We've brought our dogs here for a few years now. They are super responsive and are pretty great. The vets are super supportive. Sometimes its hard to get a hold of them by phone and have to call multiple times. I had to get a prescription filled and they were checking to see if they had the meds and would call to let me know when the script would be done. I had to call 5 days later and they said that it had just gotten missed. It was a bummer. but they're always pleasant folks.

My dog at a couple grapes I rushed to this place. They wanted a $500 deposit just to look at him and said it could be up to $500 to treat him. I grabbed the dog and left and straight to 97street location pet emerge. They didn’t require this $500 deposit at all. Told me exactly the cost. Sifton only cares about one thing and that’s your wallet. Never again for me.

In late August 2014, I took Fuzzle to this veterinarian for a checkup on her coughing issue. Doctor Blaes examined her and concluded that her condition was caused by something digestive and issued some medication to give to her. I told her that there was no symptoms which would indicate that this was the problem, and enquired on whether or not it could be respiratory and if x-rays should be done. Dr. Blaes said that it's unlikely based on her examination. So after four days of using the medication, her condition began to worsen. A different medication was then prescribed. Several days later I contacted them to inform them about Fuzzle's other symptoms, and it was recommended that I keep her at the veterinarian for observation. This was a complete waste of money because nothing was learned about what was going on with her. A few more days was spent at home with the same medication and no improvement. Finally, "Doctor" Blaes decided on an x-ray which revealed that Fuzzle had a serious lung infection. I was quite upset over this as I had already wasted plenty of precious time and money on non-related treatment. Fuzzle was given an antibiotic which proved to be ineffective. A new antibiotic was then given and I took her home. Two days later, Fuzzle began to cry and was struggling to walk. I then took her in and was told by the staff that she was dying. I then authorized euthanasia as this proved to be the only option. I cannot recommend using this veterinarian based on my experience with them. I see people had good experiences, but mine was a nightmare which could've been prevented with proper precautions. Fuzzle was a great kitty with plenty of years left in her. It's heartbreaking that her life was cut short by malpractice.

The entire staff is very kind and caring to my Pom and I have had nothing but good feelings about the way they care for my dog. The vets and assistants are outstanding, they are thorough and understanding and they make this first time "doggi mom" very confident in the diagnoses and advice they provide.

We love our clinic. Took the new puppy today and it was a great experience for everyone. When we took our first puppy there to get spayed, it was such a scary experience for the whole family because this was our first pet, but the staff was very helpful and put us at ease. Now we need to book in doggo #2 for a spay procedure, and we aren't worried at all. We know this is the best place for our fur babies. (added 7jan2022) Still loving our vet. Kind, polite receptionists and our pets are happy and well taken care of there.

I confess I first went to hermitage veterinary clinic, and was so bothered by the doctor I came to Sifton instead. All I want is a doctor that CARES about the animals. I have all the money in the world and could not care less about the cost of ensuring my dogs health. It makes me sick that most vets just open my wallet strings and nothing else. Dr. Boyachuck (I hope I spell that right) is wonderful, clearly cares about the animals health and gave so many treatment options. It’s a painful moment to find out my dog has breast cancer... I am thankful to have a Doctor this caring be on my side.

Blown away. Amazing customer service during a difficult time. My dad brought my old buddy Max here and his description of how they treated both my dad and Max during his final moments really impressed me. A week later I recieved a very personalized sympathy card which was incredible. I was not expecting such a positive experience during this time. I encourage Sifton to consider getting more vets to work in this clinic. As of late I've needed both of my dogs to receive care, but each time I call in there is no availability, and I end up having to pay more to take my dogs to a completely different/new clinic or emergency vet. So I am finding the veterinarian is overbooked & not accessible & that doesn't work for me at all, when I have to go elsewhere each time I need something. Part of the purpose of having a regular vet, is so I am not paying higher vet fees for assessments, because the vet is familiar with my pet & we have rapport & a file open. Vets charge more to see animals they have not seen before. So I am spending more to get my pets seen & taken care of elsewhere. As a result of unavailability & having to go to many other locations to get my pets taken care of: I don't feel helped as of late by Sifton Park Veterinary clinic. I am now am switching my dogs over to Hermitage, where there is more availability & more vets working to receive my pets. I was with Sifton for a long time, but it's not functional nor practical for me when I cannot get my pets in to be seen, when they are having health challenges. On top of also never having any weekend availability, there are vet clinics that do have more availability & do have options for weekend visits as well. I sincerely encourage Sifton to consider this on the business front, that your availability & what you are offering is very limited & strained.

Friendly staff, highly knowledgeable! Pricing is reasonable, they don't push you into anything. One of the better vet clinics I have been to. Treat pets like they are their own. They are considerate, especially when having to put your pet down.

I foster dogs through rescue agencies. The vets, techs, and receptionists here are amazing. If I really need a vet appt I can leave the dog with them and they will get to him/her whenever they can (if there are no open appts for the day). I just had a foster dog pass away and they let me have time with her, lit some candles and played some soft music.Got to hold her while she passed to doggy heaven. I've dealt with every person who works there and they are all fantastic.

I love this clinic. The doctors are amazing as are the rest of the staff , who are kind and efficient. I had to say good bye to my dogs Tycho and Maxine here, (cancer and heart attack) as well as my fat fur kittie Ferris (ate a bag of buns including all the plastic) and they were so gentle and lovely with them, easing them out of this world painlessly. My three remaining furkids are hearty and healthy in part due to this clinic's care.

the vet I had was very unhelpful, did not give me all the information about my dogs mites. said their was only 1 option, at this time she only had one little scab on her skin, they did not treat her case right! and my dog got worse they said they couldn't do anything for a month so don't came back until then . finally i forced myself in . she was very rude and condescending , finally gave me all my options, by that time, she had lost almost all her fur and scabs all over her skin. Once again the medication they gave me did not work after spending almost $1000. went to hermitage vet they said it was the worst they had ever seen and treated her properly with way more respect, with something that could have been fixed right away instead my poor puppy had to suffer. I let it go and tried again to give them a chance the lady on the phone was rude couldn't find my file and wanted to charge me for something every other vet I called said was free. would not recommend this place they are very condescending, hermitage vet or green bank vet are a places I recommend 100%

We recently had to put down our little cat. All the staff at the Sifton Clinic were compassionate and sensitive at this trying time. Great care was taken with our cat and with us as well. We were provided with details as we progressed through each step. They definitely made this final step as soothing as they could. A week later we received a beautiful card along with a handmade note with our cats paw print which was signed offering condolences from all members of the staff.

I just adopted two cats from the humane society and took them in for their free first checkup. The staff were friendly, helpful and on time (important for the furry people confined to carrying cases!). I immediately noticed Dr. Eva has a great touch with animals, one of my cats wouldn't stop purring despite Dr. Eva trying to hear her heartbeat and when the other one, like a mini furry hulk, tried to escape its temporary cardboard carrying case with dogs in the waiting room they were helpful! Thank-you! My first impression makes me feel confident and comfortable in taking my animals to this clinic to be cared for.

Not a good experience at all. Access to front door and you have to call , entry door from the petsmart is locked as well. The clerk at the desk she can see you through the glasswall literally 10 feet away and is ignoring you, probably to lazy to offer help or Facebook is more interesting rather than provide customer service, too bad. I'm just looking for another vet. They making obviously enough money. AVOID!
