These guys are SO amazing and kind. We took our youngest cat to them via an animal rescue organisation, even though we live over two hours away via public transportation, but will be using our local vet from now on ONLY because of the distance and because our older cat is currently a patient.

Had a clay plaque made with the paw print on it. It was supposed to be shipped to my house, waited three months and nothing came. We called the vet and they had it there the whole time...and just want to throw it in, that the place is filthy.(the walls are all stained, dirt buildup in the corners)

Bad experience when I got my dog spayed here years ago, after completing a thorough pre-op exam that cost quite a bit I was told that during surgery they had encountered an unexpected umbilical hernia (THIS CALL WAS MADE TO ME HOURS BEFORE I WAS TO PICK HER UP AND BRING HER HOME DESPITE HER HAVING BEEN THERE SINCE 6AM) they told me they could repair it for an extra fee or just leave it lol..obviously I want it repaired. I didn't believe them and strongly believed that they were taking advantage of me being a first time dog owner. Go with your gut when it comes to places like this..

Worst vet experience ever, no one should ever visit this place - the Dr clearly only cares about money and is neither knowledgable nor cares about the wellbeing of your pet. Dropped a lot of money, and the diagnosis and treatment by this vet made my cat worse. I took my sick cat in, and spent 1.5 hours there, mostly waiting. The vet would pop in and out, and was actually in the room for a total of 10 min. He clearly overbooked his time and was running back and forth between different patients. He barely spent any time diagnosing the issue, and jumped straight to a huge list of treatment and tests. The charges were ridiculous - $200 just for "hospitalization" and "daily doctor care" to just leave my cat there for a few hours getting IV and medication injection, and $60 for the use of IV needles, and that's on top of the cost of actual treatment and medications. Not only that, my cat became significantly more ill the next day, and I had to take him in to a different vet who thankfully cared and knew what they were doing, to discover this awful place was not even close to the right diagnosis or treatment, and what was done to my cat made him worse. I'm just thankful I found a competent vet after this god awful experience wasting time and money and going through the emotional stress.

This is the worst clinic ever!!! We took our dog there to be neutered & it was the worst post surgery experience I have ever had and Dr. Singla is the most unprofessional person we have ever met! We had serious issues & all he could do is hang up on us!!! Pathetic & ignorant!!! I honestly don’t know how he is in practice...I advise anyone who cares for the pet to AVOID Eglinton Animal hospital & Dundas East as he works out of both locations!!!

I've been using Dr. Pandher for years and my most recent visit was with Dr. Singla in his absence. They both really know their stuff. After getting my dog treated for serious conditions like mange and corneal ulcers, they don't miss a beat. I know this because I run home and Google the issue afterwards!! It always confirms I'm in good hands. Shout out to Erin to vet assistant as well .Very friendly and professional staff .

This was my first time there. Due to covid a wonderful young lady with awesome blue hair greeted us and took my puppy in for his exam. Dr azhar called me and explained the treatment and follow up treatments.. I'm very happy.

Just writing this review to warn any first time pet owners of this place. Do your research before you bring your animals here! I have to say that the front desk staff is super nice and actually that's what drew me to this clinic, but the vet doctor is terrible and you definitely dont get the care and customer service you pay for. The clinic examination room also smells and feels dirty. The vet doesnt bother to spend time explaining what he's doing or checking anything extra to ensure you feel safe leaving your pet in their care. I paid 55$ x2 and 75$ x2 for pre surgery consult and bloodwork for 2 kittens and the vet actually spent about 15 mins altogether for both animals. Didn't even bother explaining his approach for laser neutering surgery to me until I kept asking. The handout he provided me is totally non specific, and similar to anything I'd be able to google. He actually told me I could do that. This clinic is more expensive than others, but I paid it thinking that my 2 cats were being handled extra carefully and getting laser surgery which would make them a bit more comfortable. Also, the vet was so behind and I had waited at least half hour before he was able to see me. When he couldnt take blood from one of my cats, he told me he needed to put my cat to sleep so he could do it. I was not allowed to be present during his attempts either. He charged me $45 extra for the anesthetic to put my little guy to sleep. He asked me to leave him there for about 2 hrs so he could get to it and said he was taking the blood from the leg. I got my cat back, and the vet had shaved my cats neck without telling me and just took it from the neck! Theres no way I'm letting my cats get surgery here!

Was not planning on making a review until I saw the others and also wanted to warn people. My dog got neutered here through a rescue (I had no choice in the vet clinic). My boyfriend picked him and when he got home I asked where his medication was? He told them they didn’t give him any. I called them the next day and asked and they literally LAUGHED at me and said they don’t give dogs pain meds for a simple procedure. I told them my dog was very clearly in pain and uncomfortable. They continued to laugh at me and said he’s probably just being a suck and not to baby him.... I went to my vet and they instantly prescribed him pain medication and said they would never send a dog home without it. Very rude and terrible service. Would never recommend to anyone.

We went to this clinic 4 years ago when we moved in this neighbourhood and we didn’t know too much places. My cat was 4 years old and we needed only annual visit which we paid 380$ for three unnecessary shots and visit. I found the doctor is not friendly and not interested in animals. I said unnecessary shots because every year we are going to the other vet and they just give one shot with visit we pay 120$ total. Sorry but I don’t recommend this place at all.

The vet we saw was not very thorough with our checkup nor with his answers to our questions. He didn't take his time with our dog and declined to trim our dog's nails even though they were in need of trimming. He told us he would do it at our next appointment which honestly there won't be one because we will never go back. He also prescribed deworming pills even though our dog doesn't have worms. Can someone tell me why? In my honest opinion, this vet only cares about making business and doesn't actually care for our pet's health.

Called to enquire about euthanasia and was told the vet could come to my house so my other dog could be present. When went to book the date had a different information saying they never do the procedure in people's home. Vet and secretary were discussing the subject and looked like they had no clue what they were talking about. Very bad costumer service. I had already quoted the price a while ago for the procedure in the clinic and all of the sudden they now added a $50 saying that they would have to do an examination prior to the procedure if I decided to do...???? What? ??? My dog is over 17 and he doesn't need an examination to tell us that he is dying. ..these people are very money oriented and not people and animal caring. Choose a better place to take your pet.

It was my first visit to Eglinton Animal Hospital today. I was referred to them by a neighbour with two dogs and I wasn't disappointed. Both Erin and Siba, the vet. techs at this location were extremely helpful and they answered all of my questions before I arrived for my appointment. Dr. Pandher was also professional and he was the first vet. that was able to successfully trim my large and skittish dog's nails. Their prices were also reasonable and their hours of operation are fantastic (they're open until 8:00pm on both Saturdays and Sundays!). This is the vet that our breeder used (who we have since discovered runs a puppy mill). Our dog was born with chronic kidney disease. He also had parasites as well. We went through many rounds of treatment, testing, and x-rays, etc. We had to put our puppy down before he even turned one. We used another veterinary hospital recommended through our vet, who we trusted, and did extensive testing. The tests confirmed this was a hereditary condition.

Very compassionate receptionist and vet, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond by helping me with getting my pets file transfered from Askey Animal hospital which have been giving me so many problems. Eglinton Animal Hospital was there for us and our pet and do their best. They let us know key information about a tooth extraction procedure that the other animal hospital never mentioned, such as, my cat is a high risk for the procedure because of his age and he needs his vaccines for safety reasons. They're also cheaper and just so compassionate, this review doesn't do it justice.

This place was recommended by the breeder I got my pup from, but the doctors didn’t really seem to care about my puppy. For every appointment I was in and out within 5 minutes. Doctors dismissed any and all concerns I had. The receptionist is lovely though!
