Such caring service by multiple doctors and nurses, my dog was in critical condition and they stayed overtime to make sure she had enough oxygen. They gave us extra information and explained the reason behind using certain medications. Dr. Singh has over 40 years of experience and still spends the time to connect with the stressed owners of a very ill dog. They followed up with confirming pill dosage for past prescriptions and called to ask how my dog was doing throughout the week. I live close by so it's very convenient for me to drop a question and come by. Other owners that were waiting affirmed that the North Delta Animal Hospital team was the best. Thank you team for caring for Bella, you're making this difficult time so much easier on us.

We went down to the life pet care at Petsmart and the people were passive aggressive and charged over 300 just to see our sick German shepherd. The staff here were so kind, so caring, and when they heard about his situation they came up with a price ONE THIRD of what the other places were charging. They came down and the doctor himself helped cut my dog's nails, groomed him, and it was overall such a refreshing experience to a stressful situation. Thanks guys!

Dr Singh was thorough and took a calm and practical approach when treating my dog for a bite. He followed up with me directly. He answered all my questions and works hours that are late and flexible. It's nota flashy vet office but I trust Dr Singh and would 100% recommend him.

Terrible veterinary clinic. My cat clearly had symptoms of ringworm. Shows loss of hair on his ear and scab with some part flesh exposing. Instead of trying to do some test to see if he has ringworm like the other clinic I went to. The doctor said the hair loss and scab us from scratches. He took a piece of ear wax from my cat's ear and said he is going to check under microscope. Came back saying there is no mites that he can see under microscope but it could still be caused by mites. Charged me for $130 in total and mis-diagnosed my cat and delayed proper treatment, giving me wrong medication. Later on my cat was diagnosed ringworm positive in a test. Find another veterinary clinic you trust. Do not recommend this one

Dr. Narinder Dhanjal is an absolute pleasure. He is kind, patient & knowledgeable. We took our puppy for his 3rd set of shots after having a horrible experience at a different clinic. My family & I were very impressed with Dr. Dhanjal. Our puppy didn't even notice when he was injected with his vaccinations. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a vet that is patient & compassionate. We'll be back for all future services.

We love this place. Dr. Dhanjal is fantastic! He is kind and gentle with our pets (3 cats, 1 dog) and gives us great recommendations when it comes to their health and safety. He isn't one to push antibiotics when they aren't necessary and we absolutely value his opinions on their treatment. The care at this hospital is top notch.

This is a great Animal Hospital. They worked hard to fit me in immediately. Dr. Mohan Matharoo was amazing with my large dog Chica. The doctor even charged me less than the initial quote. I was very surprised to see that they even trimmed her nails free of charge. This is definitely the place to take your pets.

We had to put our rat down and every other vet we called try to charge us an absurd amount. Here they charged us a reasonable amount and were very kind and compassionate, we even got a letter in the mail sending their condolences that the whole staff signed. I would highly recommend this vet!

My cat had blood in his urine and was peeing irregularly so I brought him here for urgent care as my vet was closed at the time. He has had blood in his urine before anys been related to a blockage cause by crystals. The vet here gave me a urine sample kit and sent me home because they were not able to get a sample at that time (his bladder was empty) I brought the sample in the next day and got a call that afternoon saying he was fine and just needed a change in food. No medicine for infection, no further tests. I asked if there was anything they could do because my cat looked like he was very ubcomfortable and in a lot of pain. They said again there was nothing and they would not even give him any pain medicine or anti-biotics nor did they recommend he come in again. I brought my cat to my regular vet the next morning for a second opinion, she was amazed that they didn't do anything for him. She did a full physical, in house urine sample and sent it to be cultured to look forspecific infection and best treatment. She immediately put him on anti biotics and pain medication. Unfortunately by the next morning it was too late and the blockage had gotten worse. He had to have the blockage surgically removed. Not only do I not recommend going here, I would avoid it at all costs if you care at all about your animal friends. We are in the process of making a formal complaint.

We have 2 senior large breed dogs. We have had many vets over the years, living across Canada. We have never experienced a vet like Dr. Singh. Although we were given the very sad new that our dog has cancer, Dr Singh has been compassionate and caring. He has spent countless hours talking to us, never making us feel rushed and takes the time to answer all of our questions. I'm not sure that he realizes how much the care he has shown us and our fur babies has impacted us. I would recommend Dr Singh to anyone looking for a deep level of care and attention for their pets.

