We offer you the information of people who know the services and products of Bayview Wellington Veterinary Clinic (Veterinarian) in Churchill (Canada).
At present this business has a score of 4.4 over 5 and that rating is based on 54 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is very high, and it is founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may be quite sure that the rating is quite reliable. If people have bothered to rate when they are pleased, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Veterinarian belongs to the category of Veterinarian.
I love this clinic. They are very attentive to my cats needs. They thoroughly explain everything they will be doing/testing before hand and make sure I understand the procedures. Thanks for caring for kallie
Dr Bev Wong is knowledgeable and compassionate. The clinic staff are friendly.
Professional, informed, and caring. We initially chose Bayview because our dog got along well with Dr Morris 8years ago. She is very knowledgeable and takes it upon herself to keep up to date on best practices and procedures to properly care for animals.
Thought this was a good vet through previous experience however had not been in a couple years. Today they lacked common sense or empathy and refused to sell me ONE bag of food for a new puppy, even though I was in their system for my very recently departed cat. The puppy is new to the house and I was rushing only trying to get some food before setting him up for an appointment as I needed to bring in his files from his previous owner. ONE bag of food has lost you a new patient, next shots, a neuter, a microchip, and many more visits. There are other vets.
This vet gouges you with unnecessary and over-priced precedures. She convinced my husband my cat needs dental cleaning (which different vets said different things about) and possibly extracting one tooth. $560 base + extracting teeth $800 was what I was expecting. My husband really wanted to do it out of guilty not brushing his teeth after having our baby. When I called why it costs so much? The assistant took the lab work out and made it $1300+tax since all procedures are done. And she said my husband was ok with $1600 initially, which he was not. When he called them, they were still working on the cat and said they can skip polishing his teeth and take out other costs. The price magically came down to $1050+tax. Who said ok with lab work and freaking teeth polishing? She always suggests stool sample taken but it always came back negative. There was small but some chance that my cat could have died over this dental procedure and I honestly don't know who would want their pet ended up dead on the dental cleaning table and willing to pay over a thousand. If it was a human child, would anyone be ok by risking life over minor tooth pain? It's not surprising to see one star ratings on the review and I Do Not Recommend her! We got all the file for our cat after this surgery and are switching vet. I do not want the vet commenting my review. It is how we felt and we don't want to hear excuses and explanation.
Dr Bev Wong has been our dogs and cat's vet for many years since she was at a previous clinic. She's always got the pet's best interest and presents options. Most importantly, she is super kind and caring. We love her! Clinic staff are also very friendly and helpful.
We brought our cat Finnick to see Dr. Morris after we noticed that she had very bad breath, and was drooling. We thought she would just need a cleaning and perhaps a few teeth removed. We were so shocked to learn that she had something that a cleaning would not resolve, and she would continue to be in pain. Dr. Morris recommended that we have all of her teeth extracted! At first, I was completely in shock, and would never have thought that to be an option. Dr. Morris sent along some info, and after doing some research we learned that cats who have undergone the procedure are much happier, healthier and play more. It's been 3 weeks since Finnick had her procedure, and this is exactly what we see! She's her old (young) self again! She runs around like crazy, she plays with all of her toys, and she can still eat her regular kibble food. We are so happy we made this decision, and are forever grateful to Dr. Morris for taking such good care of our baby girl.
Dr. Morris and her team have always been great with our dog Harvey. He looks forward to going each time. Why wouldn't he?, they saved his life two years ago. Thanks so much BWV.....
Truly caring and compassionate doctor. Extremely knowledgeable and provides several solutions/alternatives. I have been the pet owner for 20+ years and and vet like that is really hard to find.
