The staff was friendly and helpful, they were able to get me an appointment within 2 days in May. I was easily able to get my dog's shots up-to-date, but I was uncomfortable letting the vet treat my dog's other issue as I could not understand what he was telling me. I am going to monitor the issue and see another vet in my hometown.

Friendly service with a smile, even though I was only inquiring about services offered the staff managed to provide me and my children with peace of mind in knowing that our beloved pet would be taken in and treated with the best care available to them should the need ever arise. Not very many vets in the area are well equipped to deal with the more reptilian pet crowd and I was very relieved to find out that they also have specialized care for my exotic family member. The website was chock full of all the information an existing or new customer would need in making the decision to bring their pets to them for their health care needs, with clearly outlined policies and procedures as well as costs for the visit so that nothing is left to surprise.

For their profession I would only assume that they would have joyful, sensitive and understanding personalities but they seem to not like their job. Their receptionist seems like she is always stressed or upset about something and the groomer doesn't seem happy either. I feel inconvenienced that I'm coming in there and giving them business and actually stress about my dogs appointments before I take him because of the way they talk down to me. The vet seems pretty nice and talks to the dogs while he checks them out and is gentle and informative when he explains what he is doing. I have been considering switching vets... especially after the recent incident.

Our little Dog was taken care of the moment we stepped in. They were able to slip us in, in 2 days during the busy holidays. There was no extra production in trying to sell us anything, and they provided all the possible scenarios with the meds we received for our pets eye ailment. Super great team, easy to talk to, and they listened to our concerns. Communication while I was in the room with the vet, was on point, but still personalized. Can't thank you guys enough!

When my cat was sick the vet never made him better and he ended up dying. As for my other cat they refuse to take her after a file mess up that caused her file to be transferred to wallaceburg. Wouldn't recommend the doctor either. Not after losing my cat when he could have done something

when we went there they charged us for medication and when we were called to come pick it up they said we hadn't paid for it when we did.had to go all the way back to Blenheim to get our reciept. never again will we go there again

They messed up my puppies second set of shots. Now I have to pay twice as much at another vet to fix it. Overpriced for the services I got and the vet pretended like he knew my dog and me when I 100% had NEVER been there before. So clearly he's confusing his patients which is terrifying .10/10 do not recommend.

Don't waste your time taking your pet here, They Do not communicate very well at all at front desk or in the room. Do not listen when even asked about shots in the room. First visit asked to get nails cut along with shots and never said when making app they weren't doing nails until showed up for app. They said they got previous records for shots on first visit. Went for second visit and asked for 3 year shot and gave only booster, when asked why, they said they could not find records in their system. No apologies for the service and lack of communication. Front desk lady needs to learn how to be human and communicate instead of sitting and saying absolutely nothing when asking questions.Will not be going back there again. Very poor Communication.

Just moved into Chatham and we needed a new vet. We called to try and set-up an appointment and their immediate response was to fit us in that day, an amazing response. After our first visit, both our dogs with separation anxiety had shots, and are actually the happiest they have ever been after any vet visit. Treated our dogs lovingly and took the extra time to get to know our dogs as new patients. Couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by the veterinarian himself as well as all of the staff. Deserves more than 5 stars. ????

Their can be a better vet. Dr. Raza is an exceptional vet very welcoming and knowledgeable. He help me with my dogs as i own a kennel and have several dogs. Each time i have a problem, he is there to help me, if he can be there he make sure to call me and advise me over the phone. The clinic has very good price, and the staff is very polite and inviting. I will always recommend Grand Avenue Pet Hospital to my client and my husband always recommend this clinic when he is approched by a new puppy owner that he see a the dogs parc.

Took morkie for ear infection. Expensive, first dose did not clear it up , went back second dose did not clear it up and no one called to see how dog is doing. One of the ladies were very good with my dog but other wise very vague with explaining care.Will be looking for new vet .

Amazing care, brought my cat in with no appointment with a broken and severed tail from a cyotee attack, they quickly examined her and sent her to surgery within 20 mins I was able to take her home 3 hours later! Stitches were done perfectly as per my sisters (med student) opinion and they even put a cute little heart on her cast. Friendly service and made us feel safe the entire time. Price was half that of what we would expect of our usual vet!

Dr. Raza and Dr. Imran have handled my aging dogs health problems beautifully and gently. They are not only great and knowledgeable veterinarians , but amazing human beings as well. My two senior cats and I just returned from Grand Ave Pet Hospital. It was a great experience. Efficient check-in (first visit as we are new to Chatham). No waiting (a relief for owner and felines). No over-crowded chaotic waiting room. Dr Raza was excellent with the cats and fast with vaccines. He was also thorough in getting the important bits of both girls medical history. Also, no upsells (my test of the ethics of all vet clinic is "Do they try to sell me on expensive and risky dental work on my first visit?). This clinic has a bit of an "old school" common sense feel in their approach to veterinary medicine. Dr. Raza indicated that we can call and pick up more flea/tick medication at any time without having to bring the cats back for a clinic visit. Much appreciated as this was not what several other vets I've dealt with have offered.
