I love Charwick Hill- best vet by far! We’ve been going to them for a while now with our new 13 weeks old pup Maisie and we both love it!! I love that there are only 3 ladies- incredible ladies- because my pup is seen by the same people every time. And I love that. They always call to check up on Maisie after vaccinations and even after I took Maisie to the ER (she’s okay!) the clinic is clean and averaged priced. The veterinarian takes her time with our little girl explaining everything we need to know and why. She always gives us her honest opinion and seems to have Maisie’s best interest at heart. Happy to have a safe place to bring my lovely pup. Wish I would’ve found them sooner! 10/10 always.

I know "Smiley Miley" gets the best care possible and they are always looking out for her best interests. I cant say enough GREAT things about Charwick Hill, Andrea stands out and deserves all the thanks in the world. She has been nothing short than amazing. When I was dealing with my sick 3 month old puppy she was kind, understanding and so helpful. From my first phone call to Charwick I knew this was an amazing vet and that it was the best choice for my dog. Andrea will also pass along any little training tips for certain things I cant quite get Tuck to do. Thanks to the amazing Team @ Charwick Tucker ( my puppy ) is doing 10000% better and back on track to be a very healthy and happy dog. Sharon is wonderful, always answering my 101 questions about what to feed him etc. I honestly can say enough amazing things about this clinic and will continue to come as long as they are open !

They made me cry today. The staff here are so kind. My cat was hit by a car and killed yesterday.. I adopted two kittens today to fill my broken heart. The poor kittens had ear mites and one of them needed surgery. They worked fast, are all animal lovers, and very kind people. I whole heartedly recommended them to anyone who needs a vet. Thank you.. Convinced me to do a test that put my cat at risk then after told me how they were using different equipment for the comparative test so it's not accurate anyway. Also was very defensive when asked anything other than the details of her 'gold standard of treatment', and kept dodging my quality of life concerns for my pet.

Had the worst experience at this vet. I am forced to write my first Google review in hopes that no one goes through what I did here. My 1 yr old puppy had been limping for a couple of weeks so I decided to take him in to check up on it. After about 10 min into the visit and an external examination where he had no pain response, I was told there was a 90% chance that he needed ACL surgery because his ligament was torn and that there was a good chance his other leg would also require the $5000 surgery with no proof of this supposed tear. I was told I could be given a referral to a surgeon (ofcourse as they receive a cut for this). He was given a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and he was 100% better with in 1 wk. I will never go back to this vet from this experience. It was not worth the stress and emotional turmoil of thinking my 1 yr old puppy would require an invasive surgery to which I was explained would be the only option for him having a normal life.

Penny is a HART dog and even though we live approximately a million miles away from Charwick Hill, we still choose them. The team here is excellent. One time, I cried in the office because I was worried about our dog (needlessly worried) and one time my wife nearly passed out (we were running late and their was no time for breakfast) and our dog is fairly demanding of constant treats/pets when we are there. Penny races into this place and seems to enjoy being studied on their table. They've been there for us whenever we needed help, and answer questions by email/phone and always follow up after appointments.

Our dog, Money has been to no other vet clinic, since we adopted him in early 2011. He loved the ladies at Charwick. As soon as I would ask if he wanted to go see the girls, he would start whining, even before leaving the house. These ladies are so caring and loving, treating everyone with utmost respect. You know you have a caring Dr., when she is in tears having to deliver bad news. Thank you to Dr. Sharon, Andrea and Lorna, for sharing our last moments with Money. We miss him terribly. You will always be our Vet Clinic!!!!

I have been coming to Charwick Hill Animal Hospital for over 5 years, mostly to get my cat food and have my cat’s nail’s trimmed. They do a very good job. Today I mixed up the nail trim appointment by 10 minutes and I was told I was not able to bring her in. Ironically I have had to wait for them for several minutes in previous appointments, which I don’t mind doing. It was my error, however there was no understanding whatsoever. I wasn’t even past my “10 minute allotment” and I was told I could not come to the clinic despite living less than 2 minutes away. Not impressed and I will never step foot in the clinic again. I have always found the staff somewhat abrupt but I tolerated it, but this was the last straw for me.

Typically a British Bulldog owner needs a vet with experience in that breed. We moved to this vet out of convenience after an emergency with one of our dogs; 5 minutes from the house versus 60 to 90 minutes from the house for our previous bet. I dont believe they were that experienced with the breed and albeit not many they resolved every issue we had and we felt confident that what they may not have known they investigated and found solutions. We were never rushed in appointment and I believe their rates were more than reasonable. They are were very straightforward with no BS. They are exceptionally caring and we can not thanks them enough for their assistance, care and efforts over the years. Thank you all very much.
