Told me three times they were not ready for my animals so they told me to take my kittens outside and wait in 38 degree weather until they called . Last year they abused my rottweiler while trying to mussle it with one that didn't fit. They also hurt my brothers dog by forcefully yanking its mouth open while it had cancer in the jaw. Stay away! The 20 of them that work in the back couldn't care less about your animals . Used to be a great place until new management took over . Pathetic

If I could give this Vet a 0 star I would. After 2 days of my dog being in a diabetic crisis and NO ONE FROM THIS VET advised me. He has passed away. I had to take my dog to the animal hospital and them telling me its too late to do anything that if I came sooner something could of been done. This vet is the worst Vet by far and I have been going here for over 10 years and all they did was make money off of me.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at BloorMill. The staff are amazing, the prices are VERY reasonable and the care has surpassed my expectations. Several years back Dr Hill found a tiny (half the size of a pea) cancerous tumour on my boxer. I was so impressed with the care and compassion of the staff. Within a week the tumour had been tested, successfully removed and no cancer was found in the surrounding tissue. My partners mastiff had problems with infection in his anal glands. He was treated several times by other vets with oral antibiotics. His problems persisted for months. I suggested Bloor mill and on his first visit Dr Mak treated it internally and he hasn't had a problem since. My cat was recently treated for a blockage. The staff was compassionate and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure my cat was well taken care of. They educated me on proper aftercare, what to observe and the best ways to prevent reoccurrence. Dr Hill is a seasoned vet with a wealth of knowledge and I trust him and the rest of the staff implicitly with my pets. They have always gone the extra mile to care for my animals and make sure I have all the information needed to understand the complexities of my pets health concerns. I would highly recommend BloorMill to anyone looking for premium veterinary care for their animals.

Our English Bulldog was having UTI issues and we were seeking a Vet that had Bulldog experience with an office that was open in the morning. We were so lucky to find BloorMill Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Kenneth Hill because he saved our Bully's life. After examining her, Dr. Hill explained that she likely had a stone in her urethra obstructing the passing of urine. She spent the early morning squatting with no results so I wasn't surprised. 30 minutes later, he met us in the examining room with two xrays, and a stone in his palm almost the size of a dime that he manually massaged out of her urethra. Our Bulldog immediately let go of the bloody urine that had accumulated overnight. Her bladder could have burst from the pressure. Dr. Hill explained every step of the treatment plan for our pet, the costs involved, and the options that were available. He is a very caring, knowledgeable and pleasant Veterinarian. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially to English Bulldog owners. He had an American Bulldog himself so he is familiar with the breed and its inherent medical complications.

I've never done a review before. Like ever. But I've only lived in Mississauga for 2 years and it was too far of a travel so we decided to start coming to this vet. Our dogs are very healthy, we've never had to take our dogs to the vet really, only for check ups. I rescued Nya where she was abused and growing up not liking to be touched but as she grows up she runs to everyone to pet her but her seperation anxiety is heart breaking to hear from the other side of the door and there Is no way of consoling her Jack Russell/Siberian personality. She hates every dog and will nip to protect herself because she's not trusting. My old vet was the only vet that she felt comfortable at and I was anxious to try but we stayed strong and I held in all my tears for the walk back home. We called to check up. We feel horrible for being annoying and calling but we did and they said she found another dog for company and I burst out in tears. Nya is my entire world! I love her to bits and pieces! I'm so happy and relieved that she was comfortable!!!! Also, I'm only giving 4 stars because we came in earlier to bring her in before going back home and going back... a lady said she didn't have time to do something required for her job and seemed very frustrated and unhappy there. All I remember was her black/brown curls. The lady who weight her was amazing, the lady who brought my dog in and had the braid in her hair is amazing. The lady who greeted us with the short hair before my payment was amazing. They are why I didnt turn back so I give them a star each! 1 taken from that one lady with the curls who didnt have time to do her job. Or "calculating medicine". I'm not sure what she was talking about but she brought the greeting room bad vibes in an anxious time for my family. Otherwise, thank you to this team that help and thank you doctor for taking care of my baby!! She didnt push money... she suggested and I feel she does care about your pet. So far so good for us!

Amazing vet! Everyone loves their dog, but I LOVE my dog [Nike] with my entire heart and soul. I took Nike to a few vets [in Etobicoke] and they all made me feel like the only thing that mattered was charging me and charging me a lot. One vet even refused to answer a simple question over the phone, unless I brought Nike in. I told them I'd never go back, because it was obvious what mattered to them. I then found BloorMill Vet, they're absolutely phenomenal, they truly care and very reasonable when it comes to cost. Great people! Has always been a really positive experience. Highly recommend them!

