100% every five star review is accurate. Very clean Clinic. Exceptionally positive, compassionate, understanding techs. Brought our cat in with an abscess and I had a two-year-old in tow. When the cat began to make noises as she wasn't comfortable, my two-year-old began to cry. The vet stopped immediately and was incredibly conscious of her emotional state. Had a assistant bring her a jumbo freezie. LOL. Well let me tell you, that was the happiest two-year-old I've ever seen. Their prices are better than any Clinic I've called around to. They got us in within an hour and a half of me calling for the first time. And they were very good at conveying all the information that I needed. The assistant didn't mind answering all my silly questions, and I left there feeling very positive. Our cat is doing very well and responding excellent to treatment after only 24 hours. I will absolutely 100% use this Clinic again. Even if we weren't in the vicinity, I would drive here especially.

I'M SO HAPPY I STOPPED IN! Every single staff member clearly loves animals, treating myself and my puppy like we their only client even though we're clearly not. I felt welcomed and safe, as did my puppy. We were educated from beginning to end and provided more than we could ask for with his physical, requisite shots and personal discussion from the vet. This was followed up with my another staff member who specializes and provided a personal consultation about puppies training and diet. I didn't even have to ask but his nails were clipped - something I think most pet owners fear doing themselves. I happened to pop in to the veterinarian because I go to Oxford Physical Wellness next door (also a 5 star experience). There's something about the folks in this Plaza. They are amazing!

Both Doctors were friendly, compassionate and caring. I had one of my bunnies neutered and of all the bunnies I have had spayed or neutered, this was the best surgery.Prince Charming had less scarring and healed faster than any others. Highly recommend the clinic with it's state of the art technology. Prices are very resonable as well ( better than any other clinic that treats pocket pets).

I have been going to this vet office for years now! Dr. Rayala is the vet that is in this field for the animals not the business. He's honest and fair and genuinely cares about my dog. I have been to places where I felt taken advantage of and my money was more important than my animal. This is not the case with Dr. Rayala .. so thankful for this vet and his awesome staff!

Fast and friendly service at a fair price. The doctor took the time to go over all of the options for my dog and discuss costs associated with each as well as pros and cons of each treatment. The checkup costs was around $55.00 compared to around $95.00 from the other 3 places I called. I am quite satisfied with the service I received and would recommend this place to anyone in need of veterinary services. Hope this helps!

I met Dr. Wesam Awadin a year ago when she provided emergency care for my dog. I loved her way with my dog: she truly cares about the animals in her clinic, plus she was very generouswith her time and attention to me - providing lots of information and answering all of my questions. She is now our regular vet. When I adopted my dog 3 years ago, he had a mouth full of rotten teeth. My previous vet had given me a quote to remove the rotten teeth that seemed high... so when I met Dr. Awadin and she gave a quote that was 1/3 the amount my previous vet had given, I knew I found a great vet who wasn't trying to "nickel and dime" me. Today was the day for dental surgery and everything went very, very well and my dog is recovering nicely at home. Long story short, I completely trust Dr. Awadin to give fantastic care to my furbaby. I am sooo glad I found her!!

I can't say enough amazing things about Dr. Tamer and Dr. Wesam. We've been going to them for 6 years usually for scheduled appointments, a few times for emergencies and no matter what the situation they've always been so receptive, helpful, kind, and genuinely caring for our animals. They've always given us many options to discuss and really emphasis what is best for our pets. We had the unfortunate circumstance of putting one of our pets down a few years ago, we asked Dr. Tamer if he could do it at our home. He was very professional, our Manu was at ease and it was the best way it could happen. I could keep going on with stories of our animals but just know bringing your pets here would be a great choice.

Worst experience ever. My mom took our dog in to get a checkup, found out he has stage five heart murmur. We aren't rich so my mom was inquiring about prices some how the doctor got offended (could have been a language barrier) and went off on my mom causing her to cry. He claimed we were questioning his professional opinion/ education. My mom made it very clear that she trusts his judgment and she just had questions about the PRICES not anything else. The doctor ended up telling my mom to leave (keep in mind he just told us our dog has a life threatening heart problem). As my mother was leaving it could be heard very clearly that there was gossiping about us and soon after the staff treated us very poorly. We ended up going to a different clinic where they were happy to answer any questions and give the care our dog needs. I hope no one else has to experience the abuse we endured at this clinic. Especially as we are going through a difficult time from the news about our pet.

