Great vet but had a very hard time getting my dogs fill transferred when I moved! It took 3 phone calls the 3rd one being our dogs new vet! Each time I called they said they'd e- mail it! Also I never realized how expensive they are compared to other clinics until I moved! They also really mark up the flea/tick medication and the dewormer! Bought the identical product from our new clinic and it was half the price!

Wonderful staff! We have had a wonderful experience with them over the years and we recommend this place to everyone. I used to go to the Charlottetown Vet Clinic but switched to Abegweit a couple years back. Best thing we ever did for our fur babies!

I had a kitty emergency, it was literally a life and death situation, the behavior of the woman I spoke with was incredibly rude She showed me no empathy for the fact my cat had somehow eaten a needle and thread, and then she says well, if you'd like to put her out of her misery we can help with that and it would be cheaper then the exam and xray. I was stunned and offended. while working with animal lovers you should always show respect and empathy for their situation. I called every vet in town and the only one that didn't give me any sympathy was this one. Just so everyone who reads this knows, my kitty is alright now. Thanks to the Cornwall vet clinic who not only helped me they saved my kitties life.

I love this place. Dr.Profit is a darlin'. She was so sweet with me and my cat "Buttons". As I asked lots of questions, she never once made me feel stupid for asking or not knowing as much as I think I should know by now. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The most incredible care we could have ever wanted for our fur baby with an absolutely fantastic and caring staff. My cat was diagnosed with a pretty serious illness and although shes got a rough road ahead of her, Dr.Profit and all of the staff at Abegweit have given her everything that she needs to have a chance to try and get better and that's all we could ever ask for. This is where I trust and know my fur family will be well looked after and given every opportunity possible. I would highly recommend Abegweit Animal Hospital to everyone.

When we moved home from Toronto Abegweit made it easy transition all records and keep us up to date. We had dental surgery for one of our dogs and all staff were helpful and friendly during the whole process and recovery. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new vet.

Clean and friendly place. Only downside was twice 2 vets tried to 'add' on an unnecessary vaccine without asking. First time I didn't understand why my bill had jumped, second time I realised right away.