We have used this but since the day we got our cat RJ to the day he died . We called the bed 3 days prior to R j's death We were told that we would have to way until the Wednesday to see a vet. But the secretary decided it tell us about the mob I'll bet that they use the mobile vet just to come to our home was going to be $300 that's not on top of anything they do for our cat so in turn The Visit would have been over a $1000. Then we are told to go to the emergency vegetarian clinic but what they don't tell you is what time they open they open at 6:00 p.m. one hour prior to 6:00 p.m. my cat unfortunately died where I could have had him seeing a bet which is 2 minutes down the road for our house and yet they were too busy to see a cat that was an absolute emergency. And disgusted with them and on top of everything not once since the day of my cat's death have they been called and showed any remorse or to ask to see how hes doing I'm disgusted and Horrified at the fact that are they doing this for money or do they care about their animals because after mine kept passing I'm not entirely sure.

The vets here are very knowledgeable of rabbit care, and the doctors are so kind - they were able to remove a broken nail very quickly and adjusted the fee according to the level of care that was needed. They squeezed me in when my bunny chewed up a lamp wire, even though it was late and they were closing soon. Their rates are also much more affordable than other Toronto vets. They’re a bit far from me but they’re worth it!!

Dr. Wise is heaven sent. No one else will care for my dog; I will follow her where ever she goes. My dog injured her paw and we had moved over 2hrs away from Dr. Wise therefore we went to the best rated vet in the area; she was able to offer some assistance but her paw still did not heal. I decided to try contacting Dr. Wise but to avoid the commute she stated to email her a picture...which i did. This woman is so magical she was able to speculate about a diagnosis and suggested a treatment plan...i took her in anyways to see Dr. Wise (because i am a crazy over thinking dog mom) and obviously being the magical person she is; her speculated diagnosis was right. We love you Dr. Wise !!

Went to this clinic after a horrible experience at Renforth Animal Clinic. Staff were friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Vet was wonderful. We took our bunny "Snowball" for neutering to BloorMill after talking to a number of other clinics that perform this procedure, reading reviews and then trusting our "gut" feel about which one of them will be the best for our bunny!! And we were glad we made the right choice. Dr. Kaytlyn Wise performed the procedure on our bunny. We found her to be very knowledgeable & patient and a lot of our misgivings were removed in the pre-op checkup session. She was very friendly, explained the complete procedure and answered all our questions very patiently. Snowball has recovered well after the surgery and apart from a couple of days of general apathy towards food, there were no other complaints. I would like to thank Dr. Wise as well as the other staff at BloorMill for their support and for the post-op calls they made to check on Snowball. Would recommend BloorMill to all other bunny parents out there!! Rest assured your precious ones will be in good hands :) [Neutering done on 29th June 2016]

Brought my great dane to Bloormill for the first time last week for a rash on her muzzle. Dr. Mak was very kind and provided medication that worked almost immediately. Great staff to deal with and treat your pets well but they have over extended themselves. If your pet is having an emergency don't bother they won't have time for you and will recommend you go elsewhere; this isn't a one off. Once my guy had an eye infection and it took them two days to get in at which point it was pretty bad. The next time was a severe allergic (hives from head to hind) reaction and again they told me to go elsewhere. Might be time for them to find a new facility where they can have more vets and vet techs otherwise more comments like this will start popping up.

I brought my bunny here recently because he was having a minor problem in one eye and my regular vet was a 3 week wait. The staff were all very nice and caring and at the time I appreciated their help. I was then given a bad diagnoses on a minor issue and told an expensive route for recommended appointments and testing, so that was a big shock to me and really emotionally difficult to process. After getting an urgent appointment at my regular specialized vet he told me the definite diagnoses I was given was not at all what was going on, and it turned out to be much less serious. I know these things do happen, and trust they did their best, but I think if a clinic is open to seeing species other than cats and dogs they should be confident with their differing physiology to avoid this happening as much as possible. Dr. Mac was very nice and I believe her intentions to help were certainly good, however if given the option I would personally recommend taking bunnies to an exotic veterinarian, as they deal with these species primarily and therefore have more experience with recognizing their illnesses.

