Dr Misiaszek is in a class of her own - I truly can not say enough good things about her. It is clear to my husband and I that she is passionate about her profession and it is evident through both her care for our dog, Enzo, as well as how she invests into her space to ensure she has what it takes to go above and beyond any expectations we, or any of her pet owners may have. Her clinic and team are equipped to be fear free (this is the only vet that our anxiety ridden dog does not tremble in complete fear), she has state of the art technology, and she has taken soo much pride in the design of her clinic to ensure she is there for the animals who come through her door! We would, without hesitation, recommend Dr M to anyone in search of a new vet - if you visit her, be prepared to be wowed by her and her team!

Once I came here with my 2 years husky mix and I felt like they tried to milk my wallet. One of the women there was acting like my dog had some SERIOUS problems which I knew it wasn't that bad. Then they added things that I told them NOT to, and that I ended up paying for. I've been raising dogs since I was 5. Probably they thought I was another fool who didn't know anything about dogs or they thought that I had lots of money to toss around lol. After a few months they started to send me letters to my address saying that I HAD TO TAKE MY DOG TO THEIR VET CLINIC because my dog might be seriously ill. Well guess what?Thanks God my dog is ok . I would never go back there again.

My experience with Tamarack Veterinary Clinic was fantastic. When I booked the appointment staff were helpful and informative regarding my questions. Due to covid restrictions, they asked me to wait outside during the appointment, but they made me feel very comfortable sending my puppy in with them and he was clearly happy and comfortable with them as well. They seem to really care about the animals here. My puppy is always nervous going to the vet. But when he's leaving he seems to always come out with some new friends. They treat my pet with the respect and love I would treat my family with. They are upfront and honest about any costs and they don't try and push unnecessary treatments or vaccines. It is also in a great location as it is just off the Henday. This makes it ideal to get to even though it's not in my area.

Dr Suzanne was wonderful with my cat Felicity who has been sick for a few months now. Once there we were put into the cat room which has an amazing cat tree and cube that Felice went to relax in. She took her time and was really gentle with my girl. She did bloodwork and blood pressure test (the vet tech let Felice go into the cube just to relax more and covered it with a towel). The blood tests didn't reveal much so I was referred to a specialist to finally get answers. I was still unsure what to do, and Dr Suzanne phoned me and spent awhile talking to me to help me understand what might be going on and answered all my questions. I told her that the specialist only want a consultation not an ultrasound and she said if I had any issues with the vet to let her know and she will talk to them to get it done that day. When I told her Felice got car sick (which is why I didn't want multiple trips for my 14 year old cat) she prescribed an anti nausea that I could pick up at a clinic near me and said she will keep in touch. An amazing vet who truly cares!

I recently took my plump little dog to the clinic for her to have a weigh-in and to be provided with a suitable diet plan. The clinic continues to provide sound COVID protocols and when I went in I had to sign a form and then I had to wait a few minutes. I was the only person in the small reception area at that time. Shortly afterwards, a couple came in with a child in a stroller, and other people came out of patient rooms in the clinic and things became very crowded in the front area. I was still waiting for my dog to be taken for her weigh-in at this time. After some of these people were attended upon, my dog was taken to be weighed and then brought back to me. I saw both vets and other staffers all moving about. the staff member who had weighed my dog began to try albeit unsuccessfully to prepare the diet plan for my dog because not only did she have to try to calculate the diet plan, but she had to deal with people coming in and approaching the front desk, and also take payment from people coming out of rooms. This was getting to be a bit much. All I wanted was the diet plan and then I could leave. The unfortunate staff member doing the diet plan continued to thank me for my patience every so often, so I knew she was trying her hardest to get the plan done. I know that she felt very bad for making me wait as long as I had to. She continually was interrupted. I think it would be great if this clinic was able to assign one person "front desk duty" to deal with people coming in and out and take payments, leaving the techs who are helping clients to do exactly that and not be interrupted. I felt very bad for the staff person working on my dog's diet plan and I know she was trying as hard as she could to get it done for me. I believe my visit there took much longer than it should have but there was so much going on in the reception area, it couldn't be helped. I also think this clinic deserves a bigger reception area, together with a designated "front desk" receptionist who can deal with clients coming in and out, and payments being made. However, except for the chaos going on in the reception area, I continue to be happy with the services I receive, but wish they had a better solution with regard to the handling of the reception area. Everyone is friendly, tho looking pressured to hurry up with me so they can move on to the next case.

