You know that we don't usually bother to set evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian is classified in the category of Animal hospital.
We have been going there for 11 years and the staff has been excellent.
Very friendly staff! Was able to take my cat on quickly and easily.

Very happy with the care my furry babies get from Dr. Soucy. You can tell by the way she talks to them and handles them, that she became a vet because she truly loves animals. Would have given 5 stars, but I find them quite expensive.
They do good work, run a shelter charity as well. However they're pricey
Always caring professional service
Very helpful and caring
They've always treated our dog with so much care!
They have an African gray
I have been going there for ten years with rabbits and cats. Everyone there has always been helpful and caring. They take the time to answer questions. They are very loving to the animals. You can tell they are doing what they love.

One of the only places that will accept wildlife on behalf of the Atlantic wildlife institute in the Saint John area. Was very grateful for this on a few occasions!
Top notch.
Dr. Adams will go to lengths to ensure all avenues have been looked into. Speaking with a few locals, it was mentioned that her years of experience and expertise will give you comfort in knowing your pet is being cared for by a top veterinarian. In conjonction with Dr. Soucy's experience, between the two of them, it is a well rounded team. The only reason I haven't left a 5 star review is because there are a lot of new faces and it takes time to create a solid rapport.
This is not an exotic vet and should not be advertised as one do not take any rabbits there! Stay away read these most recent 1 star reviews!! Unfortunately I have spent 2 years going to this place and have always left feeling they do not care about my little family members quality of life nor the owners concerns! Very unprofessional and underknowledged. Everything is a guess from there and we pay for it. This place continues to go down hill in service yet the prices continue to go up. I had both of my buns in for surgery and was not contacted with an update on their status the whole time even when I had called and was told I would get a return call with update to ease my worries. Never happened and they were kept there for 8 hours!! These are our kids. I eventually showed up worried sick and very unpleased. I am grateful but suprised there were no complications post surgery after the lack of concern or empathy I was shown. Now I see more reviews of someones bun leaving with a spinal issue! Absolutely terrible. Terrible for owning up to their lack of effort and knowledge. I would not reccomend this vet to anyone.
Had a terrible experience here. We adopted a kitten and we had everything (shots, neuter) booked through Fairvale. We booked his first appt, booked his neuter for 4 months of age and away we went. We took him in today for his neuter and about an hour later we get a call from Dr. Sucie and she was rude from the moment the call started. She was angry that he had been booked for his neuter at 4 months old saying that they never neuter before 5 or 6 months of age. She did say that kittens can be neutered before then but they don't reccomend it because of the risk for an elective surgery. I asked her to clarify the risks so I could know and she angrily named them off. She seemed to put all the blame on the person who booked the appointment saying they hired new staff since then but, the vet who examined him the first time should have seen the neuter on his chart and alerted us then. When we called to book said procedure the person on the phone had spoken to a vet there to confirm that it was ok and everything was a go. He had gone in for his first appt with them and they knew at this point he was booked to be neutered a month later. Why at that point hadn't they said anything? I appreciate that she let us know there is a risk but there was no reason to be rude. She was angry and her tone was implying some kind of fault on our end. I can understand that people have a bad day but this experience was terrible.
Wonderful knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have taken great care of our furry family members over the many years we have visited.
Friendly staff, vets took good care of my cat. Expensive though.
