My wife and I were up visiting family for Christmas and brought our 2 puppies from the Gold coast with us. One of our dogs ended up getting an ear infection Christmas Eve and was in alot of pain. It was after hours when we called and the vet allowed us to bring her down. The vet was very helpful and was very good with animals. After checking her over he prescribed the medication and then wished us on our way and safe travels. Was a great experience especially last minute out of hours. Thanks again.

We had a dog that needed to be put down, but he was huge, aggressive, and not people friendly. Harbour City Vet was very understanding and gave us some relaxing pills for him. Our dog put up a good fight in the end but the vet and staff were very professional and were very sympathetic to our situation. The next day we received a Sympathy card in the mail. That made my wife and I happy. Although our visit was a sombre one, we appreciate the care that the staff at Harbour City Vet provided us.

Not happy. I went in to get my dog's tonails trimmed, he went off his head so we decided to knock him out which I agreed with but when I got home I checked his tonails and they only took the very tips off. What a waste of time and money.

Took our family pet to here and spent hundreds of dollars ...only for them to fail to diagnose what was actually wrong... So we took him boyne vet... for a second opinion and they diagnosed him instantly... for cheaper.. So why are harbour city veterinary surgery not professional? Well simple... its because we then called them back to say what was wrong and that we had a second opinion.... and then we received a letter in the mail... stating that we are not aloud under any circumstances to bring our pets there ever again...written in the letter was because we didn't trust their knowledge or abilities... well clearly they just like to over charge and put animals lives second to money... What a joke these peoples standards are 100% do not recommend ever ! Instead go to boyne vet if you value service and knowledge .. and affordability..

My puppies love visiting Harbour City. They're my vet of choice and to be honest the only vet I've visited with my fur babies, so I know no different. I am so happy with their reasonable prices and personable care. If you have a puppy I highly recommend their puppy playgroup as it means future visits are a dream because the positive association with the vet has been established early.
