Due to COVID-19 you can't be with your cat during an exam which adds stress to Mr.FurrBall - but the staff really does try to accommodate you with an outdoor window view of the exam and a caring touch.

My mom got her kitten from here, then took her stray rescue here for care as well. They were always very helpful and accommodating, especially as her rescue aged. It was sad but a very comforting place to be when it came time to put him down. I began to foster kittens for them a year ago and adopted one of our fosters. All the kittens and cats are very well cared for and in tiptop health before being adopted. And they also work hard to find kittens to rescue through Western Canada so you know you are helping a little life find a great home. More money than the spca but they invest alot of money and effort into their small charges. Highly recommended!

I came to this on a recommendation from someone and I have to say that it lived up to its praise. They are kind and caring with both owners and their cats. And with the COVID-19, they have stepped up to the plate and found a way to treat cats while they keep to health care providers recommendations. Honestly used to love the clinic but since staff changed the last two times we have been both the nurse and the doctor were very unclear and gave us medication that we didn't even want and didn't seem to know what they were doing at all. They never fully answered our questions or gave explanations for the products they were pushing despite us asking it multiple ways. The whole time we were watching them perform the exam it seemed like they had never picked up a cat before and made no efforts to form a connection or make it easier on him. Switching to another vet as soon as possible

Definitely not satisfied with Dr Bell. Have had several visits to her clinic over the past year and she has yet to touch/hold/feel my cat, yet felt justified in charging me almost $150 on top of the $50 (for service) + $30 (for meds required to sedate my cat enough to go to the vets) for the failed visit 10 days before, where her staff had made a mistake. Dr. Bell (again, has never touched the patient) seems almost afraid/disgusted by cats, yet that's her apparent specialty. I feel that she cared more about the billing and really didn't care about the patient.

Every time I've brought my kitten in they have been so wonderful. The veterinarians and support staff are super comprehensive and there are often kittens in the lobby to watch if you have to wait for any reason. They make waiting enjoyable!

I am beyond grateful for the amazing team at Pacific Cat Clinic! They have been incredibly accommodating, thorough, caring, personable, and professional. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend you to bring your cat here! Each team member is an absolute pleasure, they remember you and your cat, give you ample information, and genuinely care about the treatment of your feline. They go above and beyond to make sure your cat is comfortable, for example, they shielded my cats view from other cats when he had to stay overnight because he is sensitive and shy. They communicate very clearly with you and answer all of your questions as thoroughly as possible. Additionally, they have staff members arriving at 7:30, much earlier than other clinics, which I have found very valuable.

I would highly recommend taking your feline friend to this specialized cat clinic. All their health needs can be taken care of in this calm, warm non threatening environment. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and well equipped to keep your cat at ease during what can be a stressful experience for them. During check ups you get to be right by your kitty's side to help them relax and feel more involved in their care. They also have healthy adorable kittens for adoption if your looking for a new addition to the family.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I had to take my cat Duchess there when she became acutely sick from an infection- she had to be on IV antibiotics over the course of two days. The initial exam was very thorough and I was able to observe through a window while the vet talked and asked questions on the phone. They were great about calling me throughout the day with updates. I worked that week but since this clinic opens at 7:30am I didn’t have to miss work or even be late, and my cat got treatment right away. A few weeks later I called about having some of her teeth extracted, the wait list at most places was two months, they put me on their waitlist for cancellations, not even an hour later I got a call about a next day spot opening up. They gave me updates on her throughout the procedure and after I went to pick her up Dr Mansum Yau was very friendly and gave me a detailed rundown about what they had done, Nothing felt rushed at all (kinda wish she was a human dentist too! Haha). After getting the diseased teeth out she’s a very happy cat! Everyone from Reception, vet assistants, techs and Dr’s were wonderful and I highly recommend this clinic!

I have been searching for a new vet ever since my old one sold his practice. I was almost set to join the Pacific Cat Clinic family until I read a review that recounted a despicable conversation with one of the vets there regarding rabies. I am dumbfounded that a vet would make such horrific statements to instill fear into a client. The response from the clinic was equally disheartening to me. Where as the statement about government involvement in reported cases of rabies may be true the last reported case of rabies in B.C. was back in 2003 and that was of a human bitten by a bat. So I wonder when the PCC actually had animal clients with rabies as so stated in their reply. This so disheartening as both my husband and I went to the clinic to check it out before making the move. Shame on PCC for the way they handled this situation, there were countless other discussion paths that could of been taken with this previous client. My search unfortunately continues.

They are amazing. I have now adopted two cats from them. Their vet techs, assistants, and Dr Bell are so so so good, and they really know their cats!! They also have a really thoughtful procedure for when your saying goodbye to your furry friend. I would recommend they to anyone.