I had my sweet little boy Boba ( he's a cat ) in this morning. I called yesterday and got an appointment for early this morning and he took really good care of him. They were great with explaining what was going on with Boba and helping to make sure he will be okay. Even with their Covid restrictions I felt totally comfortable. The woman who came to pick up boba from just outside for his drop off was very nice and had a great energy. 10 / 10 recommend. Very professional and personable even when you as the pet parent could not go inside the clinic. Thank you for helping my sweet little guy.

They will try to charge you the examination fee every vaccination. They keep calling and following up the payments but not when you ask them to send you something. Pretty disappointed. Also they will put your pets in a kennel while waiting without letting you know.

My dog is a rescue and I took him to the team at Tamarack Vet Clinic for his first appointment in September 2017. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The doctor is very attentive and professional. We have regular appointments now and the staff even make sure that we are able to get into a room quickly instead of waiting in the main area because my dog doesn't do well around other animals. Dexter's allergies were awful when he first came in but now we have him on a special food and allergy medication. Thanks to the help of the clinic, Dexter's allergies are under control and he isn't so scared to go in to the clinic anymore.The staff always make sure that he is comfortable and when he gets his shots they distract him with treats so he has no idea what is going on. We also received a welcome card and a Christmas card from the staff. If you are looking for a Vet that actually listens and cares about your fur babies I definitely recommend Tamarack Vet Clinic.

This was our first meeting at this clinic. From our first interaction at the desk, to speaking with the vet, Dr Vanessa was professionalism and compassion for our pet. Unfortunately, the outcome of our visit was sad, Dr Vanessa and her assistant Jenna (I think) was full of compassion. They successfully supported my difficult cat through FHO surgery, and most recently I brought my other kitty in for a check up. The staff is very caring and genuinely concerned for your pet. They take the time to introduce themselves to your pet so the evasive tests are not so stressful. They are totally into having the pets come around just to say hi which is good because then they don't recognize the vet as being the place you go when you get your temp checked and shots...parking....well, that's not their fault but it is a bit of a gong show.

I moved in the area and my dogs paw had been cut and bleeding for a few days, had panicked and called Tamarack Vet, I explained that his foot was bleeding and they said I should bring him in in case it gets infected, so i did. The staff is very nice I have no complaints there however, I was extremely disappointed with the Veterinarian herself, she was more concerned with my dog being on a Raw Diet and basically criticizing that rather than tending to my dogs paw. I paid for testing and waited a good hour before she came and told me that there was some Bactria present and he needed antibiotics, but it was NOT infected. Long story short I paid over $300.00 they came in with an invoice with all the recommended treatments and bandaging costs. I didn't have 400-500 $ to spend on his Paw that day so I wanted to get the basics which they recommended was the Antibiotics. I asked if they could at least maybe just bandage his foot and they said "no that takes time and costs money" and I was shocked, I spent $200 on tests and paid for medication and they couldn't even offer to sell me anything to bandage his foot it was just a flat NO so i told her I was concerned with his foot and wanted to cover it. They offered me a USED plastic IV bag? and they put it over his leg and it fell right off. The reason i'm writing this review now is because recently my dog has had "happy tail" and his tail was shooting blood, and this was far worse than his paw, another long story short, I took my dog to my regular vet, I paid $10 for the bandaging, the vet herself came out and showed me how to wrap his tail and I was on my way. The whole time I was in the Tamarack vet I felt they only wanted $$$$$$$$$$$

Dr. Suzanne, Dr. Vanessa and their incredible team are the definition of veterinary excellence! Their compassion and care for the animals they treat is incredible. Our dog, Roxy, has severe anxiety when she goes to the veterinary clinic for procedures or check up. They take their time and get to know Roxy and help her feel comfortable while she is there. Their fear free approach and patience with our dog is very humbling. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a supportive and caring vet clinic. I guarantee you will have a positive experience even though taking your pet to the vet can be stressful and worrisome. They take their time to explain the procedures, potential side effects, and recovery timelines. They always follow up with a phone call shortly after the appointment to make sure things are Okay.

