1 star because we paid 900$ and they didnt even tell us what's wrong .would never come back. 900$ and no answers . Pain killers when he doesnt seem to be in pain. Said we weren't getting dog back if we didnt pay .. what does a person do in this situation . We were there less than two hours and charged 900 with no answers!!

My dog ate some "magic mushrooms" from back laneway. Vets where rwady to help and calm. Very pleasent and relaxed experience. Was quite pricey but understandable for late night service

Unfortunately, my cat was hit by a car. Thank you to the kind gentleman that picked him up and rushed him to the Abbotsford Valley Animal Emergency Clinic sometime after 12am. Although, my cat passed away before he got to the clinic, knowing someone tried to help him made it a little less painful. I really appreciate how hard the admin staff worked to track me down and let me know. She was super compassionate and helpful for the steps that followed. I am so grateful for her kindness.

This vet is notorious for holding and sending your animal to a shelter as 'abandonment' if you cannot come up with money on the spot - even if its for $1000s of dollars and you're working on figuring out your pet insurance. Biggest crooks I have ever dealt with, there is zero professionalism. I know multiple people who've had similar experiences. Please do not give them your business and for the love of god, do not take your animals here.

Dont come to this vet. There's an emergency clinic in langley that's much better. We came here with our small dog who was very sick and the vet was so cold didn't seem to care about our dog. Cost us about 1000. Didn't get any answers about what was wrong with our girl.

Saved my cats life a couple years ago. He is now around 15 years old and acts like he is 7, and still as beautiful as ever. Although they called him the "B" word, he has a big heart. Thanks!

I never write reviews but I just had to share my experience. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this clinic. My dog was attacked by another dog so we had no choice but to go here since it was pretty late and we wanted to make sure he was going to be okay. Keep in mind my dog didn't have severe damage. The doctor looked him over for 10 seconds and wanted my dog to do blood tests and get sedated to make sure his organs were all working fine when my little guy was bit on the face only. He estimated it to be roughly around $1300! If my dog was in critical condition I would pay for it without a doubt but my dog behaved normally as usual and looked completely fine except for a little gash near his nose plus a few scratches. Everyone who helped us at the clinic were very kind and helpful except the doctor. The doctor will take advantage of your pained state just to take your hard earned money. Do you really want someone like that to "help" your pet? I'm sorry but I won't. The doctor does not care for your pets well being so why even go into this field in the first place! Looking at the other reviews, it is obvious that this isn't the first time this disgusting doctor has taken advantage of the vulnerable people who were forced to bring in their sick or injured pets in an emergency situation. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! UPDATE: I took my dog to my usual vet clinic the next morning and after examining him, all he really needed was antibiotics and pain killers which all added up to be around $150!! Do not fall for this doctors scam. I am very upset over this incident and now I wish to warn all pet owners for when you're put in an emergency situation and don't know where or what to do. There's a way better emergency clinic in Langley and it's honestly worth the trip. Hope this helps.

Great place with wonderful, compassionate people making an actual difference helping sick and injured wildlife.

We brought our cat in because he was having breathing problems, had no energy and was very unwell. He was there for 3 days. I feel we had great service from everyone that cared for him. Thank you for saving our beloved kitty!

Traci Smith

I felt they handled my puppy's recent broken leg quite well and I'm grateful they are available after regular hours. They are pricey, but all vets seem to be. Now we just have to wait to see how well it sets.

**DO NOT GO THERE** We took our 4month old puppy there as he was winning and crying all of a sudden and we didn’t know the reason why. The vet was short and rude and barely let us speak the entire time. We kept saying we think it’s something he ate because it was very sudden. He asked if I had taken him on a walk today and I said yes, earlier in the day. He then promptly said that our dog might have eaten something during our walk laced with DRUGS, and that’s why he might be feeling sick. He then took the dog inside for a drug test and he came back saying it tested positive for very faint traces of Marijuana. When we started to ask questions about our next steps, he would not let us talk and just said he needed to induce vomiting, give him charcoal and keep him there on an IV overnight. He then gave us the estimate and it would have been $1400. We found it outrageous and did not feel right about this! We still paid $260 for this examination. We then took our pup to the Langley emergency vet and lord and behold: he had eaten something sharp that was stuck in his stomach (NOT MARIJUANA) AND had a lot of stool in his bowel!! Not only cheaper than this one in Abbotsford, but the problem was solved promptly. Not to mention the vet was nice.

