Dr Bajwa and staff is very professional and reliable. My dog has a very complicated situation and Dr Bajwa is using his experience and knowledge to figure out her issue. Amazing veterinary hospital! We got a kitten from a rescue and she referred us to this vet and we are so happy we came here. Dr Abassi is very nice, and took care of our kitten when she got sick. He didn't push anything on us, but went over all of the test results and prescribed some medicine, and she was on the mend in no time. Yesterday we had to put our 14 year old dog to sleep - I called in the morning and the receptionist was so nice and kind, as I was very upset on the phone. I explained that he had a stroke, and Dr.Bajwa showed up 15 minutes later with the vet tech, and he was kind and respectful to both my husband, myself and our dog Pickle. He explained everything to us, and was just wonderful. I would highly recommend Pyne Hills to anybody!

I was visiting New Tecumseth from out of province and I knew my dog was unwell so took him to the emergency vet who unfortunately turned us away and said there was nothing wrong with him. My dog was super lethargic and unresponsive so I called Pyne Hills, they took us in same day and Dr. Sami diagnosed my dog with a high fever right away. He got him on antibiotics and he’s made a full recovery since. Dr Sami and all the staff at Pyne Hills were patient, kind and took my concerns seriously. They went through all diagnostic options and prices and did not push any treatments on me but let me make informed decisions. Very personable staff and wonderful care for the animals!

Very good Surgeons. Not my usual Vet Clinic (as I live 3 hours from Tottenham). However, one of my Dogs has had surgery, performed by Dr. Abbasi. Some of the front desk staff were very helpful, others could use a little bit of a refresher in common sense and compassion, especially when one is travelling from quite a distance, upon arrival. The Office Manager, was excellent with us, and we appreciate her time with directions and quickly fitting us in, in our semi emergency. We did not have the opportunity of meeting her, as she had left for the day when we had arrived. Dr. Abbasi was wonderful with follow-up care and was very kind and knowledgeable. We appreciate his care very much, for our little Doberman. It was very nice learning that Dr. Abbasi knows our regular vet Ravi. He kindly offered to connect with Ravi if we needed a consult relayed to our Clinic. Would recommend this Clinic if you live in the area. Dr. Abbasi is an excellent Vet, a great surgeon and very kind.

I had the most wonderful experience at Pyne Hills Veterinary Clinic. I had my kitten declawed and the staff including the receptionist were the most compassionate and informative people i have ever encountered in the Dr.'s of Animals. They even called me to update me on Lonesome after his surgery was done. Their clinic is spotless and their prices cannot be compared to any other Vet, local or elsewhere...they truly believe in looking after the pockets of their customers. This is an updated review. I was contacted back about the refund that I gave and was told it will be etransfered back to my account. It's been a couple days and still haven't received it. Ive emailed constantly and some days I don't even get a reply back. Im tired of chasing back and forth after this issue. I just wanted to say that Dr. Naeem Bajwa and the team were super amazing to me. Unfortunately, yesterday I had to have my dog euthanized. Dr Bajwa was just so supportive, so gentle, sincere and genuine. It is a difficult thing to do in life. I can say that he was just so very lovely and really gave me the vibe that he cared and wanted to help as much as he possibly could. I highly recommend him as a vet. They are quick to see your pets and very accommodating. Will return in the future for medical visits for my pets

On July 8, 2020, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our dog to rest. Our regular vet was booked until the following week, so after calling around to different vets in the area, we got an appointment at Pyne Hills. We took our girl in, sat with her on the floor until the vet came in. He came in, asked what was wrong, hardly listened to a word we said, then told us he was going to give her the sedative. At least he was nice enough to explain the procedure to us. He told us it would take some time for the sedative to take effect and he would be back. After about 10 minutes, he came back in with a technician, who basically sat on top of our terminally ill, sedated dog, as the vet was going to shave a spot for the final injection.(I do understand she had to hold our dogs head, for the safety of the vet, but at that point, she was so weak she could hardly move.) We showed him the spot on her other leg that had already been shaved, as she had been in the emergency vet July 6-7th. He said usually when an IV had already been in place, they wouldn't be able to get the vein again, but he tried anyway, jabbing her repeatedly. When he couldn't get the needle in the vein, he roughly shaved a spot on her other leg for the injection. The vet and the technician left the room and so graciously allowed us "a few minutes" to say goodbye. We were told we would get a call when her remains were ready for pick up. Three weeks went by without a call, so I called them to check the status. I was told they were there, and when I asked how long they had been there, they couldn't give me an answer. I knew saying goodbye to our best friend was going to be extremely difficult, but the whole situation was made so much worse by the staff at this clinic. Zero compassion from anyone we dealt with. I would never take an animal to this place for any reason. Heartbreaking day made worse by the team at this clinic.

