This has to be the best Vet practice in Toronto. Everyone from reception to the techs to the Doctors are not only at the top of their craft, they have AMAZING bed side manner and constantly go above and beyond my expectations. Dr. Toman and Dr. Grubor have treated our dog for major and minor issues alike. They’ve saved our dog’s life on multiple occasions. It doesn’t end with the clinic visit, either. Dr. T and Dr. G will call or email even on their days off to check up on their patients, and have spent several hours with me on the phone when dealing with issues that don’t require an in-person visit, at no additional cost. They may not have the lowest prices, but they are worth it. I’d say we get great value for the money, in fact, considering the quality of treatment we’ve received.

Great vet! Staff is very friendly and helpful. We brought out dog in for her annual shots and the Dr took his time to really explain everything to is and answer all of our question. Best part is, our puppy wasn't even scared or uncomfortable after receiving 4 separate shot (which has NVR happened before)! Definitely recommend taking ur pet here!

I went in with a 9-week old puppy in distress. The clinic were calm, professional and compassionate. I was so appreciative that they did not ask whether I was a ‘client’ when an urgent situation presented. My puppy needed medical support and he received excellent care. I switched to Prince Edward animal clinic when my dog was 1 because of convenience to where I lived and I was unhappy with my previous vet... However as the years went on, I built an incredible relationship with all of the staff and I continue on even though I moved to Oakville. That is just a small testiment of how amazing this clinic is. They care about every animal that comes through their door and every family that loves them. Dr Toman saved my dog's life last year and for that I am incredibly grateful. Keep up the great work and please, to anyone reading this review, it's worth the drive/time it takes to have a vet that cares about your family as much as you do!

Kunik is my newest family member that needed a checkup from Dr. Tibor Toman; our pets doctor. This rescue dog had 3 different vets with much of his care done remotely during his years in Iqaluit. With the help of the great staff at Prince Edward Animal clinic , we were able to get all records organized quickly and concisely to ensure the best care possible for this 12 year old Yorkshire terrier . He had some dietary issues needed updating and tear duct issues other wise in great health! New high quality Food, some eyeball medicine and a thorough and thoughtful physical exam, conveniently maintaining current public health protocols, we were ready to welcome old man Kunik home with a little love from our friends at Prince Edward Animal Clinic!

I've shared my life with dogs since I was six years old - that's a lot of years - and I'm now on dogs #8 and #9. When our precious husky Jukki's time came about a year and a half ago (he was dog #7), it was clear that Dr. Toman deserved the credit for helping him maintain his high quality of life through his latter years. A husky who made it almost to his fourteenth birthday, playing and showing affection to his people and "younger siblings" even on his last day. More than that, he was a source of emotional support and knowledge for us that helped us to help Jukki and our other pups enjoy their mutual time together. I have been a medical researcher for a few decades, and always find Dr. Toman a source of informed discourse on our dogs' conditions, treatment options and outcomes. We have lengthy discussions on medical issues, potential outcomes, etc. There is always a discussion of which tests are necessary or merely optional, when they should be done and under what circumstances, whether they're merely "nice to have" and not necessary (saving our dogs an occasional needle) - I have always found him to be caring, thoughtful and highly reasonable. And his affection for our dogs is palpable. He always takes the time to talk to them, pet them, interact with them, sit on the floor with them, give them treats. He is not merely a vet - he's a caring healer for both the pups and their peeps. He has been a great support in times of need, always making himself available when needed, even coming to our home on two occasions when we were unable to make it into the clinic for reasons that were beyond our control. We've been taking our dogs to his clinic for nearly nine years, ever since moving to Toronto. When he helped Jukki gently embark on his next journey beyond this life, amidst our mutual remorse (and he did share that remorse because he also had an affection for Jukki), I recall expressing to him that throughout my long experience with multiple veterinarians, which number far more than the number of dogs I have had, he is the best of them all. There has never been a doc for my pups who deserves higher praise than I can articulate for this man. As a matter of fact, he is known by name to our dogs as "let's go see Good Doctor Toman". They have mixed feelings about that, of course (there ARE those needles, after all), but they know that they always get pets, "good dog" praises and treats. Best veterinary care I've witnessed including routine checks, treatments for wounds or illness, even surgery on a couple of occasions (he's an artist). And a genuinely good man. It was a stroke of luck for us shortly after we moved here when we walked into this neighborhood veterinary clinic. I've been grateful ever since.