Best vet I have ever been to. When faced with a job opportunity which would require a move, I was hesitant because it would mean having to take my cat to another vet. Fortunately I stayed and now I can continue taking Buster to Dr. Morris =]
This is my honest review, not trying to create stories... Update: Morris's mistake cost our Bentley's life... 3 things were mist: 1. Loosing weight (24 pounds when she examined him). And Morris told that is not judging by pounds.... Dog ( German Pinscher at 1.5 years) has to be at least 30 pounds. 2. Morris didnt check gums, as they were already pale. On our conversation, she told that she check... Please lets be honest... You didnt! ( and lets say if you check, then why you didnt do full blood test????) 3. Morris listen to Bentley's heart, heard murmur, and told: I wouldnt be worried. Please animal lovers, make sure, Morris does the right job, before you loose your loved pet. My first review: For almost 1 year we were satisfied with service we received. But... We took our dog, probably a week or so ago, and told that he is loosing weight. We are first time owners, and dont know, what procedures should be taken to detect problem with dog. So she did quick exam, said weight is normal 24 pounds, ( we found out that this is lowest what can be) , also suggested to do blood test just for heart worms. Next day, received answer, everything is good. So $200 just flew away... So we decided to bring our dog to different veterinary, they suggested right away to do full blood exam. Next day, they found that he has liver infection. Now he is on special treatment at clinic. Hoping he will feel better. If we didnt bring to another clinic, probably we would lost our dog...
A lifetime of dogs and vets and I am thrilled to have found Dr. Regan Morris at Bayview Wellington Vet Clinic. Exceptional personalized care of both of my dogs, from regular care to surgeries and rehab. Dr. Morris is forward thinking in terms of vaccine protocols and titre testing and willing to work with my natural care sensibilities. She genuinely cares about the whole dog, mind, body and soul and prioritizes quality of life, when determining care and treatment options.. and has excellent relationships with the best specialists in the area. a rare find in the veterinary industry! Dr. Morris and her staff run a high quality, organized and friendly small clinic.. 5 stars! Meg Harris, Real Dogs Real People
Great Veterinary with friendly and knowledgeable staff, such pleasant experience.
We were so happy to have switched to Dr. Morris' care. Right from the moment we called for our first appointment the customer care began, and what a difference, superior customer service. Everyone is always so friendly and very knowledgeable, always willing to answer any questions. I find Dr. Morris to be an awesome vet and I feel so much better and relaxed now, knowing my Kimora has quality care at its best. BTW, I selected Dr. Morris because of the positive reviews and know I am happy to provide one as well.
Best vet clinic in Newmarket or Aurora. We have two dogs and two cats. We were tired of the sales pitches we would receive from our old vet for food, drugs, treats, you name it. Dr. Morris is always very conscious of our costs. She explains everything in detail and provides options. Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating.
This is an excellent clinic in every regard. The staff are knowledgeable and caring especially Dr. Morris and the facility well designed and immaculately maintained. The approach is proactive so tests and products will be recommended prior to any problems. Strongly recommend asking for an overall estimate of any treatment procedures and products before proceeding as bill can rapidly escalate. Then if necessary, items recommended can be staggered over several months, especially if no pet insurance.
Dr. Morris and her staff are utterly outstanding in every way. We are so grateful to have found her for so many reasons. Dr. Morris is kind, patient, thorough and very knowledgeable and has always been willing to work with our alternative minded approach to care for our dog. She has sent us lab work results, titer results so that we can share them with our homepathic vet and she has always respected our views and choices. To find a vet who is so willing to work together with us and be part of the health care team for our dog is an enormous breath of fresh air. She has always supported our desire for titer testing and has been genuinely happy for us when the results show that our dog still needs no further vaccinations since his last set at 12 weeks of age (he is now 3). She has called us to check on our dog when has had occasional acute issues and her genuine concern is very heartwarming. I would recommend Dr. Morris to anyone looking for *extraordinary* veterinary care for their pets.
For a few months our cat didn't seem like herself. After losing a tooth and being examined by Dr. Morris it was revealed that she would require extensive dental work. Within one month of the surgery our cat has returned to her more playful self. Dr. Morris and her staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process.
