I was appalled when a woman employee approached me and my girlfriend and told me I had to leave the store because I had a bag. The bag was from Work mart, that is attached to Canadian tire and can only be accessed through Canadian tire. According to this women, everyone that comes into this store is considered a thief. The store is always disorganized and you can’t find anything. The staff is rude and unfriendly. I will never go back to this Canadian tire as I don’t appreciate being called a thief after purchasing $200.00 of clothes from Work Mart.

Went to this canadian tire to return a hose i bought a week ago because it was faulty and cracked. They told me i couldnt return it here because i bought it in castlegar. Oh well i also needed some tools and other stuff on this trip would have been about 200 worth i would have bought but i left and went to castlegar to spend my money. Ill remember that just moved to grand forks area and ill be taking my business to castlegar from now on. Spend a few thousand a year at canadian tire and bought a house that needs renovations but i wont be spending a cent here again over a 15$ water hose good work canadian tire

This last two years has shown me that there are businesses that deserve my patronage, and a few that don't. With all the mandates and threats of a virus, there were businesses that used common sense in their safety policies, and there were a few that didn't. IMO, Canadian Tire did not use common sense during this pandemic. I will reserve my patronage to other businesses whom respected the rights of the disabled and to those whom had exemptions due to illnesses. Canadian Tire, unlike other large block chain stores, discriminated. I choose to boycott them and will advise others to do the same. Canadian Tire didn't think very wisely while implementing its policies. Our current world situation is undergoing changes, and it is brought about by multitudes of people. Canadian Tire, along with a few others might end up paying for their discriminatory policies.

I recently bought some winter tires and had them put on my car. They left black smudge marks all over my rims, and scratched one of them up quite badly. As well, there were black hand prints all over my trunk. I am a skilled tradesman, and I would NEVER handle a customer's property so poorly. When talking to the staff, I never once felt like my patronage was valued, and it seemed I was just another customer, only there to annoy them. This is not the first time I have been treated poorly here, but it will be the last. I will never spend another penny in this place.

They are wonderful there, I chose the colour of paint , the paint was on sale, YES! So someone from the paint department appeared, we talked, uhoh, the paint I need is all gone. So he hunted the computer and found another paint going on sale for even less, very soon, and that's what I got. A better paint, less work, less money, and courtesy to boot. Thanks so much.

A surprise! From the road, it barely looks like the Canadian Tires we're used to seeing. It's also seriously small... Step inside, however, and you're in for a pleasant shock. Every square millimetre is filled with stock. If they don't have it, you don't need it. The staff are amazingly friendly and go well or if their way to help you with everything you need.

We had called before hand to see if they had a spare tire for our tent trailer as we had blew one on our way back and planned to leave early the next day. Sure enough they had two in stock, I said I would head right over. I went back to the tire desk he said he would go see if he could find them and meet me at customer service, after waiting 20 mins a different girl asked what I was waiting for and I told her she oh he can’t find them a long time ago. He didn’t even bother to come up and tell me he couldn’t find them, let alone it was later in the day and he assured us on the phone they had two in stock so we stopped looking for one. The manager I spoke to didn’t seem to care that my time was totally wasted he didn’t even bother to go back and see if he could find them! I have never had such poor customer service in my life. This store used to be amazing but has gone DOWN HILL FAST!!!

Been to this location many of times and can honestly say Ryan and Craig Rock truly fabulous guys. The service from this automotive department is probably the best in the area. Honest work very competitive pricing work completed on time no need to second guess work being completed. Secondly what ever has changed in this store over the pass few months is awesome finally the store has merchandise on sale items three weeks in a row I’ve been able to buy what I’ve wanted on sale and and had in stock. Shoutout to the new employee haven’t been able to catch her name yet in the Garden Centre in a green t-shirt for having knowledge and real nice looking plants. This stores garden centre in passed years looked like a cemetery with almost everything dead or looking ill. Now everything is bloom colourful and they have an employee in a green t-shirt that’s made it look wonderful who ever she is needs a raise. Overall this store is awesome and the three above employees management should be thrilled to have as they strive customer service.

You have to love this.Tried to buy a kids bike at CT and it showed 1 in stock.Went to the store twice after checking online and they said it was not available . Talked to the manager and he said it was not available and the stock must be wrong as he looked all over for it. Went home and ordered it online as it still showed 1 in stock. 2 days later got an email to pick it up at the Automotive centre. No effort on the managers part to satisfy the customer , just gave me lip service . Not impressed.