Amazing experience!! We called as Dr. R(sp?) was leaving for the night (she had her coat on!). My dog was in pain/limping with a nail that broke down at the quick - I was sad to see him hurting. We had never been to the clinic but the vet decided to stay and help Jack. She was fantastic with us and fixed him right up. It's so nice to have a skilled vet that really cares enough about your pet they are willing to go the extra mile!! We look forward to making this our new regular clinic.

So happy we left this vet... He was our vet for years and we thought he was brilliant and honest until we began to do our own research when our second dog to be cared for by Dr. Toman got cancer. Toman gave him a month to live and wrote him off just like that, even getting mad when we refused to drug him with medicine that could just cause him to die faster. So we began our research and switched vets and realized everything he told us was actually killing our pets (ex. Pushing dry food, vaccinating so often, useless medication, etc.). Our new vet is amazing and not a money scam like Dr. Toman. I don’t think he was always all about the money, perhaps he lost his compassion over the years, but currently I wouldn’t recommend this vet. I thought long and hard if I should write this review before I realized that I wanted to inform people of the awful care we experienced here. We didn’t know the care was bad until we did our own research. To continue my response in response to Dr. Toman (as it will not let me reply for whatever reason), I am offended that you would claim my review is due to having "dark clouds behind me" with the loss of Blaze. We have, in fact, gotten a new dog and are very happy, though Blaze is forever in out hearts. To explain the real reason why I wrote the review, I would like to mention that since Blazes diagnosis I dedicated myself to extensively researching canine cancer, specifically what the root causes are. All root causes seemed to point to spaying too early (Blaze was 5-6 months when he was spayed), a commercial diet (which we took Blaze off of when he got sick), and inflammation in the body due to certain medicine or food. I am not claiming to put sole blame on you for the loss of Princess and Blaze, however I began to reflect and noted many, in my opinion, "mistakes" made along the way. In regards to vaccinating, Chaplin and Bailey received boosters every Spring, which is my research I realized was unneeded as they are solely indoor cats and do not interact with other cats. Though my parents drove Blaze, Bailey and Chaplin to the vet often, my sister and I were their primary care givers and took on the most responsibility for them, so I do know the relationship Dr.Toman had with all of my fur-babies and it was never a bad one, he was good with them; it just seems to me that in recent years Dr. Toman has become more interested in the money aspect of vet care. Dr. Toman, I am not writing this to smite you or upset you, I am letting you know how I feel and that is that I feel you did not provide exceptional care for MY pets; perhaps others have had a different experience. I am no vet and do not claim to be, and perhaps you really are just following what you were taught in university; however, what I am trying to convey here is that I feel you have lost some of the love you carry for animals along the way.

Loved being able to be a part of the appointment through the window (during covid times) and speak with the dr while they were doing the examination. Very friendly staff, even brought out umbrella's when it started to rain outside. Great experience for me and my dog.

After being quoted $600-700 for the procedure when I asked because money is a concern and being told everything went well and it was best case scenario, I arrive to find my bill is almost $1000. There is no justification for the extra fee and no procedure done in addition to what I was originally told. Complete price gouging! $1000 for sedation and expressing anal glands! Don’t go here unless you have money to throw away

I am still hurting and in tears while I am writing this review as my sweet little dog Jessie passed 3 months ago. She lived a happy long life (over 16 years) and this due to the amazing care of doctors and staff of this clinic. Her passing would have been much more harder on us if we didn't have the support and care of these people who treated us like family. Professionalism, care and dedication is all they offer. They responded at any time even after hours and were willing to accommodate on every request. it was a real blessing we had to deal with them and know them!

I went there with my dog and kitten for shots. The first visit I paid almost $1,000 for the visit, medications, first set of shots and their boosters. I went back for their boosters today, being told ahead of time that I would not be charged as I had paid for it the first visit. Turns out, they double charged me for the boosters and I had to pay $350 dollars for them AGAIN. This is price gauging and unprofessional. I do not recommend. Steer clear!