The only issues with the Superstore is that you have to buy 2 of anything to get the sales. Buying here if your single does not make sense. It's a very nice store but prefer smaller stores that the sales apply to just 1 item.

This vet took my cat under its wing and now shes doing better. After being jerked around my our previous vet who clearly mistreated her while she was under their care (didn't feed her or give her water) we asked around and came across Oxford Animal Hospital. Honestly I'm so happy with the result, since our previous vet kept jerking us around the bladder stone in my cat grew bigger and she needed a surgery. The process was easy and they took care of her while she was there from beginning to end. After my cats surgery she wouldn't drink or eat to be able to receive her medicine so they (free of charge) gave her a shot instead of oral medication which was extremely helpful. Clearly this vet cares about your animal during and after their time with the pet which is exactly what we've been looking for. I'm happy and my cat isn't stressed anymore when she comes home from the vet.

I brought my kitty, Token, in for a couple of concerns and Dr. Tamer Mahmoud was so helpful and kind. He gave me more economical options to improve Token's teeth before recommending more serious, expensive surgeries. He showed me how to clean Token's ears and gave me much relief in the anxiety I had about Token over quite a few thing. I love this place and I'm so happy I started coming here. Also the vet assistants/front desk people are awesome and friendly!

Dr. Rayala and the staff at Oxford Animal Hospital are awesome. They always greet you with a smile and are always so good with my dogs. I have been bringing my two dogs (one of which was treated there when rescued by S.C.A.A.R) there for a little over 4 years and have nothing bad to say about them. I have been in the office for everything from shots to dental surgery and have never had a problem. They give great advice over the phone and give great after care instructions and always encourage you to call for any questions or concerns.They have very competitive prices and are worth every penny. I have had many dogs and been to many vets for routine appointments and major health conditions and haven't had a vet's office that I trust as much as Dr. Rayala and the team. I will never take my pets to any other clinic, the staff here are phenomenal and D. Tamer is kind, compassionate and honest. We had brought our cat in for a check up and unfortunately had to put him down the same day. Dr Tamer was very kind and comforted me that we made the right decision for our fur baby. The staff was compassionate and accommodating, they set up a private room for us with a cozy blanket for our cat and gave us as much time as we needed. We've brought our other animals here before and have had an exceptional experience every time. I can't thank you enough for making a terrible situation feel a little bit better knowing he was in the best hands possible. We also received his paw prints and a very nice card a couple days later, this is something I will cherish deeply.

Seriously such a wonderful vet. The pricing is more than fair and they actually care. My cat had an infected eye and within two days we visited 3 times plus I bought lysine(a vitamin to help with her immune system) which still wasn't even $200 total. The most recent visit we called at 630 pm when they close at 7 and they were able to get us in last minute(we arrived at 650) and we did not feel rushed out the door at all. Our kitty was super happy there as well rolling around and purring. Thanks for everything!

Excellent staff and very professional. Got me in right away for an emergency appointment on a Stat holiday. My canine fur baby was ill and they were able to talk to me in plain English, explain to me what was going on, give me an estimate prior to proceeding, showing me what tests were required and what can wait. Kept me informed and were able to do tests and bloodwork in a short amount of time while I waited and hugely appreciate the covid friendly in person visit with the vet in order to personally talk to him instead of waiting in a vehicle while they did the work needed. Took our 5 month female border collie to get her shots. Dr. Wesam Awadin was the one who saw us and she is so amazing. Very friendly and great service! She answered all our questions and even gave us advice about the risks of not getting spayed and what would be best for our dog. She didn't push us to get anything we didn't need or include excessive procedures on our bill (as we've had that experience with another vet). I highly recommend her to book appointments with and she explains things so it's simple to understand. As well the receptionist Jennifer is very kind and friendly. She made us feel very welcome and it was easy to talk to her. We asked her to print quite a few things like vaccine certificates and she said it was no problem. She answered any other questions we had and overall the service at this clinic was amazing!