Took our dog in as he had been bitten by another dog. Extremely friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff. Immediate service and prompt resolution. The dog is doing very well. Would use again without hesitation.

I found a tiny kitten and when I brought him to this location they were extremely helpful and even gave me a tin of kitten formula and all the supplies I would need free of charge and with smiles on their faces.

They will threaten you with sending your pet to a shelter if you cannot pay within a certain absurd time frame. They are 100% about the money and 0% about the wellness of your pet. Save yourself the biggest headache of your life and don't take your pets here because you may end up loosing them.

We brought our baby girl with a tick and got seen to before the place was even open. They didn’t charge us a penny and saved the tick in a pill bottle and told us how to get it tested for Lyme disease.

Horrifying! Kept our dog hostage from us while she was in distress. Came to them for an emergency pancreatis incident, charged us $1200 and then asked for payment ASAP. We explained we couldn’t pay right away, asked about payment plan / insurances etc. Wanted the money ASAP and started they would not release her back to us or she’d go to the shelter. We had to reach out to friends and family to pay for our dog to come home safe. There’s a difference between paying for a practice and extorting others for money through their pets. RUN away they are terrible people. Authorities and CVBC have been notified multiple times.

I wouldn't Give them even one star due to there new policy of not letting the owners being aloud in the examination room with there dog. Its not right. If this was a child it wouldn't even be considered . Jr

Need more training. Want to run blood tests and charge top dollar when they don’t know what’s wrong with our cat. Our local vet told us he had a stroke just by looking at him. Not Impressed.

One of our cats was being attacked by raccoons in the middle of the night. They took good care of him, and us, including no charge for certain repeat services. Open when your regular veterinarian's office is closed, including statutory holidays.

Beware of this vet clinic!! Our cat was having problems breathing so we took her in. They needed to take xrays and ended up HEAVILY sedating her (even though her breathing was laboured??!!). We spent $1000 on xrays and blood work and the vet recommended another vet (who seemed like his friend) who works for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (ie not clinical vet work) to do an ultrasound in the morning and another vet clinic that would be able to do the surgery. The other vet on the phone said he would be able to do this surgery 'no problem'. The surgery was going to be in her chest cavity where her lungs and diaphragm were. I called around to 5 different clinics the next day to ask about the surgery she needed, and ALL the other vet clinics said this was a very high risk surgery that required special equipment such as a ventilator and they would not do it! They all recommended we take her to the emergency vet specialists in Langley. The Abby emergency vet did not give us copies of the xrays, only the interpretations so when we went to the Langley vet clinic we had to pay another $1000 for xrays again and ultimately put our cat down because the surgery was so high risk and expensive. The Langley vet was also very cautious about giving her any sedation because of her poor breathing. Had we listened to the advice of the bad vet of the Abby Emergency clinic and the vet he recommended, we would have paid up to $10,000 for our cat to likely die on the surgery table. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS VET.

So upset that I didn't look at the reviews of this 'establishment' before I chose to come here. I have NEVER seen such terrible service and such a money grabbing "vet", when a customer specifically asks you for a flea pill they know is safe, and you choose to overload their KITTEN with another liquid flea medication that's considered animal abuse and blatant disregard for your clients and their loved pet, especially considering you are an emergency clinic therefore people are only coming to you when they need you most, I'm especially astonished that I was billed a whopping $225 for something as simple as a kitten be deflead and derwormed , almost half that bill was the 'emergency fee'.. To make matters worse, when I told them I would be bathing off the liquid flea medication I didn't ask for and didn't want to pay for it - I was yelled at, sworn at, then kicked out of the establishment... save yourself, time and pet a lot of trouble and GO TO LANLGEY ps police were informed about the customer abuse!

We brought our cat into the clinic. We had great service. He was released back a few days later. Unfortunately we had to go back in for some aftercare, which he got. Once home, we did get a few calls from the clinic to follow up on his recovery. We got great service and would use this clinic again. Thank-you Dr. Dhillon for all your help.