If you want to get ripped off, with poor service, come on down. My dog was out of her heart medication, knowing that I was desperate for the medication, Molly was having heart mermers...they charged me $18.50 for 4 pills. Four pills when I said " are you kidding me" ...she replied let me talk to DR. NO DISCOUNT that's what were charging. This isn't first time eithertime. We were hear before, same thing outrageous bill. Please stay away !!! Dont say you were not warned. Wait until you really need them, they will show true colors.!!!!!! My mother and I have been going to this establishment for the last 4 or so years. We go here for vaccinations, medical checkups, and for storing our dogs there when we go for extended vacations. Many of the veterinarians are Punjabi. Some of them have a thick accent, so you'll have to constantly ask what they're saying. Outside of that, the staff are quiet and respectful.

This hospital is open 7 Days a week offering almost all services. The staff try their best to assist you with your needs. The greatest part of this hospital is that they offer very fare and reasonable prices much cheaper then the competition especially when it comes to vaccinations and medications. I have taken my dog and cat to multiple offices and gotten gouged and taken advantage of. There are several doctors some better then others, but overall it’s worth the drive to visit.

I was not given all of the options available for my pet and when the round of treatment he prescribed failed I was told that it was my fault.... I would never ever ever go back to this place again... he does not have the anamils best intrest in mind when treating your pet and looks for a quick fix that keeps you coming back with your pocket book ..... DO NOT GO HERE. Especially if you have a cat. The dr is extremely incompetent with animals and almost killed my cat because he was too scared of her growling. His solution was to basically paralyze her with drugs and after he did that he just sent us home without doing anything else! I had to take her to the emergency vet after this one. Easily could’ve killed my cat with his negligence as he didn’t even check her out. If you care about your pets please DO NOT GO HERE

This vet is a money grabber. He reuses needles. Just wiped it with a piece of tissue then put it back in his drawer. Comes up with random stuff, insisting my dog needs surgery or antibiotics. Went to two other vets since I didn't trust this guy. They both told me that my pet was healthy & didn't need any surgery. Don't go here. EVER.

NEVER TAKE YOUR PETS HERE EVER. Dr. Singh claimed to have been treating yn dog for a skin condition but was keeping him sick so we keep purchasing placebo pills. The pills made my dogs skin condition worse and eventually resulted in tumors. When we started buying the prescribed pills from another clinic he publically humiliated me and screamed "i am trying to run a business". He cut my dogs nails and left him bleeding with no bandages on multiple ocassions. Dr. Singh is the most greedy human being alive, he doesn't care about your pets health. He cares about keeping your animal alive and sick enough to keep purchasing meds.

Dr. Narinder is an amazing vet. I have 2 dogs and a cat and they are all being taken care of and looked at every time I bring them in for appointment for the last 4 years when we moved in the neighbourhood. Last week, my cat had to undergo an emergency surgery because of stones in her bladder and urethra. Dr. Narinder and his staff did all their best to save my cat. The doctor called a day after to check on my cat. Due to the fact that my cat wasn't eating or drinking several hours post op, I was advised to bring her back to the clinic for an IV fluid. Dr. Narinder kept my cat in the clinic all day and made sure that our furry baby is well enough before discharging her home. I am so glad that we have Dr. Narinder in the community. A very trustworthy and compassionate vet.

Very disappointed in this clinic, for a number of reasons. First, they open at 8am, but there are no doctors in until 10:30, which is weird and inconvenient, but not the worst thing ever. When I got there and got my cats (just a checkup for a pair of bonded cats I recently adopted) set up in the exam room, I realized how dirty it was. The floors were unswept and my guess would be it had to have been at least a week since it was last mopped - and this is supposed to be a medical building? Unsanitary and frankly disgusting. Their exam table also has a space between it and the wall where average sized cats can very easily fit into, and it's not so easy to get them out when you have anxious cats like mine. One of my cats hides constantly when any strangers are around, and even hides half the time if nobody or just me is there - so where do you think he went the second we got there? Yep, and the only way to get him out to perform an exam was to poke him hard enough he ran out the other side, which felt terrible to do, but I had to get him out of there, not only for the exam, but also because it was even more filthy back there than the rest of the floors. When we did the exam, both my cats were extremely scared and stressed, but the doctor rushed through it without doing anything to calm them down or make them more comfortable. She also was not very knowledgeable about things that I think she really ought to be. Their ears were very dirty, something I did not know yet having only adopted them a few days prior and not yet had the time to get to know them, and this is a problem I've never had with cats I've had previously (which are dozens, I grew up with them), so I asked her what might cause it. "I don't know.", she said the same when I asked why one of my cats had bad teeth when her brother, who grew up with her and ate the same food as her for their entire lives, had very good teeth in comparison. The same female cat with bad teeth also has heart murmurs, which really troubled me. She said to watch out for any weird symptoms, her acting lethargic, etc., and come in for regular checkups to keep an eye on it and see if it's part of or causes a bigger issue. Sure. I asked the vet if the murmurs could be caused by stress because by this point she had thoroughly stressed my cats out way more than the trip had, and I figured that might be able to cause it, no? Well, no. Not according to her - there was no way heart murmurs can be caused by stress, she assured me. Only, after going home and doing research, they absolutely can be! Multiple sources confirm that in some cats, heart murmurs can be caused by stressful situations and will go away once the stress subsides and have no ill effects. Now, I do not know if her heart murmurs were caused by stress or some other factor, and will bring her in for another checkup (to a different clinic of course!) in a few months or as soon as any symptoms show up, if they do. But I sure hope she educates herself a bit more. Not a good experience. I would not recommend anyone take their pets here. There are much better clinics out there, and this is by far the worst I've ever been to.

