I am extremely frustrated with South Tower Animal Hospital. The treatment we recieved from the vet with our cat was wonderfully kind and caring however the treatment I have recieved by reception when I go to buy food is appalling. I stood ignored at the counter for an uncomfortably long time and then while I was being helped the woman abruplty stopped helping me and began to converse with a gentleman who had just come in. I had my toddler with me and was in a rush ( indicated to the receptionist). It was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have had in a long time and I am so irrate I am considering a different vet altogether. There are so many in the area and many of them have wonderful reviews.

Uunfortunately the new we received during our visit was not good news. However, the doctor there was very professional and did all that he could to give us his best opinion. I would recommend this Animal hospital. The treatment received from a call I made to them last minute for an animal who had never been their paient was very good.

Dr. Oren Levstein and his team are very professional and care about the health and wellbeing of pets. Our French Bulldog Tito came with existing problems in his elbow that were previously treated by other vets and Dr Oren explained in an understanding manner what is really wrong and what needs to be done without pushing into unnecessary treatments and medication the surgery was done efficiently and our little one is recovering well and happier than ever. I would trust Dr Orens opinion compared to other vets we encountered in the beginning. The admin and nursing staff are also really helpful friendly and great with follow ups. We changed to this clinic originally because I had worked with the previous veterinarian and staff as a co-op student. However, the current vet now is just as awesome and cares about the animals, and the staff still remains amazing. They are kind, caring, and friendly! As long as that good atmosphere remains, for sure I will keep bringing my (and my family's) pet(s) to them. :)

I took my kitten Noodle here for a free first visit. The staff were all very kind to me, and loving to Noodle. He didn't even break a sweat when it was time for his examination. The doctor was friendly and obviously loves her job. I felt comfortable booking Noodle's neutering surgery there, which went smoothly as well. They kept him safe and calm and even gave him a blanket for the car ride home (it was cold outside and he is hairless). You can definitely feel good about leaving your animal in their care. This vet and his team are absolutely amazing! They are highly personable and really care about the animals they support. Every time we go here our vet always takes the time to fully explain and go over our options and provides us with great suggestions. He always demonstrates respect for our judgement and decisions which I find really refreshing after previous experiences I've had in Guelph with different vets. We definitely made the right choice by choosing South Tower.

We rushed our dear old pup in last night, in respiratory crisis. After all their efforts, we knew it was time to let our sweet Bonnie go. The staff could not have been warmer, kinder, or showed us more care and compassion. They rushed our Bonnie in and did all they could to make her comfortable. Another vet in town would not see us until her appointments were done with, even though our dog was obviously in deep crisis and distress. I'm so grateful for the grace and loving hearts they shared with us during our time of immense sorrow and pain. They all demonstrated a measure of empathy and respect that helped us although our hearts were breaking. Thank you....all of you. Your response and generous support was exemplary.

My Cat is staying overnight at this hospital right now and I arrived after hours. Dr.Oren and the rest of his team had no issues staying late and explained everything in detail when doing the procedure. I felt they were beyond helpful. Dr. Oren visits the hospital after hours to check up on overnight patients and this lowers my stress level of the situation a lot. Even when I needed to go out for a walk to decide on what to do they had no issues with that. Compassionate about your needs when it comes to your pet.

I have received wonderful care here. After a year of keeping my dog well, Dr Oren made a house call to put her to rest. This was the most compassionate vet experience I've ever been through. He reassured me when I questioned my decisions and supported me leading up to and following Penni's death. Marion has been so supportive and would ask how I was doing regularly. Penni's portrait now proudly hangs in the dog room. Our two cats continue to receive great care and I cannot recommend this team enough.

We first visited South Tower when our regular vet was on vacation and they were the Emergency vet. We liked Dr. Oren and his team so much that we switched to them and haven't looked back. They are always so kind to our animals and make them feel comfortable even when they are sick or stressed. I love that they explain everything fully and give us options to choose from and I have never felt any pressure or guilt trips. When one of our elderly cats lost control of his hind end, they took us right away and were so compassionate. We even received a hand written card signed by everyone with little personal notes. They really do go above and beyond!

I'm certain that Dr. Oren and his staff will provide awesome care for your pet , while demonstrating compassion for both you and your pet. I am a large animal veterinarian fostering a dog for a local rescue. This dog had extensive surgery performed for multiple ailments. The staff genuinely cares about the detail in their jobs, the concerns of the clients, and the medical and emotional care for their patients. I'll be making a change to this clinic for my dog's future surgical / dental needs!

We called this morning and were able to get in right away (even when this is out first time visiting.) Having not been here before we were a but apprehensive but we had a great experience. Dr. Oren was very thorough and knowledgable, as well as his staff. They gave us many different options for our situation and we didn't feel pressure to do anything until we see how the medication helps with our dog.

Absolutley appalling experience I had - a what was supposed to be a complementary exam. Brought my 9 year old cat in she’s been having blood in her stool thus why I brought her in I commute from Kitchener so I had to make a late appointment 730 got in had her pre examined by 2 I’m assuming students who were so nice then said the vet would come in shortly after. Ohh and he did !!! He looked very annoyed even having to look at her she was on the floor immediately grabbed her neck and forced her on the table of course any cat would react and mine did hissed and swatted at him. Then he procceds to tell me because she’s in attack mode he would no be able to look at her and would have to sadate her ( more money?) tells me I can try adding more fiber to her diet if I wanted to try anything (hand on the door ready to leave)I said after grabbing my cat the way you did any cat would react that way and he try’s to tell me it’s supposed to calm them down ( yeah right) I have been to a vet before with her and no one of them have ever treated her this way! Literally had a 730 appointment was gone and out by 745 in tears with my 5 year old daughter ( her first vet experience I might add- watching her beloved cat treated this way!) I asked him about a glove cause the 2 students mentioned he could use one if she wanted to try to scratch— he said since being in attack mode he wouldn’t even attempt it) as quickly as he left I immediately picked up my cat up just fine and started crying the poor receptionist seemed soo bewildered as I’m holding my poor kiara by what had just happened soo I told her about his horrible treatment I know never to go to this animal hospital and I will be advising anyone to stay away who loves their animals horrible vet who should be fired!!!!!! Ohh and no exam so my poor cat must go another day or two till I can find someone who can actually tell me what’s wrong with her... I feel so robbed of my time and I’m soo sad I brought my cat here... please if you love your animal do not bring you animal here!!!!!!!!!

Very friendly staff and knowledgable doctor. My dog was quite sick, and thousands of dollars down after visiting few doctors we still had no answers. We were recommended to come to South Tower and our experience has been amazing. The doctor made my dog comfortable by chatting with him and getting to know him first. He did a thorough exam, and figured out the problem. After 1 week of treatment, my munchkin looked better than ever and you could tell the difference in his health. I owe my dog's life to this place. Not to mention, i live in Toronto and its totally worth the two hour drive!
