Par la suite, ils me donnent rendez-vous pour revoir mon chat... ils m'ont recharger la moitié d'une consultation, le test pour ses oreilles, et me conseil d'autres médicaments pour être sûr que sa ne reviens pas... en tout 300$ pour des otites de chat ????!!! j'ai 4 animaux et plus jamais je vais mettre les pieds là-bas !!!

It is a mixed bag with this vet but I believe they are one of the best in the region. They are very professional and have helped several animals in our family. However, last month one of their techs put a splint so tight on my brother's dog that in one week of being on caused a serious skin infection requiring 3 weeks of antibiotics. Then they wanted him to pay for another splint and another 3 visits.

I had a traumatic experience at this Veterinary Hospital with my cat. I had been going there for years, but I feel this clinic totally changed since the original owner passed away and some of the vets left. The staff on hand were very cold with me and lacked empathy. The whole experience left me feeling really upset. They were rough with my cat and caused her distress during her final hours by forcing her on her back for an Xray which showed massive amounts of fluid in her chest cavity. I‘ll never forget the screaming sounds she made in the back. When they brought her to me her tongue was hanging out and she couldn’t even stand. After a short discussion they suggested euthanasia due to suspected end stage congestive heart failure. I decided to take her home and let her go peacefully via our mobile vet. But before doing so my vet wanted to see the Xray. It took them 30 minutes to send it despite knowing my cat was in a critical state. I want to point out that in the 3 weeks leading up to this, I had them run blood and urine tests to try to figure out why she had been losing weight. They found nothing wrong with her despite hundreds of dollars in tests and even told me she had a low grade heart murmur and were recommending a dental cleaning saying it would be perfectly safe to do. I will never go back there.

I got to know this fantastic place because they took care of my Rottweiler which past away. Our first introduction with Tex was when he loss a fight with a Porcupine, it was really bad, all the quills. My then vet refused to operate because I had 1 week to my next pay cheque. Mercier took care of Tex and trusted me with my word of paying them back the following week! They operated on Tex for prostate problems and just this Monday for him having eaten I drumstick.