This has always been my family's vet. My mom has spent 10k+my sister in the thousands, and 3k+ for myself w a very sick rescue cat. We rescued a second cat w gingivitis. Over the past year we worked with Dr. Soucy(who we found to be very compassionate and thorough) to try to remedy the issue w drugs but to no avail. A full tooth extraction was recommended. We have been hesitant to do this due to the extreme and permanent nature of the procedure. And which may not even be effective. We are not rich but we have never once in our time with this clinic not paid a bill. We always paid what was owed on time. ALWAYS.The day before her surgery their office called to reschedule for the following week because they had forgotten to prescribe antibiotics& prednisolone prior to the surgery. So we do the week of prescription. As the days inch closer we are discussing more and while I am more on the side of the Dr. that this is the right way to go, my partner is more apprehensive and decides to call to cancel the day before so that we can further discuss/ get a second opinion. He speaks with a receptionist and cancels the appointment. The Dr. calls him to confirm the cancellation but at the end of the convo it somehow ends with " okay, see you tomorrow". So now it's back on? The morning of the appointment I realize that the food and water dishes had been out all night. ( We had both completely forgotten that food and water needed to be withheld the night before). We weren't the only ones who forgot about this detail as it was not mentioned the day before when my partner had spoken to the Dr. Nor was it mentioned in the reminder message sent out 24 hrs before. Also, it was freezing rain that morning, schools had been cancelled, and the roads were ice. Already on the fence + food & water + icy roads, I called and cancelled the appointment. I started to call at 7 but did not get an answer until 8. I realize that cancelling the day of a surgery is awful, I felt terrible doing it, in fact I still feel like an a**hole because I don't want to waste anyone's time. I get it, I own my part in this. The next day I go over to pick up some revolution for the cats and was hoping for an opportunity to speak with the vet, apologize for the late cancellation, and maybe get some reassurance that this procedure is in fact the best route to take for our cat and reschedule. The owner was working the desk. When I asked about rescheduling she immediately began telling me about how they had set aside 3 hrs for my cat and that it was a huge upset and inconvenience. I apologized and told her I understand, explaining that we had been on the fence about the procedure ( but before I could further explain that the cat had consumed food and water throughout the night she says " if you want to reschedule you'll have to make a down payment"). I replied " That's fine, I can do that". Then a third time she complains about the 3 hrs set aside, and I just thought, okay, enough. I said " You know, maybe we don't reschedule". Even after I had said I didn't want to reschedule she continued on saying " If you want to reschedule it will be $1000. down payment". At this point there were now 3 or 4 other patrons behind me waiting to be served. She looked me dead in the eyes and said " Do you have $1000. for a down payment, can you do that right now?". It was then that I realized that she thinks I don't have the money. She thinks that we cancelled because we couldn't pay our bill AND SHE IS TRYING TO POOR SHAME ME! Could I have put $1000. down on my MC right then?YES. Did I?NO!Not that it is any of hers or anyone else's business but my partner and I made an agreement that I would cover x-mas and he would cover the surgery. I told her I would be happy to pay a penalty fee for late cancellation *crickets* To be honest, I was expecting a late cancellation fee. She just kept repeating it would be $1000.dp. I've never been made to feel so small in my whole life. It is so insulting to be treated like this after years of loyalty. We are all just dollar signs to this owner.
Great service very good with the animals. The staff is awesome
I am extremely happy with how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is. I was so worried about my cat and Fairvale animal hospital acted with urgency and professionalism. My cat is back to being herself and is no longer showing any symptoms! I highly recommend this veterinarian.
Always helpful and caring!
Been at this vet for a long time now but it's gone down hill sadly. The price is absolutely ridiculous as I'm sure most vets are today. There is all new people working there now and they just don't seem to be on the same page or know anything regarding my pets and you can't even go in with your pet. You still have to wait in your vehicle until they come out to get them and bring them back. I get it with covid and all but one person should be able to go in with your mask.
Staff has always been very nice and understanding with me. I have pet rats and it was hard to find a vet initially who would take them. I feel they have gotten great care here and I was never made to feel uncomfortable about having an uncommon and sometimes disliked animal as a pet.
Great staff. Very caring
They know medicine!
I've been taking my dogs here for 18 years, the staff is great and knowledgeable and my dog loves seeing them.
This clinic should be boycotted. Do NOT send your pets to this clinic!! They have caused so much irreversible damage when it is their job to help. Seriously lacking in compassion and empathy for their clients. There is also a huge omission of morality, decency, medical competency, and vigilance - despite those being 4 substantial pillars of veterinary care. Disgusting excuse for a clinic.
