The front workers were fantastic. My son and I wore masks, the Vet didn't. She also scared my dog (Labradoodle 1.5yrs) and put a muzzle on him. She didn’t greet him before touching him and grabbing his legs. He was scared and tucked his tail in and barked. She called a nice man in to muzzle my dog. He commented on how he was scared and not agressive. He asked if she had given him a treat first, she said no. Unfortunately this wasn't a good fit for us.

I just recently tried out Allwest because of the proximity to my house, and I was not disappointed. My cat's exam was easy (he was even less stressed than usual), the staff were excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the low exam cost! Being low income, this makes all the difference in the world to me. But what brought me here to give a rating today was because yesterday, when I was worried about my cat being unwell and called in to make an emergency appointment, the girl there (Rhiannon?) was so patient and kind and informative. She let me know that in this case I should give it 24 hours because it was fairly normal, rather than wasting my money, but talked me through everything and even gave me her name and said call back later if I still felt worried or just wanted to ask more questions, and that if I needed an appointment the next day to let them know I'd spoken to her and they'd fit me in. I felt so much better that I was able to go to work without worry, and she was absolutely right - he is back to normal today. I feel so comfortable knowing that someone like that is there if I have any concerns, and I'm so happy to know there is a good vet and amazing staff there if something should ever happen to my boy. If I could give this place 100 stars I would.

We brought our dog Eddie in for a TPLO surgery and the treatment was top notch. The front office staff are very communicative and positive, I immediately got the sense that they care deeply for every single animal that comes through their doors. Rhiannon the surgery nurse, is truly professional and caring. Her instructions both pre- and post-surgery were clear and thorough. She follows up constantly and allows you to send her texts/pics with questions! Her service is the best I've experienced at a vet.

Absolutely the only place I trust with my fur baby! We switched to Allwest because we were over charged and recommended unneeded procedures from most Vets in Mission. I don't mind driving to Abbotsford knowing they are so honest. I highly recommend Allwest!

Dr Sran and the staff at Allwest Animal Hospital are the best!! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. We had our furbaby, Odin in for TPLO surgery in February. Dr Sran was got us in within a week for surgery as we were put on a 3 month waitlist with our local vet. Im eternally grateful for his immediate attention. The care and love our dog was shown has made the healing process so much better. The staff calls often to check in for follow up and they are always ready to answer any questions that arise. These people are wonderful and care about you and your pets. We recently took our old cat in to find out why he was in pain. They gave us options and in the end helped us make the right decision to put him to sleep. He would have only suffered more if we tried to help him. Their prices are good. They are not trying to make money off of you. They are trying to help animals feel better. So glad I found them. They cared enough to send a sympathy card. What Vet does that? Thank you.

We travel from Vancouver to Abbotsford to take our pets here. The vet knows his stuff and the support staff go above and beyond. We called and asked them to fax the rabis vaccination records to Petsmart so they would groom our 'lil Pomeranian Mini. For whatever reason it would not go through and so she hand delivered the paperwork after her shift... by far THE BEST vet clinic we've ever used. We gladly drive the hour plus for these guys, well worth it!

Dr.Sran and his staff are doing everything they can possible for my dog with a rare condition he has been diagnosed with. When it came to the time to lay him to rest, they all knew how hard it was for me. His surgical nurse let me and my family in the back while everything was being done, even with all the Covid stuff. She was there for us during and after it was done.

After making the heartbreaking decision that every pet owner dreads, I booked an appointment to humanely euthanize my beloved dog. Two days before the appointment I called the office to prepare my invoice ahead of time so that I could pay for it and not have to worry about it on the day (or following days) after the procedure. I recieved a call back with my "quote" however I was warned that because Dr. Sran is looking to retire over the next few years, he has increased his rates for euthanasia because he does not want to do this procedure anymore. I was then quoted over $800 for my 20 lb. dog. I was completely caught off guard and upset. Why didn't anyone (including Dr. Sran) say anything to me about this at the time of me booking the appointment? Had I not called a head of time I would have just been handed an absurd bill when I was most vulnerable after the procedure was already done. I then had to go through the heartbreaking process again of sourcing another (now unfamiliar) vet clinic to euthanize my dog. I found another vet that I felt comfortable with and was quoted almost $600 LESS. I am absolutely disgusted in how Dr. Sran handled this situation. If you have a senior pet in the care of Allwest you may want to make the switch now. I would hate to see anyone else go through what I went through during an already very difficult time.