We recently had a very heart breaking situation with our little guy Pipsqueak that led us to these wonderful loving fur baby friends in Aurora. Our Pip broke his jaw. If it was not for the kindness, the support and the love we would not have our little guy today. Dr. Morris and her team have been beyond amazing with us, and with caring for our Pipsqueak just like he was their own puppy. Words can never express our gratitude for everything they have done. Pip is alive today because of their support and love for our fur baby. Dr. Morris...we thank you. You have a heart of gold. Thank you for saving our little guy Pip. He's back with his family and playing with his brother because of you and your team ❤️
Staff are lovely. Vets are most thorough, patient and encouraging. Tough to make a switch to a new clinic during Covid restrictions, but they are most accommodating and helpful. So far so good.
Dr. Morris and her staff are great. They really know my dog, looking after her in a way that shows their care and concern . I never feel rushed, Dr. Morris takes her time to explain everything she does and all the options for my pet's examinations, treatments and routine care. Ally my dog has been a happy patient there for over 4 years. Thanks Dr. Morris!
Dr. Morris and her staff are very knowledgeable and professional. They are very caring and helpful! We have had great service with every situation with our pets. We would totally recommend this clinic! We know that our pets are in good hands here!
Rude staff, unprofessional, money hungry. Vet tech that worked today, August 14, 2017 @ 12 pm was very condescending to a worried pet owner. Extremely disappointed and unimpressed that someone like that would choose this profession. Was told my dog got a head to toe exam by the technicians when the vet told me there wasn't one, she lied to appease my mother and justify the price without confirming with the vet first because my dog was only in there for 15 minutes. I am very appreciative the vet took the time to call me and explain to me very thoroughly what exactly I was charged for 8 hours later ...only after I called to inquire why I was charged this price. This is the second time one of your vet techs were rude and EXTREMELY condescending to myself and my family. I do believe that the vets care a lot about animals but charging for ludicrous tests/procedures is unnecessary. Dr Patricia C (I'm sorry I don't know how to spell your last name) I genuinely think you are kind and a great vet my dog is very comfortable, so thank you very much!
Over the years, our family have had many dogs as members of our family and we have worked with many veterinarians for their care. By far, Dr. Morris and her caring team of professionals have provided the most thorough and thoughtful advice and the best care our pets have ever received.
I have been taking my dog Oscar to see Dr. Morris at Bayview Wellington Vet Clinic since he was a puppy (he's now 5) and there is simply no one better. Dr. Morris and the entire team at Bayview Wellington are incredibly knowledgeable, thorough with their examinations, and care deeply about animals. Oscar loves going to the vet (and not just because Dr. Morris gives the best treats). She truly cares about Oscar and his well-being, and I couldn't ask for anything more.
We went to this clinic to purchase a cat food that we have been feeding our cat for the past three years. On this occasion, the clinic would not sell us the food unless we scheduled a check up for our cat. I can not believe a veterinary clinic would refuse food to an animal out of their own interest. Thankfully a clinic in Newmarket was more than happy to sell us the food and could not believe what happened. We will no longer go to this clinic and will now purchase the cat food and care for our cat with a vet that actually puts the interest of animals a head of their own financial interest.
Dr. Morris and her team are terrific. We are very happy with the care Hooch has received. Hooch was recently neurtered and we felt very comfortable as we were well informed by Dr. Morris about the procedure and after care. Dr. Morris spends the time to talk and explain things and is always avaialbe to answer questions.
Hands down the best vet you will find! I have been taking my 3 poodles to see Dr. Morris for the last 4 years and I have never had such amazing care for them. I drive a far distance just to be able to take them to see Dr. Morris and her team. They are extremely compassionate and kind. Dr. Morris is highly educated; sometimes I wonder how so much knowledge can fit into such a tiny person! My 3 dogs have had yearly exams from Dr. Morris, surgeries and dental care and I have never been happier with the care they have received. I would highly recommend the Bayview Wellington Vet clinic to anyone who is search for the best care for there pet!
