We just had a litter of six French Bulldog puppies at Gladys Vet Hospital. Of course the pups decided to come early. The Doctor and receptionist got us in immediately on a Sunday, late afternoon, and performed the cesarean in a very skillful, relaxed manner. They welcomed me and my family warmly and helped us to stimulate the pups just as if we had come on our scheduled day. Leading up to this, in the week prior to delivery they were very kind and patient as my girl teetered on the edge of labour. I was stressed and they were kind, reassuring and so very helpful. I’ve worked with many vets in the past and I have to say this team is by far the best I’ve found yet! To top that off, their prices are wonderfully affordable unlike so many other places who seem to have forgotten that not everyone who has animals has the means to drive a Mercedes. I highly recommend this clinic without hesitation.

Noticed a little blood in my dogs ear on Christmas day and called in many vet clinics as most were closed, including this one. However, since I called in multiple times, I was fortunate enough to receive a phone call back from Dr. Mundi and was able to bring my dog in the same day. I am very thankful for Dr. Mundi as he took the time out of his day, more specifically on Christmas, to come and look at my dog. This is not my usual vet clinic I go to and I refuse to go to the Abbotsford Valley Animal Emergency Clinic because of an unfortunate situation involving a careless veterinarian so I am very thankful for Dr. Mundi. He is kind and very understanding. I trust his judgment and would highly recommend this vet clinic. You're leaving your pets in very good hands. Thank you Dr. Mundi

I had brought my cat in because she had been coughing, sneezing, and wheezing. The doctor had only given antibiotics and took no blood work or even took a X-Ray (I had asked what they could do for my cat). After 3 Visits 3 antibiotic shots and 2 prescriptions I had taken her to South Fraser Animal Hospital TODAY (Friday Nov 26) to find out my cat had 2 Tumors and had to be euthanized. In my opinion the doctor SHOULD have tried to do more than just give her pills. I feel they only wanted to keep me coming to get more money out of me till my cat died on me suffering for more than the 3 months I had hoped for recovery. I spent over 500$ for a illness that didnt exist and was actually a terminal illness another Hospital told me 20 minutes after checking my cat out.

My name is Tessa Boyd. My husband and I have been bringing our black cat Tyrion here since he was a kitten. He's rarely needed to see the vet and this last time he did, honestly I wasn't pleased with them letting him stay in his own filth (dealing with FLUTD) until the day we pick him up. However I don't think I will return after we finally get the information and potential medication, not just for Tyrion's sake but the fact that both myself and my husband have called them 3 DAYS IN A ROW to ask 1 question about medication only to be told everytime "We'll call you back." We have yet to be called back and are left feeling ignored. We know Covid is making things harder on everyone but to just not call back is simply bad practice. Hopefully things can improve this year.

Best vet I've ever taken my cat to! A normal vet visit for my cat is stressful because she usually puts up a big fight. This vet office was calm and the staff and vet doctor here are wonderful! We have never had a bad experience with Gladys Pet Hospital. When we had our senior dog they got her in on short notice to assess a lump, they've seen our cat after she got caught on some barbed wire around our farm, and when we sadly had to put our senior dog to sleep they were every accommodating and let me be in the room with her through the whole process. They showed compassion and allowed me to mourn her and take as long as I needed after she had passed, I didn't feel pressured to leave at all, and they got us an imprint of her paw???? The doctors have always taken the time to talk to me and answer any questions/explain anything I'm not sure of.

I came in on a Sunday in a panic because my son had a horrible reaction to flea bites and we needed medication for our new kitten. Dr Mundi stayed at the clinic so I could go home and bring back my kitten. He did a full check up and shots right then as well as flea meds for the kitten and my other cat. His concern for both the animal and my son was wonderful.

Update: They reached out to discuss my concerns and were very kind and professional. I hate to have to give such a poor review however this was my experience last week. Took my dog here as our regular vet did not have any space available. He had been coughing a fair bit and had spit up some blood. They were good about getting him in however my issue is that they performed X-rays and said that they were good, sent us home with antibiotics. Within 5 days my dog was coughing up blood all night and could not get comfortable. First thing in the morning I took him to our regular veterinarian, they did X-rays and discovered that he had extensive cancer throughout his lungs. Way more than could have appeared within less than a week. Makes me wonder what they did for the $500 bill! A proper diagnosis on our first visit would not have saved my dog but it would have given us the chance to spoil him rotten before we had to say goodbye.

