I had the opportunity to work along side them and I’ve never seen two people so devoted to their team, their clients, their community and most importantly focused on providing the absolute best care for all animals big or small. They are constantly working behind the scenes to learn, grow and ensure they can provide the best pet and client experience. Their knowledge and expertise is outstanding paired with a compassionate heart for all animals and their owners. They truly go above and beyond. I would trust them with my pet every time.

The whole clinic is Wonderful!.. Not only does Dr. Stacey care for his patients, but he also gives wonderful training tips and advice. His website has a wonderful link to a phenomenal training method. Our puppy absolutely loves going to the vet, as the assistants are professional and very caring, and the Dr. is always happy and supportive. The prices cant be beat, and we are very grateful to have found a perfect Vet practice right from our puppies beginning and we didn't have to jump around to find the right one. If your pet has any health issues, the clinic is on it right away, and will juggle for emergencies. I cannot say enough good things about Sunrise and Dr. Stacey!. OH Yes... Our puppy Vlad.. absolutely LOVES.. PUPPY KINDERGARTEN.. ( every Wed. 5:30)...

I had an excellent initial appointment in December 2020. I found the service at Sunrise to be thorough, caring, and professional. I was looking to change vet clinics, and my early impression is that the switch to Sunrise will be a good one.

Last fall fall one of our labs was starting to telling us it was time for him to go. I phoned around to all the clinics in Campbell River & Comox trying to find a veterinarian that would do house calls. Everywhere I called they were not doing house calls, but I could bring him in. We would have to drop him off and they would take him and and put him down, nobody allowed in with him, etc (Covid). Not at all how I want the last day to go for a great friend who has been with us for 15 years, alone and nobody that loves him nearby... When I contacted Sunrise and they said they would be able to come out it was already a great relief. Dr. Ruiz was scheduled for the following week. He brought a nurse with him as well, I apologize for not remembering her name. It was a difficult time for us yet Dr. Ruiz was amazing, caring, respectful as was the lady he brought with him. They gave us time and space to say goodbye as he drifted off. Fast forward a few months and our other 15 year old lab was in the same place, we really hoped she would make Christmas with us and we were grateful that she did. I called Sunrise again and Dr. Ruiz was booked as well as his amazing nurse. Even though we were all having a rough day they were great, just like before. I wish I could remember her name, she was excellent. If you are reading this thank you, thank you, thank you. I have and will continue to refer anyone to Dr. Ruiz & Sunrise.

This is really an all encompassing level of service. Carly has helped us with our cat, and when we recently ran into a behavioural issue even her staff reached out to follow up and make sure we were doing OK with our feline family member. Also, when looking at dogs Carly has given us tons of information and advice. It really feels like old school level of attention and detail. Highly recommend!!