I took my new Puppy there for her 2cd set of shots and exam. I am not sure if they had other things going on, as they seemed in a hurry. Dr came in gave Trixie her shots and left without discussing or examining her. I was not told her weight or if she was healthy and a proper weight. I felt invisible. I dont even know the doctors name. I have considered giving them a second chance but after reading reviews I doubt it. To bad they were convenient close and was happy with the cost. Disappointed as I need a clean bill of health and need to know about it.

This vet gave us a really amazing experience. They were the only vet open on Sundays, and let us come in for a last minute appointment. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. The doctor was super understanding and calm, explained everything through the process. They were also able to take us in for our appointment time -- some vets are always late to appointments. I was referred to this vet from the doberman rescue down the street. The vet is pretty knowledgeable and understanding of my concerns. Overall he is reasonably prices for exams and he seems to actually care for your animal. I would definitely recommend. The only issue for me is that he is 40 mins away.

The experience left much to be desired and overall, is not a clinic I would want to bring my pet to if I had a choice. Upon being setup in the exam room, I waited about 45 minutes for the vet to show up and do a very quick examination, and then proceed to strongly recommend an aggressive treatment plan that I did not request. I was straightforward in what the situation was, and exactly what I was looking for with regards to diagnostics, but despite saying no the first time, it was added to the estimate, until it was read off to me again at which point I said that I did not want the additional tests. Being able to listen to your clients needs without aggressively making recommendations, especially if the animal is already under the care of another vet who just happened to be closed on that day, is not good practice and shows little respect for the owner, original vet, and even the animal. The overall attitude towards treatment is aggressive in wanting to treat things with medications immediately, as opposed to truly determining if there is actual need for it. A more conservative approach to medicine is needed, especially with the rise in antibiotic resistance.

Went in for a simple Diagnoses, cat had been constipated. Did feel test, then butchered the cats neck with a poor shave cutting his skin when they had to take blood. Cat was given an antibiotic incase of infection. Blood work results not disclosed for 2 plus days. No laxative given. Cat was simply dehydrated and they took two days to tell us. Then told to bring him back in to put him on IV. After a brief research online found cats prefer mutiple water dishes through the house to drink. Did this and boom he's drinking and pooping no problem. Vet didn't even suggest this. A whopping $450 to butcher and do nothing for the cat.

i would like to add a disclaimer to my review. I am not committing any crime and I am not being slanderous by writing this review. I am within my rights to put this review here and no one has a right to harass me or my family member for my review. No one has the right to call the owners. I am simply giving my review on a family members experience with this vet which I would not recommend. Any direct contact with the owners or the person which wrote this review are not to be contacted by anyone that works at the business being review. That is harassment. A review is not always going to be positive and some will be disappointing to the business. But it is my right. They treated and did surgery on my family members 15 year old dog, who had cancer but was very much alive and rambunctious. The owner wanted them to do surgery to try and remove a mass that was bothering the dogs shoulder. They were to remove a tumour but instead of seeing the sheer size of it and stopping, they continued cutting until the Incision went from the top of her back on her shoulder all the way to underneath her under pit. It was so massive and so painful that no amount of drugs could stop the pain and she cried for 36 hours. During this time, the dog was taken back to the vet where she was given a pain medicine which kept her quiet for an hour. Then she continued to cry until she died.

about two months ago I took me 6 month old dachshund puppy and it was diagnosed with parvo. Dr.Bajwa advised that to give him licuid shots to keep him better since he was allert he did not needed to be hospitalised. he said take him home and after 3 days bring him back and if hes ok well give him booster shots for parvo. I followed hes advised and on the night when I took him home he got really bad. in the morning I took him back and they said they have to hospitalise him. they called me the they after and they said my puppy had passed away the night before. I did some research and I have found out that there are no booster shots for parvo. the shots for parvo are the 3 shots that a poppy has to recive before hes 6 months old. shots are actually the viruse that they inject to the puppy so they can fight it off to make the imunity system stronger. that doctor was not suppused to inject my puppy with that shot and thats exactlly what has cuased my puppy to pass away. the clinic is not clean and Im sure they do not follow the persigurs to keep the clinic clean from virus based on my experience. I highly sudgest not to go to this clinic if you love to keep youre animal healthy. if you want to make sure youre pet to recive the best care for sure this is not the place.

I had a very poor experience at this clinic. The staff are not helpful and when you call they act like you are inconveniencing them. I also would’ve appreciated meeting the doctor before surgery as the doctor who performed the exam was not the same that did the surgery. They also could not provide me with an appropriate sized cone for aftercare which was very inconvenient and I was told to “call around to other clinics” to find an appropriate size. This information would have been helpful before my appointment as I could’ve prepared in advance. Really disappointed. We won’t be returning.

I own a K9 business with high drive breeds of dog and I always use Dr. Abassi for anything we need from general vaccinations through porcupine quill removal if needed. I have been bringing my working dogs to him since 2011 and now that I have relocated to close to Guelph and the vet clinics/ OVC that surround me, I still choose to drive to Tottenham. Dr. Abassi has always been fair to me and my animals and I never feel that I am being sold anything other than what is required for a speedy recovery. Luckily, we rarely need to visit but when we do, it can be an emergency situation and never once have I called and been asked to wait or come back. I have received nothing but the best professional care I could ask for.