If you walk into this place turn around and RUN. These clowns are all about the money. They gave me an estimate of over $2,000 for a barrage of tests and medication that were not necessary. Took our cat home and will take him to our regular Vet in Maple Ridge. I question how these quacks are allowed to practice.

My boyfriend and I found a bunny on the road who had been hit by a car and we brought him in. The veterinarian and assistant were very helpful and didn't hesitate or ask for money to see him. They had to euthanize the rabbit unfortunately, but he may have laid in the road suffering all night without their kind hearts. They went above and beyond!

They were great at getting us in and were quite nice to our Luna. My only concern is when they stapled her after her surgery site opened I don't think she was given any freezing for it- could hear her just crying away in the back, when she never does that at any clinic, they also did not clean her at all, she was not sterlized before they stapled her or after they stapled her. They did what they needed to however it ended up creating a huge infection for her because it was not cleaned, we had to go to her vet the next day to get pain meds and a solution to clean her. Luna got terribly infected from this and we ended up having to get the staples out only about 4 days after when they were supposed to be in there for 10, it was so, so, so bad. Been a nightmare since we went here. They were nice but I somewhat question their protocols. She should have been cleaned in my opinion because it got so badly infected after they stapled it. :(

John Sterne (ApocalypticDreams)

They're alright. Not a fancy place but staff were ok. Not sure I got great value for money but in an emergency, I guess you pay whatever you need to pay for services like these.

William Allan

Very pricey to put my dog down in a stress filled early morning. They caused her excessive pain just to run up the bill it seemed. And when I emailed them later I get no reply. $399 but originally closer to $500. Not much choice when it is 1:am and you and your dog are in much pain.

Karim Jinnah

Cat mended up after visit. 10/10 would make cat sick again to come back.

Ciara Young

This place is awful. Mr limpy man wanted to charge me an insane amount for a simple procedure. The guy no forking clue what he's doing and the place is disgusting. Do not go here.

Matt McDonald

They actually said my dog would most likely be fine, felt no pressure to pay anything. They are not pushy and clearly care about the animals that come. Great staff really helped us out.

Connie Rusgen

Absolutely horrific experience with this vet. He would not see an animal in distress, suffering and dying unless I paid a ridiculously large sum up front. He didn't even come out of the back room to have a quick look. I really wish I had read these reviews before going. It was a very traumatizing experience for me. have never experienced such callousness. Avoid this place. Go to Langley if you need a vet after hours. They care and are kind.

Louisa Vennisa

This was my first cremation with my first therapy animal. They never held her once to see if she was cold/hibernating or to see if her time was up. Obviously as my first timer with cremation... i felt that they really don't have much emotions for customers grief for a minute or two.... All I feel is that they're only there mostly to get paid ???????????? Also I FEEL LIKE their Ore is too fake... I even open up to the Ore being out of place INSIDE the box... **they have a hard accent, so be very specific with them** R.I.P. Stella Baby -black teddy bear hamster- 1 year 10 months

Amazing fast reasonably priced for an emergency clinic!

I unfortunately did not have a good experience this time. We have had to use this clinic twice and had a great experience when my dog was injured a year ago but just recently use the clinic again with a different doctor and not a great experience. I provided my feedback and hope the next person gets treated better.

I brought my old kitty in a couple months ago, she had a urinary infection that was pretty bad, thought it maybe time to put her down as she's 23 and thought it was something worse as it wasn't her first time being treated. They took care of the blockage and I brought her to the normal vet the next day. 3 months later and she's all good. I appreciated their honesty and advice :)

I am so thankful for this place, I see alot of bad reviews but that wasn't my experience. 2 years ago on August 1st at 10:00 pm. My dog Caesar was hit by a car and the staff was amazing and the doctor seemed to care alot. They did emergency surgery for his badly broken leg, kept him all night for observation and sent me home with meds and painkillers. They even followed up with phone calls on his progress. I had to go back again recently as he got into something bad and was poisoned. They got him right in and were very concerned and professional. I hope I don't need this service again , but if I do , I'm very happy to know they are open all night. Thanks doctor and staff ????

Very helpful

Nikol Dybalová

The one negative thing I would say is that they didn’t give me more time to say bye to my pet before putting him down.. or didn’t ask me if I am ready... this was my first time experiencing this.. and I didn’t know what to expect. I felt so rushed.. trying to say bye to my love .. while the Dr was already putting him down.. too rushed made it all harder. Unfortunately..