I rushed in with a bleeding cut toe nail with my bird a big African grey parrot and just needed something to help her clot (its the same thing you use on dogs). She was bleeding badly not only would the staff refuse to see me the vet wouldnt even listen one bit to the problem. He wouldnt help her even with a nail cut just because it's a bird! Apparently animals dont matter I highly don't reccomend this vet I've had him over drug cats on simple spay and neuter with cats. They were drugged for 2 days.

They tried to give us a credit instead of a refund on medications for our dead dog. When we said no, the refund price was $6 less than the credit they were going to give us?? They then tried to keep the product that wasn't refunded! Also, there was zero compassion for the fact that we lost our 13 year old furbaby. They made us come in and sit there for over 20 mins just after we lost our dog. It was awful. As well, on several occasions, they said that they would call us back and then didn't. There were a few red flags in our short time using the services of this clinic. Based on their obvious need to make their patients into dollar signs and the lack of sensitivity for us we have to wonder if they treated our pet the same way? We are left feeling uneasy and wondering if they in fact contributed to her demise so that they could make more money off of us:(

I am a licensed reg breeder dr matharoo is very rude. I thought I would check them out and I was not impressed at all. The asian guy that works front desk has no idea About any general information. The actual vet mentioned above Told us to make a apt before going there. walk ins are for emergencies only. I have Never had a vet say this to me, in all my ears of breeding. This vet charges people if they need any forms emailed to them. This I have also never come across. I breed and I have never had a vet say they don’t email paper work. He said if I wanted it I would have to pay more. Horrible customer service. There are much better vets out there who are polite. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Oh and he made a huge deal about filling out a a form for our new pup additional, so we lost our one year health guarantee because we changed our pets name and on her papers he wouldn’t put her name down on the paper work. Let me note our pup was named prior to us getting her. We changed her name at 9’weeks old we didn't like the one she was given. he wouldn’t put her new name on her file or the paper work we needed to give back to the breeder to ensure our health guarantee. This vet is rude and ignorant. There are much better ones who will help you that are polite informative and will email you without charging you.

These guys squeezed us in when they were fully booked. Waited about 45 minutes but it was worth it as our dog was vomiting every 5 minutes. Dr. Narinder diagnosed our dog with having gas due to eating something she shouldn't have. He gave her a liquid and a shot as well and advised us to hold off on her food until her stomach clears up. Our dog only threw up once after that! They followed up the next morning and asked how she was doing. Told the doctor that she hasn't thrown up since last night. He said to go ahead a give her some food and she should be able to digest it properly. Our dog ate her food, had water and went to the potty shortly after. Thank you Dr. Narinder! Also, the prices were very reasonable!

Took my cat in for an emergency and he needed surgery. Staff was polite and friendly and talked me through what was going to happen to find out exactly what was happening to my cat. However the return visits were a hurry up and wait situation. The first return appointment was 30 min late and the last one was closer to an hour which adds a significant stress on a cat.

The kindest place you could take your pet. They are professional and you can really tell they care. I have never felt like another vet has cared as much as this one. Good people

I would not recommend this vet, he originally was helpful, then began using scare tactics to drive up the bill. Furthermore, my dog caught a very bad skin infection from the needles he used, doctor would not own up up to it, he was there for an unrelated problem. This was last year, never said anything about it until today. I would not recommend this place for serious issues, or anything surgery related, its very unsanitary.