I called needing to have my dog euthanized today due to health issues that had just reached the limit and they fit me in the same day within a few hours. My 11 year old daughter wanted to sit in. They were calm, helpful, professional with both of us. They gave my dog a blanket and water. They were very nice to my dog. They explained options nicely. They were not pushy at all about these options. Everything went very smoothly. My dog was very comfortable. The bill was very reasonable, less than most places. And we walked away feeling OK. I went last year with my cat. As a student, I did not have funds set aside to pay for my visit. When I expressed this, they were willing to work with me. After the receptionist checked with the vet, they were able to offer me a payment plan for my cats medicine. Luckily a friend was able to loan me the money. I highly recommended this vet, purely for the fact they put animal welfare first.

An affordable, welcoming vet! I have been going to Dr. Rayala for almost 4 years. The rescue I fostered for has an account set up and has been taking all of the dogs their for years. Dr. Rayala and staff is always very caring, understanding, and never pushes any extras on you. I started taking my own dog back in the beginning of 2015 and now am taking my newly adopted dog. I would highly reccomend Dr. Rayala to anyone on a budget or anybody who doesn’t want to be pushed on getting extras they don’t need.

It was a devastating visit for me but the vet and the staff were super amazing. And the fee was reasonable, my cats original vet was going to charge me all kinds of additional fees for her trip over the Rainbow Bridge. So I choose to take her here instead for two fees and a personal room for her final journey. The original vet was going to take her from me in the parking lot and then charge me an extra 15.00 fee for the needle and a 95 - 120 exam fee for a 18 year old cat that was basically at deaths door for the last two days. Dr T was amazing, gentle and kind as were his assistants, sorry did not get your names. Extremely happy with their compassion and service

I brought my dog here initially for a dental consultation. At first, it all seemed very expensive and I’m not gonna lie, I felt like I was getting ripped off. BUT Dr. Tamer, despite mine and my partners initial suspicion took the very best care of our pup. He found a heart murmur that no vet had ever mentioned or even had an inkling of, (she’s 11 years old) which I think she had been living with for a while. Despite the risk for complications with her surgery she was just fine, I believe due to Dr.Tamers investigative care. He has also give me two free bags of dental dog food. Thank you Dr. Tamer and the rest of the staff for your compassion and great care with my sweet girl.

They booked me in within a week or two. While, the earliest spot other places gave me was a month or two away. I am happy they accommodated my request to meet early. The receptionist was welcoming, polite, and responsive. The vet was patient, friendly, and knew what she was doing. I like how honest the veterinarian is and I’ll never regret switching from our old vet to Oxford animal hospital. Over a week ago, fiancé and I made the decision to put our dog down. Just wish I asked for, (or was offered) a quality of life assessment before putting Thunder down. We also had to wait about 30 minutes before my fiancé and I could go in to see our 13yr old pup before he was put down. Not sure if it’s because of Covid delays… anyway, Thunder’s urn arrived exactly the following Friday. Forever grateful for how quickly I got it. If I ever get another dog, maybe I’ll bring them back to this hospital. Best vet we’ve had for Thunder.

I recently took my Doberman Pinscher puppy Rex to Dr. Tamer Mahmoud for a check up and to have some stitches after an unfortunate attack at the local dog park left him wounded and bleeding. Dr. Tamer was amazing - so kind, compassionate and thorough in his exam and explanation of everything that was happening. He made a horrible experience much better for us and made sure our visit and follow-up was affordable and pleasant. He is a wonderful vet and I won't go anywhere else from now on. The vet took a quick look at my dogs teeth and told me they were loose and 70-80% of them needed to be removed! My husband and I were extremely upset because our poor dog was in pain but the estimate was 1000. I felt like he couldn't tell that many teeth needed to be pulled with how short he examined her not to mention my husband had had her there a week prior and he told him she just needed a cleaning!! The vet charged us 60 for meds and the syringe wasn't filled to proper amount in one of the syringes... We took her to another vet the next day and he said she needs 1 or two teeth pulled max and most likely none! The vet told me he was clearly trying to take our money! I will never go there again!!

