The team at Huron East AH continue to impress me with their professionalism, empathy and care. I trust them implicitly with my bengal whenever she is out of sorts and I can rely on them for expediency and compassion in dealing with every situation. We don’t see them often but they know us by name.

This vet is very thorough and the office is very clean. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and my pets are taken care of well. However, from my first visit to this vet, I felt like I was being presented with a sales pitch on various different products, unnecessary vaccines, nutrition, food etc. I understand that vets are expensive but this vets fees are extremely outrageous, and I feel that upselling extras is the number one focus of each staff member here.

I went to this place four times now every single time I wait an hour to get in and it seems like every single time they want to call and cancel my appointment or say they have some kind of emergency today I sat outside waiting an hour and a half they told me I called and they said it was an emergency for Charlie charged me $100 when I clearly asked for a different time if they didn't have 2:00 available and she said 2:00 was the only time available there was no emergency I would not recommend this place at all I watched the dog sit outside for a half an hour today - 18 and when the lady came outside to give me my pet she said because mine was an emergency the other one had to wait I don't think so they just have no time management

They are the best veteran in the city. My dog has not had the best experience at the vet and she has lots of heath problems and needs veterinary care all the time. They are the only veterinary clinic in the city that actually helped us and that she has been able to not be sedated for examinations. Highly recommend this clinic if you love your animal and want the best care for them.

Dr. Laura is always kind and knowledgeable! She takes good care of all our family pets as well as being the trusted vet for GPS Guinea Pig Sanctuary Kitchener. The rest of the team is friendly and kind as well. Definitely recommend!

Best vet in Kitchener that i have found so far! They are affiliated with Blue Cross. The female vets handle my cats like they are their own. No fear, and the utmost care. They are always happy to answer any questions or concerns I have and are always incredibly patient with the animals (and with me when they need to get shots). I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment and its team if you are looking for excellent, affordable care for your animals. I'd give 'em 6 stars if I could.

I brought in my 2 rabbits here. They had neutered my male a year prior and his new bunny wife was due to be spayed. I brought in both as they are a bonded pair and it is recommended. To be clear, one is a micro bunny, grey and already neutered. The female is 4x his size and brown. I get a phone call at 1 pm informing me that they sedated the male by accident and that I would have to rebook a day for my female to be spayed. When they came home, I found out that the male was not only sedated, but they made the incision as well, AND DID NOT TELL ME. HE WAS NOT SENT HOME WITH PAIN MEDS. He ended up being very sick after and I had at bring him to OVC for emergency treatment as a result of an infection in his incision site. Long story short, I would not recommend going here

Dr. Laura and all the staff here are absolute wonderful people. The level of care and compassion we received while our dog was undergoing cancer treatment was above and beyond and phenomenal. From after hour care to constant follow ups to our questions outside business hours. This is by far the most fair and honest vet practice we've been to in the 9 years and 1 month we had our dog. Words cannot express our gratitude to everyone here and the staff from other clinics that came together to help try to treat our Boomer.

I brought my cat for an emergency visit to this vet location. She had kittens a month prior and due to kittens weaning her nipples got really hard and engorged. I was given meds for her, by injection at visit and the rest I took home to give by mouth. By day 3 her nipples were soft and back to normal. I have been to a couple other vets in the past, but this was the first time I felt like the vet was treating my pet like she was my very own child. It was extremely comforting to me and felt very reassured that my cat was getting the best treatment for her symptoms. I would highly recommend this vet. She is very caring and passionate about her job. I didn’t feel judged or pressured at all. I will be going back to spay my cat and for future needs.

They failed to mention when I booked the appointment that they only accept credit cards. Why not cash or debit? Seems fishy to me. They also failed to mention that they would be taking my pet inside and making me wait in the car. Poor communication is a bad first impression.

I bring all of my animals here. 2 rabbits, a cat and a guinea pig. Everyone here is super nice and personable. My cat had to have an emergency spay and they did great. They always show much love and attention to what my animals need, and even go the extra mile to check in on them or remember small details I only mentioned once. If you own rabbits especially and are not going here, you are making a mistake.

We called about a tick removal for our six month old puppy. They gave us amazing information about ticks and how to remove them ourselves. It was the first tick we had encountered in our pup so we opted to come in instead. Even though it was 30 minutes until they closed they were happy to take us in. Our pup was scared but they were amazing with handling her and we were in and out in minutes. They gave us aftercare instructions and the tick itself for testing. Amazing staff and service! Highly recommend!

Vet is trying to convince you to take optional vaccination, with explanation that they are legally required to properly vaccinate your pet. Plus you have to come again and take "boosters". The truth is that the only vaccine legally required for dogs in Ontario is one against rabbis ! I am under impression that she is so desperate to get as much of your money as possible. Very unprofessional and unpolite service.

I have never been so happy with a veterinarian clinic! Truly. Extremely accommodating! The doctor has even emailed me after hours and they always check in to see how my animals are doing. I highly recommend!

Huron East Animal Hospital is great. Dr. Laura is very patient and kind to my very anxious and fear aggressive dog. She reviews everything with me before proceeding with any tests or treatments. And she understands if I do not feel comfortable with something. And I have to say I absolutely love the vet tech, Cassie. She is so sweet to my dog and even sings gentle songs to him when he is really anxious. They are great!

They are wonderful staff. Looked after my dog with great compassion. He had a dental done, his teeth are amazing now. Had them fix him at same time. He is an older dog but he did well. They are working with me to get his weight down, medically he was 15lbs over weight, not good. This clinic is awesome.

I can't thank this clinic enough for being willing to see my bunny yesterday, for an emergency, after I had called so many offices that wouldn't see him. The care by both Dr Laura and her staff was excellent and I am happy to report my buns is feeling so much better today. I will definitely be returning!

It was our first time there and I feel like it was a but of a money grab. Suggested we do a bunch of stuff that we didn't feel was necessary but they made us feel bad for not doing it.

Anyone that cares for the well-being of their pet should not consider this veterinary clinic. After an exhausting evening at an Emergency Pet hospital it has brought my attention to a lot of poor decisions and practices that were made by this clinic. About a week and a half ago, I noticed my Cat struggling to pee and looked to be extremely uncomfortable. As this clinic was close by and had a same-day opening I took him here. After doing a Physical Exam, they recommended an X-ray and Urine analysis to see if he was "blocked". The x-ray returned negative results for stones and we were told that the Urine analysis brought back negative results for crystals. At this point in time, they recommended passing a catheter for which they would need to sedate our cat. After sedation, we received a phone call informing us that they were unable to pass the catheter and we would need to now transport our sedated cat to Waterloo because they "had other appointments to tend to". When we got to Waterloo, they did not end up passing a catheter and sent us home with some medications. The total cost of this visit was over $700. We recently found out from the Emergency Vet that our Cat has a Heart Murmur and sedation can be devastating, none of which was caught by Huron East or Waterloo West veterinary clinic. We were also informed that a catheter should have been passed because "there is no way his bladder was emptied just from using a Uretha relaxant". The Emergency vet found an absurd amount of Crystals in our cats urine analysis causing a complete blockage and an almost fatal experience due to negligence by this clinic. They put our furry family member's life in danger on multiple occasions because they didn't want to take the time or appropriate actions to give him the care he needed. Look elsewhere
