Brought my cat in for a checkup and the technicians were very rude and the receptionist mistaked my cat for a dog and just showed no care for their clients or pets. I felt uneasy the whole time dealing with this vet. I wouldn't come back that is forsure and they try and charge for every small thing they can. This is not a hospital that cares for the well being of animals but just seem their in it to make money. Do not recommend.

Our cat was suffering from a urinary tract blockage, we called this clinic, they gave us an appointment for the next day, 18 hours later. The appointment was on a Friday, of a long weekend, during the start up of covid. We brought our cat in, who was near non responsive at this point. It was confirmed that he had a blockage and needed to be treated immediately. They were unable to treat him due to no staff and the long weekend. They referred me to the DMV emergency vet. DMV told us our cat could have died if he went any longer untreated. His bladder was near exploding. They had nothing good to say about Cote saint luc vet. And they indicated that our cat should have been referred to emergency right away on our first call. It took 8 days and 4000$ to bring our cat back. Would it have been less time and money if I didnt wait 18 hours after the cat started showing signs of discomfort!?! Yes. Cote saint luc vet even tried to send me a bill of 90$. Stating over the phone that I had to pay their vet for the assessment. I had to pay 170$ for the assessment at emergency, even though this clinic did it already. Stay away from these scam artists. This is a perfect example of a vet clinic out to take you for every dollar they can. They don't show care for animals. Not professional.

A bit pricey, but worth it. The service is excellent: on-time appointments, vets take the time to answer your questions, and technicians that are caring for your furry friends. Note: they don't offer nighttime availability for emergencies.

I have no idea why no one has written a review yet for this Animal Hospital. They are absolutely fantastic and I dealt with 3 of their vets. My cat started off peeing everywhere, then not at all. Following 2 visits and a hospitalization for 3 days they found 2 tumors. They took such good care of them and called me daily for an update. Even now after they call every other day to see how my cat is doing. I unfortunately have a limited budget and they totally worked with me on it. They go one step at a time and do nothing unless you give the OK. They explain all the options and they do their best to accommodate you. They truly care for the animals first. Although it does remain an expensive affair, it cost me probably 1/2 to 2/3 of what it would have somewhere else. My cat is on chemo pills now which I can give myself. They are an amazing Animal Hospital.

They staff are kind and professional. They seem competent, although as I am not a veterinarian, it is difficult to say for certain. They are not cheep but I suspect that you get what you pay for in this industry. Overall, I like the establishment and their facilities. They are usually on time for appointments and they are comprehensive in their approach to care.

I have been bringing my animals to this vet for 15 years. My dog Scarlet has been sick her whole life. Dr. Cukierman has been Scarlets vet since she was diagnosed. She is amazing. There are really some amazing souls at this place and they truly love the animals here. They have done everything they can to keep Scarlet alive and happy and as much as they may be expensive in my opinion it is worth it. They are a hospital so that factors into the cost but I truly do not believe that Scarlet would be alive right now if not for them. Every vet will have mixed reviews because people are angry about whatever happens with their pet as it is a very sensitive issue but I can say first hand that my dog has needed to go there almost every month (sometimes more) for the last 13 years and I have gotten to know the staff personally and they are wonderful, good hearted people. The techs go above and beyond and the doctors are awesome. Would give more than 5 stars if possible. Only issue most people have is that they are expensive and of course push to do tests etc but that is what they are supposed to do in order to give the best possible answer to what is going on with the pet. ALSO they are still a business at the end of the day so of course it’s going to cost you. My advice wouldn’t be to not go here it would be if you’re not willing to spend your money on your pet then you shouldn’t have one. Thank you so much to everyone at this place for everything you do. There is a special place in heaven for everyone here that has gone above and beyond for Scarlet not to mention all the other animals I am POSITIVE they do it for as well. God bless you all. Ps. I have brought ALL my animals (cats and dogs) to be groomed by Andre over these years as well and he is just amazing. I honestly think he is some sort of animal whisperer because they absolutely calm down when he takes them and he always does a fantastic job. He’s wonderful as well.

