My mom had to take my dog in to Dr. Gupta while I was on vacation because he had a rash that just would not go away. She said he was so thorough and checked him everywhere and used a black light to determine that my poor boy has allergies! He was extremely gentle and comforting to my doggie who was clearly very itchy. Luckily, with Dr. Gupta's care his rash is clear and he's back to his perky self!

It was my first visit to Fisher Mills Animal Hospital today - a nice and quaint little practice in Cambridge! The facility is clean and modern, and the staff were very friendly! Excellent new clinic, keep up the good work.

Dr. Gupta and Emily are so compassionate! Our Zeke is a very active Manx and has been very lethargic even though he was eating, drinking a little bit, etc. but his ears felt warm and so were his paws so I called first thing this morning and the doctor was off for the holidays. I already had an appointment at 3:00 at AHOC but was really worried about him and didn’t want to wait. The assistant Emily, at FM sensed fear in my voice and called the doctor at home and called me back and told me he was making a special trip from out of town to see Zeke immediately. 105.08 was Zeke’s temp he had a bacteria infection. Thank you Dr. Gupta and Emily for being so kind and compassionate. You’re a lifesaver, we are so grateful and Zeke is showing improvement already ????????????

I only put 1 star because I had no other choice. I was bringing my dog here until I witnessed the way my friend was treated when bringing in her dying dog..... Kathy was cold and showed zero compassion. She had no answers or guidance in what we should do for the dog. She also had the nerve to assume that the dog got into narcotics and was drugged. What kind of vet can't tell if a dog is drugged or dying? To treat a person, who is dealing with a dying, very LOVED pet, with so much disrespect is horrible. I hope that no one would ever have to go through what I watched my friend go through at Fishermills Animal Hospital.

I would give one star if I could. I am disgusted to find out how my family and cat were treated. The doctor was disrespectful to my family and animal during a hard time of need. Was over charged for a mistake that was not ours, and was left traumatized after the whole situation.

we have 3 dogs, our medium size pug cross had unexplained weight gain and breathing issues which were causing her distress. Dr Gupta sourced out the issue in a timely fashion and my dog is now on medication and doing well. My larger dog suddenly dropped in weight, thinking it may be due to a malignancy, we had Dr Gupta source out the issue and found she was diabetic, we have been working very closely with Dr Gupta and the veterinary assistants through this process to bring our dog back to a healthy state. We have daily contact with the office and we are always treated with respect by those terrific vet assistants, and Dr Gupta who answers all our questions and has been working very hard to stabilize our dogs health. We have the upmost trust in him and the assistants and we are very happy to be a part of this clinic's clientele. Every question we have is treated professionally and with respect and this long frustrating process with a diabetic dog is understood by him and his staff and we feel very confident that every decision he has made in her treatments has been accurate.

Accommodating to get both our dogs in, showed compassion towards the female dog during an after hours/emergency visit, and the male dog was going in for a nueter. The officecalled a week later to check on both dogs, and schedule a follow-up for the one dog.

This is a nice little practice. I brought my dog in for a yearly assessment and shots and found Dr. Baldwin to be very nice and quick to answer questions. She took her time to look at my dog and address any concerns I had. We will be back!

We are so thankful for the awesome care and treatment that Dr. Gupta and his staff gave to our 9 year old Morkie, Rocky. On July 22 I took him in and he had crystals in his urine along with blood and he could not walk due to the back part of his spine was fused and he was in pain. This seemed to happen all at once without warning and with just over week of treatments and steroids he is now walking and trying to run and jump. I am deeply grateful for the wonderful care and treatments that brought my best friend back to an energetic and playful little dog. Fishermill Animal Hospital in my opinion is one of the best, dedicated and caring animal care facilities that I have ever been to and words cannot explain how I feel having my furry little buddy back from a terrible kidney infection and partial spinal paralysis. Its a miracle and my deepest thank you to Dr. Gupta and his staff at The Fishermill Animal Hospital for all their work and testing for making that happen.

