They will work with you to provide the best care possible, and actually take time to explain any questions you have. I haven't met anyone who hasn't loved this clinic and the amazing team of women who make it the fantastic place it is!

We brought our sick 16 year old Siamese Milo to this clinic after his health rapidly declined. From reception to post care this clinic is an absolute delight and really stands out after dealing with different vets over the years. We saw Dr. Zimmerman who was wonderful. She understood that we weren’t looking to put our senior cat through on going tests and stressful diagnostics at our cat’s age (with a heart condition) and rather were seeking to make him comfortable in his final years. Just as there is a time for humans to seek palliative treatments, I feel there is a time for this in our furry friends too and some vets miss this mark.... this clinic is the exception. They are flexible with options, understanding, compassionate and their love for animals is obvious. After my appointment, they followed up via email to check on Milo and he is doing great with Dr. Zimmerman’s recommendations, back to his old self despite his heart condition. The positive culture in this clinic is evident. This is a great team of individuals and capable hands for our precious pets. If you leave your vet’s office and feel unsure about your experience as I have in the past, please give this clinic a try.

In ten years my dog has been to two veterinarians, this is our third for reasons of practicality. First time that I took my old fella (dog) for a visit for a minor injury, they were very gentle with him and not pushy about his expired "shots." Took him back for his shots and the young veterinarian was very nice and put together a detailed file of my fella which I wasn't expecting as other vets have never asked questions about him. She and the other staff did whatever they could to put my fella at ease to the extent that's possible. In all honesty, they fawned over him as soon as he walked in the door until the time we left. Hours of operation make for easy appointments. They also provide individualized treatments for the specific animal when needed and mixed on site so when my fella needs additional protection, all I have to do is call. All in all, great service.

I adopted 2 orange tabbies from them so seamlessly. The doctors always work within your budget because of the pandemic I lost my job so I wasn't able to afford the vaccines and food. But they were supportive and worked within the financial limitations that I could afford. If I could afford the medication, the doctors always give options.

We woke up one morning to a very sick dog and immediately called our vet. Our vet would not see us before 3 days (even though we give them lots of money), so we called Long Branch Animal Clinic who we heard about from a dog park friend. At first they had no availability but I discribed my dog’s condition they told me to come in immediately. The receptionist was very kind and gentle with him. She also followed up with a call after the visit. The vet was a genuine animal lover which made us feel immediately comfortable. After that visit we also brought our dog back in to get neutered and also had another great visit with a different receptionist and vet. They were very reasonable with their charges and we are happy to switch over. We’ll never go back to our old vet, this clinic has much more caring and kind people.

My wife and I had to make the difficult desicion to put down our cat of 18 years. As difficult as it was the doctor's and staff at this clinic were so empathetic and professional. They ensured I was making the right decision without making me pay for a whole bunch of different tests and what not just to get some extra cash out of me. Great Vet Staff, but I can't say the same for the Receptionist. Very unorganized, never answers the phone, which stresses me out. Thankfully I have not been in an emergency situation, as I have read others were. Please review or improve on this. I'd hate to have to switch to another vet because of a poor receptionist.

Staff are always professional and kind to my dog, and other visitors in the waiting area. Doc is open and honest about risks, treatments, and cost. I prefer to discuss the pros and cons of doing something or nothing. Cost is always a factor, but peace of mind has to prevail. This clinic was referred to me after I had been to 2 others with extremely disappointing results. That was 5 years ago, and Charlie is healthy and happy!! Thank you!!

I have a good experience every time I take my puppy here! Everyone is so patient and calm with him! He’s a very nervous pup and they make every experience quick and positive! I highly recommend them especially for puppies! They’ve also be handling Covid-19 so gracefully! I’m so happy I decided to switch to this vet when my puppy was still a puppy!!