We had both of our baby kitties have their surgery here. We started out with complications with Luna but their office made it right. What made us trust them was the level of care Dr. Mundi provided for Luna during her very rough time healing from her surgery. They allowed us to bring her in multiple times, almost every 2 days until she was all healed. They provided us with cleaning solutions, antibiotics, and gauze for Luna until she was 100% normal. I was very thankful for their care for her. I was so concerned about Luna before after her surgery because it became so infected. I had seen about 4 different vets before I asked Gladys to help us. I wont make that mistake again. Their manager, Alex is also very kind and understanding. You can tell she really loves what she does and cares for your baby. Even when we brought our girl Tina in they loved her because she is so cute. The only reason I give 1 star less is there is one vet assistant that was a little rough with Tina when I brought her in. Tina was very scared and she handled her a little tougher(not as gentle or friendly towards Tina). They get you in quickly too, if you need to see them they make it work. Love that about them. Thank you Gladys for helping us and giving our babies the care they need.

Only one experience with Gladys but it was as positive as could be expected. We usually go to Mission Vet, also owned by Dr. Mundi. We had a medical emergency after hours and the Abbotsford emergency clinic was very busy so we called. Dr Mundi met us there right away and did all he could for our kitty who was suffering the final stages of heart failure. After 2 hours we had to let our boy go. Not an enjoyable experience by any means but Dr Mundi was very compassionate and helpful the whole time.

Our daschund was neutered here a week ago and we were happy with everything. The care was excellent, healing has been perfect, and the cost was very reasonable (so reasonable that we travelled from North Vancouver to have the procedure done at Gladys Pet Hospital instead of paying a lot more at our local vets!) I recently moved to Abbotsford and within the first week my old cat "Angelo" needed to see a veterinarian. I started looking on the internet and found Gladys Road Pet Hospital. My visit was wonderful and I knew immediately I had found an animal hospital, not only for Angelo but for my little dog and 3 other cats. Dr Mundi was just great and with his care Angelo's eye infection cleared up. The staff are friendly and you will be greeted by the most beautiful, friendly clinic cat. I would highly recommend Dr. Mundi and his team if you are looking for medical treatment for one of your pets.

I really can't say enough positive about Gladys Vet Hospital. They have dealt with 3 of our fur babies. One was a tail amputation, fixing a rabbit, and now our other male cat. Our male cats are very family only kitties and are not the easiest patients nor are the small cats either. They where amazing with them and soo gentle and caring. Our tuxedo developed Urinary tract crystals of course days before payday and Gladys ( Dr. Singh and crew ) went above and beyond. Granted we have brought 2 other pets in and paid in full right away this time we weren't able to and they where more then willing to work with us to make sure Tux got the treatment he needed. They even allowed his human, my eldest daughter, to come in (of course not in the exam room but in the reception area to say good bye and relax him) COVID procedure following totally nailed it also for those who are concerned about that. Amazing loving and caring people...thank you guys all soo much for taking such good care of our fur babies. ????

My Chesapeake bay retriever and I came to this hospital for the first time last night. My oh so bright dog decided to go under a wire fence and sliced his head open really good. The veterinarian as well as the supporting staff were absolutely fantastic! They stitched up my frankindog very nicely in a safe and timely fashion and explained to me everything I needed to know about his meds side effects and what to look out for in case of infection. They also were nice enough to let me know that I have been feeding my dog to many treats and he is overweight and it's causing stress on his joints. After the operation they took the time to help me to the car with my 104lb moose to get him in as he was still pretty doped up and needed help getting into the car. Overall I was very happy with the my visit and the amazing job they did on the stitches. I will definitely be switching to this hospital for all my pet care needs

So easy to deal with considering the circumstances. Our pup came and went out the back door for social distancing and we paid up front, one customer at a time. Perfect! Update! A little over a month ago my pup was hit by a car. It was a completely traumatizing event. We rushed her to Gladys Pet Hospital and they dropped everything they were doing to start immediate care on her. They were kind. They were calm (which hyperical me appreciates) and they explained things to us in language we understood. Im BEYOND grateful to report she had no broken bones, no internal damage but wounds that needed stitches, monitoring, antibiotics, etc. She was pretty beat up but going to live!! The vet showed us physical therapy to do on her to make sure she had the best chance to walk without a limp, on a particularly bad day he talked me off the ceiling reassuring me that her being lethargic was the medicine and she was doing just fine. The office followed up several times, offered suggestions when the plastic cone of death wasnt working for us and I genuinely appreciated knowing they were a phone call away. I cant say enough good things. Thank you and grateful dont begin to cover it.