Dr Bajwa and his staff have been excellent with all of our fur babies. We have been taking our "guys" there since Dr Post opened up. I recommend this clinic to all fur baby parents.

Definitely not a Veterinarian you can trust with your puppy. Brought in my puppy to have her tail docked and was told it would take a couple of hours. Received a call two hours later saying she died. Very rude staff and Doctor was ignorant. Said to report him and his insurance will compensate me very sad. If he compensates me he said it will prove he's guilty. Dropped off my puppy healthy and supposedly trusted hands and picked her up frozen in a bag. Shame on you.

I've been bringing my 10 year old dog to Pyne Hills for 2 years now. Dr. Abbasi and Dr. Bajwa are awesome with my little guy and they treat him with respect. Both doctors are very knowledgable, attentive and kind. Their prices are a lot lower in every category from teeth cleaning to more complicated procedures in comparison to the two previous vets I've used. Our dog has required a lot of vet attention throughout his life so I'm almost too familiar with vet pricing. I highly recommend this clinic!

Dr. Abassi and his staff is by far, provided the best veterinary care for my dogs. Few months back, my dog Katie had a cyst in her bottom gums. I did not feel confident with my vet at that time with their recommendations (printed out from google!!!) and they were quoting such ridiculous price! Luckily my niece highly recommended Pyne hills clinic, specifically Dr. Abassi and she was right! Dr. Abassi was so accommodating, very knowledgeable and compassionate. I live in Brampton, but I don't mind bringing my dogs now to Tottenham. Our dogs are family and they only deserve the best care.

As the primary veterinarian for the past four years for my dog, I’ve been very satisfied with the service here. The hours of operation are great for people with tight and varied schedules. Despite being a busy practice, appointments run generally on time and waiting is minimal. The front desk staff are courteous and friendly. The office and examining rooms are clean. Both Dr. Bajwa and Dr. Abassi are knowledgeable and compassionate.

The Vet was unwilling to explore less invasive options, that other vets suggested, ironically at a cost of 3500! Not suspicious whatsoever lol! Vets are very good and prices much lower than other vets in the area, however the other staff on the other hand not so much... Had my dog in this week to rerun tests and was potentially looking at a serious medical condition. Five days and didn't hear back about results (was told they would call), called and was hung up on then when I called back was told that she had not gotten the vet, that she had the results but wouldn't give them to me and a vet would call me that night... 24hrs+ later no call so I called again, again said that results are in, said the vet was gone (several hours before the clinic closed so there had to be a vet there), she did get the vet (test results came back abnormal) to call when I reminded her that I was hung up in last night and was supposed to receive a call last night, however that vet said that he'd get the other vet to call in the morning with more information and to decide how to proceed and never heard from them. Not impressed with their lack of urgency in dealing with this, if tests results are coming back abnormal and there's potentially a serious medical condition going on I would expect them to be in touch when they said they are and the rudeness of the people answering the phones and their lack of ability to pass on information to the vets, it should not take a week or longer to get information on tests that should take 1-3 days tops

I was quoted $1000 in Bolton for a dental. Dr Abassi quoted $550-$650. When I went to pay it was $499. How often do you get such honestly from a vet.....we haven't had any major issues with illness but the entire staff seem kind and competent. My sister with her 2 dogs and my friend who breeds Setters also switched to Pyne Hills after I recommend they do and are happy.

Dr. Abbasi is the best doctor I know and let me tell you , being a multi pets house we visited in the past many vet doctors and none compares with the knowledge and kindness of Dr. Abbasi. Most of the vet clinics are money oriented and they try to trick you in with unnecessary exams and tests plus the incompetency some vets exhibited so this created a trust issue with me until I have met Dr. Abbasi through my friend who runs an animal sanctuary and I am literally happy that finally I know a doctor I can trust . The clinic is clean and welcoming and the rest of the staff really nice.

Dr. Sami and his team at Pyne Hills are nothing short of amazing, I cannot recommend them enough!! My little frenchie had a severe ear infection (thanks to a different vet office in my local town -who did not treat and handle it properly the first time I brought her in) Within 24 hours of visiting Dr. Sami and his team, my dogs ears were almost completely healed up and she was back to her playful self. We will be making the drive from Bradford to Tottenham from now on. Kind staff, fair pricing, and a vet that actually cares about his animals and clients!

Both the vets at this location are amazing doctors. I take my cat in regularly for her check-ups for the past 3 years and Dr.Bajwa and Dr.Abbasi always make sure she is looked after with the appropriate care. I never have to wait past my appointment time and she is given the doctor's full attention upon examination without interruptions. Even though this vet is a bit of commute for me, the service provided is like no other and is worth the hour long drive. I would definitely recommend this clinic :)