We love this place!! We have been coming here since our 1.5 year old cat was a kitten and never left and will never, ever leave. We have heard so many bad stories about other people's experiences with their vets... but we got lucky to have found the best people to care for our furbabies. Dr Wise and staff are the best animal people and you can tell that they really care for the animals they see. Everything old is new again! We brought our cat to this clinic many years ago. It's been a long time since we've had a pet. Anyone who's lost a furry family member knows how difficult it is to bring another one into your home and heart for fear of losing them again. After stalling for quite some time in the name of research and wanting to be sure it was the right thing to do. A year ago, our amazing son took things into his own hands and presented us with the most presious Christmas gift we have ever received. I seriously doubt he knew how much joy this beautiful little pup would bring us. We look forward to every single day with this crazy little mutt of ours. I highly recommend this clinic! I became a new patient when my senior cat started developing respiratory issues. The vet was very kind and informative about what she thought was going on, what her recommendations were, and what my options were. I never felt pressured to do one thing or another, and she was honest with me about the prognosis for my cat. She had me email her daily videos of my cat’s chest so she could check her respiration rate (something I wasn’t comfortable with doing myself), and tried various methods within my budget to help her. When my girl’s health took a sharp downturn the staff there were incredibly kind and compassionate, they gave me the time I needed to say goodbye (this was pre-COVID, thankfully), and were incredibly gentle with her. If that were not enough to recommend them they went above and beyond to mail me the paw impression art I had ordered through the clinic (Pear Tree Impressions, Calgary AB- also recommend them) after I had moved several hours out of the city and not had the chance to pick it up. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness to me and to Desiree.

The vets are knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Wise always takes the time to explain things thoroughly and my dog really loves visiting the vet - something I never thought would happen! I never feel like I ask too many questions or am rushed out of an appointment and I always feel satisfied that my dog is being well taken care of! He is reactive and barks quite a bit but the staff really know how to handle him and always make arrangements for safe arrival (such as scheduling an appointment when there are no other dogs around). I recently moved into the area and checked local vets, BloorMill had the best reviews. I'm glad I chose them. From the time I walked in the door, the staff were very friendly. Mollie was seen by Dr Mak. She completed a thorough examination, explained everything she was doing and why. Problems Dr Mak found with Mollie, she explained in detail why it happened and what was the best treatment for Mollie, if it is of urgency and provided a breakdown statement of all costs. The veterinarians and staff here are absolutely exceptional. I have been taking my cats here for a few years now and always been happy with the service they receive. The quotes I receive are much lower than of other vets and my cats have always received fantastic care from the vet and the super friendly vet aides. Both Dr.Mak and Dr.Hill take the time to explain your pet's condition to you and unlike other vets I have been, do not always recommend going with the costliest treatment first but rather what would work best for the animal. When I brought a badly beat up stray in, Dr.Hill went out of his way to help surgically repair his injuries and charged me only a very minimal fee ( I dont think the fee even covered the occurred cost of the medications but Dr. Hill was very generous and kind to this cat). Overall, I am very thankful for the doctor's and staff working here and would recommend for anyone who wish for their pet to receive first rate and exceptional service to come here. Both your pet and your wallet will thank you.

I found this little gem of a vet clinic many years ago. I had gone to several other vets before finding this one and have been taking my pets to Dr. Hlil, Dr. Mack and their amazing staff ever since. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate their service. I find them to be honest, compassionate, knowledgeable and I trust them completely. As a bonus, their fees are extremely reasonable for what you get. They spend a lot of time answering all my questions. Many times they have helped fix the problems my kitties have had. I referred a friend of mine here, with his two dogs...and l went the first time with him, because l used to go here but that was when Dr Hill was there....and l must say was sad how so many people couldn't handle one of his dogs. I also wanted to sit in to watch because l was thinking of returning there. In the end the poor dog didn't even get all his shots, so had to give the dog pills to return the next week to give him the final needle. So l mentioned to the owner maybe they can empty his glands while yr there. I didn't go this time but l wish l had of, the owner could hear his dog crying , so he entered the room and saw one person holding this leg one way another person holding elsewhere and the doctor holding , and mean while this dog had a sore leg, not good people, so he told them how would you like it if you had people holding you down! Good for you for entering that room, l too would enter if l heard my pet giving off sounds that isnt right...he told them give me my dog back, paid and left...and l was so upset when he left there he called me so ticked, and l felt awful suggesting to go there. All he could tell me was dont go there, and l said l knew l wasnt after seeing the first time was like a circus in there. So l could say if a vet is far and only one person the vet and you can handle yr dog empty his glands do blood and give needles without any problems best to travel there. The thought of returning here has left my mind, never could be the same,this l should have known with a problem yrs back when he was starting to pull back fr there and some doctor there at that time was not good eith a pet of mine...too bad bloor mill no longer bloor mill...thanks my friend and sorry for yr experience. And when l said dr. Hill was great and yr right but hes no longer with life. So l will too keep travelling my distance to my vet , like l travel far to my own doctor....because good ones are hard to find. Do not expect my friend who you know who it is to be returning to this place...