Very unprofessional and unsafe for your pets. Office Manager is nice to your face but talks negatively when she thinks no one is listening. She has even known about mistakes made resulting in a patient's death and not corrected the behavior of the staff. My friend used to work here and was berated with harassing and hurtful texts from her because she chose to leave for a better, healthier job. She commented on my friend's appearance, education (although she is actually more educated than her) and career goals negatively and would not stop until she stopped replying. The clinic is very dirty, old and disorganized. Many of the procedures are done in non-sterilized environments that result in infections. Pets are put in kennels and not walked, fed or examined appropriately in the time they are there. There is one vet tech (male) who makes sexist remarks when asked for an explanation of something, or just ignores you all together. The owner is a bully and makes staff do things (like euthanasias and neutering) without proper training and is against the Veterinary College's guidelines. I have heard him screaming at his staff in the back when they ask for clarification of a request. They do not provide accurate records in a timely manner. The prices are low because of the lack of experience of staff and lack of investment in the clinic itself. All products sold over the counter are ridiculously marked up to cover the bottom line. Go here at your own risk.

Their professionalism, attention to detail, thoroughness and care are second to none. Rhiannon, in particular, has gone out well of her way to ensure a smooth transition to home care and has been an absolute life saver. I wish more clinics had this standard of care. We are grateful.

I can’t say enough about the overall experience I had with Allwest animal hospital. I was searching for a hospital that could perform a TPLO on my dog. Not only were they substantially more affordable than other clinics, but their care and genuine concern for my dog was outstanding. Surgical nurse Rhian is a rockstar!! Treated my dog just like he was her own. She put all my worries at ease. Truly loves her job which all I could ever want in a caregiver for my pet.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for over 30 years. Unfortunately lost my dog a week ago unexpectedly. The love and care my dog got was over the top. Not only is Dr. Saran one of the best vet/surgeons around. He shows empathy towards all animals and does what’s in the best interest for the animals. If I could give Allwest Animal Hospital a 5 star plus. I do that hands down. Thank you to all the staff for making my dog feel at home and with this it helped mend my broken heart knowing he was in great hands and not scared.

My cat had a terrible accident and dislocated her elbow. I was really worried about her but all of the staff were exceptionally helpful and amazing. They made me feel comfortable and I knew my cat would be ok in their capable hands. Dr. Sran did an amazing job with the surgery and the follow up care with Jas, Paul and Rhianon was top notch. Of course the staff at the front desk were superb - patient, friendly and took their time explaining the billing to me as well as providing follow up calls. I highly recommend this clinic if you are looking for excellent, reliable, friendly and affordable care. Two thumbs up!

(Example- Rabies shot was not listed) Have two cats and the chats were labeled for the wrong cat. Seem disorganized

Allwest Animal Hospital is one of a kind. Hummer, our large two year old Bernese Mountain Dog Cross, had a horrible accident when he ran out in front of an armored personnel carrier during army exercises in out vicinity. His right back leg was severely damaged. The femur was broken into two parts, and the tibia was split lengthwise, with one whole side of the bone (lengthwise) missing as well as the skin and flesh. The paw was dangling. His head and hip were injured, but less severe. The prognosis was not good. We were advised to have the whole leg amputated, or have him put down. We were determined to do neither. We were hoping for something else. When told of Dr. Sran's work at Allwest Animal Hospital in Abbotsford we were so thankful. Dr. Sran assessed the damage and said he would do his best, and explained to us what he would have to do. We gave Hummer into his care. After the amazing initial operations, Dr. Sran took care of Hummer at the hospital for 5 months doing what it took to get the skin to stretch and grow and eventually cover the metal strip that he had put in to replace the missing side of the bone. This was completely successful. 5 months later, our dog came home happy and healthy and with all four legs! A testimony to the amazing patience and care given by Dr. Sran, and his staff at Allwest Animal Hospital. We are forever grateful to Dr. Sran for his amazing work, and his care and kindness to our pet, and to us. And also we thank his excellent staff. The rebuilding of Hummer's leg would have cost a fortune anywhere else, but Dr. Sran did all this for a fraction of what it would have cost us elsewhere. I can't say enough about this amazingly skilled and compassionate and dedicated man. I highly recommend his services.

I have been taking my pets to Allwest Animal Hospital for four years. The vets are exceptional there. The very reasonable office visit fee is helpful. My pets have all been neutered at Allwest for very reasonable rates and excellent follow up. The dental cleaning services and prices were also very good. There is no charge for a dental or surgical consult and exam.I highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone!

I have brought my dog in a couple of times because he has a history of eating rocks. The first time Dr. Sran surgically removed 3 pounds of rocks out of my dog and a few months later again removed a rock out of him. The Dr. and the staff are so helpful and made sure I was comfortable with everything that was going to happen and explained the entire procedure to me including aftercare for when I brought him home. They were all confident and efficient and their main concern is always the animal. Would recommend this hospital to anyone. My favorite vet by far.

