Late on a Friday afternoon I noticed my pup was not opening his right eye and it was weeping. I called Raintree and they were fantastic. They asked if I thought he needed to be seen and when I said yes, they said that they would wait for us to get there, knowing full well we are a 30 minute drive away. I am so impressed. And then, they followed up a couple of days later to see how we were doing! Awesome service and I'm so pleased to have my pup looked after by Raintree. Thanks gang!

Called in the morning to see if they have availability for my dog who hurt her paw, was seen within 2 hours. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional and helped my dog and I feel comfortable. Recieved follow up phone call 3 days after. I highly recommend. My dog is doing better, back to her old self . The places is very clean, staff is friendly, very is knowledge and caring.

Robin and her team are nothing short of amazing. Raintree is the third vet office I’ve been to. Every time we’re there they make you feel like you’re at home & comfortable. Robin takes ample time and care to attend to your pet. She has provided us with many different treatment options for our lemon of a dog (lol). Dr. Rainford's care and attention is second to none in our experience. Her vast knowledge and empathetic nature set her miles above any other veterinarian we've seen. She was patient and kind with us when our pups were going through a difficult time. She provided all oprions for treatment in a professional manner while being sensitive to the emotions we were going through. We miss her and recommend her to anyone who loves their fur babies! Despite being far away now, we trust her expertise and will consult with her should we have questions or concerns. Dr. Raindord is one of those salt of the earth people that happen to excel of their profession. Truly cannot say enough good things about her.

Robin has been our vet for more than 10 years, she is brilliant and the most thoughtful, caring, and empathetic vet we've ever had. When my beloved black lab Jake was at home his tumor ruptured ( we knew that one day it would happen) and we called Robin who dropped everything and came to our home and euthanized Jake while he laid on our bed and I had him snuggled in my arms. For this I will be eternally grateful to her.

Brace yourself Comox Valley, for you just acquired an amazing veterinarian! I had the chance to work with Dr Rainford for a couple years and watch how passionate, caring, and optimistic she is. Not only does she give amazing care to her patients, she includes the owners in their pet's care and shows compassion and understanding. I have trusted her with the care of multiple pets of my own, and she always took on the challenging cases with positive, bright energy. She helps make difficult decisions a little easier, and she was there for me when I doubted my choices. I could go on and on about how amazing Dr Rainford is, I would recommend her to the whole world if I could. :) Raintree vet is a beautiful clinic radiating with positive energy, and is very nicely arranged. Erin, the receptionist, is a lovely lady who will make you and your pet(s) feel at home as soon as you step through the door. She is a great listener and will happily answer your question as well as give lots of love to your "four-legged" companion. :)

I came to see Dr. Robin quite last minute while visiting family. I was super apprehensive because our vet in Vancouver is so great but the second I walked in the door, it felt good to be there. Super friendly staff who clearly love their jobs and Buddy was loving it too! Normally he shrieks when his nails are trimmed but I didn’t hear a peep. Dr Robin was able to test a lump I was worrying about and tell me the positive results immediately. They then said they’d send the results to my vet in Vancouver. I couldn’t find the other little bump during our appointment but of course found it that night. I popped in the next day on our walk and she checked it for us right on the spot. So blown away by the whole team’s kindness and compassion. Thank you all for everything and we will definitely come and see you again. Keep being awesome!

Raintree was recommended by a friend and even though we live in Campbell River, it's worth the drive to Comox. It is always the best experience for us and our Whoodle, Dezi. All the staff and both Vets are lovely. They are kind, caring, professional and so helpful whether I'm calling for information or there in person. Dezi is always a bit nervous at first but quickly put at ease with a little treat and the way she is treated by everyone there. Highly recommended.

I recently sought a second opinion for my unwell little dog at Raintree and from the moment I phoned for an appointment to the present I was absolutely impressed with the empathy, care and follow up my dog received. In three days they had a diagnosis for a potentially life threatening disease that my regular vet missed. Both Joan and Robin saw my dog over the course of two days and both are kind and wonderful veterinarians. All the staff I spoke with were amazing as well. All of these ladies love their jobs and it shows in the care and attention that they take in dealing with your pet. I was worried about my dog’s care over the long weekend but Robin stayed in touch and offered much needed and appreciated support as my worry level was through the roof! This extra support allowed me to relax a little and support my dog better as well. I could not be more grateful for the care my dog received from them and highly recommend this clinic for your pets care. Five stars isn’t enough!
