Dr. Littlejohn is the best of the best. He cares so much about his patients and their owners! I had to bring my family dog in a couple months ago to be put down. The staff were so incredible to me and my family. Giving us as much time as we needed and so much comfort. Dr. Littlejohn has a passion for animals and it shows in his work. I have taken all my animals to see him and I will absolutely continue too. Would recommend again and again.

Took my kitten in for the first time and the staff was super friendly and responded immediately. The vet spoke to me in detail about what he would be doing with my kitten and asked all the necessary questions, he also left me with lots of information to best take care of him. Even with the covid drop off system I was acknowledged through the windows by the vet and the other staff. They made my little guy and I very comfortable. Very satisfied! There is also a good amount of parking which was good to know!

Upon finding out I needed to euthanize my ginger hellion, Gus Gus, I decided to look for a new vet (I was not happy with my previous one). The Littlejohn's are amazing people. Their staff are wonderful. They made this painful experience a little more easy to bare.

We've been bringing our dog to Dr. Little John for the last four years. He has always received prompt and thorough care and the vet always seems to try to understand our pets unique needs. Staff is friendly, and the location is handy though parking is limited to a few stalls. I've noticed other people mention that it can take over a week to get an appointment. It's been our experience that they can usually get us in over the next few days but pets needing emergency care should visit the Edmonton Veterinarians' Emergency Clinic. It's pricier but almost always available.

Dr littlejohn is the best vet and only vet i have ever had. I have never thought about switching vets. He's so caring and the staff are just so amazing.. Recently i had to go have a surgery done on my dog. he explained the prodecure in full and the risks and the other options that i had so i would understand everything before coming to a decision. They may be alittle expensive for low income people like myself butim telling ya. its worth every penny. They truley care about your animals. My dad who helped me transport him after the surgery . he was absoulutly shocked that my clinic actually cares. He thought i was being ripped off at first till he actually met dr littlejon and the staff and he was just so suprised with this clinic .. Theres litterly.one bad thing and that is that there hours suck... I wish they were open more.

The staff were professional and tremendously kind, and made every effort to explain every step of the process, while reassuring us that our pet was not in pain. Dr. Littlejohn explains every treatment in easy to understand language and genuinely cares for your pets like their one of his own. His technicians are equally considerate and our dogs have no issues or fear of the vet. I wouldn't take my four-legged family anywhere else!

I am new to Edmonton. When I first brought my tiny Shih Poo puppy to them he was very shy and scared. It was especially tough oh my puppy and me as COVID was in full swing and I had to wait outside while my puppy got his first exam. The Doctor told me to bring him around about once a week before his next visit or he could end up with a life long fear of vet clinics. I really appreciate how the staff would take time out at lunch to stop and socialise with my little puppy, and on the next visit for booster shots the Doctor commented that I had done a wonderful job socializing my puppy. The clinic now cares for my 2 ageing Ragdoll cats as well as my Shih Poo who is just turning 1 year old next week. Great practice I am glad I found a good vet in my new city.

I took my cat to this hospital to see his diarrhea. Spent $450+ and it ended up the cat was recovered from the medication I used for myself. There is no diagnose from this hospital. What I received are option 1, option 2, option 3, option 4... They didn't recommend which option is the most effective. What they wanted is you try and pay all options and other unnecessary check. During the check the vet found there was a swelling on my cat's back. And he asked about $800 to get rid of it. I went to another clinic for a second opinion, at there the vet suggested leave it until my cat feels very uncomfortable with it. It became smaller and smaller and gone now. I will never go to Blue Cross once again.