Changing my review after trying to get my cat back in after his UTI didn't clear up. They gave us 3 days pain meds, 5 days muscle relaxant, 7 days antibiotics (which didn't seem like enough). He seemed to be getting better until the last day of the antibiotics. After calling and telling them this, they said they were too busy to get him back in but this seemed like an emergency. They said they would call us if they had time but wouldn't help us find an alternative, and wouldn't give us anything in the meantime. I'm very disappointed.

I've been to several other animal hospitals in London in search of the best one. I've chosen to be the regular at Oxford animal hospital since 2014. Not only they provide services at affordable rates but also the doctor is very friendly and takes time to thoroughly examine my 9 years old cat. He would answer all my questions and offers to show me how to do things before leaving the exam room. Only downside would be that it is quite tough to make a left turn to the place at Oxford st. but as soon as you make the turn, there is a spacious parking lot to park your vehicle.

This Veterinarian really knows what he's talking about and really helped me to get my dog neutered. My dog has unilateral chryptoidism and the Dr. spent 3 hours looking for the missing one in my dogs abdomen. The surgery was perfectly okay and he's healed right up. Excellent experience. My 6 month old pup went in for her spay. She is very shy and skiddish around new people, especially men. The girls were great with her and she took no time to warm up to them. Dr. Visweswara was amazing with my pup, she barked and growled at first, but within a minute was totally fine with him. She let him do the pre-exam with no issues! The prices are very reasonable. Was unfortunately a waste of time to come here. Took my dog in as it was one of the only places open on a saturday, i should have waited for my regular vet. My concern was barely addressed and the vet just kept insisting my dog has allergies ( saw my regular vet today, he does not) and that we could "immediately put him on allergy medication". Allergy meds are not just a casual thing, they are hard on the organs. I knew my dog likely needed a minor surgery, and it was quoted at $1100 at Oxford. Got my quote from my regular vet today, and it is less than half of the quoted price at Oxford. Avoid this place, they seem to only be about money and not quality care. I knew immediately after going to this place that I should get a second opinion from my usual vet. Lesson learned!

Prices a tad high - Didn't realize until I did some shopping around as I'm new to the north end but bottom line is that the animal was put first. Didn't feel pressured to spend a whole lot of money.

So I just had the most amazing experience yesterday. I brought my cat in because he was piddling on the floor every 10 minutes and was obviously in a lot of pain. When I arrived, the receptionist was beyond nice to me and my cat. She made small talk with me and cleaned up after my cat, who had piddled on the counter. The vet took me in right away, and was so very gentle and compassionate with my cat. I was a big baby, crying in the exam room, and he soothed all my fears and explained everything they were going to do to make my cat better. The receptionist even gave me a big hug on my way out. I really felt like I had left my kitty in good hands. While I was at home, the receptionist texted me photos of my kitty to show how he was doing. She updated me on the hour, letting me know when my cat was going in for xrays, and when he was all fixed up and ready to go home. She was super kind about my worries. She never once made me feel like I was obsessing, or like I was an inconvenience. Then when I went to go pick up my cat, the Vet gave me a tour of the facilities, and showed me the other animals (the baby kittens were soooo cute!!). I got to see the xray machine, and where they took my kitty to listen to his heart and lungs. The vet even showed me my cat's xray and walked me through it so I knew everything that I was looking at. He also walked me through my cat's urine analysis and showed me exactly how they know it's an infection and not a golf stone. In the end they went through all the charges for me and added a complimentary clipping. He explained exactly what medication was for what, and they supplied the food I needed to help him get better. The Vet never once made me feel like I had to rush, or like he had one foot out the door (like my doctor does to me when I go on to see him lol). He even took photos of my cat's teeth when he put him to sleep for the procedure, so that he could show me how my cat's teeth needed to be cleaned really badly. He had an estimate written up for the teeth cleaning just in case. In the end, I was SO pleased with their services, that I decided to sign my kitty up for a health plan (which happens to include dental work). It's a super reasonable price, and includes a LOT of stuff. Now its the following day, and I've already spoken to the receptionist once and the vet once as well just to check up on some questions I had. the Vet said I could call him 100 times that day, each time with a new question, and I'd never be bothering him. I've never felt so welcomed in my entire life. Hell, you can't get service like this from my own doctor! haha So now I'm taking my kitty back on Tuesday to get his teeth cleaned. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this vet hospital to anyone who ever has even the smallest of pet needs. I've never felt so welcomed or safe in my entire life. Thank you Oxford Animal Hospital for everything you've done for my kitty and I, we're eternally grateful <3

