The only reason It’s a 1⭐️ is because I can’t give less. I have NEVER felt less than welcome in a place before let alone a vet you’re taking a loved one to for health reasons. The first visit I was happy to find a place so close to where I moved and on the phone seemed quite nice. When I arrived and went in to pay, I certainly didn’t feel welcome and the girls working treated me like I wasn’t even there other than taking payment. Their demeanour was not friendly at all. I had my pet there a few times within about a month as he needed surgery and this behaviour was a trend and not a one time thing. They almost speak down to you, their tone and mannerisms are impolite and they make you feel like an inconvenience. The worst time was when I had my furry baby there and he had surgery and was again treated with less than any kind of caring, respect, interested in my being there and felt unwelcome to the extreme. I was on time for my appointment, followed their protocol with arrival and sat in the car for over an hour with my pet in the heat. I watched everyone in the parking lot have assistance and people come and go until I was the only person sitting there for quite some time (like I said, over an hour). Until I was starting to drive away, did somebody come out and acted like they were offended by my leaving. I asked if I was forgotten about and I got a stare from her and a ‘“yeah, sure, I’m here now. Who are you and why are you here?” Let’s see, I have an appointment and I called you and said I was there....what do you mean and why are you angry at me??? I understand Covid has caused issues, but maybe communication with the clients should happen and maybe a tad bit of common courtesy towards people. The other thing is that Covid has nothing to do with the treatment I received and by no means gives anyone the right to treat you or your pet with less value. If this is how I was treated, how was my pet treated??? I would tell anyone to find another vet and if you do go there, don’t give them more than one chance to treat you worth their time. When they can treat the person who understands and can communicate back to them with such ignorance, think about your pet and how poorly they could be being treated in there with them.

We had an elderly dog with health issues, and Elmsdale Animal Hospital did everything they possibly could to help him. They were extremely supportive when we had to finally put him out of his misery. They loved Roe. They are now looking after our puppy, Bastion, with the same degree of affection. I absolutely adore this hospital!!! They are fantastic!!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Only down side is one staff member that was extremely rude when I asked her to not pick up my service dog in training. Maybe they need more training when dealing with service dogs but other than that, an overall good couple experiences and the vet herself was wonderful.

The people who work here deserve as much love and compassion as I and my animals have received every time we have needed them over the past few years. I don't have the vocabulary to describe how fantastic they all are and have been not only with keeping my boys going, but after our loss as well. I highly recommend elmsdale animal hospital they are always great. I have two rescue dogs both came from very bad places. One has very bad anxiety and. dr Amanda stephenson is barely able to touch her. I really feel bad because she screams like she is hurting or killing her but dr amanda stephenson is so good with her there are no words to describe how great she is. Now with my other rescue she is just afraid of everyone and it amazed me how she warm up to. dr. Vanassa churchill and dr juanita ashton both of these lady deserves a big hi five. Now i think we have had every doctor in there cause they probably draw straws to see who is going to get stuck with my dogs that day... Ha ha i am joking.. It is because they have no problem accommodating us when i call in for an appointment that i need for the very same day and they put me in with whatever doctor is available. My husband and i are long haul truck driver and our dogs come with us we actually rescue them out of Tennessee. So this is why most times i can only give them a few hours notice we never know when we are going to be home. So if you need a veterinary you need to call and make an appointment with these great lady's you will not be disappointed. Roseann Misener
