I've been a few times now for my guineapigs and I always feel comforted knowing that they're being taken care of there. Everytime I've left the staff always say good bye to the pig(s) which emphasized to me that they love what they do and my animals are always in good hands. Price wise this was equivalent to other vets I've been to but you definitely get what you pay for in expertise. I recommend this place to anyone that will listen.

You’re paying for the renovations and dog treats but not better service. Everything costs more, even outside labwork to the same lab as other vets. But the major problem is that every time I walk in to pick up my dog I’m told that they were holding him and “just put him back in the cage”, even though other patients in the lobby have told me my dog was crying for over an hour before I arrived (I also come as soon as they call me). I can understand if they are busy and have to put him in the cage, it’s the dishonesty that bothers me. I’ve found another vet for teeth cleaning that is much more affordable and while the decor is no frills, the service is the same if not better.

And then they prescribed another medicine that cost 50$ saying it's better than the old one they prescribed. So we spent 50$ on the previous medicine for nothing. Quite a scammy behavior imo.

The staff and the doctors (Dr. Bisson) here are great BUT the prices for their services are outrageous. There seems to be a "Westmount" tax on all the services. The prices are a lot higher than other Passionimo clinics. For example, a consultation here costs just under $80 plus tax; at the Mont Royal clinic it is $55 plus tax. Also there are a lot of add-ons for services: for example they charge for the act of injecting medication and drawing blood for blood tests which I have never experienced before..... All this to say that you should not be fooled by the inclusion of the word "passion" in their name nor by their mission statements about fair value for their services.

Great overall staff. My cat Winnie was in her end of life, fighting cancer for the last year. Winnie was not peeing and wasn't eating, her current vet wasn't available. Passionimo took her in urgently and treated her infection successfully. A month later took a turn for the worst. I needed to confirm that it was time. Her vet was again not available. Passionimo was able to make time for her even valling a customer to trade places with me so I can get her in faster. They showed me compassion that made the whole process of putting her down much much easier. We put Winnie down at home peacefully. Thank you Passionimo for all your kindness

The care we got when they not only took us after-hours during an emergency, but also the time they gave us with our 18 year old cat passing away post that emergency consult, was stellar. I even got a hand written sympathy card from the workers sent by mail that put me to tears. My Mishou had been to almost every Vet on the island and off island and only in her passing (due to negligence on the part of Centre Veterinaire de Laval) did she receive the most compassionate care. I have never been spoken to with such kindness and professionalism at any other vet. Months later, we have given a home to a kitten and have received nothing but flexibility and kind care from both front desk workers and vets. Our little Sora will have Passionimo Westmount as her primary from here forward. If you are looking for a vet, stop looking here - these aren’t just workers with jobs, they are actual human beings who are stellar at what they do. Lovely customer service - super friendly and patient with my dog. However, the prices are indeed very high. If you are purchasing a prescription I would highly recommend filling it elsewhere (ex. I had a surprise bill for $150 for medication that cost me $25 for the same amount at Pharmaprix earlier in the summer). If you can, try to buy your "prescription food" somewhere else as well - very large markups. I have also been charged different prices, all v. high compared to other vets, for the same tests on different occasions (urine, blood etc.). Check your receipts. It's a business and they are finding margins where they can, but it's a bit excessive.

I came here because my dog was pregnant, they didn't help me through the process at all, they gave me an article on what to do when the mom is giving birth but no help after that. They didn't inform me that i'd have to come back within 48 hours of the puppies being born to check on them and 2 of them passed away because they weren't getting enough milk. Something like that didn't have to happen, they knew I wasn't a breeder and it came unexpected to me that my dog was pregnant. They originally charged me 800$ for x rays and for deworming medication for the mother and father and then called me a day later and said they accidentally didnt charge me the full amount and wanted another 200$! Now i have to live with the pain of losing two puppies when all of this could have been avoided.

I brought my cat about a year ago, but as I now look for a new vet and considered going back, I see so many posts about how they are not up front about costs so I will share my experience. I was a new pet owner at the time and my cat was panting on occasion (after exercise and when he is nervous). They considered my cat’s condition to be an emergency so I rushed him to the vet, they performed X-rays and an ultrasound for his lungs, said he probably has a heart problem and less than a year to live, and also said that they have to send the X-rays to a heart specialist to further interpret. This was all pushed on me while I was visibly emotional that my new kitten was potentially very sick or dying. Keep in mind I had also never been to a vet before which they were duly aware of. Everything came back inconclusive. They gave me some antibiotics and worm medication. Then I get a call with a bill of $800. Luckily this is within my means but being my first vet visit ever with a new pet, I was shocked that none of the prices were given up front or during any point of the process. Extremely disappointed with this unprofessional service. I would gladly pay this price every time for my cat’s continued health but they did not even inform me of any of the test’s efficacy or if the conditions they were looking for were even treatable (after some research half of the conditions they wanted to rule out by more blood tests that I held off were not even treatable). TL;DR They just want your money. Not a compassionate place. And my cat is completely fine.