My cat has been newly diagnosed with diabetes and the whole process of buying syringes and insulin is new to me. Usually, I buy it from my vet but I work in the area and decided to grab it from Long Branch Clinic. The lady in the front seemed very busy and I got the feeling I was bothering her when I tried to ask her any questions. The female vet was very nice and came out and brought me the insulin. I was surprised when I was asked for $54.02 for insulin and 20 syringes that normally cost me $25.50. I asked her surprised whether it was a double dosage, but again she rushed me away saying she thought I spoke with the vet and that she didn't know. I understand my cat isn't a patient here and buying prescription isn't their priority but anyone new walking in should be explained that there is a $30 refill fee which is NOWHERE STATED ON THE RECEIPT. They simply included it in the cost of the insulin. My mistake was leaving and not checking the dosage size, but at that point I was sitting there for 15 min and late for work. When I called later to verify I was given a simple sorry, nothing we can do and that every clinic charges this fee. NOT TRUE, I called another clinic down the street and was given a much smaller total. Charging me $30 for a $9 prescription is completely ridiculous and I feel ripped off!

I have been visiting this clinic since 2018 and wanted to update my review as the service has been consistently amazing. If I could give 6 stars I would. They have quickly adapted to COVID measures to provide a safe and friendly experience. Since only 1 customer is allowed in at a time, I was waiting outside in the cold yesterday for a few minutes to pick up my cat. While I was waiting, a vet tech came outside with the debit machine and my cat so that I would not have to wait in the cold for too long. I really appreciated this gesture and want to thank this clinic for always going above and beyond for their patients! Salem says thank you so much!

I am heartsick to write this post. Last Wednesday our family lost our beloved dog suddenly and without warning. He got ill in the morning and by 2:00am of the 23rd had to be put down by Oakville emergency vet. The reason for my post is to discuss our local veterinarian office Long Branch Animal Clinic . They were our family vet for over 8 years. We have many animals that this office has seen over the years as well as we have been buying our pet food from them for years every week. In short, we are excellent customers and they know our dogs well. Well that when we call and tell them the dog is sickly, they knew it was atypical. The receptionist advised they were busy and would put us on "stand by". I left my work to ensure I was home and close enough to run over the moment they called. They never called. I waited for the call and when it did not come we had no other option to go to the emergency clinic, which by then was to late and he needed to be put down. Our family is devastated. Beyond words. I contacted the vet a few days later to ask why this had happened, and she advised that "they were very busy" and "had he gotten sick the week before it may have been different". No apologies, no sincere empathy or no emotion at all. (She had been informed by the Oakville vet that he was put down but she never contacted us.) I am writing this post to tell you that if you use this vet, they are fine for vaccines, or teeth cleaning, or yearly check ups, but DO NOT depend on them in emergencies. Your pet's life depends on it. They are disorganized... they cannot manage to attend to clients and answer a telephone at the same time, they have no training in triage a the front of house to determine which patients should be priority over non priority. They have a sincere lack of capabilities for emergency services of any kind. I vocalized this to Dr. Worthy, as well as sent her an email. The response I received back completely confirmed my beliefs.......... as not one apology, not one comment on the fact the clinic advised they would call me back and did not, did not acknowledge at all that they played a large roll in the fact my dog died due to lack of professional intervention. In fact, she did not even have the courtesy of stating my name. My dog died because this clinic did not make the space for him when they advised me they would. Or advise me that they simply could not see him and to go elsewhere. My dog died because their skill level is poor to determine by a manner of a few questions how critical my dog's health was. (Lack of training or protocol). My dog died and after 8 years as a client they could not even have the decency to call me to say how sorry they were. When we needed them, they were not there. When our dog needed them, them were not there. Please reconsider this clinic for your vet needs.... trust me when I tell you if it was an emergency you don't want your pets life dependent on them, or you will be waiting like us for your's to come home in an urn. I hope this saves another family from this pain. ..

She is so knowledgeable and kind, and she never rushes you through an appointment. Good clinic and very helpful doctors, but receptionist must learn how to write formal email replies back. While I am sending formal e-mail with problem description, what I am getting back is 1 line of response in the header of the email with completely blank body. Writing few additional lines on the e-mail is not as hard as it seems, especially for a client who has been with you for over 2 years now.
