I have been coming to this vet for 15 years and have had mostly good experiences. The front staff are AMAZING and deserve all the credit. However, my opinion has now changed dramatically after a fairly traumatizing experience with a vet I have never seen before. We brought our 3 month old puppy here for her FIRST vet experience and she was obviously terrified and shaking and when she growled at the vet who was examining her she was HIT several times across the nose and face. My Husband was so stunned he didn't know what to do and just froze. After hitting our puppy two or three times, this obviously made her more upset and more fearful and when she growled again she was smacked again a couple of more times and then my husband was scolded that we don't socialize our puppy well enough! Our puppy is very well socialized with people, kids of all ages, other dogs and cats and has never acted out. Maybe my puppy just doesn't like people who beat her when she's scared? I'm HORRIFIED. ***This situation has since been resolved and I am satisfied with the outcome. Thank you to the office manager for reaching out and listening to us and our concerns. I will continue to bring Xena here as long as it is with another vet. Thanks again :)

Today I took my German Shepherd there for the first time. Dr. A and the staff were excellent. Dr. A was professional, informative and was not pushy at all with services or trying to sell products. I found him to be caring and very personable. He was gentle with my dog and im glad to have him as our vet. Excellent over all service.

I have experienced multiple misdiagnosis's for my animals over the years, some being quite significant health issues that were left untreated, and undiagnosed after being taken to them multiple times for the same issues. I have received conflicting information from different vets within their establishment over the same animal, when requesting explanations they avoid taking any responsibility for their actions. I truly feel like the end goal is to get money from their customers. I do not recommend them if you are able to find a vet elsewhere.

Great staff, took care of my spirit of hope rescue, they only let you go to certain vets and i wasnt going to be going to plessis. Although i got charged extra to have a hydration drip going during spay. Not sure if thats common but when it comes to keeping your patient hydrated that should kind of be part of the package. Everything went smooth and she healed up nicely even though shes a maniac.

Can’t say enough great things about all the staff at Beausejour Animal Hospital. We are a family of many doggies (Winchester, Piqati and the late Yeti). Our pups actually get excited when we say “vet”. They love their friends in Beausejour! Thank you to everyone for the wonderful care and especially for the compassion during Yeti’s final days last year. We miss him very much.

They have done a great job with my new girl Delta we rescued her about 7 weeks ago with bad skin problems that never got treated and they have quickly helped get her back to shape with the proper treatments cost is fair and service has been great. Delta doesn't mind going either !

I called because I couldn’t get my dog into my truck. I said I would be late. They called me back and were willing to come to my house to help me. They are so compassionate. After seeing them the night before, my girl went so down hill, I called at 8 am the next morning saying she needed to be put down. They got me in right away. They were so kind. Today I went to pick up her ashes. As I was standing outside they saw who I was. I didn’t have to say anything. They brought her ashes to me. Thank you so much.

Was happy until now. My dog started peeing herself. She was treated with medication. We paid $174 for the exam. We were told to bring in a sample of her pee 2 weeks later. We were told the second pee exam was covered by the first charge. Now there wanting a $55 payment for the second exam of pee. They did say there was no sign of infection in it. Now today she just started peeing on the floor again. What luck. So now I’m taking her to another vet and paying for another exam. They obviously didn’t check the second pee sample and are going to bug me for $55 If she still has the infection. This will be all over social media ????

Excellent place to take your critters. My dog was having issues with his back legs i called on saturday morning they said to bring him in right away. They ran tests and did X-rays to see what the problem was. They found it was 2 slipped disks in his back causing discomfort. They were great with my dog and made him comfortable as he was already a bit scared being there they treated my critter as if it was their own. Awesome job excellent friendly staff and the vet was terrific showed me the X-rays and explained everything to me

Our dog was sick on the Thanks Giving weekend. We couldn't find any emergency clinics that weekend. Thankfully Beausejour Clinic had an emergency vet on call. Dr.Atkinson was a knowledgeable, kind and compassionate Doctor. He took all time needed to treat our dog. The clinic has a full lab, ultra sound and x-ray equipment available for emergency use. Dr. Atkinson called several days later to make sure she was recovering. Even though I am not from the area, it would be worth the 150 km drive to get the kind of care we received there.

This has been one of the best vets that I have been to! This is actually my parents vet for their fur babies, but I think I will be taking our fur babies there too! All the staff is so caring and understanding! They do their very best to help accommodate their clients. Human and 4 legged ones. They take their time to explain everything to you and make sure that your furry loved one receives the best care possible. I haven't seen old school vet care like that in such a long time! Please don't change anything and keep up the great work!! THANK YOU!!!!