Fantastic vet, very thorough and goes the extra mile to make sure your pet is healthy and happy. Very best!
This is my daughters veterinary takes good care of her dog.
This is Luna. She went to Fairvale to be spayed and left with a broken spine, paralyzed and incontinent. No one at Fairvale has has the DECENCY or RESPECT to admit or even apologize for what happened to Luna while in their care. The disregard they showed Luna's owner should be a warning to other pet owners to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Very good place nice people they know what they are doing they truly love ther job.
Very good place nice people they know what they are doing they truly love ther job.
Very compassionate staff. They take the time to discuss options and help You thoughly understand our furbaby issues.
Unfortunately I can't remember what the name of the doctor answered the phone was when i called but whoever it was is very unprofessional. I understand that they're busy but please don't chuckle at the fact that I'm incredibly worried that my cat got into something that could potentially be life threatening. I've been sitting in my living room, tearing up because I'm worried that something may be wrong.
My animals have been treated at this Clinic since 2007. Dr Adams has always gone above and beyond for my animals. I am very grateful that she is our veterinarian❤️
My dog of 10 years recently passed away, and although this was not his regular vet this was the location on duty during the middle of the night when I called the emergency line. The vet who met me there that night, and I'm sorry that I forget her name, was extremely empathetic and helpful with me that night. The following week I received an empathetic card in the mail from them, again even though they were not my regular vet. I was very impressed with the service I received, thank you.
Good service and good vets.
Excellent
Pretty much done spending my hard earned money at this place. Have spent thousands of dollars here on a diabetic cat only to be told we are neglectful owners because we didn't get our cat in for his sugars tested. Extremely disrespectful. Also showed up 5 minutes late due to struggling to get cats in the carriers and they try to say we can't get their shots and we missed our appointment. Their answer to everything is buy their overpriced food that our cat won't eat. Cats are obligate carnivores they don't eat corn, potatoes, or peas. The hard food they prescribed ended up making his blood sugar worse. The result of their blood sugar testing was different every single time due to stressing the cat. We have had several overnight visits and when picking up the cats for instructions the vet is gone for the day every time and you end up with some vet tech who has no idea how to answer any of your questions. We have also used their boarding services where the cats are stuffed in small cages close to barking dogs. The cats slept in their litter boxes the entire time and when we picked them up their fur was fully matted with litter and cat pee, yet I'm the neglectful owner. Save your hard earned money and find a different vet.
Excellent place to bring your fur babies
I recently moved here from BC! WOW fantastic vet and fantastic team! They make you feel like family. Friendly and VERY thorough with your fur babies❤️ Thank you for such kind amazing service!
I had to change veterinarians due to location, and I am so pleased with the team at Fairvale Animal Hospital, the Doctors and the staff have been so helpful, I received a few follow up calls and the amount of support was outstanding!
Looking after new pup
Always a professional and compassionate experience. We have been going Fairvale Animal Hospital for 13 years. Always a good experience considering why we are there. They always look after our dogs and know what they are doing. This is a busy clinic, but they are still professional no matter how stressful their day may be.
This is a horrible veterinary practice that refused to take responsibility for their actions of malpractice and lack of compassion towards a poor family and their little bunny. Absolutely appalling, and now that poor life was lost due to all of the complications that the veterinarian and their staff caused. I hope you feel ashamed of yourselves and will remember the life you traumatically hurt and inevitably took away by your horrid ways of caring for animals. You know EXACTLY of this patient and you truly should be ashamed of yourselves! Despicable!
Thank you so much, I appreciate your excellent care and service, you were there for us when no one else was. M
Great with our dogs!!
Service was great especially considering restrictions due to COVID-19
Very compassionate and caring Animal hospital and the staff are incredibly awesome. The reason Mia Chealy aka Mia Vanwart/ Kristine Vanwart is posting a negative review is she is fostering 3 cats for the Redhead Strays helping Stray cats Strut and has been asked to return the cats and is refusing. The vets and staff have been caught in the middle of this crazy situation. We just want the cats returned.
