I find the comments that are negative, extreamily unfounded. I have dogs and cats all underthe care of Dr Masi, and hia staff not once have I ever felt they were rude of disrespectful. He is upfront and honest with you about your pets and their health. If that is a problem for you then maybe you shouldn't own pets. I cannot understand why. Never once have they been anything, but more than fair compassionate and caring towards myself and my pets.

When I had given up hope of helping my cat, he was the only vet who took the time to sit down and weight out our options. He admitted that he wasn't God, but will do his best for my cat to be happy and pain free for as long as possible. But when the time cat she passed away, him and his staff were amazing at getting the cremation and everything set up. They care more about the animal than the money. Highly recommend bringing your animals here.

Birch Haven Rescue & Rehabilitation Services BHRR

A foster for an ~10 year old sweet senior dog - had an appointment today at this place and was refused service. This dog is going to be a transfer on August 19th to our group from another rescue organisation and is having some medical concerns. The foster home of the other group had made this appointment last week for this canine to be seen. He was booked for an exam, an UA, c&s plus a blood glucose test. He had recently finished treatment for an UTI, was doing well, yet now; quite possibly, it had not completely resolved or maybe there is something else happening. We do not know, hence, why the appointment was made with a Veterinarian. I would have called in promptly to authorise any additional diagnostics required based upon the exam findings, approved any treatments necessary plus to pay for all of his bills via a credit card. The Hospital was aware that this was a rescue dog, and waits until today, refuses service to the foster home, then states that they do not want to deal with rescues. Furthermore, this Hospital informs the other rescue when they reached out today to discuss why they did this, that all rescues are ‘headaches to deal with’. I have been involved in animal rescue for almost 30 years, and this was shocking to hear what happened from the foster and the other rescue contact. Very inappropriate plus unprofessional of them, and this precious old dog who has gone through more than enough in their life prior to rescue has to now wait until Wednesday to be seen at another Hospital. We have not had any prior experience or even knowledge of this Hospital, yet this is not a business that we can recommend any of our friends, family, adopters, supporters to consider using for their cherished animals.

The stuff was nice and polite , they have told me in front the service will cost 500 dollars and 50 extra for x rays that acceptable price, when i was at my appointment doctor was talking about 800 plus dollars for blood work and x rays and some other services for my cat , and explaining what should be done it was confusing so i asked him again ,his respond was he has wasted 20 minutes on me and will not explain again , i told him that he has an accent and its hard to understand all ,, so he told me to leave, extremely unprofessional, and prior to it he was checking cats temperature and ask me to hold her ,so i got bitten by her , that not extensible and unprofessional , i will not recommend that clinic , save your money .

The only reason I gave them a star was because they don’t have a DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE option. Worst experience with any medical institution I’ve ever had. A vet who does not respect your animal should not be in the business. No respect for my poor and ailing Bosco who’s 7, sadly at deaths door it seems and couldn’t have wanted out of there more. RAN to the exit. Also tried to tell me my legitimate papers for Bosco were for a CAT not a dog.. almost as if to find any reason to kick us to the curb. Human garbage and that’s as polite as I can put that. Any good reviews on here are baffling

Every pet has their last day... After a full and happy life our old dog left us recently and it couldn't have been more sensitively handled by their wonderful staff. Their care and compassion made letting our old friend go a sensitive and moving experience. When you eventually must say good bye to your dear friend, I can't recommend them enough.

Amazing Dr Massi! Doesn’t gouge you for services or try to up sell. He’s very fair, professional and is more matter of fact than some other vets are. He’s no nonsense. You won’t hear his voice change two octaves higher. He’s not that kind of doctor. The clinic is very Covid vigilant. Very clean. He looks after our five animals and he’s thorough. You won’t leave the office feeling like you’ve been overcharged. He’s very knowledgeable also.

The staff here are amazing ! I recently switched to cooking my dog food and knew I needed supplements for her new diet. Every vet I tried to call didn't carry them and wouldnt order it for me. This was the only place that would order it and it only took a few days! Their prices are more than fair and the hospital itself was clean and looked nice When I walked in. I will be going to them next time my fur baby needs anything :) thank you for all your help!

I have been going to Leslie Davis Animal Hospital for 6 years. They take care of my dog and cat. I just had to let everyone know about Melissa, she is the vet's assistant. This weekend, I called her about my dog and some health concerns, she always listens, asks great questions and truly cares. After speaking with Melissa I felt better and knew what to do next. Every experience with her is exceptional! thank you again and to your wonderful clinic. I recommend you to all my friends.