Went there for an emergency on Xmas day .. the staff was super nice .. and to my surprise was at full strength even though it was Xmas .. they attended our pug immediately and he is healthy now ..

I brought in my old, sick cat who was dying gruesomely, so they could put him out of his misery. It cost me $400, for the most basic option. There were things on there like $75 for consultation, but there was no consultation. Just feels outrageous. I've lost cats before and usually it's about 150 total where I'm from; should have done my homework. Edit: after reading reviews, I realize now why it took so many times telling them to put the cat down. They must have been looking for more lucrative options.

This place is open 24 hours a day. I haven't had to take a pet here yet I only come here to use the wifi. They have a pretty stong signal. ???? For that i give 5 Stars????????????????????

We're going through a hard time with our dog and the staff here is very thoughtful and kind. Thank-you for all you are doing to help us!

Daniel Fedosenko

We took our Pomeranian in to the 24 hour vet whom was choking on a bull stick he was chewing on. It was lodged in his throat. The vet examined his throat and said nothing was there. He did not push us and say we should do X-rays to see so we agreed as he was the professional. He prescribed mediication for Kennel Cough and charged us $200 and sent us home. The next day at 1130am after laboured breathing the whole night for just under 24 hrs our Pom collapsed in the kitchen and died. We took him to our regular vet and she examined Maxim and we could both see it lodged in his throat. This shouldn't of happened. We wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone else given our first experience with them during a emergency situation.

Larissa Schroeder

First impression was great, a very clean office and kind staff. The doctor takes the time to answer any questions you may have about your pet. You can tell they really care about helping your pets here. I reccomend this place to anyone needing emergency pet care.

Darrell Rigden

Great service and staff really cares!

Took my dog in because he vomited some bright red blood. During the initial exam the vet asked me what i thought was wrong. I said i didn't know that's why we were there. Blood work and xays were taken. Since nothing showed on the xray or blood work the vet didn't know why he vomited blood. We paid 973 dollars to find out why our dog vomited blood and didn't get one answer. We left not knowing why our dog was vomiting blood. We didn't know if he was going to be ok or not and the vet didn't seem to care.I would not recommend this vet unless you want to spend alot of money and get no answers.

Swarn Kaur

Had to take my puppy in for heart issues, staff and doctor was very caring and helpful. I will go back if I need help in future.

Kristy Owen

Our experience was great , it was an emergency where we ended up saying goodbye to our dog . The staff was very kind

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Absolutely horrible place with horrible people who will only make your animals worse off and charge you an exorbitant amount to do so

Jason Beltran

Very friendly and welcoming for both people and pets :)

Darcy Keester

We took our dog here when he had an emergency in the middle of the night and they were very kind took good care of him. When this clinic closed in the morning, we had to take our dog to a daytime clinic for continuing treatment and our veterinarian there said this doctor and his team had done very well for our dog overnight. The doctor at this clinic also helped us again the next night when we discovered that our daytime vet had made a mistake in our dogs medication. It was a long couple of days but we are very grateful for their care at this emergency clinic. Of course it ended up costing a lot, but that is to be expected in any emergency situation when you dont have pet insurance. And to be fair it actually cost us a bit less than they originally quoted to us, so that was a nice surprise.

This is my first time writing a review, because I feel responsible for warning other pet parents. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER! It was my only choice since it opens after hours. The place looks untidy. The vet was very unprofessional , careless and forgetful. I'm not lying, he looked like he was drunk or on something. The assistant didn't even know how to properly hold my dog. Nevertheless, it costed me over 1K for these bad services. The front desk lady was the only person who was helpful that night. Please don't come here even when it's an emergency. Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley is a much better choice!

Matt Baird

I took my 11week old kitten there after he had blood in his stools. So he was stressed and in pain. I could see how they were handling my little guy in the back. The guy who helps the vet was being very rough with him, by grabbing my cats neck and shacking him. Even body slammed my cat on the table because my cat just wanted to run and hide because he was so scared. I will never take any animal to this place again. I will wait till the morning next time and go to a real vet. Would give a zero star if I could.

emma young

Do yourself a favor and never go to this place. We brought out cat there last night and he just lied to us to try and get us to do an $1800 surgery that was absolute bs. Our cat is fine now. The place was disgusting, I dont think he even knew what he was talking about. He made it seem like he wasn't going to give our cat back and was extremely rude when we said we didn't have the $1800 on hand so we were going to take him somewhere else. Charged us $170 for nothing.

