making the trip from Etobicoke, and now from Burlington.. Since the clinic changed owners, they seem to just be after money, money, money. The last straw was when my husband called them last week to see if we needed an appointment for a heart worm test. The receptionist said NO. " Just bring the dog in, and we will take him to the back and do the test. " He also asked if there were any other tests or checkups that would be needed. Again, she said no. The price I believe was like 36 dollars plus tax. So I drove 3/4 of an hr to there clinic. waited for almost 45 minutes, and then I was told that My dog needed to have a wellness check up, before the test could be done, and it was going to be like another 65 dollars, My dog is 4 years old, and in perfect health and weight. I wasnt happy about now having to pay TRIPLE what I was quoted but said ok. Then they said, No , we do not have an opening today for that... YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and come back another day. AFTER WE CALLED IN ADVANCE TO SEE IF AN APPOINTMENT WAS NEEEDED... SO I wasted over 2 and a half hours for nothing, not to mention gasoline for the drive..So if you think they care about you or your pet? I have a bridge to sell you , cheap. From what I believe, They only thing they care about is... MONEY. As for me, I will never go back there again... And I will tell all my friends about my experiences with them as well. That was the second time they tried to up sell me, in as many years... Done...

I’ve been going to Renforth for awhile now. The only thing I disagree with is that my dog got hives and Dr Terp looked on google about what it was. I saw another vet that doesn’t work there any more and she told me it’s an allergy. It’s called bully bumps. That bulldogs are allergic to the bushes. She didn’t have to look up on google she knew. I will still go there cause now they have new vets. I think Dr Terp is good but I could of looked up on google to get an answer

Terrible vet. I took my lab there with an acute ear issue. They would not help the dog as they were not my normal vet who is 2 hours away. They needed the file transferred before they would do anything. They knew the dog was in pain and would not treat him. Take your pet to a vet that cares about your pet not paperwork.

Renforth Veterinary Clinic is a very accomodating, professional pet hospital with staff who truly appreciate and care about the health of your pet. My husband and I bring our goldendoodle Mia here and we are very happy with how they care for her. She had an infection in both eyes and they made sure to get her in as soon as possible for treatment. A few days later they called me to follow up on how she was doing. That kind of care and concern for animals is exactly why my husband and I trust the Veterinarians and Vet Technicians at Renforth. I am writing this review for Dr. Gigi Zeitoun at Renforth Veterinary Clinic because she is the best vet we have ever encountered. What can I say. Dr. Gigi Zeitoun has been a blessing in our life and truly a life saver to our cats. You will not find a more compassionate, loving vet, who not only does what is best for your animal but that also doesn't over charge or try to sell you anything unnecessary keeping your vet bill down which is a first for us. She also communicates very clearly and compassionately with you what your pet is experiencing so you can act accordingly. We have dealt with a string of I am sorry to say but bad vets who should lose their license but when Dr. Gigi Zeitoun came into our life things changed. We have 2 cats, one who battles Irritable Bowel Disease and another with the Calici virus and Dr. Gigi has been there with us the whole way, to the point where we don't need to make regular vet visits because our cats are in such great health because of her care when others told us they wouldn't live a good life or a long life which we didn't want to accept. I now never worry when a vet visit is needed because I know they are in the best of hands with Dr. Gigi. A year ago we lost our beautiful cat Daly to cancer but the journey to get to her diagnosis was going to be costly under another vet that wanted to go through every test under the sun until we got some diagnosis and I didn't want to put our poor girl through that. When we found Dr. Gigi she immediately got us into an incredible specialist and was able to diagnose. The specialist we were referred to by Dr. Gigi was A+++ and the best in his field. And thanks to Dr. Gigi our beautiful girl Daly passed on not in pain, comfortably and in a loving space with us not having to break the bank. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gigi. We were blessed to find her and if you can work with Dr. Gigi it would be the best thing for you and your fur babies. Thank you Dr. Gigi for all that you do and for truly caring about the well being of animals.

We have been going to Renforth for over 32 years with our 2 Lakeland Terriers. They have always been very professional and caring. From the first visit they have one greeted us and the dogs on a first name basis. We recently had to say good bye to our second Lakie and Dr. White and Sue were highly professional but very caring throughout the procedure. They ensured Sydney was treated in a very dignified manner and made comfortable. We were allowed the time to say our good byes even though the clinic was very busy. Sue provided the emotional support to both Sydney and ourselves throughout the procedure and immediate aftermath.

Highly recommend Renforth Vet Clinic. We recently brought our 6-month old French Bulldog to Renforth Vet for neutering. We had not used the vet previously but we were so impressed with the overall service, professionalism and their competitive pricing. They kept us up to date on everything and were genuinely interested in the well being of our puppy. Everything went perfectly and we are hoping that they will be able to take both of our dogs on a regular basis. The philosophy of the clinic has always been animals first - and they take the extra time to explain things. Also, they are much cheaper than other vets in the area. The care and attention that my dogs have gotten at Renforth Vets is outstanding!!! They really care about your animal, and contrary to other reviews, they do give you options about the care and cost of your pet. Recently, my dog had an issue with his urinary tract and another serious health issue. During discussions with Dr Daicos, she gave me options as to how to treat my dog. 1) X-rays 2)antibiotics and monitoring of urine 3) both. Never during any discussions did I feel that I was being pressured or that the issue of how much I was spending was relevant, at all. She let me make the decision. ALL the staff at Renforth Vet put your animal first. The care and compassion that I have seen while just sitting waiting for my appointment is amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a vet.

I will not be going back to this veterinary anymore. The veterinary did not know what's wrong with my dog, and keeps asking me to go back for follow ups every 2 weeks, and they keep charging me for the same issue on check ups! If it's the same issue, they should only charge me for the medication!