I became familiar with this clinic after my old cat became very ill. After years of struggling with diabetes I knew it was time to put her to sleep. I called around bc I had moved far away from my previous vet clinic and was hoping to find something more convenient. When I called to explain the situation the girl who answered the phone was amazing. She assured me that I would have as much time as I wanted with my cat Stabby, a private room, and she took all the information over the phone so I didn't have to deal with that in the aftermath of having to put my long time friend to sleep. When I called other clinics they actually wanted to charge me to examine my cat that was to be euthanized. As if I didn't know as her owner for 15 plus years that it was her time. The price at Oxford was more than reasonable and the care, attention and sensitivity the staff and Dr Mahmoud showed was very comforting. They trusted me and I trusted them. Weeks later I received a very thoughtful card in the mail in memoriam of my cat. A few months after, I rescued another cat. He recently got into a fight and suffered a wound. I had been laid off a couple months prior and they were willing to work with me on payment arrangements which I am so very grateful for as times are tough. They treated me with the utmost respect and did what was best for my cat and will do a free follow up as well. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. As a life long multiple animal owner I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for a moment. Great clinic. Thanks!!

You never plan on visiting the emergency vet clinic and honestly you probably never want to have to visit, but unfortunately being a pet owner you dont always have a choice. I had to pay these guys a visit yesterday after my 90 lb dog bella was attacked at the north Edmonton dog park off 127 ave. My girlfriend had her off leash when another dog viciously attacked her, and with open wounds on her chest and arm we had to stop in a hurry. From the very second we walked into the clinic to the minute we had left, everyone was unbelievably friendly, and extremely attentive to our needs. They calmed us down and reassured us and even more importantly helped us when it came to the costs. Most clinics would probably have taken advantage of our situation but they did NOT. We had explained our situation and rather then see a monster bill at the time I picked my dog up, the price had literally been set to what they quoted with a variance of roughly 40.00. I can imagine some people have seen quotes and then ended up paying in the hundreds and even thousands more. WE GREATLY APPRECIATED THAT. Honesty is not easy to come by in today's world and these guys were amazing. WE both recommend this clinic to everyone and hope others can enjoy the same experience we did. Sincerely Dani and Lukasz

I can not stress enough how wonderful this vet clinic, staff and owners are. I came home to my two dogs in the kennel and one covered in blood... never had an aggression problem with my larger breed dog before and my shihtzu is very easy going. Locked them up together for company but today after work it wasn't good... my male shihtzu had his eye split open and his neck was soaked in blood. As I don't get home until roughly 5:30 I was going to call the emergency vet clinic but as I been to this vet before and my aunt uses it frequently I thought I'd try... as I called I asked the hours of operation she told me 6:00 they close but wondered what the issue is. I told her and she asked the owner who was the vet working this evening and they said it's okay bring him in... I got there almost in time for them to close but knowing he needed stitches it wouldn't be a short visit. They all stayed and hour and a half late to not only work on my dog but they we're so warm and welcoming not even bothered they were way past close. It also saved me what would have been double at the emergency clinic. I was nervous of giving him his pain meds as I knew he wouldn't eat tonight after the trauma she then offered to give him a main med needle with no added cost just to put me at ease as well as gave him his antibiotics for me so I wouldn't have to struggle with him tonight. I'm so thankful for her and the staff for litterally saving my dogs life and doing it on their own time. I would highly recommend this vet to any one as I've been there for just seasonal allergies for my other dog and they were just as great then.

