I had a very sick cockatiel and I couldn't find any vets willing to see my poor bird in our area in Mission. Gladwin Veterinary clinic just happened to have a cancellation and had an appointment for me within 40 minutes. They where a lifesaver, now my cockatiel Shiro has a chance to survive. They where friendly and knowledgeable I would recommend them to everyone.

Very condescending and rude. A dog feeling uncomfortable around a stranger in a small, enclosed space while trying to look in his ears (which was compleatley unrelated to the reason for this visit) does not mean we have a "dangerous dog" with "behavioral issues"

Gladwin veterinary clinic has to be by far one of the best clinics in the lower mainland! Their team is passionate and caring about animals and gives you the best advice possible. The clinic is always very clean and the staff are very professional/friendly, I have called with many questions and they were always super helpful. I will definitely be returning and would like to thank them so much for taking amazing care of my babies!

Always upselling products. Exams are too expensive. Lectures his clients if you don't do what he recommends. Even slips products in the order while recommending it while the receptionist rings it up. Very rude. Lecturing over and over is not passion and planting fear of what might happen if I don't listen to his advice. Good vet care does not have to cost $92 for an exam. I have friends who go to good vets who only charge $50 per visit. His prescription prices are ridiculously high even after I told him I had spent too much money this month. Why not offer a generic product? I've checked out prices for his prescription and can get it at 50% less. I asked him for a break on my appointment and he refused me. He wouldn't take my unused prescription back.

Do not bring ur rats here, my boy had a respiratory infection simple fix with the right meds. We take a last minute appointment here bc our normal vet was booked and it was an emergency. Did not know simple things about rats and kept telling me and my partner we didn’t know what was wrong. We get meds that are for something totally different then what we need and what my poor boy needed. We went home and gave the exact dose of meds to my rat and an hour after the meds my rat has a set of seizures and passes away. If you care about ur pets do not go here. I think about this everyday he should of not died so horribly in my arms but do to incompetence he did. If you don’t know an animal don’t pretend to, he was given meds that killed him. Will never go here again and have told all of my friends who have exotics to never go here either. I have had rats for years and never had a singe problem at my normal vet. Will never forgive them for killing my baby.

Absolutely fabulous service and amazing vet. We brought our puppy here for a second opinion and Dr. Edwin has done an excellent job. We have seen major improvements in our puppies health in a short duration since receiving treatment. Wish we had come here sooner. Not only is Dr. Edwin a really good vet, he's also super friendly, approachable, and willing to help us as much as possible over the phone to save us from coming in. He's clearly in it for the well being of the pet and customer. The receptionists are super friendly as well and always greet us with a big smile, something important for company moral. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Gladwin Veterinary Clinic. Your pet will get well cared for here and you will receive personalized service from a vet willing to go the extra mile to ensure your furry friend is happy and healthy.

We love Dr. Edwin and the Gladwin team! I drive in from Vancouver because I've had so much bad luck with the local vets here who would almost make me feel like I'm a bad pet owner if I didn't go through ALL the tests ($$$). Dr. Edwin genuinely cares about the well being of my animals and is honest about costs and what doesn't *need* to be done if money is limited. Last year my senior dog had a seizure and local vets just told me to keep an eye on him, come back "if it gets worse" and we may have to have "the conversation" about my dog's quality of life (ie. Come back when we need to put him down). On a recommendation, I took my dog to Dr. Edwin and he listened to everything I had to say, took the necessary tests and prescribed medication that worked. My dog was back to himself in one month and lived another 7 months before ultimately a brain tumor took him from us. The hug that Dr. Edwin gave my dog after he realized that my dog wouldnt have much longer with us shows me how much he actually cares for each patient. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Edwin for extending our precious time together for those 7 months. He also helped solve my cat's vomiting issue that i had previously taken her to 3 other local vets for (including a specialty cats only clinic) and none of them were able to figure out the cause. Dr. Edwin seemed to know what was wrong after just a physical exam and conversation about her symptoms. Also every single one of the front desk staff have been nothing but pleasant and helpful every single time I've interacted with them. The drive out to Abbotsford is long but worth it because I can fully trust and be confident in what Dr. Edwin has to say.

My girl had a cracked tooth and the infection burst on the outside of her face. Took her twice to a different vet and they gave us medicine that's it. Went to Gladwin Vet on Monday, got medicine and on Tuesday morning went in for surgery. The staff in very helpful, cheerful and very accommodating. They explained everything to me and phoned after surgery. I was relieved she made it out of surgery with flying colors. Can't thank them enough helping resolve this issue in a timely manner. Highly recommend them to everyone.

I have had all of my "herd" going to the Gladwin Veterinary Clinic since I have had them. It is always a more that pleasant and positive experience. Everyone there is always so nice, professional, and helpful. Goodness, they must be doing something right, as none of my brood mind going in to say hello...many a thank you, their many efforts are always more than appreciated...and they are never taken for granted

When my 14yr old maltipoo was diagnosed with a heart murmur our previous vet recommended we put her down, it was then we found Dr. Ed. He was so knowledgeable, compassionate and loving towards my dog. He gave me and my family 2 more years with her and that meant everything. Every step of the way he was there, he'd call on his own time to check in on her status and did routine visits with her and was patient in teaching us how to care for her until the very end. We will forever be grateful. I could think of no other vet to bring my new puppy to and feel confident she'll receive the best care ever! Dr. Ed and the staff are amazing angels to animals everywhere.

So I'm not coming here for a check up,my cat is super sick & they are being super amazing. I will never take my furry babies anywhere else. They do require payment in full after so if that's an issue for you than you have to go elsewhere (I saw that as a complaint on here, I do understand it can be) They are doing everything they can to help as my baby has to be at home. They take all my worry mom calls & ya just wonderful. I am comparing them to the other vets I have dealt with while my babies have been sick (my cats are uti prone) I like the doctors frankness while still letting me know he cares. He could totally see my over anxiousness & handle me well :). Even if my baby doesnt pull through (we have months to go) these people are amzing

When we moved from Coquitlam, we were worried about finding a clinic for our pets that would give excellent, caring service. Gladwin was recommended to us from our previous veterinarian, and they could not have recommended a better place. The service is friendly, the staff are caring and professional, and we always walk out of there feeling confident our pets have been taken care of and loved while they were there. The prices are reasonable, and they will order food and other supplies in for you! Honestly, if you are a nervous pet parent who wants to make sure your pets are safe and treated well, I cannot recommend Gladwin strongly enough.
