A month ago we brought my French mastiff, who was my emotional support companion, in because something was very wrong. When my fiance called on a Sunday to make an emergency appointment, the vet in charge (Janessa) talked him out of bringing her in that day. She sounded like she didnt want to come in. When we did bring her in the next day, we told her to test her for everything and we didnt care the cost as she is a family member and not just a pet. We told the vet everything we could think of as far as symptoms then kept my dog for 3 days with no test results back all while still charging me for her stay and tests. Then told us she thinks it's kidney disease and we can treat her and she will be ok but might not live as long. She sent us home with antibiotics and special food. A week later my baby was getting worse so we brought her back and a different vet then figured out she wasnt tested for lyme (we live on a large property with Bush and long grass). The new vet then in 5 minutes was able to diagnose her and wanted to do an aggressive treatment for lyme for 3 days but then we would know. 2 days later we had to put her down. At that point, we had paid about $2000 to them and I made payment arrangements with them for the rest. Our other dog ended up being sick and we brought him in and he also had lyme, which they caught asap and hes fine but we have a farm cat who we need to take in and when I called to make an appointment, they leveraged the cat and said I had to pay half my owing bill plus the cats bill before the vet would see us. I was there 2 days ago making my arranged payment and still I'm treated this way and our cats life was used to make us pay them faster when we had made arrangements and were actively paying them.