I LOVE this clinic. I switched to there a few months ago and have been super happy with everything. Very honest about pricings, very knowledgeable and accommodating. I feel like they actually care about my cats when I bring them in. Would recommend them to any cat owner! Plus, you can go see the kittens anytime! Great for some destressing

This is an amazing clinic. They saved my cats life. Such wonderful caring staff and Dr. They went so far above and beyond. Helping secure financing and helping my cat. I am sure he would have died in the next day or 2 without them. We left early this afternoon and he is already perking up. Thank you with all my heart for saving my cat.

I need to bring my cat to get checked out and possible antibiotics as a tooth had fallen out. I explained this over the phone and the girl had the nerve ask ask if I extracted the tooth myself!!! That would be animal abuse! Absolutly not acceptable and I would NEVER hurt my babies!! Tried to make an appointment dispite the receptionists obvious lack of sensitivity and compassion and she just kept telling me to drop my cat off in the morning. I mentioned several times that I work early and all day so it's not an option and I need a late appointment. I'm not going to to dump my baby on the door step at 6 am. No way will I be calling Pacific cat clinic again. Absolutly worst customer service I've experienced from a veterinarian clinic where compassion and understanding should be a must during every interaction. Did I extract myself?! Just wow......

During our dear Yogi's recent illness and final passing, Dr. Bell and her wonderful staff have been incredibly caring and gentle with him and our family. Their professionalism and thoughtfulness are beyond words. I would (and do) recommend Pacific Cat Clinic to any cat owner who wants the best of care for their family member.

Plus we are moving across the country and they have also been very helpful in finding ways to make sure she is happy as possible during the flight. Since positing this review I was contacted by Dr. Bell to discuss my situation and we came to a resolution. Very disappointed. They took no responsibility for their negligence in spading my 2 year old female cat, which resulted in her being rushed to the Victoria Veterinary Hospital 2 days after surgery for a rupture in her trachea and a huge hospital bill. The staff at Pacific Cat Clinic denied any negligence and offered no support for this tragic event..

There are not enough words I could put together to even come close to describing how incredibly kind, caring, patient, loving, compassionate, professional and respectful Dr. Bell & her staff are, as individuals and as a whole practice. I have a terminal ill cat, and it’s been a bumpy road to say the least, but Dr. Bell & the team (special shout-out to Marina!) have gone above and beyond to ensure that my cat (and me!) are both taken care of as if we were family. You guys have got me through some really, really bad days where I’m sure I’ve been overwhelming to deal with, but you treated me with dignity and respect and that means more to me than I think I’ll ever be able to voice. Thank you for your outstanding care as a Veterinary practice, and to anyone considering taking their kitty to Pacific Cat Clinic, just do it, you’ll be glad you did.

Dealing with them has been the worst three months of my life. I adopted a kitten from them mid August, payed all fees upfront, then shortly after he got very very sick constantly. I took him in to get neutered, which I had payed for, and they didn't neuter him because he was sick and I understand that but then charged me a $100 vet fee for doing nothing! After I complained they reimbursed me, but they convinced me into buying the expensive insurance because he was so sick, and were threatening me with $500+ ultrasound bills to find out what was wrong. Turns out he had worms, something that they claimed they already treated him for, so I took him in to get dewormed again. I gave him the pills but he threw them up (because of the worms) and I had to take him in and get the topical treatment instead. That worked and his neuter was booked again and they said they'd do the second topical treatment on his neuter date. When I brought him in I reminded them that he needed his second dewormer that day too and when I picked him up, guess who didn't get dewormed! I called immediately after and talked to Dawn (the main person I talked to was Dawn) and we talked through what happened and she said she'd put aside some deworming medicine for me to come get. Which brings us to today. I was working so I sent my partner to pick up the medicine for me, he waited for 45 minutes and THEY WOULD NOT GIVE IT TO HIM. THEY MADE HIM PAY $20 (or took it out of my store credit??) FOR THE MEDICINE BECAUSE THEY DONT THINK HE NEEDS IT EVEN THOUGH HE IS STILL THROWING UP. The amount of times I have gone home crying after dealing with them is astounding. They sold me a $800 sick cat, and keep trying to get more money out of me while I just want my cat to get better!!! I haven't even had him for four months yet! Once I get my credit back I am never going back and I STRONGLY URDGE that NOBODY ever takes their cat there!!! They don't care about your cats they care about money! This has honestly been the worst experience ever and I wish it upon nobody. Wish I could give 0 stars. There is so many staff and nobody knows what's going on. I will never recommend going there for any reason.

Me and my granddaughter Hazel went to visit, hold and play with the 3 black kittens all ready for adoption. So nice that the Pacific Cat Clinic staff welcomed and encouraged us to give hugs & cuddles to these 3 cuties. Hope they all have found forever homes. ????

