Great place to take your pet. Drive up service, the pets get picked up from your car and returned after. Super after hours service, pick up at the house and brought back the same night.

absolutely best vet. my dog has had two emergencies and both time they said to bring him right aways. they are friendly and helpful. they work quickly. always have time for questions and concerns. prices are better then most places. definitely 5 star experience

Absolutely love this place....we had an incident with our Daughter's dog who attacked our little dog and put 6-8 holes in his ribs and they were very polite professional right the start the end as well had to stay until his staples were removed but the night before he was scheduled to have staples removed we had to bring him in again as the same dog attacked him again and the vet on call did an amazing job and fixed our dog Casper up quickly we were maybe in the 1 hr or so. Thanks for everything Virden Animal hospital u went above and beyond the call of duty will recommend everyone to u!!!

I've had nothing but great service here. I have called after hours, twice, and received wonderful guidance and after hours care. Staff were very kind and caring when we took our last dog to be euthanized. They are willing to accomodate our busy schedules which is nice.

Did and excellent job with the surgery of my cat, was professional. And both times friendly. However on one occasion, I tried to strike up conversation to be friendly and build rapport, and it was sort of avoided. This is not a huge issue, but leaves room for improvement. I would much rather prefer good rapport with a vet, then simply a place to get a service done in exchange for cash, as i can go anywhere for that.

Dr Carla is so nice, you can tell she really cares for animals and it shines through in her work. My dogs have always been happy to come here. The prices are on par with every other clinic but the service is superior. I would highly recommend any of the wonderful vets at VAH, they will go the extra mile for your animal's care.

Our cat was critically ill on a Saturday evening and the vet responded immediately and met us at the clinic out of hours and helped to treat him with fluids, antibiotics and emergent care overnight. Fabulous service and friendly caring staff
