We adopted ‘sweet prince’ (now Kevin) from Heart and Soul Rescue and prepaid for his neuter here. Not knowing much about them we were impressed. Very professional vet assistant Raia, knew her job well and followed all Covid 19 protocols, and gentle mannered and highly knowledgeable Veterinarian Dr Mann did a very tidy and non traumatic neuter on my precious furr baby. He also sent some pain meds for him for post care; he truly cares about how our animals feel. Thank you Dr Mann

I was not impressed when I first got to the front door in the morning. It was not busy at all, the receptionist gave me a 'registration form' to fill out, and it was such a bad copy that I could hardly see anything. My first thought was to walk out as I felt that there was a great lack of pride. Anyway, I left my dog there to be spayed. When my husband and I picked her up at the end of the day, the vet was sitting at the front desk alone, there were no one else. When I saw my dog, I almost got in tears, she was covered with iodine that he didn't bother to clean up, and then I saw that her incision was opened. So we had to get our doggy on a table, rolled her over and hold you so he could fix it. This vet doesn't use stitches, but glue like in the war. It worked but I was afraid it would open again. And again, there were no other animals in care. The vet said that she didn't need any antibiotics or painkillers as he gave her an injection that last 24 hours. Anyway, I will not go back to this vet clinic.

I've been to a few different Abbotsford vets over the years but I like South Fraser Animal Hospital far more than any of the others. Pricing is reasonable, vet is kind, and clean exam rooms. I had my cat neutered and when I went to pick him up he was bright and alert. Every other cat I've picked up from a spay or neuter has been really doped up. Thumbs up!

I was very happy with my first ever visit there in taking my Pomeranian to get her vaccinations. I know i could choose a much closer vet to me but as I phoned around in a panic to find tape worm dewormer all the other vet clinics said the same thing to me but this clinic said I will do a free exam and get you the dewormer. It wasn't just because he offered a free exam but how he talked to me. One of the clinics i phoned hung up on me. I will be going back to this vet. Thank you for seeing my Hanna.

Dr. Mann recently took over this clinic. The last vet was good but Dr. Mann is exceptional. My aging dog had dental issues which were complex and serious in nature. He did not pressure me and took the conservative approach at first then did a surgery. My poor lil guy has had a tough time with the surgery as he is 94 in human years, and Mr. Mann has shown care and concern by promptly returning all my calls and calling on his own to see how he is doing. I will drive my animals from Chilliwack to Abbotsford as I trust him fully. He will not take advantage of you either, which many vets will.

I am pretty shocked with the Negative reviews. We adopted Stormy through Heart and Soul Dog and Cat Rescue Society and her getting spayed and chipped was included in the adoption. We showed up bright and early and was greeted by the young lady at the desk. I filled out paperwork and was brought in to the examining room. Dr. Mann came in checked her out explained what was going to happen with her he answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease I had missed one of her vaccines so he went over that with me as well and I had her caught up as well with her Rabies shot. He is such a nice man. We left came back few hours later to pick her up and he went over how to care for her and when to give her Meds. I am very happy with SFAH unfortunately I live in Burnaby and Abbotsford is a little out of the way or I would continue to go back. Thank You Dr. Mann & Staff :)

Dr. Maan is very gentle and caring with my dog Fausto. We have been to see him several times. The most serious was when Fausto became ill with pancreatitis. He has recovered now. Dr. Maan takes the time to explain the illness and treatment very clearly. I'm very pleased with Dr.Maan's care so far.

Our Bengal Egyptian young cat panicked and over heated on our way to the lake yesterday so we had an emergency stop in Abbotsford at South Fraser Animal Clinic where the Vet and staff took the ultimate care of our pet and did not over charge. Everyone involved was concerned and that alleviated our panic immediately and when we got our cat back he was obviously well treated and happy again. I would drive out there again from Vancouver if ever our cat needs immediate and skilled care. Thank you all.

I found the vetranarian to be excellent. And he treated my dig very well. Chuck doesn't trust alot of people at first but he went with him right away and came out feeling happy. So im happy. However, the women at the front counter, is very very unpleasant. Compared to other places where ive been the girls up front are knowledgeable and friendly, this girl is not knowledgeable or friendly. She is abrupt both in person and on the phone where she hung up on me after being cold as ice when i asked her a follow up question the fay after my visit with my dog there. So just ignore her, and wait fir the doctors because they are great.

This hospital is wonderful. Never did I feel that I was overcharged or oversold. They always take the time to walk you through the steps and work at the pace that you dictate. Vets often get a bad name for pushing or ripping people off -- not this place. Dr. Maan is gentle and loving. He was so wonderful with our pup and last night when we had to put our baby to sleep. He shed tears as he watched us hurt. I rarely feel motivated to write a review but I had to for this place. If you are looking for a professional, kind, and knowledgeable vet, consider this hospital.

Very good experience here, friendly and took care of our kittens spay. The doctor explained everything quite clearly, and the prices seem fair to what is offered. I felt the stitches on our cat could have been not the best and that might have contributed to them blowing out a few days later, but they quickly brought us in and fixed her up. I definitely recommend South Fraser Animal Hospital:)

My dog faced an allergic reaction at 8:28 pm on a Monday, one phone call to Dr. Maan he said to rush to the clinic he is willing to stay late as his clinic usually closes at 8:30. Upon arrival he was able to relieve the dog from its symptoms within seconds, very reasonably priced. Will definitely return for routine check ups.

I am completely unsatisfied with my experience with them. I took one of my cats there because she was acting weird and I thought she might be sick or something and because she is my daughters cat my daughter pushed me to take her to the vet to get looked at just to be safe, which I agreed with. So we took her cat there and they said they wanted to keep her overnight because they wanted to run tests on her. Then they wanted a $250. Deposit. The next day we went and picked her up with a balanced bill of $375 for a total of $625. For a one night stay. All of her tests came back negative, so there was nothing wrong with her. My daughter went in the back at the vets to see how her cat was doing and when she did her cat was crawled up in a corner scared like you wouldn't believe with her neck shaved, part of her paw shaved and she had a ton of IVs in her. When there was nothing wrong with her! Not to mention they charged us through the nose to do things that weren't even necessary. They tortured my daughters cat. And the whole time her cat was at the vet my daughter wouldn't stop crying. She's 13. That hurt her so much that someone could do that. She loves her cats more than she loves most people. I would not recommend this vet at all. I gave them a one star review just because it wouldn't let me post it without putting a star review. They don't deserve any stars.

Wonderful service! The vet called me personally following up after my cat had surgery. I have been going to this clinic for almost 3 years for my cats and dog. I am impressed with the straightforward nature of the vet and his friendly staff. The prices are comparable, and the Vet is knowledgeable. The office is small and there is only the one Vet, but I imagine that keeps the costs down for the customer. I would recommend South Fraser Animal Hospital to my friends.

My dog came in for surgery after he injested a diaper, and he had to have surgery and the vet took amazing care of my dog, my dog had a smooth recovery and everything went great. We just had our dog in for dental cleaning and extractions and Dr. Mann and his team are amazing. So patient, informative, kind and caring. During the pre-visit before the surgery, we found out he had a heart murmur which can make surgery more tricky. Dr. Mann shared all the options with us and what he thought would be best. Our dog had no issues and is recuperating. We will continue using South Fraser Animal Hospital for our pet needs.