We have come here for YEARS through four separate pets. I’ve not had any reason to complain up until now. HOWEVER, we got a golden doodle puppy, brought him for his scheduled vaccinations. We had to reschedule 3 times as each time his booster appt was scheduled, they didn’t have nikko on the schedule and would rebook for a week out. I called for our appt today, as it happened to many times I wanted to double check. Came for our appt and were told we have to start tha vaccines all over again because we’re so late. Okay, sure, but I’m not paying for them right? “Well he needs them, so it’s out of our hands.” WHAT? She check with doctor, comes back to the phone and says “the doctor says you can come back or not, up to you!” Ummmmm so, because you guys had to continue to rebook me when my booked appts were not on your system THREE TIMES, I’m out $175? “Yeah I don’t know what to tell you because that couldn’t have happened, if it were me I would have squeezed you in” AWESOME!! Needless to say, we’ll find a new vet.

Went here a few months ago and I am glad I have found a better vet since... The vet at this clinic didn't seem to care about my cat at all, and then he recommended a dry food diet for weight loss. I knew even then that that was not true, as every vet I have ever talked to has said that the only way for a cat to lose weight is through wet food. Would not go to this vet ever again, as they clearly don't care and don't even provide accurate information in the best interest of your pet.

Oxford Animal Hospital is the best vet in the city. I have seen both the vets there for my dog and they are both amazing. They are caring and compassionate and always take the time to address your concerns and reassure you. The front desk staff is also always super friendly and kind. This place is staffed with people who all go above and beyond to give me a good experience. They do follow up calls a few days after appointments to make sure your pet is doing good which is so nice. One example I have of when this vet went above and beyond for my family is this summer when I was travelling the Southern Gulf Islands in BC with my dog. I last minute decided I wanted to visit the US. I called the vet to explain my situation and the front desk did not hesitate to send me copies of all of my dogs records via email so we would be able to cross the border. They turned a great vacation into an even better one. They also have competitive prices and there is never a long wait to see a vet. Way to go Oxford Animal Hospital!!

Amazing! When I got my puppy 3 days later she seemed really sick. They were able to get me in the same day last minute notice. The vet was very knowledgeable and diagnosed her with parvovirus. They put together a kit for me to take home and care for her and wrote down all of the instructions and told me what to expect throughout treating her. When I called with questions they gave me good advice and am so happy to have had them throughout the process. My dog is doing well now thanks to them. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a vet!

I showed up without an appointment. My dog had eaten chocolate. They took me in immediately and showed me and my dog love and care. The vet took his time to be sure my dog was going to be ok. He asked questions to get to the bottom of treatment needed. They were patient with my animal and small toddler i had with me. They explained cost of every step and gave me the option before going ahead. In the end my bill was a fraction of what I thought I would be paying! I took my cat to oxford vet because he was having issues with swallowing dry foods and my vet was tied up for 2 weeks. The doctor gave me useless advice about installing a slow feeder even though I told him multiple times this problem just started occuring and my cat is 5 and does not even eat his food very fast. He is actually a slow eater. Upon my insistence we had Xrays taken and the doctor calls me in to discuss the Xrays and starts talking about some bump/lump on my cats trachea. He tells me he doesn't know what it is but not to worry about it, but how can someone not worry? So I left and booked an appointment with my normal vet who I showed the Xrays to, turns out that bump was from the doctor/techs bending my cats head back enough to cause the bump on his trachea to appear from bending as per my vet which made sense as there was no tumour or other lump present to explain the bump in his trachea. I want to make it clear that they did NOT hurt my cat at Oxford vet, the bump in his trachea is not permanent or anything like that, it only occured as a result of the angle of his neck during the scan. I am still however unhappy that the vet taking the Xray did not realize that was the reason there was a lump visible in the Xray. This lead to a couple weeks of unnecessary stress. The doctor was also very impatient with removing my VERY scared cat from his carrier. I will never ever return here again.