Dean Elliott

It was open at 3:am when we needed them

Marshall Reddings

I had a terrible experience at this clinic! I had to deal with this fat lady named Helga... her stomach hung down past her knees. When I came into the clinic with my dog she was sitting at the counter crying, she kept texting and it made me feel like my dog and my situation was unimportant... she was watching Netflix on the computer. Worst experience I have ever had! She was so rude and lazy and disrespectful!! I will NEVER go back there again!!

zac ste.croix

Did a emergency c section on my chihuahua in the middle of the night great surgeon and very nice people

Lacey Morgan

The staff are great!!!! Made us feel very comfortable and at ease with our very hard decision. I highly recommend them to any one in need of an emergency clinic

courtney holliday

Was rushing here because I know they're open after hours. My rat drowned and was dying in my arms. I called to let them know I was on my way and that my rat was dying. they said they only take exotic animals on Wednesdays.... I repeated "but my rat is dying in my arms right now" She put me on hold for about 3 minutes before coming back and telling me to go to Langley. I called Langley and they said their vets aren't especially trained for rats but if it an emergency they would see him for sure. Unfortunately I did not make it to Langley. Thanks to the waist of time heading here and being put on hold, my little rat died suffocating in my arms.

jeenie dhada

Took my dog in as it was the only place open but never will I go back. It’s better to go somewhere else as all this place cares about is taking your money and not the health of your pet. They took my pet to the back for an exam and within a few seconds the vet came out. They clearly didn’t do a proper examination on my pet. Vet went out of his way to tell assistants to not give my dog back because he wanted to push for me to spend more money on x-rays and medication after I told them I wanted to take my dog home. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Victoria Overton

I wish I could give no stars, this is just to warn others!! If you have ANY other options please take your pet to another vet. Our little kitty had been hit by a car and our vet was away so we took her there as it was a Sunday evening and nowhere else was open. The vet that saw her was beyond rude and had zero compassion "like... she was just NAILED in the head... like it's just like really sad..." (<---word for word I promise you). It ended up costing us $1500 for her to spend ONE night and when I took the bill and X-rays to my vet she did not find any pain medication noted and she had to retake the terrible X-rays. This place knows what people will do for their sick and injured pets so they prey on the vulnerable.

Bobbi Brooklyn

NO STARS!!! I pray I never have to go back to this vet hospital!!! Only there for the money - they do not care about animals at all. I could not get ANY answers out of them at all (and they charged me $1000.00) but had to go there because my beautiful dog was horribly sick. They did the minimum and kept her alive until I could see my own vet the next day (Lougheed Animal Hospital - A MILLION STARS). My vet had answers for me within hours and nursed her back to health!

Liz Gee

Had to take my kitten in for a back injury and had a great experience (apart from my kitten being hurt). Staff was all friendly and knowledgeable. It is expensive but that's what you pay for an emergency vet. Overall a good experience and if I needed them again, I will gladly go back (hopefully won't have to though!)

Derek Young

If you have the time I would skip this place and go to langley 24hr animal hospital on 204 st near costco.

Di Kwicz

I own a grooming salon and hotel for dogs. I also breed Shih Tzu. (Puppytrax) Today I had a little dog in distress while having her first puppy(I think I was in more distress) I called the vet before hours expecting to leave a message. The vet himself answered the phone so I was able to explain my situation and tell him we were on our way. By the time we got there (half hour)the pup had been delivered safely! I took mom and babe in to get cleaned up, everything was all laid out in preparation for my arrival, the vet checked pup and tied off her cord and when i went to pay they didnt charge me! Very unexpected!. Smudge now has 4 beautiful healthy pups and I am grateful to have somewhere to go after hours.