I went to the clinic this summer for the parasite prevention of my Weimaraner and the staff was very welcoming and professional. The vet was very competent and made a thorough exam of my dog, asking all kinds of questions in order to decide what is the best option for us. My dog was not stressed at all and she usually doesn't like her vet visits. I think that she even liked the vet! The place is designed to accomodate its numerous clients - my dog is not very social but she didn't have any issues while in the waiting room. I would highly recommend this place!

I have used this vet as well as another local vet. I see no big differences on price. The main difference for me is that the other vet has a very high turnover of animals so every time you go you have to wait FOR AGES. At this vet, they do not overbook so you don't have to wait for very long. They are also very friendly and supportive because my cat is semi-feral and so he is difficult to get into his cage. This means that I often have to cancel the visit at the last minute. The vet is very accommodating and just reschedules for another day. It takes some of the stress out of the situation for me.

Mais par la suite j'ai impression qu'on m'a mal recommander selon mes besoins. Pour seul obejectif de ce faire de l'argent sur mon dos sous pretexte du mieux pour l'animal. J'etait venue pour une simple inspection d'un chat trouver dans la rue. Pour etre sur qu'il n'avait pas de puces etc.. J'avait apporter mon chien au cas ou le test serais positif et l'aurai contaminer par le fait meme. Et au final l'on m'as proposer plusieurs choses meme pour mon chien. L'on me proposais sans meme preciser le cout des test/prevention/intervention. La facture final est sortie a environ 800$... Quand un intervention et autre n'est pas tant nesessaire et qu'il coute environ 200$ C'est bien de le preciser... C'est triste qu'au final le chat avait rien et que je ne vais meme pas le grader... Ma confiance est a tout jamais perdu. ***Plus jamais je dis oui a une intervention qui est proposer comme si ca ne coutais rien... sans demander le prix d'abord! :'( J'en pleure a quelle point je m'en veux.

A little over a month ago, my Shih Tzu lost sensation in her hind legs and the ability to walk. After turning down the option of surgery and doing research on acupuncture, I took her to Passionimo Veterinary Hospital, met with a few technicians and Dr. Nissaire. They are very passionate, caring and reassuring. Instantly, my dog felt relaxed and already after three sessions was able to regain the use of her hind legs. After reading many articles on dogs in similar situations as mine, I was amazed at what it can do. I was really impressed. A big thank you to the team, I am really grateful for them.

I have to say the staff there is really kind but id say otherwise for the prices. There are a lot of hidden prices. I called to inquire about the prices I was told id pay 184$ for the consultation and to give my cat the 3 vaccines. To my suprise which was not disclosed to me was that everytime the vaccine would be given id be charged 100$ consultation in addition to the price of the vaccine which varies from 25-35$. Which would not make the total 184 it would make it 430$!!!!!! I ended up paying 294$ the first time and a month later 146$ for 3 vaccines 2 consultations which for me is ridiculous. Like other reviews said that there are much more cheaper options out their and if you do decide to go with this clinic make you ask for all the cost and for it to be made extra clear so your not surprised at the cash like i was both times 294 and 146$. Not to mention that I sent and email that, the cost that was sent to me by email did not reflect the cost I paid and she said that it was a mis communication and that since the payment was already made that i would not be able to get a refund and would try to find a solution but none was made. Although someone reached out to me by phone after i sent the email and was kind and tried to explain it .. it is a mis communication that costed me 100+ dollars and the mis comunication was on their part. Because in the payment detail section of the email there was NO mention of paying 100$ for consultation at everytime i brought my kitten in. Since they knew I was a New cat owner that should have been made clear and disclosed in the beginning. 184$ isnt the real price more like 384$ plus taxes. Nice people, high cost, in the end not worth it. For those who want cheaper options check out Montreal Society for cats they make you pay based on your income and for cats uttering and giving them vaccines is much cheaper than this place. They provide the same service at a fraction of the cost.

Hier on lui a administrer un Fluide sous cutané, un anti-douleur et un antibiotique que l’on doit poursuivre pour 14 jours. De plus on nous a prescrit un produit de gavage. Ce matin sa petite bouille va déjà mieux elle a manger un peu par elle-même. Élina est tellement heureuse elle vole pratiquement de bonheur. Doctor Bisson loves what she does - she is patient, thoughtful and gave us all the detailed information we needed. The exams are more expensive than in other vet clinics around Montreal, but the quality of their services outweighs the costs.