They are a decent animal hospital. I took my new kitten there when she first started to throw up and they prescribed me pills to giver her everyday to help with the vomiting. This had been happening for a while so i asked what other options i had to see what might be the root cause of this was and so they offered to do blood testing and x-rays. Later we found out that she had leukemia and pancreatitus(?) and that MIGHT have been the cause. My other options were way out of my budget. So we kept on the pills and every 3 weeks on the dot she would throw up again and be in pain and just miserable. So my boyfriends mom suggested that i take her off the pills and see what happens. Guess what? She stops throwing up every 3 weeks on the dot. The pills that were supposed to help with the vomiting was causing it. She hasn't thrown up since and its been 5 months with one small episode now since then. Also I noticed a couple times the vet was very afraid of my cat and didn't really want to touch her in case she was going to scratch him which i found very odd because you deal with animals so you should be used to it. Not to mention their accents are sometimes hard to understand, nice people but hard to understand, thankfully the instructions with the medicine is typed out. I'd also like to point out that i think they get confused... I was explaining to the vet that my cat has not thrown up for 2 months while not taking the pills. As we were talking he then kept saying that she was doing better on the pills. How is throwing up every 3 weeks on the dot with pills better than not throwing up in 2 months without pills? Makes no sense to me. But anyway, very nice people, very nice staff and are totally willing to help but sometimes the vets just make no sense.

Our dog was in very bad shape. They did what they could but unfortunately couldn't help him and we had to say goodbye to our dear boy. The bill was too much for us to be able to pay in full and they offered a payment plan. $100 a month we agreed on but even though I'm keeping up paying the amount we agreed on they keep pushing and bring it up every chance they get. Why offer a payment plan if they want the amount paid off at once....

I had an unexpected day with my son's dog. He went missing and we eventually found him at the pound but he wasn't doing very well. Somehow he had ingested something toxic so he was lethargic and unwell. It was about 530 pm when I got him from the pound and my daughter made arrangements for him to be brought to Oxford animal hospital. They went out of their way for him to be seen last minute, towards the end of the day. I must say that I was really impressed with the care he received. Dr. Mahmoud was extremely thorough in my dog's treatment plan, explained everything to me including his bloodwork, and was very compassionate. I’m sure they’re good at what they do, but I brought my cat in a few months ago for a check up because he was sick. They refused to help him because he was a bigger cat that was scared and sent me home with him 5 minutes later (also charged me for flea medication - he didn’t have fleas). He just died of liver failure. I’m so angry that I couldn’t have caught what was going on earlier, although I don’t directly blame the animal hospital. Just unfortunate.

The long list of items my Min Pin needed seemed like I was going to be spending a lot, but they offer this amazing monthly health package that includes tons of service. They are prompt, make my Min Pin feel very comfortable and are so customer driven. I highly recommend having your pet taken care of at the Oxford location. You can't beat the service and value. Took 9 week old kitten in, Dr. Wesam took great care of little Toby. She knew right away he had a respiratory infection along with an eye infection, and took the proper time to show us how to administer both medications to the young kitten. Was also gracious enough to trim his nails free of charge, and recommended helpful kitten food. Very happy.

I brought my dog in because he was limping and Dr. Wesam encouraged an x-ray to be done to ensure he didn't break any bones. To my surprise, Dr. Wesam discovered my dog had 9 urinary stones that needed to be removed immediately. I cannot express how thankful I am for her careful examination and discovery of these stones. I booked a cystotomy immediately and the surgery was performed by Dr. Tamar. It's been almost two weeks since his surgery and he's recovering well. I have been bringing my two dogs to Oxford for the past four years and will continue to do so because of their excellent service. Thank you!

Another great visit!! It has been 10 months and Lucy is doing wonderful! Dr. Tama was awesome giving Lucy her checkup and rabies shot. My other dachshund Linus was having problems with his ears. Dr. Tama examined him without an appointment and diagnosed a yeast infection. He gave me a great deal on the cost of diagnosing and treating the infection. I`m truly thankful!! And he did the very difficult job of thoroughly cleaning Linus` infected ears. I highly recommend all the staff at Oxford Animal Hospital! I`ve tried several other vets before them and I won`t switch now. Thank you again to all the staff today! Dr. Tamer and the staff are fabulous! Our 10 year old dachshund Lucy had a very serious pancreatitis attack and Dr. Tamer came into the clinic an hour early to care for her. He diagnosed her quickly and provided us with reasonable care options. Lucy spent 2 days in the clinic getting amazing care. I am very happy to report she has found her inner puppy again and is doing fantastic! We have our fur baby Lucy back because of the amazing care she received. Thank you Tamer and all of the staff!