Adam Laufer

Knowledgable and there when you need them. Had to take my dog in the middle of the night and they offered all their services but were happy to trim serviced off of the quote to make sure we didn't spend unnecessarily. A+

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who truly cares for their pet. I brought my dog here because he managed to cut himself deep enough to require a couple of stitches, nothing too major. Due to it being late in the night on Christmas eve and my regular vet being closed I had to bring him here. The receptionist at the front had little to no knowledge about basic care for animals and was not properly educated on how to do vitals. She just jotted down whatever she pleased due to not being able to use the stethoscope adequately. When the doctor came in and looked at the injury, he stated that he would have to sedate my dog under general anesthesia and run blood panels for a minimal cut which was very excessive because my dog was not bleeding profusely nor acting abnormal. He provided an estimate of $1300. Upon asking why he couldn't do the stitches without sedation, he couldn't provide a proper answer. We then asked for him to at least sanitize the area and bandage it up for which he provided an estimate for about $300 only to have them do a lousy job that came undone the moment we left the door. He then wanted to give us antibiotics for additional $200. Consulted my regular vet who stated that the pricing they gave to us was unbelievable and only a minor numbing anaesthetic would be necessary if need be. I would recommend contacting the Animal ER clinic in Langley as they provided us various solutions for home care over the phone if we could not bring him in and answered any questions or concerns we had. Very disappointed, they only care about filling their pockets and not about the wellbeing of the animal.

Cat was having issues so I phoned the emergency line. A lady answered and i explained the symptoms and situations when I asked if they had a vet in she said no did not explain if she could call one in or not. Did not offer any assistance or advice. Totally useless.

Jean Hunt

It was a nightmare! After describing my cat's symptoms and med history (my cat is diabetic) I was asked to pay a $700 down payment and sent home with instructions to pick him up at 7:00 a.m., at which time the vet informed me that they had done blood tests and X-rays and didn't find anything specific. They had given him insulin. My cat was totally unresponsive and covered in some sticky substance. I paid the $400 remainder of my bill and rushed my cat into his FVAH as soon as it was open. My cat was in a deep diabetic coma and flatlining. Of course. My vet knew immediately that my cat's original symptoms were indicative of dangerously low blood glucose levels. The emergency hospital nearly killed him by first giving him insulin and, to make matters worse, they tried to force corn syrup down his throat when he was totally unresponsive and unable to swallow instead of giving him IV glucose. UNBELIEVABLE INCOMPETENCE!!!!!!! I paid over $1,100 to have my cat nearly murdered. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL, GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!!!!

Kim Wilkins

This vet was an absolute money grab-total disgrace. I took my kitten there because she was spayed 5 days ago and seemed to have a bit of an infection. The doctor and assistants put on the WORST act and tried to play on my heart strings. I am disgusted!!!!!!! Having some clinic knowledge they tried to scare me about how sick my cat was and tried to put my 5 month old kitten through another major surgery in one week. They made statements of "how bad her situation was" and made me feel like I made a choice to kill her by not spending $1200 to open her up again. Total joke!!!!! I asked for antibiotics and took her to my vet the next day. They gave her another stinger dose of antibiotics and said she would be fine. She needed one more stitch. There were 2 clinical staff working. One girl acted like she knew everything and her "training staff" couldn't even take my cats temperature. Her temperature was fine after they rectaly stuck the thermometer 4 times in her and couldn't figure it out. Then said her temperature was fine. Then the vet came out and made all they noises saying how sick she was. The staff were intimidated by him. They kept telling me how bad an infection she had and kept pushing hard on her stomach to push fluid out. She was screaming in pain and I knew right away that this was a chop shop. Even as I paid my $246 for nothing they continued to say how serious a condition she was in as I was walking out. DISGUSTED!!!!!! She is doing so good today......my Icy. The antibiotics have made such a positive effect. My vet is 100% sure she will recover in a day or two. Dr. Bassi was the doctor. Mr NO feelings

I found this the worst place to bring you pet ..

Took my dog here while he was losing a lot of blood from fighting a bear and was charged over $300 to put a tensor bandage on and get anti-biotics.. which we later found out weren't even the right dosage for his size or effective against his injuries. He was in a lot of pain and instead of working out a payment plan in the interest of making sure he was going to be okay.. We had to choose between anti-biotics and pain killers. The vet only seemed to care about money, not saving my dog. Don't take your pets here in an emergency!