Toke an appointment still waited over an hour without even apologizing for letting me wait so long. Charged me $40 for nail clipping on my tiny tea cup dog and missed the thumbs on top of that! $5 PER NAILS!! would of been cheaper to take her at a high-end human nail salon for that price!!!!! Also, the vet's attitude was quite negative, narrow minded and condescending on every thing down to saying organic food with natural ingredients for dogs is a waster of money and not good for their health that their prescribed food was way better quality that I should change my food to theirs. ALL of them started with corn meal or meat meal, NEVER with actual real ingredients such as 'chicken', how is that 'better' for my dog??!!. Full of herself all about making money not helping animals!! A fact!! Perhaps the other vets are nice but this one I've met wasn't! Don't know her name but she was an older blonde lady.

This clinic is the best. They are honest and caring and affordable, probably one of the only vets in the city who seemed more concerned with my cat (and me) then with how they'd could make money. And this was especially highlighted in comparison to how badly my case was handled by the animal health clinic. Huge difference.

Côte-Saint-Luc Hospital for animals did not offer any solutions for care when I had an emergency with my cat. I called and came into the store with my cat and the receptionist refused to even look at the cat or call a doctor or a technician to help. She couldn't even offer suggestions for care or answer questions. It felt very disheartening that a veterinarian hospital would hold such little regard for a pet and owner in need. Also I suggest they get better staff.

I took my dog here after having her mistreated from another vet hospital nearby. They took her in with love and wanted to do everything they could to help her. My dog suffered from a blockage in her intestine. Right away, they knew what had happened and took her in for surgery a soon as they had an opening. The day after her surgery she was back to her old self which is astonishing to me because we thought she was on her death bed before bringing her there. Truly thankful for them and will continue to recommend all pet owners to them!

The appointments are always prompt, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They're also always willing to squeeze you in if there's an emergency. I have heard, however, that there are slightly cheaper vets in the area.

I highly recommend this animal hospital for your pets ! The entire building is neat organized and overtly clean ! The staff are extremely caring towards family pets ! They are polite understanding and take the time to answer all questions and concerns you may have about your pets ! Weather you have an appointment or not they will accommodate your emergency needs to the best of their ability ! Your pets are not stressed waiting for their appointment time as you are seen either 5mins before or about 5mins after your set appointment time ! This animal hospital has lots of free parking right in front of its main entrance door ! They also take the time to give you a confirmation call to remind you of your upcoming scheduled appointments! Please consider this animal hospital next time your pet falls ill ! Your pet will thank you for the excellent care your have given them !

The hospital, the vets and the staff is amazing. We take our 2 cats and 2 dogs here even though we don't live in the area. They've treated an emergency urinary blockage, diabetes, allergies, and all routine checkups with the utmost diligence and care. Having changed vets many times before I find their pricing fair and I've never felt pressured towards a treatment. They get all the stars

Overpriced. Brought my cat because of beeathing congestion. They took a stomach x-ray and urine sample and kept him over night. Charged 300$ and nothing was done. Found out from another vet that he had a respiratory infection that needed pills to treat. He recovered within 3 days.

I have been bringing my dog Charlie to Dr Kalin ever since we moved to montreal west right until the day he died. She is extremely kind and intuitive with him and all the staff loved to spoil him. We will never forget the incredible efforts by her, Dr Cukierman and all the support staff in the last 2 weeks of his life (he had cancer) to really get him emergency referrals, MRIs and anything else we needed to try and diagnose and save him. At the end it was all about making him as comfortable as possible. I am forever indebted to these wonderful people for everything they’ve done for us and for Charlie. Thanks for being our angels when we were losing ours.

I asked for a rabies vaccine for my cat, they put in, add another more, without my consent, then they ask me to pay more. Every time I talk to them on the phone the price is different. Dr Cybulski is primarily responsible for this whole situation. Also I couldn't have the Animal Health Certificate even though they already did the procedure and I already paid for it. I highly recommend avoiding this abusive clinic. (Original) Une très mauvaise expérience avec cette clinique veterinaire, les personnel non professionnel qui pense juste aux argents. J'ai demande pour mon chat un vaccin contra la rage, ils ont mis, ajoute un autre de plus, sans mon consentement, puis ils me demande de payer plus. Chaque fois que je parle au téléphone avec eux le prix est différent. Le docteur Cybulski, c'est la principal responsable de tout cette situation. De plus je ne pouvais pas avoir le Certificat de santé de l'animal, même si ils ont déjà fait la procédure et j'ai déjà paye pour çà. Je recommande fortement d’éviter cette clinique abusive.