Dr. Dhanjal and his staff were very helpful and caring for our puppy Lulu. We were able to get in right away,(when our regular vet wouldn't fit us in )because our pup needed medical attention. I met one of the vets, he came into my work, seemed really nice and I used to live in the area. Boy am I glad I came here. I called around to at least 4 other places and I couldn't believe the prices. Not only were they a decent price for my babies shots but they were all so kind, took the time to get to know kitten and my dog as well as myself. They definitely have a sense of family. The vet himself was amazing with my dog. My dog is usually skiddish around strangers especially men but he was so gentle neither of them even flinched whole getting their shots. I will definitely be returning in the future!!

The one star is only because they wont let me post without at least one. Brought my dog here with a limp. Made an appt. and was told the x ray procedure would take 3 to 3 1/2 hours. when I arrived back 3 1/2 hours later that still hadn't done the procedure??? Bad start. they then rushed the x-ray and manhandled my dog roughly in the process. I was told that his knee would require an operation and that it needed to be in the next couple of days. the doctor I was dealing with seemed very inept and didn't seem to know any of the actual physiology of the injury in question. There was an obvious language barrier as I couldn't understand half of what she was telling me. I decided to get a second opinion from a more experienced surgeon/vet even though it would cost more to investigate further. The surgeon, after checking my dog thoroughly, stated that surgery was not needed and would probably lead to more problems than it would fix. I am horrified that a clinic like this is allowed to practice. They had no concern for my dogs well being and just wanted to make money. They were willing to put my dogs long term health in jeopardy just to make a few bucks. Never again will I go to this clinic and I advise anyone else to think twice before going here. To the staff of North Delta animal hospital: you should be ashamed to call yourself care givers and doctors.

if i had a choice i wouldnt even give this place one star. the worst experience i ever had with a vet. my dog got some of his tail cut off and when i called and asked to see if my dogs stitches were suppose to come out or not they said yes its time and to bring him in. the assistant looked at my dogs tail and said no its still not fully healed but the lady who was working there as a vet that day said no its good and as soon as she cut the stitches my dog was leaked blood everywhere. the wound was not healed and the stitches were not even done properly to begin with. you could clearly tell that he needed to be stitches up again but she insisted to just bandaid him up so she tryed and it wiuldnt stay on. so she got fed up and said she has another appointment for shots and told me to wait 15-20 minites... while my dog is still leakig she decided to move on and neglect my dog as he was in so much pain. so after all that she called the owner of the clinic and was talking to him in punjabi saying the wound isnt healed its very deep and that she doesnt know what to do. but not realizing i speak the same language she comes up to me n tells me no its not a bad wound its just a outer layer but if its outer layer and to just wrap it up and let t heal and give him tranqualizers for few days so he doesnt move around. so i decided to get a second opinion as any worried owner would do and she just snapped and said im going to give him a siringe and you can take hom wherever and shes not going to deal eith me because i disrespected her by calling someone else. i asked the assistance how long she has been a vet for and she said she jist came from india a year ago... that very moment i left with my dog took him to another clinic and when the dr saw the tail he said the surgery was not done properly. so now i spent another 500$ to get the surgery done again. its one thing u mess up and try to fix it and show some sympathy but this woman did not care whatsoever.

Luckily for us, this vet clinic was open until 10 pm. At 8 pm last night our one year old puppy got a small, sharp piece of raw bone stuck between her back molars. We could feel it but we could not remove it. North Delta Animal Hospital was open. They took us in right away. Dr. Mohan Matharoo was gentle with our little girl. He managed to get the piece out, without sedating her, even though she was extremely anxious from everyone trying to get into the back of her mouth. He explained, in great detail, what to watch for in the event that she may have ingested a larger piece of the bone and also what to watch for in case there was any gum damage that might lead to infection. The whole process was quick, our little doggy was happy (after the procedure), Dr Matharoo did an full exam on her as well and for a very reasonable fee for, we were on our way home. Thankfully they were open, thankfully Dr Matharoo and his assistant were super nice and they knew what to do, thankfully the exam room was very clean, thankfully we did not have to sedate our puppy and thankfully it was very affordable, and thankfully our awesome puppy is totally fine 5 stars to this Animal Hospital and staff!!! (On a side note, we bought the frozen raw bones from a local pet store and were told they are safe for dogs but that they should be supervised. We WERE with her while she was chewing the bone and noticed very quickly that something was wrong by her mannerisms. She has eaten many of these bones in the past, but this was a strong message that it can be very dangerous to our pets. We have decided to no longer feed our dogs raw bones of any kind, even under supervision. Tough lesson to learn. )

I called this Animal hospital to put down my ill cat. The Vet came in early and was very pleasant and compassionate towards our sick cat and also my husband and I as we were grieving the loss of her. I would recommend. Does not overcharge. We also saw him for a lump she had a couple years ago and he made the correct diagnosis quickly and handled her with care.