I was worried about him after getting some booster shots as he wasn't eating and the staff were very helpful. My ma has been using them for almost a year to support her 3 animals and we have never had a concern about the treatment or quality of service in regards to our loved ones. Food advice has been top notch and all our animals are on well balanced diets. Can't really comment on price, as i have never owned a pet of my own and have no base for comparrison. General feeling on that note is that food prices are generally only slightly higher than you would expect, certainly within the means of my ma's moderate income household. As for services, again, no basis to make a recommandation. Definately plan to stick with this office in the future.

The staff are very professional and patient with our animals and the clinic is always really clean which I appreciate although I found their assistant manager/vet assistant (the brunette, not the tall blonde) , to be quite the opposite. Shes rather unpersonable in my experience and I witnessed her being very condescending and rude with what seemed to be an employee in training at the time, on 2 occasions. Hopefully thats not reflective of how all employees are when clients arent around and theyre alone with our pets.

I just wanna say that the review CSSC Services left is not true at all. I have a 3yr old cat who's very sick and is showing symptoms of having a disease. Because I cant come up with over $200 plus more incase the vet guesses wrong they can't help my cat. I find it very frustrating to have faulse advertisment on there webpage stating that they treat our pets like family because if they actually did care and were in this line of work for the animals then there should be no issues with having a payment plan. But because i was short $40 I cant get my cat the help that she needs! I will never recommend this place to anyone and will be trying my best to tell as much people as I know about how greedy this place is. I will be going to the news as well social media so thank you again Gladys!! Just for an update its been over a week and my cat has gotten worse. The vet did NOTHING but tell me exactly what i already knew expect put me out of pocket $100. If vets actually cared for animals then why charge an arm and a leg to help them or why not do a simple payment plan?

My 7 months old Coton puppy had to undergo surgery 20 days back. We took her to this hospital and were very impressed by the SERVICE that was provided. The Vet, Dr. Mundi was extremely caring and did a great job. The ladies at the reception (I cant remember the name now) they were awesome and really looked after my puppy very well. Few days later I took her back for a review and to my surprise she was very happy to meet the ladies at the front and loved hanging out with them. I would recommend all to take your Pets to the Gladys Hospital. We love our pets and would always want the best for them. And trust me this is the BEST HOSPITAL AND THE BEST TEAM. We would have been prepared to spend lots of money to keep our pet alive, including blood tests, x-rays, surgical procedures because our dog is one of the family. Dr. Mundi strongly suggested that none of these things would change the outcome for our dog and would be expensive and pointless and for this I commend Dr. Mundi.

I Helped Save...dog rescue uses this veterinarian for all their spay, neutering, shots, baby teeth removal and so much more. The receptionist was kind and this establishment is quiet and laid back. We would continue to use this vet but we don't live in the same city, so looking for a vet closer to home now. Experience was a 5 star.

This place is horrible I wouldn't take your pet here they treated my dog so badly. I couldn't stand listening to my dog scream in pain so I opened the back door to my dog in a mussle on his swollen nose ( very swollen ) in a choke hold with 4 people trying to get an IV in. I watched the vet rip out his IV at the end if his stay there, and blood went everywhere and he started peeing himself all over the floor. He couldn't even walk my husband had to lift him up all the vet did was give him an IV for hydration but they gave him 2 or 3 different needles not telling me what they were. I should of left from the very beginning I complete regret that. They must of sedated my dog (with out consent), because I asked if he was quiet and they said yes not a sound came out of him and he barks like crazy all the time when he hears something. Didn't ask us if he had any allergys, he's never been sedated before. Ive never had to bring my dog to a vet before other than when he was little for his shots. I didnt know what was right and wrong. I found an amazing vet in mission, and she questioned why he did the things he did. My dog got 100 times worse after we left this place. They wanted to do surgery when the other vet said it wouldn't of helped at all. All he needed was antibiotics through an IV. He was 100% better after that. We went through major trauma especially my dog ill never forget the sound of his cries.