I have and continue to experience a very warm and professional interaction with this animal clinic. I have a guinea pig, who requires regular nail clipping. In Toronto, there are only two places that handle small animals. Quite by accident, I discovered that Doctor Toman performs nail clipping services, because he has a soft spot for guinea pigs. Thanks Dr. Toman and staff!

PEAC is the best! We brought our new puppy there starting back in June and are so sad to be moving out of the area because we are leaving such a wonderful vet. Dr. Grubor is amazing, honest, and super caring. She was honest with us about what we needed for our pup and didn't need. She was so kind and attentive every time we were in for our first pup appointment, vaccines and a dental surgery that our dog had to have early on. She called me right after the surgery personally to tell me how it went before we even picked him up at the end of the day. She sent me lots of resources, provided quotes in advance, and even took an after hours phone call from me when I was concerned about something my pup coughed up. She is AMAZING and we are so sad to live 40 minutes away now. If ever we are back in Etobicoke we will definitely return. Highly recommend this vet! All of the staff is SUPER friendly as well and knew Bailey by name every time he'd come in or I'd call.

Actually a dispensing pharmacy. My vet is in Malton so I bring a prescription and it can be filled here. Not many veterinarians actually will dispence medications unless they do an examination. Once Prince Edward Animal Hospital is assured that you have a legitimate prescription, they are happy to fill it.

Our cat Milo was in need of an oral surgery and after another local vet provided a very uncomfortable experience with him and wasn’t transparent about the cost/details of the procedure, I began calling other places. This clinic offered a free assessment and second opinion on his oral health. I could tell from the moment she began interacting with Milo that Dr. Grubor was so much gentler and more compassionate than our previous vet. Although the estimate here ended up being higher, we trusted this clinic to be more transparent and honest about what was really necessary (as they wouldn’t know until beginning the surgery process). Milo’s surgery went great and when picking him up after I could tell how caring the staff were! A vet tech told me she loved how she could hold and cuddle him before putting him in his carrier (he is very easy going and loves to be held). The payment process was manageable and the follow up was stellar. From the receptionist, to the vet techs, and vets- this clinic is wonderful!

I just brought my kitten Slimey here primarily for ear mites + a full check up. He came from a home of poor conditions so I wanted to make sure he was all okay. Dr. Branka Grubor was fantastic with her information and honesty about the necessary care for my little Slime. I believe that the prices are fair, there are definitely veterinary clinics that offer the same services at a more discounted rate but with the quality of care and assistance that I received today, I'm really not complaining. Not only was the Veterinarian great, the entire staff I came across today made my whole experience amazing as well. As a first time sole cat owner, they made me feel extremely comfortable and I will definitely be with them for any future medical appointments I'll need for Slime. (Attached is my healthy and happy Slime today at 6 months old. He looks huge, I know.)

That real family vet feeling you can't get from the other clinics. It's the same doctor every single time you go and he remembers you and your pet / their history. Been to different clinics and it's a new doctor or technician each time charging you for every little thing. We've had a great experience at this clinic and recommend it to anyone.

I have taken my pets to a total of 5 different vet clinics throughout my life, and Prince Edward Animal Clinic is without a doubt the best one. The staff is amazing and you can tell that they truly care for your pets like their own. My appointments have always been extremely pleasant due to their kindness and sincerity. Also, they have windows in the appointment rooms! So while you can't come in with your pets due to COVID, you can still be visible and close to them throughout their whole appointment process. This has been AMAZING, especially since my dog has severe separation anxiety. It is also nice that you can actually see the doctor face-to-face and talk directly with them, as opposed to on the phone. All in all, every experience I've had with the staff and doctors at PEAC has been extremely positive and I would definitely recommend them to people who are looking for a family vet clinic that will feel like home! :)

I had an amazing experience with everyone here. Very friendly environment and staff to match. My cat Cleo is very fond of her new friends and most importantly I can't stress enough the difference between a vet that JUST charges for medicine and a vet that explains why I am being charged and the root of the illness so I can help avoid it again. This isn't a place where they take 30 seconds to spin a microscope and make you wait 4 hours than charge an obscene price. Everything is done with practice and very methodically.
