Dr. Ramzy and his staff are exceptionally caring and professional. I took my cat in for post care blood work assessment after a trip to an ER when he was possibly exposed to lily flower based on a referral from a couple of pet owner friends. I was really glad I went to him. I appreciate his expertise, experience and his thoughts given to us out of the best interest for the well-being of my cat and the prospective of pet owner's finances. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a reliable vet to contact Dr. Ramzy's office and your pet will be happy to be in his care.

This is by far the WORST veterinary clinic in Toronto and it's not even close. Dr. Ramzy is beyond incompetent and appears to be a few sandwiches short of a picnic. It is impossible to understand him and he obviously has no clue when it comes to treating his patients. He will also "suggest" unnecessary treatments for your pet simply to run up the bill. The one time I took my dog there, he claimed that the consultation fee would only be $60, yet I left with a bill for over $500 without anything being done to actually treat my dog's condition. This guy is a total scammer and should be avoided at all costs.

Beware of their scam. I have a dog with a mild sprain. The vet said it would take 2000 for surgery. He took 2 x-ray and barely saw anything but he said it might be a broken leg. Charged me 300 for the x rays. Went to another vet and, they said he just need to be caged and gave my dog some medicine. A week later dog was feeling better,running around. The vet called me and said it can lower the surgery to $1500. Are you serious, then tried to negotiate with me asking how much I am will to spend on the surgery when it's not needed. OMG. Never trust this place

My cat is going through the slow process of dying. It is an incredibly painful time but Dr. Ramzy and his staff have been patient and helpful and informative. I've called the clinic with dozens of questions and dropped in twice to speak to the vet personally and have been met with compassion, caring and solid information. Dr. Ramzy is a good guy and I'm thankful he's been here in one of my most painful experiences.

My wife and I came in to the Church Yonge Animal Clinic this afternoon as our beloved senior kitty was very sick and ultimately had to be put down (which we had already figured). Dr. Ramzy was incredibly understanding, patient and empathetic to what we were going through. After dealing with other vet clinics it was wonderful to deal with someone who wasn't going to prescribe a battery of unnecessary tests when the diagnosis was very apparent. Dr. Ramzy gave us lots of time to comfort our cat and to be as involved in our cat's last moments as we were comfortable with. Overall a very comforting experience during a very emotional situation. We will definitely return for regular visits with our other pets.

Best animal clinic ever! I went there for an emergency situation for my cat just seconds before the closing time, I called before I came in just in case the clinic closed early, assistant was very patient and said they will hold for my cat. I don't wanna write a super long and boring review here but they did everything they should do and beyond. The doc and assistant did not eat and it took from 7pm to 10:30 pm for them to save my cat, the whole process was professional and caring. They explained the possible solutions and the cost and then I went with the choice that's best for my cat. I was exhausted and emotional waiting for the procedure, but they were so kind and drove me home after everything's done. The cost is high but it saved my cat. It's a good lesson to learn in life to take care of someone that you love. In my opinion it's worth it (and probably wasn't overcharged) :)

My dog loves the staff at this clinic. They're very kind and you can tell tell they truly love animals. They're always accommodating and their later/weekend hours are very convenient. They also do boarding which is great and has given me a sense of comfort to know my fur baby is in good, qualified hands while I'm away.

Dr. Ramzy was kind and compassionate toward our cats. We've been bringing them here for almost 10 years. We recently brought our sick cat to Dr. Ramzy and he was able to check her right away and do various tests to figure out what's wrong. In the end he couldn't diagnose what's wrong with our cat and recommended us to go to an emergency hospital. We were told that the best option was to put our cat down and we decided to go back to Dr. Ramzy's clinic to do it. He gave us some private time with our cat before he came back to explain the steps involved and let us know that we dont have to be there until the end if we didn't feel comfortable. We appreciated his kindness and gentleness toward our cat even until the last moment.

Dr Ramzy and Ana and all the staff took great care of my kitty...she's a mature spay but the price was reasonable and surgery was perfect..I got to take her home 3 hours later and even though she doesn't like her "cone"...it's soft and humane and it makes her look like Royalty!!????‍⬛????...I've come here with my last cat too and Dr Ramzy is still the only one I trust with my pets! Excellent Job!

Went in for a first time checkup with my cat. Appointment was booked on the day of, and the registration was quick and easy. The vet is very friendly and informative, and he really took the time with the examination and answered all the questions patiently. It was a very smooth checkup. Will definitely come back again in the future for all checkup's.

Brought my cat here today at 1230 because he was very sick and I knew he was about to go and he told me there was nothing they could do. The Dr wouldn't put him down just told me to go home, if he does at home bring him back tomorrow or if he makes it bring him back tomorrow and he will put him down. At 3pm today we lost him. He shouldn't have had to go through that pain. I would never go here again!

Dr Ramzy is amazing. My GSD had a large growth and dr Ramzy was very thoughtful, flexible and caring during the whole process. My dog was not able to walk and he came out in the freezing cold to talk to me so she stayed comfortable. He never tried to upsell me anything and gave his recommendations based on my family's personal situation. Dr Ramzy is the real deal and staff was very considerate. Brought my dog in to have her nails trimmed today. They took her in and after 20 minutes they called to say they're unable to cut her nails because they don't have any groomers and she appeared to have been "uncomfortable" and wasn't cooperating with the technician. I can only imagine how traumatizing it was for my dog to be in the hands of someone so incompetent. I've never been to this clinic before and will never go back.

