Love the service and care from Agwest. I've always had good practical advice from the vets regarding care and treatment for my 2 horses. The office staff are amazing, I love stopping in to visit even if it's to pay a bill. They always make sure they've got a receipt ready for my daughter's 4H record book. Agwest has been our vet for years. With 40+ horses in my care I always felt supported and informed on any issues that arose. Their customer service is personal and their followup excellent. I really appreciate the very practical analysis I recieve and freedom to make informed choices, without being pushed into a decision. Thet are great at explaining as they go and teaching instead of just a quick fix and leaving. I will go back to them for my horses for as long as they exist.

I have been using Agwest for my horse care since I moved to Canada 10 years ago. They are, in my opinion, some of the best vets that I have met. This is because of their knowledge, that they take the time to continually update, their compassion and respect for the animals, but also, the way they look after and work with the owner. They will refer if needed, and will only carry out necessary procedures that will positively affect the outcome of the situation. The pricing is fair, and they are easy to contact, and will answer happily answer all of your questions. The office staff are helpful and professional, and play an important role in the successful running of this practice. They have saved my horse's life, for this, I will always be grateful.

This practice (both vets and staff) have continually gone above and beyond for me with all my horses. I met Steve Chiasson when my original vet couldn't come out to see my new born filly-that was 7 years ago. Since then, Steve, Brent and Lisa have all been willing to come out for emergencies or routine calls, always with a smile and always considering me part of the team. All of my horses have been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The office staff are a huge part of the practice, too. Yvonne is the first person you speak to, and she is always calm and reassuring. She remembers everyone. Talking to her is like talking to a friend, but she is also incredibly professional. She knows her stuff!! The techs are knowledgeable; lab results are sent back quickly with follow ups arranged. I am very happy with this vet practice. My experience has been nothing but positive, and I remain a satisfied consumer.

I concur with the previous review! I own 11 horses and rely on Agwest exclusively for horse veterinary care. I find Steve to be compassionate, reliable, practical, investigative, knowledgeable, and comforting. His follow up goes beyond expectation with unscheduled visits just because he's in the area and has interest to follow up. His quiet, confident handling of my horses eliminates the proverbial tense reaction from horses whenever a vet appears on site. (And I look forward to the newsletters! I've learned a lot. I can not say enough about Agwest Veterinary Group, Brent and Steve are very kind and honest about caring for your horse. When i lost my Fletch to colic 3 years ago, Steve was very kind and gentle with me and Fletch. Steve and the rest of the clinic truly cared and showed their condolences to me. That I will always treasure . When my horse Codee was diagnosed with EORTH. Brent did Codees surgery which is along and tiring procedure. But Brent and Elizabeth gave tender loving care to my Codee during the whole procedure, even with me. :) I got many calls from Brent and Elizabeth to see how Codee was doing during his healing time, this indeed made me feel very special, that they cared the way they did. If there was any concerns or questions from me ( yup worried mom), Brent or Steve where there for me and Codee either by phone or text. Even after a year of having his surgery, any time that either Brent or Steve are in the barn seeing other clients , they come by and ask about their special patient and are checking on his gums or even asking me about how he is doing. As for the girls in the office, its like being with old friends, we laugh and talk just about anything. They too still ask about my special boy Codee. It doesn't matter how busy they are the girls make you feel welcome. :) I think they all have become like family, to me. I know they will be for you too. Because they truly do care about your special loving family member no matter what it is.