We would recommend this vet to EVERYONE if your looking for compassion kindness and love. It's clear that our furry family members mean so much more to the staff then I could have ever hoped for! You would never know how scary a tradgedy could be but with their support and love they fixed our pup as good as new with the best treatments and lowest cost to fit our budget and especially working after hours to fit us in around our work scheduale...not their own! This is the first vet I have found in the past 10 years who truly and GENUINELY cares about the animals and doesn't just see them as $$ like 95% of every other veterinary I have checked out. Dr..Baldwin got on her knees and dropped down to my dogs level so she could talk to, pet, & play with both American Bulldog & my Labrador. My bulldog is difficult taking places and around people most of time and can get very protective especially around new people, so I thought that was very good of her to instantly read that and do what she did as most others would generally walk away or step back. She did a very thorough job when examining my girls and actually took the time to explain to me everything in detail. I was strapped financially at that time as well and so she actually sat with me for 20 minutes and explained to me a couple options, 1st one being the usual way (what a vet would do ), 2nd being what we could do together (a vet has to do a certain part as it requires skill & knowledge I don't have experience with obviously, but she could show me quickly how to do the care and said I could call if I had any questions) & 3rd she'd do the most important stuff immediately like her shots & medicine (all I could afford that day) & actually was kind enough to wave the "checkup fee" when I returned a few days later when I got the rest of the money for the other services, (considering it as one visit instead of two) which most places would never do. Also, we recently had to bring my lab in to be put down on a Saturday morning and they were so amazing about it and sympathetic for everyone in my family. It was the vet who owns the store instead of Dr. Baldwin which I was uneasy about to start, but was very impressed after it was done. They made sure Marley was comfortable (she had a very hard time getting up and couldn't walk the 10ft to the room so they said they'd do it where she was and brought everything out to her so she didn't have to struggle even trying. They were extremely understanding and sympathetic about how hard it was and gave us as much time as we each needed to say our goodbyes to our baby, never once did they try to rush us or anything. (Past experiences at different clinics have all been the same- After only 2-5minutes at most while you're saying final goodbyes or hanging onto those last moments with your pet, they insensitively make it clear that you're taking up too much of their time and hastily finish the job quick, hand you with the bill muttering some cliche comment or tell you to head to reception to settle up as they make a quick exit through the door and disappear out of sight). Even after they euthanized Marley they told us to take as much time as we needed, never invading our space and overall were very empathetic and decent. Couldn't have asked for more. I really recommend Dr.Baldwin and this clinic for anyone looking for a vet especially if you are like me and want one who is a genuine lover of animals and is there for them not the paycheck.

Brought my own 3 new kittens here, they were free kittens so had worms and possibly fleas which I expected. Dr. Gupta fixed them right up. It's been 3 weeks and they are happy healthy playful kittens, looking forward to our next appointment in a week.... Then last night we found a litter of 4 kittens in my basement window well (I know 7 kittens !? Am I crazy!? ... possibly lol) no momma showed up overnight and I was so worried. We have foxes coyotes and raccoons that frequent the area a lot so I set up a camera on them overnight with motion sensor alarm that goes to my phone, a raccoon came we scared away but no mom. I called and Dr. Gupta seen them within 2 hours :) They were very reasonable with costs and they all cared so much, the girls just gave them so much love <3 Very reccomended !

Dr Gupta has been amazing. He and his entire staff are wonderful. I have been caring for a rescued kitten, who was born with a deformity that made it difficult for him to urinate. It got to the point where he could not urinate at all. The kitten was in agony.. Dr Gupta was able to anesthetize him and do a surgery that opened an area that Lucky is able to urinate through. Since the surgery Lucky has done wonderful. We are very grateful that Dr Gupta cared enough to try to help, as this surgery is normally done by a specialist. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a vet that will go that little extra to help.