They mixed up my appointment time for putting on 4 new winter tires. Browsed the store for an hour then asked if I could sit in the waiting area. 20 minutes later I looked in the garage and my car wasn’t there. Asked the guys at the desk if it was done and they said yes, guess they just didn’t bother to let me know. The guy at the desk does FIVE MINUTES of paperwork before I can pay. Go to leave and one of the tires is flat. I tell the guy at the desk that it’s flat and he tells me TO DRIVE THE CAR ON THE FLAT TIRE TO THE GARAGE ENTRANCE… I tell him I don’t want to drive on a brand new flat tire because I don’t want to ruin it. I ask if someone can come to the parking lot and take the wheel off the car to reinstall it. I wait at my car for 10 minutes, then have to go to the garage myself and ask an employee to come to my car. All said and done, it was a 3 hour ordeal to get my tires changed. Poor customer service/communication.

I am very disappointed with Customer Service at this store. The owner's manual was missing from the A/C that we purchased. I called the 1-800# on the machine only to be told by NOMA's customer service that the Canadian Tire number on the sales slip was invalid. They suggested that I contact Canadian Tire and have them photocopy a manual from a similar machine. Trail told me that they would find the manual from a returned A/C that had been damaged, and send it to me by mail. A week later I called Trail again and was informed that insufficient postage had been put on the manual so it was returned to them. Another week goes by and still no manual so call Canadian Tire again and they still had not remailed it. Tomorrow we will be calling the Manager. I have made up my mind that I will never buy another product with NOMA on it or shop at Canadian Tire.

Go into the store to see the store manager DAKOTA again to speak to him about a product, that he needed more information on to get ordered for a price matching as a competitor has it in stock but Canadian Tire in Trail doesn’t have it in stock but it is cheaper at a local Home Hardware Store and I’d rather collect the triangle rewards as it had a 25x rewards back along with the 10x regular bonus so the rewards made it worth it even know the price Canadian Tire sells it for was only $5 more they store would get the money back and more when I used the rewards at their location. Doing a large project to get our deck stained savings is important. He tells me to make sure it’s the same item show him all that and that the store had to have it in stock and he could definitely match the price he’d have to also check that the store did infact have it in stock as that is the price matching policy. I totally understood was willing to do the work. I told him I’d get the product the sku and the numbers off the cans the manger tells me the schedule he’s working and for the third time gone in the guy has gone home early. Must be nice to be a manger that you control your own hours. Needless to say the coupon expired after today so i lost the rewards and Canadian Tire in Trail lost the sale on 18 cans of deck stain at $49.99. Guess a $900 sale isn’t that big of a deal to a corporation. Thankfully Home hardware had enough cans in stock and now I can begin my project a little sooner. But disappointed on loosing out on rewards points probably around $75 Still don’t understand why as a manger you get to leave early must be one of the perks.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful service. The guys in the service Department Craig, and Ryan. Was on a camping trip with my girls headed home and the camper kinda broke down. We thought it was going to be a lot more, but the guys assured me that I only needed new brakes, after coming down the Rossland hill. They took me in right away both, said they would stay late to get the job done, but unfortunately they couldn’t get parts till the next day. Ryan assured me they would have parts first thing the following morning and get my family back on the road. Parts came in they worked quickly on the camper and had us back on the road in no time. Even a pet friendly store. Again thank you for your outstanding service. If I lived local definitely would be my go to store.

The manager Annie is a lunatic. She is rude and beligerant. When prices were incorrectly scanned she refused to honour the prices on the shelf. She asked if we wanted the stock person fired cause the 4 dollar difference wouldn't be honoured. I went in to the auto service dept. at 1pm today and said my car won't start. I might need a new battery although thd kne in there is only 2 years old. Please check and see if it can be fixed. I was given a quote of $207.00 and I signed it. They told me about an hr. At 2:50 I went back and the man at the desk said "Oh they had to put on a new terminal cable because when they put in the new battery the car still didn't start . I asked if they checked the one that was in there and he said yes and it was dead. I am taking the old battery to a reputable mechanic to get it checked . If there is nothing wrong with that battery and it was just a $6. Fix I will not be impressed.