As a another comment states I can't speak on Dr. Sran as I've heard good things from family. I requested to see him and booked an appt for Wednesday but it turns out he doesn't work Wednesdays. The vet that we dealt with was extremely aggressive with handling my 18 year old cat. Grabbing her by the scruff and throwing her around. He does not seem to care what the owner of the animal has to say and talks over you. Cares more about pushing all these medical expenses on you rather than the animals wellbeing. We felt very pressured the whole time. He didn't allow me to hold my cat while getting a blood sample even though I said she would not handle it well without me there. He assured me that wasn't true. I could hear a shrill cry from my cat I've never hear before from the back. He brought my cat back to me absolutely distressed with blood on her neck stating he cannot do the blood test due to her not cooperating. I suggested I try to hold her and we try again, she was calm with me present. This doctor shaved and poked my cat in the neck 5 times with a needle and did not hit a vein once. He stated she needed to be sedated even though she was acting fine in this state and he was unable to catch a vein running the needle all over her neck. I paid and left as fast as possible. I will never return to this vet.

The staff were very friendly over the phone, but I found them to be rather cold and uncomfortable when meeting them in person. I was a first time customer here with my puppy and I found the clinic to be quite dirty, disorganized, and dated. When I told the vet of my suspicions of my puppy having an allergic reaction to something due to having a rash, he took my word for it and gave me pretty poor suggestions on how to control the allergic reaction, but did not even look at the rash I had mentioned. It was affordable, which is why I gave it 2 stars, but overall it was a poor experience with very poor service. Would not go back.

my experience was one of an upsell..they didnt want too explain what was wrong with my pup..i was just suppose too take there word..i had too go too my md too figure out what was wrong with my puppy..they threatened me with the spca to scare me ..after they took my 500 then all of a sudden everything was fine..they were gona quarentein the puppy..that was there explanation iv also talked to others that have had them pull this on them..and 2000 later they put the dog down..once again not explaining what was wrong with there dog..draw your own conclusions

Such an amazing vet! I had taken my beautiful dog from Kamloops too Abbostoford for the doctor there to give my dog the TPLO surgery. Not only did they take such amazing care of Lexus, they found out why she needed this surgery as well as found out everything and anything else wrong. They didn't expect me to pay them more money and get these other problems fixed, but rather just informed me of them and told me too keep an eye out to see if these problems become severe. I've had too keep in touch with the vet for more pain meds and each of the staff knew exactly who i was and sent her presciption to my vet of choice in Kamlooops. They even went as far as cutting out two heart shapes and stuck them onto Lexus' cast. I can't explain how incredibly happy I am with this place! Very amazing doctors and staff! I can't ever thank you guys enough! If I lived in the lower mainland, Lexus and myself would definitely be going for vet visits to them!

I wish I could give this Vet a higher rating. Today was absolute hell for me. During Covid19 no one wants to have to deal with anything more then this pandemic. At 830am this morning my puppy got into a pretty bad scenario. Freaking out calling all vets possible, NONE were willing to take my puppy in. I called Allwest absolutely terrified my Bo broke him arm/shoulder and explained the situation. Rhiannon (sorry if it’s the wrong spelling) jumped right in to help!! The doctor wasn’t there yet, they were pretty busy but she knew by my voice that I really needed help. She told me to come down and she would meet me in parking lot to take my dog in and triage him until the doctor got in! I was so happy. When we got there she took Bo inside and checked him and cane out and said “I think Bo is fine!” I couldn’t believe it. But she wanted to keep him there to be assessed by the doctor in case of internal bleeding or anything else she maybe couldn’t find. We agreed and left him there. Rhiannon had prepped a room with oxygen and everything in preps for the worst!! I truly can’t feel more blessed that my puppy landed in such great hands at this vet!! WOW!!! Thank you to all the ladies at Allwest (especially our Rhiannon) and to Dr Sran!! We will be seeing you once this is all over ♥️ Oh. And Bo is perfectly fine!!

We live in Vancouver. My dog needed TPLO surgery but we were told the wait was 6 weeks. Contacted this clinic and my dog had his surgery within two days. The care from start to finish was exceptional. Dr Sran and his staff go above and beyond to ensure the experience for you and your pet is a good one. I can't say enough good things about AllWest. Terrible customer service; trying to get my dog’s files sent to the pet insurance company and All west is refusing to do so, and were very rude and dismissive over the phone. On the one little piece of paper they gave me (not the actual file, just the vaccine proof), it lists my dog as a female... he’s definitely a male. Makes me wonder if they did any exam at all and are hesitant to provide his records because they don’t have any?

So glad we found Allwest Vets! Dr Sran did an amazing job with our Staff, Oakley. She had TPLO surgery and is now fully back to doing what she loves most! I would definitely recommend Dr Sran should your dog need surgery. Initially we were booked in to another vets to have our dogs surgery, but after searching for the best TPLO surgeons, Dr Sran name came up! Took us 45 minutes to get to Allwest but so worth it.