I am super impressed and thankful for this clinic's commitment to their clients and cats. My boyfriend and I had our first experience at the Pacific Cat Clinic couple weeks ago... we were very stressed and worried giving our particular situation with our cat. The staff there immediately greeted us with big smiles and warm regards, and it was really refreshing that most of the assistants made an engagement with us and our cat while waiting. It settled our nerves and calmed both my partner and I. But I really wanted to take the time and acknowledge one of the ladies there, Danielle (I don't know her position there). But she is absolutely AMAZING at her job, if it wasn't for her.... I would have probably had a nervous break down. She was grounding, kind, extremely empathetic and extremely knowledgeable. I respect her and her quality of service soo much. You can tell she's passionate about her job. We need more people like her!! I know a lot people fear of going to the vet because of the impression that clinics are just trying to make money and over-charging etc etc. I never got this impression with this clinic..Their focus is on the well-being of your cats and clients, and quality service. I am so thankful I was came to this clinic. 100% couldn't recommend this clinic enough. If you have a cat.....go there.

I would highly recommend this cat clinic. The staff are very knowledgeable and caring about you and your feline family members. We brought our cat Mr.B in he was not feeling well. I have always been made to feel like a bad owner by not bringing him to the vet unless it was something serious. But the staff treated me with respect. Took a good look at Mr B and give us our options unfortunately we had to put him down but they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with the decision and made Mr B as comfortable as possible. Even with covid protocols in place they still managed to find away to make our final goodbye work.

If you have feline companions in need of veterinary care of any description, my husband and I cannot recommend Pacific Cat Clinic too highly. We have had two elderly male cats, his a Maine Coon cat aged 18, mine a marmalade cat I adopted when he was three months old, who recently died at 17. Both these old gentlemen developed age-related illnesses over the past year; the care they have received from the PCC vets and technical staff has been outstanding. Our vet, Dr. Ellen Everson, was also thorough in informing us exactly what courses we should take should our cats‘ illnesses take dramatic turns for the worse. Her advice was invaluable when my feline friend had a stroke at the beginning of December; we euthanized him without a sense of guilt, knowing we were doing the very best for him. The Main Coon cat continues to receive medical care at PCC on a regular basis, enabling him and us to continue to enjoy a quality life together.

Been going for years and they are very understanding to all our concerns whether they are dietary, health or monetary. Dr.Bell and her staff at the best. :)

I don't give five stars lightly, however PCC deserves everyone of them. I've had a rough las few months with both of my cats being ill, and this place made everything right again. The past scare I had with one of my guys was a poisoning I incident. I ended up taking him to the central emergency hospital because that is what the situation called for. When I got there I felt so uncomfortable with the care that was being offered that I called PCC to see if I could transfer care to Dr. Bell, as I have worked with her before and she does an amazing job from start to finish. Although I could not transfer him over that evening Dr. Bell helped support me and talked me through what the game plan would be (over the phone) while I was at Central. She also took time to speak to the vet I was dealing with, on top of that she also contacted poison control on my behalf and got a file started that was sent to Central and added to my cats file. The next day I transferred my cat to PCC and he was treated so well! I was allowed to visit him a few times throughout the day and he was eventually released. Dr. Bell gave me a call that evening, at about 945 PM to check up on how everything was going. He had his last check up today and is back to being a crazy cat! Dr. Bell and her team went above and beyond to make sure that both my kitty and I were doing well. I would recommend this place over and over. No one ever wants to find themselves at the vet, but if you do, this place gives peace of mind. P.S - Huge shoutout to Danielle, best vet tech ever. You made Oswald and I feel very comfortable!

I did not get a good feeling from the vet at the start. She was then very insistent on the rabies vaccine, even though our cat is100% indoor cat. When we still said no, she said if our cat was bitten by a bat, the cat would have to killed, it's head cut off, and sent to Vancouver for testing! In all my years of dealing with vets, and other doctors for that matter, I have never experienced such unprofessional conduct. Is this any way to conduct business, trying to scare clients into vaccinating?

5 stars for sure! I was a disorganized, and worried mess today and honestly this was a really great experience. Everyone I spoke with was kind, and knowledgeable. I was given so much information to help Crowley. I wasn’t able to go in with my boy but I could watch from outside and be on the phone (until it died, lol I was seriously disorganized) and they did wonderfully. Huge rave to all the staff!

I can't praise this clinic enough! We adopted our first kitten from the Pacific Cat Clinic and all of the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in minimizing my new-owner jitters. When our kitty suddenly became sick, the vets were quick to respond and helpful in diagnosing her (just a minor stomach bug that was quickly fixed once diagnosed). When I stop in to buy food, the staff always ask me how my cat is doing - by name!