We had Dr. Masi do neutering for our chi puppy Benji. He did that at the best price. I called 5-7 clinics in neighborhood to get quotes, but this is surely the most affordable place. We are happy with the surgery and how fast our puppy recovered, in just 2-3 days.

Amazing experience! Took both of my cats there as I am a first time pet owner (have had lots of family pets but moved out on my own with my boyfriend and adopted two cats) and had such an amazing professional and welcoming experience. We went here to get their vaccinations and to get a check on the newer kitten. One of my girls (the older) has really bad anxiety and she still came home happy and cuddling us! They knew exactly how to handle her. The vet was very professional and informative and did not rush us at all. The vet tech Melissa was super friendly and made us really comfortable..we loved her and she was great with our babies! We will definately make this our go to vet because of the way they were with us and our baby kitties. We Definately recommend them and prices are also great which with such genuine and caring treatment is an extra bonus!!

My 13 year old Jack Russell Terrier had her teeth cleaned and Dr. Masi had to remove 16 rotten teeth. He kept to his word on our agreed price. He is very professional and capable. Other vets would have charged for the extraction of each tooth on top of the price.

Dr. Masi is a wonderful caring vet and has been looking after my pets for the last five years. When I had an injured stray cat show up in my backyard, he was very compassionate and patched him up perfectly. Cookie the stray is quite mischievous and part of our family now. Highly recommend Dr. Masi !

Very caring vet and staff ! I've been taking my cats to Dr. Masi for quite awhile now and he is wonderful. I took in a stray cat living on our street that had been attacked by a racoon and they were the only vet open on a Sunday. He treated the poor cat with such compassion and stitched up his leg beautifully. He's fully recovered now and has a second chance thanks to Dr. Masi and his staff, Melissa and Courtney. Highly recommended !

Dr. Masi and team are fantastic. My dog Laika has been under Dr. Masi’s care for the last 3 years and he’s been wonderful to her . The highlight is that dr. Masi is experienced and does not take advantage of your emotions to overcharge and get something done if it’s not needed. The pricing is good and the staff are excellent. Thank you Dr. Masi and Melissa for taking care of Laika. Highly recommend this clinic and staff. I make a 35 minute commute to get to the clinic and I do it because they are the best ????

Doctor is very rude and refused to answer a simple question about the clinic . We brought our dog for dental check up and when we asked about process and who will be watching my dog after the surgery and how many people assisting him at the time of surgery the answer was: it's not your business and not your concern. Really? It's my dog and I have a right to ask any questions related to the surgery. Cheap and not professional. Never will recommend to anybody, and obviously not coming back. It was first and last time.

Would give 0 stars if it was possible. The receptionist was very polite, and tried to be helpful. She maintained professionalism through a difficult interaction. Unfortunately, I cannot at all say the same thing about Dr. Masi. We attempted to book an appointment for a surgery. The clinic told us that we needed pre-surgery checkup, but that didn't make sense to us. We asked for reasons, and they told us a perfectly reasonable answer (because they haven't seen the kittens before. Absolutely fair). We were asking questions about scheduling, and cost for the pre, and the surgery itself. The doctor was extremely irritated with all the questions, and was very unprofessional. He was being VERY AGGRESSIVE and HOSTILE. We were simply asking questions... and he abruptly hung up on me. I think to qualify for the job of taking care of animals, you should have the skill and patience to deal with humans. Right? Outcome was that he ordered his receptionist to cancel our appointment, and told her to PROHIBIT us from being booked with the clinic. "He told me to tell you that you should get the surgery at another clinic" the receptionist said. I think I'm happy to follow this recommendation. Even before stepping into this clinic, I discovered that the service and relations to people is total garbage. Frankly, seemed like he was upset he couldn't get us to pay him for his additional service.... what a shame. Dr. Masi definitely has anger issues. His rudeness and unprofessionalism are unacceptable. Avoid this clinic if you can... definitely worst service received, without the service even being received. Literally was REFUSED service lol.... Thank you Brittany for your patience! I hope you find a better boss!

Our cat was on deaths door.. we followed the force feeding regimen the doctor recommend along with the medicine. Little Elvis has really come around!

I recently had my dog neutered at this clinic and although his surgery went well, the doctor had tied a very tight bandage around his paw and I was not given any further instruction on what to do in regards to it. I was told I would be emailed instructions with information on what actions to take pre and post operation, which I did not receive. Due to the lack of communication the tied bandage had caused my dogs paw to be inflamed as blood flow was restricted. My dog has been in severe pain and was unable to walk for a couple days; I was charged by the clinic for pain injection that was caused from the clinics mistake. This clinic should practice effective communication with patience in order to prevent this from happening again.