They were awesome with my yoshi. Highly recommended . Went home and felt so relieved because the vet was very reassuring thanks

My dog had her eye ripped open by another dog that attacked her, the vet was very informative of the pros / cons between having stitches and leaving the eye to heal on its own. We opted for her to have stitches and the entire staff took such good care of her. Her eye was stitched back together very well and I know she’s going to have a good recovery. The vet was also very clear and informative about her aftercare and healing process. If I ever have another emergency I will definitely be bringing her back here.

good considering the consequence

Traumatizing experience. Took my cat there as he was having breathing issues and pawing at his face. Rushed him in and was told first fill out this long form and wait. (WHAT!?). Then vet tech took his temp after waiting for like 15 minutes and she did it wrong and had to do it twice and my cat was screaming. I asked do you know what you are doing? They recommended X-rays to see if nasal blocked or something got into his skull and I could hear my cat screaming from the back and it took everything not to run back there and get my cat. I felt helpless and so angry

I do not usually write reviews as I believe this is my first on google. The service we were provided in the waiting room was adequate and what I expect from vets. However when the vet looked at our puppy for a small tear on his ear ( it was dangling and bloody) the vet said it may need sutures however before proceeding he got us an estimate. I am very glad we received the estimate because we were about to be billed $1500 for a tear in our pups ear. Pretty insane right? we thought so too. We took our pup home and slept through the night and in the morning took him to our vet. During the night we guess he slept on his ear as it seemed to have healed. At the appointment with out vet our pup went inside for less than 10 minutes we were given antibiotics to prevent an infection. Wanna know how much? $90 right. Our pup is home now totally fine wound is healing and he's still got a ton of energy (sometimes too much!). Vets diagnosis: May need sutures but it might not hold so may have to bring back for vet to cut it off. The vet was going to put our pup asleep to perform the completely unnecessary surgery. Please for those who read this review make your own decision but I advise against utilizing the services that this vet provides and seek out other vets.

This place should be shut down. The vet is a lunatic and will not tell you what he has done to your dog.

Felt very ripped off. Felt this vet only was out to make money off a person who felt they were the only option due to the time of night. Business is only open during overnight hours and called an emergency vet but still charge you an emergency fee on top of their regular fee for general visit. Not interested in your animals well being. Only to pad the bill.

Great place open all night

Terrible experience! Cost $400 and they did nothing for our puppy. If you have an emergency with your pet, please do not bother with here. Wish we had gone straight to Boundary Bay in Langley who have much better facilities and staff and actually cared for our dog.

Absolutely a ripped off the vet there is a thief wanted 1500 for tests on my dog could not afford it she was very sick so he said 500 to put her down and cremate general no ashes but 3 other vets in the fraser valley only asked 195 dollars for the same service so he only charged me 69 dollars for looking at the dog not even really examining her with no recommendation but to pay him an massive amount of money this place is a rip off the vet should be ashamed not an animal lover just a scammer THIEF

Due to some complication, I took my rabbit in last night (11.30317) at 1 am in the morning. Dr. Rana was there and he took care of her right away ...although it was a long day for him. He was patiently explaining thing...If I am allowed to give 10 Stars I would ..they are the Best especially Dr. Rana ..- thank you

Absolutely stay clear of this place. Our dog had to go about 5 days ago to emergency. first off they showed our already fearful dog, fear! She did not like them. They charged us over $900 to tell us that our dog had extreme gas, and still couldn’t give us a concrete answer. They were hardly out to check how she was doing in the waiting room and were always talking in the back. This place is an absolute scam and money grab. Steer very clear of this place!!!!

So two stars for answering the phone but also only two stars because it seemed that the veteranarians were scared of my dog.. which is not really condusive to a healthy working environment in where you work with dogs, I would understand fear of aggression but the, vets didn't even come across the room to look at my dogs bite , we have a big dog, and I called and checked if it would be okay to bring the guy in and they said yes , and proceeded to waste the time where we could have gotten our dog adequate care, it would have been a whole other story if their receptionist had just told me the truth instead of I'm assuming just looking for her pay check. Family run business, if you need to bring an animal there I would recommend clarifying that they would be comfortable seeing it on top of the physical capacity of their clinic. Honestly a joke and terrible emergency location. Would only suggest if you litteraly cannot go any where else .