Don’t waist your time, and definitely if you care for your pet they deserve better care than what this clinic can offer. Unexperienced and uneducated vets and VERY poor customer service and client retention. They push unnecessary tests, do not listen to what you have to say about your own animal that you know better than anyone. I have struggled with this clinic for a few years and have been brought to tears and have decided that I will no longer continue to give them my business and neither should you.

Our dog had a surgery to remove a mass from her eye a few weeks back. We couldn't be happier with the staff and the doctor. All instructions were clear, and we knew our dog was in good hands! The surgery went well, and the doctors saw her back a few times to monitor the healing, and were very patient and safe when deciding on when to have her stitches removed. The staff is super friendly and professional, and the clinic has very reasonable prices compared to the rest. Dr. Maggie Mak did the surgery, and we are extremely pleased with the results and the care our dog got during and after the procedure!

I am very disappointed. I scheduled an appointment for my dog weeks ago for her second round of vaccines. They called to confirm her appointment and I scheduled the day off work. We arrived for our appointment they said they have no record of her and we were turned away. Very unprofessional and a waste of our time so I would not recommend or refer to Bloor Mill veterinary clinic in the future.

Took my dogs there for 13 years. Sadly for their own safety I have transferred to a better more mature Vet. The change in staff there is so frequent you never know who will open the door. Normally that's based on poor management They have lied to me about medication deliveries, within a day of telling me to switch my dogs food gradually he had severe diarrhea and bleeding from the rectum. So 3 hours at the Norseman Clinic and $200.00 dollars later they got him back on track . Said normally you would not switch an older dog's food when there are other methods available to try. There is one lady that is worth her weight in gold and that is Vanessa. Also just found out that my dog was overdosed on a medication for Cushing's which was prescribed by Dr. Wise. Since the dosage is lower I notice a BIG difference in his overall well being. More energy. Thank goodness! Wonder how much damage that has caused!!!!!

I have been with this Hospital since 1996. Sadly, the previous owner, Dr. Kenneth Hill passed away but he managed to train well his replacement and current owner, Dr. Maki. Dr. Maki is a very tenacious researcher, like Dr. Hill before her she always tries to get to the bottom of the problem. Both current vets, Dr. Maki and Dr. Wise are very caring.

Adopted a cat and I was not made aware that she was not well. Within a short amount of time it became clear that something was wrong. She was coughing and vomiting. Read the great reviews and took my cat into see Dr. Wise. Dr. Wise is knowledgeable, professional and very caring. The staff at the clinic are just as awesome. After some exams/xrays it was found that my cat had an infection. I was given two weeks of antibiotics to her and I am happy to write that she is doing just fine. ???? She is no longer vomitting or coughing. She is a happy cat and I am very happy that I took her in to this clinic! Thanks to all! !

The technicians are great but the Dr.s hardly touched my dog and are always pushing unnecessary test and redoing old tests. They are just interested in your wallet. Switched to a new vet and they were able to identify and treat my dog without the tests. The new vet spent more time in one appointment examining and interacting with my dog then Bloor Mill spent in the last year combined.

The people working here are the sweetest, kindest, most loving people for your pets. I went there on Christmas eve and Dr. Wise was patient in answering my many questions about my little ones. They were great! Now the reason for the 3 stars is because between Christmas eve and today I waited over an hour with a 1/2 hr reschedule. Also, I wasted over 1/4 tank and traumatized my poor cats with all the waiting. Today I left and didn't even get seen bc I had waited 20 min. After a 30 min. Reschedule. I had enough. They are busy, and that is great for their business and jobs. But, my time and my sweet boys count. Note** this was a while ago but, my cat was barfing almost every day. They gave me pills for nausea... this made him even sicker. I went online and found out some cats can react to grain food. I bought him grain free food boom hardly ever barfs. Sometimes its the easier solution.

Been coming here for a couple years now and I absolutely love It! They are so good to my 2 rabbits and my cat. They are extremely knowledgeable and were always able to answer all of my questions. They are so gentle with the animals and do all that they can to make sure they're comfortable. One time we forgot the cats collar there and when we went back the next time, they had it waiting for us with a sticky note with my name on it. I completely trust them with all of my animals, they have helped me through a few scary situations and I know that they'll be able to help me in the future as well. I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic and if I could give them an even higher rating than 5 stars, I would!

Our new 14 week old pup had her 1st vet visit today with Maggie Mak. It was a wonderful visit. I found staff and vet to be delightful, thorough, definitely in the right occupation and enthused about their work. Our last vet in Sudbury was a hard act to follow and never did I dream that we would find another clinic where we felt so trusting and at home. Well, we have. What a gift to our precious pup. These people are highly consultative and collegial. And to say they are animal lovers is an understatement.