Really good experience! I brought my cat in to see the vet Dr. Tamer and he really took his time explaining his diagnosis. I did not feel rushed at all during the visit and my cat felt very comfortable (which he doesn’t usually in an unknown location) He even gave me two different options and they recommended great quality foods for my cat at the end. But what I appreciated the most was the front desk girls called to follow up and see how my cat was feeling the next week. If you want a good experience for your pet and good prices, I highly recommend!

I used to live on the north end vof edmonton very close to Oxford Veterinary Hospital. Over a year now I've relocated to the Southside in Jagare Ridge which now is a 30 min drive sometimes longer due to construction, accidents, or rush hour traffic , but I have been treated with such kindness, and upmost respect not just myself but all my fur babies that I would drive hours for their superior Veterinary Servicels . I caan't say enough about the Oxford Veterinary Hospital but above all who make it the best I've had the pleasure of entrusting them 100% Dr Tammer was there for me before, during and after my 8.5 yr old Rottie lost her battle to cancer. Dr Tammer is the most amazing Vet I've ever been given the pleasure of knowing. He gave Ava the best care we all wish for our pet to have. He treated Ava with Such love and devotion from the very beginning with her fight with cancer, right to te end and last day she couldn't stay strong anymore and I had to end her suffering. I I never would have been able to endure the loss of my Ava if it hadn't eve been for him a d his staff. Hands down the best Animal Hospital.

The waiting room is clean & organized, the wait is short and the veterinarian and the rest of the staff are fantastic! Polite, friendly and informative! My visit to the clinic was an overall great experience. I took my cat "Tiberius" in for a dental cleaning and blood work. After the procedure I was shown before and after photos of my cat's teeth and you could really tell what a great job they did cleaning & polishing his teeth. Thank you Dr. Wesam Awadin for taking the time to patiently answer all my questions and for treating my kitty with such kindness! The price was much less than what other clinics would have charged. It is a real good feeling when you walk out of a vet clinic with a healthy pet but without maxing out your credit card! I'm so glad I found this place!

Brought my baby rabbit here to get spayed and she developed complications soon after. She was extremely unwell and clearly in so much pain, not eating or going to the bathroom. When I called the Oxford Animal Hospital they said they do not do appointments for rabbits. How could a clinic that spays rabbit not follow up!! After seeing another vet numerous times for numerous tests with care and testing ending up costing $2000, we had to put her down as she was in too much pain and the condition could not be fixed. It was so hard watching her suffer. The vet there said it was definitely from the spaying surgery. This is a horrible clinic, do not go there to spay your rabbit they clearly don't know what they're doing and will not follow up after the fact, I really regret going here

Dr Rayala and all the techs clearly care about animals and seem to actually delight in seeing my golden retriever! Gracie’s spay operation went very well and she healed up beautifully, and I’ve felt confident and comfortable with the advice Dr Rayala has given me for various other things that have come up. really wasted my time and money.... my dog puked a couple times and i brought her in to get checked. i assumed she was preggo cause of the signs that i shared with the vet. he spent 1 minute checking her and 5 minutes telling me she probably isnt pregnant. also waited 15 minutes in the room for him to come in. and to top it off, he charged me for a full exam but did half the job of an exam? oh and she IS pregnant...

After arriving home from work I saw that my dog Shelbie was in distress. Even though it was almost closing time I took Shelbie in to see Dr. Wesam. The doctor was wonderful. She ran the tests on Shelbie to determine the diagnosis and treated her. She explained everything she did, before she did it and treated both Shelbie and me with care and compassion. Shelbie was in great hands the whole time. Dr. Wesam stayed for hours past her clinics closing time just to help us. The cost was very reasonable, the care was outstanding. The next day I received a call from the hospital asking that I keep them updated and told me to bring Shelbie back if there was any follow-up needed. I was fortunate to find this animal hospital for my beloved dog.