Absolutely agree with Joachim’s review below. Every time we come there to solve one issue we end up paying $300-$400 for random tests which they don’t even provide the results for until you ask. Always trying to upsell without actually helping. Today we lost money again without getting any service. Plus they added $300 to our bill “by mistake”. Good thing we checked what we are charged for. Scam. Would not recommend!

The reception desk has a very good attitude. But the vet doesn't care about the pet and won't go back. Not recommend for vaccine here. I chose this clinic to vaccinate my kitten because of the lower price. But the vet urged us to go back and get another dose every three weeks. As a result, my kitten got the second dose at 11 weeks old, the third dose and rabies at 14 weeks. Then, kitten have to undergo a fourth dose after 16 weeks to ensure complete protection. This extra dose could have been avoided, but a miscalculation by the veterinarian (perhaps on purpose to earn an extra examination fee) had resulted in my kitten being put at risk for the fourth dose. Also，I consulted with other veterinarians and learned that the rabies taken before 16 weeks ago was totally unacceptable. Now I am particularly worried because of the overinjection of vaccines by my kitten.

Went here for my first vet visit and loved my experience! As a first time dog owner, I had many questions and they were patient and kind to let me know what types of vaccinations were priority or worth while doing. I was interested in things like allergy tests etc, but they they gave me really good advice on not to do it because she was young and should be considered when she's older, but optional. It made me feel like they were thinking if the best interest of my puppy and not trying to upsell or something. They took SUCH GOOD CARE of my puppy! So sweet and gentle with her! She came out so happy! (Even after getting her 2nd Vax and microchipped!) Thank you Church Yonge Animal Clinic! Our family appreciates all you help! Will definitely be back.

I only came to Dr. Ramzy at the end of my cat's life, as a 2nd opinion consult. My own clinic was slow to respond during her illness and hadn't been much help after she was diagnosed with several medical issues. The Vet there wanted me to give my cat to a shelter at 10 years old rather than put her down which was the more humane option. It was refreshing to have someone like Christine answer the phone, and consult with the doctor then and there or call me back within minutes. They were kind and understanding when I brought my cat in, and I'm grateful for that.

Prices are fair, but the staff including the main veterinarian are just OK. Nothing amazing but again, they are fair with prices compared to some of the other vets in the area.

I have 3 cats and Dr. Ramzy has treated all 3 on different occasions. One of my cats was attacked by a feral cat outdoors. He had scratches and Dr. Ramzy treated him for possible infection. Another one of my cats had her tooth broken, which Dr. Ramzy extracted via surgery. The cats also had an issue with fleas, also treated by this same doctor. I keep going back to him because he is very knowledgeable. He answers all my questions. His surgical skills are superb and he has always promptly solved my pet problems for me. I never had to wait very long at all when I went to him. When my cat's tooth was broken, I called the clinic and they said they are closing in ten minutes, but will wait for me given the urgency of the situation. I rushed over, but it took me 1/2 hour. Dr. Ramzy waited and did not rush at all with my cat. He was still patient and thorough, even though I had arrived after closing time. In terms of money, he has never overcharged me and I found his prices very reasonable. Quality vet care does of course cost money, so it is to be expected that if something substantial is required (like surgery), then it will not be cheap. Nevertheless, this clinic keeps costs very reasonable. In the past I had had different vets grossly overcharge me so I am very careful now. Most importantly, I know how much he loves my little animals because I saw how he handled them. I highly recommend him to all animal owners. Very knowledgeable and caring doctor. I don't know Dr. Ramzy on a personal level. I just wanted to post this review because I have had pets for over 10 years and I know how hard it is to find a good vet. I just wanted others to be aware that this clinic is an excellent one.

In August (2020.08) I took my 8 weeks old puppy to this clinic for emergency check up - she had vomited worms repeatedly and her vet office couldn't slot her in so I went here. After checking my puppy, the vet here didn't say much about her condition but was cross-selling pretty hard about some other parasite medication that cost $65. I agreed to buy it. He then suggested a fecal exam which I also agreed to but never called me back to tell me the results. In my opinion, this is a terrible money focus practice with little ethics. I gave two stars because the staff was sympathetic about my concerns when I called the next day - worming meds made my puppy really fatigued, but the vet just brushed it off and refuse to talk to me. Luckily she turned out fine but I wouldn't recommend this place to any pet parents. Update (2020.10): changed to 1 star. I got a call from this office today asking if I wanted to book a second booster for my puppy. She already had 3 boosters according to schedule at her vet. Still, no mention of her stool exam that I paid for.

Went here for the first time for a Rabbit neuter and the vet was very nice and really informative about everything we wanted to know (took a while to get through everything, but answered everything clearly). The registration was easy and fast. The neuter seems great too as our Holland Lop Bunny who is 5 months old looks great as always. Highly recommended! Was very cheap too!