Twas our very first pet that we brought to this clinic, the whole family was there for moral support (all the 4 of us for just one tiny kitten, Archie). We knew nothing about pet rules here in Canada so we were more anxious than our pet when we came to the clinic and all the people there, starting from the front desk lady up to the vet were all very, very accommodating and genuinely nice. Since moving to this area last summer, we have made this our new location for our fur baby’s medical care. We’ve always felt welcomed, even with the Covid measures in place. When calling to make an appointment, I have found that we are able to get in very quickly, which makes this a reliable business. What I value the most is the attention to ensuring our dog has time to gain trust with the assistant and vet in charge. Of course, an unending supply of treats helps, too. ???? The soft voices, pets and off to the side approach to touching the dog also very much makes a positive difference in making Meeka feel safe. Another very much appreciated vote for using this business is that the fees for treatment haven’t been unreasonable to date. Being on a fixed income, makes this a very valid reason for finding a clinic that doesn’t gouge it’s clients.

They are the best! Took my cat storm who hates vets and she was so happy made friends with the vet tech and vet. Also have 3 dogs one very shy. They treated her so good. She's usually on my lap trembling but was so comfortable. Also way more reasonable price wise. My older dog has arthritis. They really took the time to talk to me about best treatment and what we decided on worked great you can't tell hes 14. Other vets tried different treatment didn't work and couldn't explain well why or how that medication would work. Ultimately why I had to look else where. If you have a fur family and want vets that really care come here!

We switched over our two cats last summer during the pandemic as our normal vet was not operating. We were recommended this vet and have not been disappointed. They are a no fear clinic, which puts our minds to ease as my cats can become a bit stressed when going to the vet. They always treat them with the utmost care. The only thing, is I wish they would allow you to be with your pet when they are getting their check up etcs. as our one cat is very anxious and timid that she shakes for hours after, but I get it with everything going on right now with Covid-19 EDIT: I am changing my review. They advised in the review that they would work with us and our cats. I brought my one cat in and due to his temperament that day they couldn't finish the exam. Knowing that this was the case I called and asked to go in with which on the phone was fine but when we got there was a different story. Like why post here and say something but than not stand by it? Further one cat received blood work and they recommended every additional test as levels where slightly elevated 1 point above normal. Got a second opinion and third and was advised it was unnecessary and just a money grab. Won't go back again

My cat Flower previously had a severe head trauma years ago. So whenever she gets hurt, or shows sings of being in pain, both her anxiety and mine goes 0 to 100. Tamarack Vet Clinic is where the doctors and one of the techs who helped save her life now work. They let me drop my baby girl off first thing in the morning so that I knew she would be safe while I headed to work. They did the best exam they could without stressing her out to much, and then gave me a call. I’m glad to say my Flower is back to her normal annoying, over attached, no personal boundaries self. They’re professionalism and care for the animals physical and mental health is amazing. I know I can always count on them to take care of my fur family. If your looking for a vet clinic that truly cares, Tamarack Veterinary Clinic is where to go. Forever grateful for all of the staffs hard work and dedication!!

They were able to get us in at the last minute. It was an emergency as our dog had diariah and vomiting over the weekend. She was diagnosed and the vet was so kind, compassionate & knowledgeable. Our dog felt so much better with the prescribed treatment within just a few hours. The place was very clean & sanitized. Took my puppy here and from the get go the staff were kind, professional and very friendly. They answered all of my questions with an abundance of information and I felt very secure in letting them take her without my presence (pandemic and lockdown kept me out of the office unfortunately). They called me twice while she was in there and filled me in on everything I needed to know from how she did to follow up details. I dont even know how to put this into words. I have had animals all my life and I have never come across a vet clinic that treats my 5 fur babies as if they were their own. The owner and vet dr. Suzanne will take the time and explain everything to you and make sure you understand everything they are doing. The office administrator/Owner Amy has the biggest heart of them all. Her love of animals is like no other. She is very passionate about the clinic and the level of care provided. Dr. Vanessa is just as amazing! They truly care about every animal that comes to see them. The staff Shantel, Kelsey and Brittany are always friendly and welcoming. They really are knowledgeable and so kind. They clinic staff prides themselves on being fear free and will do everything in the best interest of your animals. I have recommended many of my family and friends to Tamarak and will continue to do so in the future!!