For the last two years I’ve brought both my cats to the Bayview Wellington Vet Clinic and have to say the staff is AMAZING!! They deliver the most friendly, professional and knowledgeable service I've ever experienced with any other Vet Clinic. I have the utmost confidence in them knowing that my pets are getting the very very best care. So, a very big thank you to Dr. Regan Morris, Emily, Judy, Maria and Lindsay.
We have been taking our dog, Fynn, to see Dr. Morris since he was a puppy and have been consistently impressed. Her staff are all knowledgeable and friendly, the clinic is welcoming and clean and appointments are on time. Dr. Morris always takes the time to answer questions and present different treatment options, you never feel rushed. Dr. Morris always goes above and beyond. When just recently I felt a bump on Fynn’s chest she squeezed us in last minute to get it tested before I moved across the country. Dr. Morris’ commitment to Fynn’s health has extended beyond Ontario, consulting with us by phone and coordinating with specialists out here to ensure he continues to get the best care. Thank you Dr. Morris and everyone at Bayview Wellington Vet Clinic, we will miss you!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! OVER PRICED & DR. MORRIS IS AN INEXPERIENCED VET! I brought my dog to see Dr. Morris shortly after moving to Aurora, to check out a lump on my dog. It took Dr. Morris THREE times to get a viable biopsy. She poked my dog (who was already in discomfort) THREE times to get a proper sample. After the first 2 attempts she told me "My professor would not be satisfied with this sample as I did not get enough cells on it". She told me it might be cancer. I was charged for an in house test that was inconclusive, as well as the charge for the visit and to send the sample away to the lab. When I asked why I was charged so much, she told me that rent is expensive in Aurora, and their prices are reflective of that. After waiting a week to hear if my dog had cancer, I called for the results. I was told they were too busy to give me the results and they would call me later or tomorrow. I demanded a phone call back the same day. They are not empathetic to pet owners who are worried about their pet. Turns out it was positive for cancer. The lump had grown rapidly within a week & I took my dog back to my old vet over 2 hours away, because I trust them. My original vet told me that my dog's Mast cell tumour releases histamine, and poking it 3 times with a needle (like Dr. Morris did) is like kicking a beehive and exacerbates the tumour. He also told me that he could tell she was inexperienced by looking at her medical notes. My dog had 2 surgeries to remove the tumour, and chemo and very sadly passed away. I am in no way saying Dr. Morris is responsible for my dog's illness. I am simply stating that she is inexperienced, over priced and not empathetic. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Take your beloved pets to a vet that cares!
We have been taking our dog Griffin to the clinic since he was just a puppy. Dr. Morris and the whole team there take amazing care of him. They are always available to answer questions and go above and beyond for their patients. Highly recommend this clinic.
Dr. Morris and her team are excellent. We trust them 100% and drive from far for their professional, reliable services. I highly recommend the clinic to anyone looking for a caring, honest and professional vet who will care for your animals while providing exceptional service!
If you love your pets, you need to have Dr. Regan Morris as your veterinarian. Dr. Morris has such passion for the wellness of animals. Her attention to detail is by far an outstanding experience for both the animals as well as the owners. Our family has many animals who are in need of attention and Dr. Morris is always available for them. I put my utmost trust in her and the staff. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend taking your pets to Bayview Wellington Veterinary Clinic. I only wish I could put more than five stars in this rating... Kim Seabrook
Dr. Morris has been lovingly taken care of our cat and dog for the last 5 years. I cannot say enough good things about her team. They are kind, patient and compassionate. Dr. Morris is very knowledgeable and practices evidence-based medicine. She genuinely cares for our pets and continues to go above and beyond to ensure that they are living healthy and joyous lives.
When you come to this clinic, be prepared for a very aggressive marketing. They would try to sell you anything from pet mouthwash, to cardiac exams for your pet. My cat is only 3 years old and I never spend some much time listening to the offers to do all unnecessary tests, vaccinations and etc. But we only came to get a rabies vaccine.
